Olivia's POV

"There you are!" I turned around to see Lara and Supah "Did you find anything?" 

"Mostly herbs, some berries as well." I said and shrugged my shoulders. 

"Did you find any of those Sorrows told us to find?" Lara tilted her head.

"Long,slender and smooth? Got them."

"Good. Now where's Ross?" Lara looked around herself.

"Probably got himself into some sort of troubles." Supah said "Again." He added with a sigh.

"Let's go find him then. Gosh I really hope he fell into some thorns and didn't actually meet a villain." Lara said and started walking the opposite direction, to the path where we came from.

"Are we going to split?" Supah asked.

"Right now I think it's better if we stick together."

"Rooooooooss?"

"After the millionth time I don't think calling his name will bring him here, Lara." Supah snorted.

"Alright then Mr. Sass, wanna bet? Loser has to volunteer to listen to Hawkfrost's story about defeating Icee." 

"Deal." Lara cleared her and throat, inhaled and loudly shouted Ross's name.

"Over here!" A faint shout could be heard from not far.

"You two stay here,I'm getting Ross. If anything's wrong I'll let you know."

"But I.... I didn't...." I patted Supah on the back.

"Good luck friend, Hawkfrost's going to love you for this."  Soon Lara and Ross, returned, safe and sound.

"I see you didn't screw anything up?" Supah joked.

"No I did not." Ross narrowed his eyes "Why would you think that, that's mean."

"It's reality sweetheart." I joined in and chuckled. Ross growled in anger. I looked at Lara. She was staring the the forest anxiously. Suddenly her eyes widened and she gapsed.

"Watch it!" 

She threw herself at us, tackling Supah to the ground. I automatically jumped backwards.

"Help!" Ross shouted. A line of bright green flames as separating us from him.

"Ross! Hold on!" Lara tried to find another way around but another shot of green fire prevented her from doing that. From different directions,more flames were shot capturing Ross in a small circle of fire and Lara and Supah in the other. The fire was slowly moving in to them and they had roughly ten minutes before the fire would get so close their life would be at risk. I on the other hand, had a lot of space. And I knew who exactly was behind this.

"Oh how delightful." Poison said as he slowly walked to the scene with a happy smile on his face "My plan worked."

"Any more explanation you have before you burn us to death Mr. Green?" Lara asked annoyed. Yep she was surrounded by toxic fire but did she give a single fuck? Nope.

"Burn you to death without giving you a chance? That would be mean." Toxic said and he almost sounded offended. "Anyways, me, WitherMU, Skybrine and Icee listened to your little theory last night." He paused for a second "Then Icee got bored and took a nap so it was just the three of us left. We found your theory quite interesting. I decided to give you, Olivia, a chance to test it out because you can't beat me anyways. But better hurry up, your friends are waiting." 

I gave the first strike by sprinting fast to him and punching him hard in the arm. He barely even moved.

"Not bad but I don't think your friends have the time to wait and watch the show for that long." 

*I have to find another way.* 

I ran to him and took my pocket knife out. It was small and even though I tried hard to damage him badly, a deeper cut on his shoulder was all I did.

"You had your chance kid." He chuckled "Now let a real villain show you how to defeat an opponent." I judged just in time as he shot fire at me.

He was shooting and moving fast but my running was quicker and he couldn't hit me.

You can't defeat him by your strength, you can't run forever...

In a brief moment he took to catch his breath I glanced around to see just what I needed.

So I guess I'll use my mind.

All I had to do now was keep my stamina up and never lose focus.  

As some time passed dodging his attacks became easier. Every now and then I'd kick or punch him, slightly weakening him. But time was running out. I looked at Ross. He could do nothing but stand and watch me in hope and fear.

Come on Toxic! Just do it!

Finally, in the right angle, right position he shot a ball of fire at me. I dodged and the fire hit the tree behind me. Without him expecting, I sprung up, grabbed him by the collar of the shirt and with all the strength left in me threw him where he shot his own fire. He landed exactly where I needed him to. His head was stabbed by a large sharp branch, The tip of it was red with blood and blood poured from it. The fire wasn't really needed for his death but I thought it was a nice touch. Besides, by attacking he lost the focus a moment after firing. Just as expected,  soon a brightglow erupted from him.

So that is what Lara and Supah saw. I thought It's beautiful... In some way.

I could soon see the angel of Toxic. He looked down at us and flew over creating strong wind. I had to cover my eyes so dust wouldn't get into my eyes. When I opened my eyes again there was no fire at all left. The body of Toxic still laid there but a new star shone on the sky.

"You did it!" Lara exclaimed as she ran into a hug.

"Heh thanks." I smiled.

"Hawkfrost's going to be so proud!" She said happily "Talking about Hawkfrost, Supah don't think I've forgotten about our bet." She gave Supah a warning look.

Supah sighed "Oh boy I can't wait."

"Let's just go back now, can we? It's getting late." Ross suggested.

"Ross is right, let's get back home." Lara said and nudged to us too follow her.

Home? I thought We're almost there...
