like the hope that shines through
a broken, debilitated window;
like midnight sleep,
after a long, tiring day.

I wish I could tell you
all that i can so easily write in words-
in poems
in stories you don't even know about;

But I've learnt to do better
I've learnt of love,
And I've lost in it
And so,
I'll let go off you.
because if anything
I do not want to regret you.

memories are bittersweet
they empty you
in the way that they fill your heart
For me,
you are a sandcastle memory
beautiful, while it lasts
but replete with the realisation
that one wave would take you away
far away.
and that's okay-
because what i have with you is effortless
Unique
White;
Simple.

and maybe such beautiful things,
aren't supposed to come so easily;
maybe that's why,
losing you,
would be the harsh reality check
in this world of dreams
that you built for me.

maybe it's what i deserve.
