Luna's Pov

I woke up so I could get ready for school.

Honestly school sucks but I still have to go, fun.

I made my way downstairs and saw Tasha in the kitchen.

"Good morning Tasha" I said.

"Good morning Luna, you're up early" Tasha said.

"I normally wake up during this hour, that way I can get to school on time" I said.

She smiled at me and nodded

"Where's Leo?" I asked.

"Oh, he must be downstairs in the lab with those three kids and your father" Tasha said.

I nodded and smiled.

I placed my bag on the kitchen counter and went through the fridge.

"Do you want me to make you something?" Tasha asked.

"No need, I usually just have something small, like an apple or cookie" I said.

"Oh ok, well I'll be heading to the supermarket, have fun at school Luna" Tasha said.

I nodded as she quickly grabbed her purse and left the house.

I grabbed myself a small cookie and walked into the elevator to get downstairs.

The elevator stopped and opened as I was know in the lab.

As I stepped out I saw dad walking towards me.

"Oh, morning pumpkin" Dad smiled.

"Morning dad, where are you going?" I asked.

"I have something important to do, but I'll be finished with it soon" Dad said.

I just nodded.

"I have to go, but have a great day at school" Dad said.

"Will do dad" I smiled.

He quickly kissed my cheek and walked away.

I walked into the lab to see Leo and the others.

"Come on Leo, we need to get going for school" I said.

"Coming" Leo nodded.

"Ooh! I have always dreamed about going to school. Passing notes, going to prom, breaking into choreographed dance numbers after math class" Bree smiled while doing gazz hands.

"Sorry Bree, but the dance numbers only happen in shows" I said and Leo nodded.

"Yeah. All we do is eat, sleep, and train for missions. We're like human lab rats" Chase said.

"Come on, it can't be that bad" Leo said.

"Adam is literally on a big ass hamster wheel" I said.

We all turned around and saw Adam running in a hamster wheel as he smiled at us.

"So, you've never left this room?" Leo asked and they all nodded.

"That explains the haircuts" Leo said.

They all gave him an offended look while I glared at him.

"Oh come on, their haircuts look nice, especially Chase's" I smiled.

All three of them smiled back at me, but I could also see Chase blushing as well.

"I bet school's fun. You know, except for books, classes, and learning stuff" Adam said while cringing.

"That's why we go to school in the first place buddy" I sighed.

"It's not fun when you're the smart kid" Leo said. 

"So, I'm the smart one at school and coolest" I shrugged.

"How's that possible?" Leo asked in disbelief. 

"Well I did beat up one of the football players when they tried flirting with me, and ever since then almost everybody has been afraid to go near me since I can beat their ass in seconds" I smirked.

Leo just nodded while rolling his eyes.

"Well, down here, smart is considered superior" Chase said with a proud smile.

Adam and Bree looked at each other before looking back at Chase.

"No it's not" the both of them said while shaking their heads.

"Hey, you guys should come to school with me! You could be my bionic bodyguards" Leo smiled.

This made me glare at him as I crossed my arms.

"What the hell am I? A fucking roach?" I asked angrily.

"Sorry Luna" Leo said with a nervous smile.

I just scoffed and rolled my eyes at him.

"Okay" Chase smiled.

"I'm in" Bree smiled.

"Lets go" Adam smiled.

They were all running to get out of the lab but the doors suddenly closed on them.

"Not on my watch laser brains, and Luna" Eddy said.

This made the others groan while I rolled my eyes.

'Did they seriously forget about Eddy?' I thought.

"Wait, he just called you by your name and not a rude nickname?" Bree asked in shock.

"Yeah, and?" I asked.

"How did you get him to like you?" Adam asked.

"Well I've known Eddy since I was a little kid, he's always been there watching over me when dad had to work. I really enjoy his company" I smiled.

"Luna is the only person in this house I can respect since she's really nice and I've known her since she was a tiny little kid" Eddy said.

I let out a few giggles and nodded.

"Wait, I thought Eddy was just in the living room" Leo said.

"Nope, I'm everywhere" Eddy said as we turned around to see him appear from the screens behind us.

"In my shower?" Leo asked in horror.

"Yep. And by the way, nothing needs to be that clean, sport-o" Eddy joked.

This made me giggle while shaking my head at him.

"Ok, we need to shut that thing off" Leo said while looking uncomfortable.

"Never gonna happen, ok. Eddy is an incredibly complex and sophisticated piece of machinery. It would take years before-" Chase started but was cut off by Eddy being turned off.

We turned around to see Adam holding wires in his hands.

"Aha! Sweet! I barely got electrocuted!" Adam yelled.

"Okay, come on. If we're gonna go to school, we should shower first, because two of us really stink" Bree said.

Both boys smelt their armpits as they gagged and nodded in agreement.

Soon all three of them got inside their capsules and put on their goggles.

Leo pressed a few buttons and soon water started pouring around them as they had their shower.

Soon they were all in normal clothes and stepped out of their capsules, but they looked uncomfortable.

"Ah, great. Gave me your underwear by mistake" Adam said to Bree.

This made me and Leo laugh.

"Gross" Bree cringed.

"What are you complaining about? I got the bra" Chase said in annoyance.

This just made me and Leo laugh even louder.

They all got back into their capsules to get changed.

At School

We all arrived at school and all three of them were smiling like idiots, they really haven't been outside in their lives.

"Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho" Chase smiled while looking around.

"Ooh" Adam smiled.

"I can't believe we're actually at school. I am so excited" Bree said with a smile.

She spotted a lunch lady and ran up to her and hugged her. 

"Oh, my first lunch lady" Bree grinned.

Me and Leo were quick to pull her off the lunch lady as she looked at Bree weirdly before she walked away.

"She smelled like fish sticks" Bree smiled.

"Trust me, they always smell like that" I said.

"Do me a favor and try to act like you've seen the world. I have a reputation to uphold here" Leo said.

"What reputation?" I sarcastically asked.

Before he could answer Steve came up from behind him and gave him a wedgie, causing Leo to let out a shriek.

"Good to see you too, Steve" Leo said once he was put down.

Steve saw me and his eyes widened in fear.

I smirked and wiggled my fingers at him, causing him to quickly run away.

Bree spotted two girls and immediately ran towards them.

"Hi, I'm Bree. I like ponies and girl things" Bree smile while extanding her hand for them.

The girls looked at her weirdly before walking away.

"Did you see that? I have besties. I can't wait to stab them in the back" Bree grinned.

I smiled at her and patted her shoulder.

"First of all they weren't your friends, second of all best friends don't do that, and third if you want I'll be your bestie" I said.

Bree smiled as she let out a loud squeal and hugged me.

This made me giggle as I hugged her back.

We pulled away from the hug only to see Adam standing next to a girl that had trouble opening her locker.

"Here, little lady, let me help you out with that" Adam smiled.

He instantly ripped her locker door off, causing her to run away from him in fear.

"Adam" Chase said through gritted teeth as Adam made his way back over to us.

"Would you two quit goofing off? We're supposed to not draw attention to ourselves" Chase said.

'Finally, someone who understands' I thought.

Soon the bell rang and Chase screamed as he covered his ear with his hands and fell to the ground.

People looked at him weirdly while I looked at the others.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked.

"What's up with crazy?" Leo asked.

"He has ultra-sensitive bionic hearing" Bree said.

Soon the bell stopped ringing and Chase stopped screaming.

He was panting like crazy and sat up from the ground.

"What was that?" Chase asked.

"That's called a bell. It rings every 40 minutes, eight times a day. So...have fun with that" Leo said.

Soon him, Adam and Bree walked away.

I rolled my eyes before walking to Chase and pulling him off the ground.

"Thanks" Chase smiled at me.

"Anytime, couldn't just leave you here" I smiled back.

Comfortable silence filled the hallway as it was just me and Chase.

We stopped and stared into each others eyes before looking away.

I let out a small laugh and rubbed my arm.

"You think you can manage for a few more hours?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded.

"Great, now let's catch up with the others" I said as he nodded and we walked away.

Gym Class

Soon it was time for gym class. I got changed and met up with the others and stood next to Leo.

"I hate gym class" Leo said in annoyance.

"Why?" Adam asked.

Soon a ball was thrown to Leo. 

He caught it and then tried dribbling it but failed and the ball hit his feet, causing him to wince in pain.

We all laughed at him while he glared at us.

"That's why" Leo deadpanned.

"So big deal, you can't play basketball. Chess club's where all the action's at" Chase smiled.

Everyone looked at him weirdly while I just giggled.

Soon a ball was thrown to Bree and she started panicking.

"What do I do?" Bree asked.

"Throw it" I said.

She then threw the ball but it hit a random boy in the nose.

"To someone who's looking" Leo deadpanned and I nodded.

"Wow, you caught that with your face" Bree said.

This just made me sigh as I rolled my eyes at her.

"Just once I'd like to show these fools up and go all NBA in their faces" Leo said.

"Then why don't you?" Chase asked confused.

"Look at him, I'm pretty sure there's more meat on a dog bone" I joked.

Everyone laughed while Leo glared at me but I just smirked.

"Well yeah, but now you have us to help you" Adam smiled.

He then grabbed Leo by his back and positioned him to get ready to throw him.

"Huh? Wait, what?! No, these are my good drawers" Leo yelled.

But was too late because Adam threw him into the air.

Leo was screaming like a little girl but he soon placed the ball inside the net while grabbing onto it so he wouldn't fall.

Everyone stared at him in shock before smiling and cheering for him.

"Yeah, I got mad skills! Yeah!" Leo yelled.

I scoffed but smiled at him and clapped.

He really needed something like this.

A Few Hours Later
Pep-Rally Time

"Attention, students! The pep rally is starting. Go, dingoes!"

I walked into the gym with Bree and Leo and we saw Leo signing basketball for a few students.

Leo grinned as he walked over to us.

"Ever since gym class, everyone wants to be my friend. And there's been a certain gentleness to my wedgies" Leo grinned.

"It's the least we could do. You gave us our first taste of freedom" Bree smiled.

"Yeah, and our first taste of Salisbury steak. Uh, yum" Adam grinned while eating his steak.

Soon Chase walked into the gym while smiling.

'He has such a cute smile' I thought.

"Where were you?" Leo asked.

"Computer lab, taking med school courses. Guess who just became a chiropractor in the Philippines?" Chase asked with a smile.

"Let me guess, you" I said.

He smiled and nodded, making me giggle.

The dingo mascot came towards Adam and started licking him, or pretending to lick him.

"Aw, look. The doggy likes me" Adam smiled.

But that was soon replaced with a frown since he started to get annoyed.

"Okay doggy, that's enough. Hey, I said that's enough!" Adam yelled.

He tried running away from him but the mascot followed him.

I giggled and shook my head.

I then looked down at my necklace.

I smiled sadly and sighed.

"Hey, are you ok?" Chase asked in concern.

"No worries, I'm alright" I reassured him.

He just smiled and nodded.

"Why are Adam's eyes turning red?" Leo asked.

We both turned around and noticed Adam's eyes becoming red. 

What the actual hell?

"Oh no, His heat vision" Chase said, clearly worried.

"What the hell is that?" I asked.

"His wha?" Leo asked.

"It's a glitch. Whenever he gets too upset his heat vision acts up" Chase said.

My eyes widened in fear as we turned around, only to see him shooting lasers at the mascot.

Soon the mascot was set on fire and it started panicking and started running.

The cheerleaders noticed him and screamed in fear and ran away, leaving a cheerleader in the air with nobody to catch her.

"I got her, I got her!" Bree yelled.

She used her superspeed to catch the girl but the cheerleader still fell to the ground really hard.

"Oh. Oops. Overshot it" Bree said nervously.

"But don't worry, I know a chiropractor in the Philippines" Bree reassured the girl before running towards us.

Soon smoke started going around the room and everyone began panicking.

"People. People. Statistics show that if we don't panic, at least 70% of us will make it out alive" Chase said.

But they started panicking even more and everyone ran past him.

Some shoved him out of the way and he fell to the ground.

I quickly ran over and helped him off the ground.

"Thanks" Chase said.

I smiled and nodded.

"You're welcome" I said as we walked back over to the others.

Our eyes widened in fear as we saw dad and Tasha walk in the gym.

'Oh shit' I thought.

"So... how was school" Dad asked with a fake smile.

We all just smiled awkwardly at him and waved.

"GET IN THE HELICOPTER!" Dad shouted.

We all quickly ran so we could get into the helicopter and get home.

We're all in so much trouble...
