Luna's Pov

We all made it back home and into the living room.

All five of us were sitting on the couch while dad and Tasha stared at us.

Tasha seemed calm, but dad was mad.

"Do you realize what you've done? I had to write a check to that school for 30 grand to make this go away" Dad said in anger.

"For 30 grand, I'll go away" Leo said. 

"Just get me some chips and I'll go away" I said.

"We're sorry. We just wanted to be normal for a day" Bree said and I nodded.

"Oh, come on, Donald, they're just kids" Tasha defended the trio, making me smile.

"When I was their age, me and Fiona Micklejohn, we snuck out and we crashed-" Tasha started but stopped when dad shot her a glare.

"You know what? I'm not helping" Tasha said as she quickly shut her mouth.

"Look, I designed you guys to go on highly classified missions, not try out for the cheerleading squad" Dad said.

"Oh... well, there goes that dream" Adam sighed.

I just giggled and patted his back for comfort.

"Look, I know you're mad, Big D, but these guys performed the impossible today" Leo said.

"Yeah, he became popular, that's literally impossible" I joked, causing dad to chuckle and Leo to glare at me.

"And I cured male pattern baldness with a biology rat" Chase said.

"Ooh! And I got invited to my first party! By a boy" Bree said to Tasha who shot up from the couch.

"How exciting! We gotta get you clothes and shoes, and we'll do-" Tasha started but stopped when dad gave her another glare.

"Again, not helping" Tasha said.

"That's it. Leo and Luna, you're both banned from the lab" Dad said and I groaned in annoyance.

"And you three are to have no contact with the outside world. No talking, no texting, no nothing" Dad said.

"Ooh! What about the lost art of pantomime?" Adam asked.

"Go to your tubes!" Dad yelled and they all ran back to the lab.

I rolled my eyes as I made my way back upstairs to take a nap.

I opened my door and closed it before jumping into my bed.

I stared at my ceiling for a moment before looking down at my necklace and playing with it.

Now, you may be wondering where I got this nice necklace from.

Well...this is the only thing I have of my parents...my real ones.

The same ones that left me at dad's doorstep when I was a baby.

Dad said that this necklace was left around me when he took me in.

Sometimes I wonder why I still have this necklace, let alone wear it, my real parents abandoned me for whatever reason.

Dad took me in and took care of me and gave me the love I deserved.

I think it's because if I ever do find them, I want to rub it in their faces that I've moved on and found a new family and throw this necklace at their faces.

I shook that thought away before getting under the covers and drifting to sleep.

A Few Hours Later

"GET OUT!?"

I jumped when I heard someone shouting.

I rubbed my eyes and looked around and saw that I was still in my room but it had gotten dark.

'What the hell?' I thought.

I quickly got out of bed, left my room, and ran downstairs.

When I got downstairs I saw multiple kids running out the house, and the place was an absolute mess.

"What the hell happened here?" I asked.

"Leo and the other kids happened" Tasha said.

"You kids have really done it this time. And who gave Eddy cake" Dad said and just by looking at him I can tell her was angry.

"What happened? I literally wake up to the sound of someone shouting and see multiple kids leaving the house" I asked.

"Sorry we woke you pumpkin" Dad said.

"It's fine dad" I reassured him, making him smile.

"I just wanted them to have one more night of fun before you put them back in their display cases" Leo explained.

"Biologically regulated atmospheric chambers" Dad corrected him.

"Still the same thing" I scoffed while rolling my eyes.

" Look, the fun's over. As of tomorrow, you're all being relocated permanently" Dad said.

My eyes widened along with Leo and the trio.

"What!" all five of us yelled in shock.

"What part of "no contact with the outside world" did you not understand?" Dad asked.

"Where are we going?" Bree asked.

"To one of my remote research facilities where you can complete your training" Dad said.

"But this is home. This is where I get my meaty-flavored pellets" Adam said.

I smiled softly at him and patted his back before turning my attention to dad.

"Dad you can't be serious, you can't do this" I said.

"I'm sorry pumpkin, but my minds made up. Now go downstairs and pack your stuff" Dad said.

All three of them walked away and went back downstairs to the lab.

"This isn't fair. They're my best friends" Leo said and walked away.

"They're my best friends too dad, and when are you going to learn that they're humans, just because they have bionics doesn't mean anything" I said in anger.

A few tears streamed down my face and I quickly ran upstairs to my room.

I closed the door and laid on my bed and hugged my pillow.

He can't send them away, he just can't.

After a few minutes of crying I slowly got out of bed and changed into some comfortable clothes.

I left my room and decided to head down to the lab, if this is their last night here I want to be there with them.

Once I got down to the lab they were all in their comfy clothes, getting ready for bed.

Chase was the first one to notice me.

"Luna, what are you doing here?" Chase asked.

"Well, I thought I would come here and sleep with you guys since tonight is your last night" I said with a sad smile.

All three of them smiled at me.

Bree came up and hugged me and I hugged back.

"You're the absolute best Luna, I'm glad to call you my best friend" Bree said.

I giggled and hugged her back, "me too Bree" I said with a smile.

We pulled away and all three of them went into their capsules. 

Soon Leo came down to join all of us and entered Adam's capsule while I entered Chase's.

I wrapped my arms around him as he wrapped his arms around me and held me in his arms.

"I can't believe this is our last night in the lab" Bree said.

"I think Leo and Luna are going to miss us" Chase said.

We all looked down at Adam's capsule and saw Leo holding his legs while sleeping.

"Think we should wake him up?" Adam asked.

"Nah, let him sleep" Bree said.

"But he's drooling on my socks" Adam whined.

I giggled and looked up at Chase.

"I don't want you guys to leave" I said.

"We don't want to leave either Luna, but we don't have any other choice" Chase said.

I sighed and snuggled into his chest.

"I'll miss you" I said.

He smiled and placed a kiss on my head and held me tighter in his arms.

"I'll miss you too Luna" Chase said.

A few tears streamed down my face as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

The Next Day

I went downstairs to the kitchen and saw Tasha.

"Hey sweetie" Tasha smiled at me.

"Morning Tasha" I said with a frown.

Her eyes softened and she walked over to me.

"What's wrong sweetie? Why are you crying?" Tasha asked.

"I'm going to miss Adam, Bree, and Chase. I may have only met them for a few days but they've grown on me, they've become my best friends" I said.

Tasha smiled and sat down on the couch, I sat down next to her.

"Oh sweetie, I'm going to miss them too. I tried talking to Donald but he still said no" Tasha said.

I smiled at her and nodded, "it's fine, but thanks for trying" I said.

"I know you're going to miss them, but you still have me and Leo. We're going to be with you every step of the way" Tasha reassured me.

"Thank you Tasha" I smiled.

She nodded and pulled me into a hug.

I hugged back as more tears streamed down my face.

'I'm going to miss them' I thought.

A few minutes had passed and it was time for the trio to leave.

Me and Leo walked into the kitchen after talking to the others.

Then we saw Dad smiling and standing next to something.

Tasha walked in and looked confused just like us.

"What is that?" Tasha asked.

"Whatever it is, don't get too attached" Leo said and I nodded.

"Look, Leo and Luna, I know you're going to miss Adam, Bree, and Chase. So I laser scanned their features onto these biosynthetic robots and I programmed them with their core personality traits" Dad explained.

Dad removed the sheets and revealed robots that look exactly like Adam, Bree, and Chase.

"Is this great or what? It'll be like they never left" Dad said with a smile.

Leo went up to robot Adam and flicked him on the forehead, but got injured in the process.

"Ah!" Leo yelled as he held his hand in pain.

"What do you think?" Dad asked.

"I think the excitement of having a billionaire dad just wore off" Leo said.

"And I'm not so sure if I should even call you dad anymore" I scoffed as I crossed my arms.

"Donald, I don't know about this. I kind of prefer Leo and Luna to have friends who can't malfunction and tear their limb from limb" Tasha said and I nodded.

Soon Adam, Bree, and Chase walked upstairs in their mission suits.

"What are those?" Bree asked.

"Oh, Dr. Franken brain here is trying to replace you with creepy robots" Leo explained.

"Welcome to crazy town" I said as I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

Adam walked up to his robot.

The robot turned and looked at him.

"Good morning. The time is 11:22 and the temperature is currently 68 degrees" Robot Adam said.

"You made a robot of me that just stands around telling people the time and the temperature?" Adam asked.

Dad smiled and nodded.

"That's the coolest thing I've ever seen" Adam said with a smile.

"I rather have the real dumb and funny Adam then this fake" I whispered to Leo and he nodded.

Bree walked up to her robot and looked at it.

"Does my nose really look like that?" Bree asked.

The robot turned to look at her, "no. Yours has a faint moustache underneath" robot Bree said.

Everyone, minus me and Tasha, burst out laughing while Bree looked offended.

Chase looked at his robot and the robot looked at him.

"Hey, everyone. I'm Chase. Let's do ma... ma... ma..."

Since I was the closest so I hit it's chest.

"Math" robot Chase finished.

Once again everyone, minus me and Tasha, burst out laughing.

"That is not funny" Chase said, looking offended.

"No, you're right. It's fuh... fuh... fuh... funny" Adam teased and everyone laughed.

I just rolled my eyes at him.

Soon the doorbell rang and dad opened it and revealed Fitz wearing a black suit and sunglasses.

"Hey Fitz" Dad said, but he didn't answer.

"How's it going?" Dad asked, no answer.

"How's life?" Dad asked, no answer.

"How's tricks?" Dad asked, no answer.

"Alrighty then. You guys should've seen him at the Christmas party. He's a karaoke master" Dad said.

I smiled and waved at him. "Hey Fitz, nice to see you again" I said.

"Hello Luna, good to see you too" Fitz said with a smile and wave.

Dad looked at me in shock, along with everyone else.

"What can I say, people love me" I said with a smirk and flipped my hair.

"Well, I guess this is it. Thanks for everything, Leo and Luna" Bree said.

"Yeah, you two are the best friends we've ever had" Chase said.

"No, they're the only friends we've ever had" Adam said and I giggled.

We all hugged each other and I could feel tears in my eyes.

We pulled away and smiled at each other.

"Well, don't forget to bundle up on your deadly missions" Tasha said with a smile.

They all nodded and walked away.

"Wait" I said, making them stop.

I walked up to Chase and gave him one last hug.

"Be safe and don't forget me" I whispered.

He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me back.

"Don't worry, I'll never forget you" Chase whispered back.

We pulled away and smiled at each other.

I leaned in and quickly kissed him on the cheek.

He looked shock and I could see some blush on his face.

I giggled as I made my way back over to Leo.

Dad walked up to them with a small smile on his face.

"Hey, remember, this is a good thing. Without any distractions, you might finish your training early" Dad said.

The three of them just gave him a look of annoyance and anger before turning around and walking away.

Dad sighed and closed the door.

"Whoo hoo! They're gone" Eddy cheered.

"Eddy" Dad said.

"I mean, have a safe trip. I love you" Eddy said before disappearing.

Dad looked at us but Leo and Tasha walked away, leaving me and him.

"Pumpkin..." Dad started but I cut him off.

"Don't...just don't talk to me right now" I said in annoyance.

I walked upstairs and went to my room. 

I closed the door and laid down on my bed.

I sighed as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A Few Minutes Later

I woke up to the sound of someone screaming and I knew that scream from anywhere.

"Leo!" I yelled.

I quickly got out of bed and ran downstairs. 

No sign of Leo so he must be in the lab.

I quickly ran into the elevator as it took me down to the lab.

Once I got there I saw the robots surrounding Leo, making me growl.

"Get away from him you damn machines" I yelled.

I quickly ran over to them and shoved them off of Leo and pulled him next to me.

Then I kneed robot Adam in his private area.

"Owwww" robot Adam yelled as he fell to his knees.

"Wait a minute, you're a fucking robot you aren't supposed to feel anything" I said, clearly confused.

"Wait, what's going on?" Leo asked, clearly confused like me.

"Leo, Luna, we're not robots, it's really us" Bree said with a smile.

My eyes widened as my jaw dropped.

"What, but how?" I asked.

"We told the driver we forgot something, and then we swapped the robots in our place" Chase said.

"You said you loved us. You said you loved us" Adam smirked while making kissing faces.

Leo looked at him for a second before slapping him across the face.

"Owww" Adam yelled.

"It is you guys" Leo yelled before hugging him.

Soon we all smiled and hugged each other.

Then we pulled away as I raised my eyebrows at them. 

"Wait, what about dad?" I asked.

"We'll just have to act like dumb robots every single time he's around" Adam said.

"It'll be easier for some of us than others" Bree said while looking at Adam, causing me to giggle.

Soon the lab doors opened and dad walked in.

The trio quickly got back into their robot positions while me and Leo stood next to each other.

"Hey Luna, hey Leo" Dad said.

"Hey dad" I said.

"Big D, Donny, man of the house" Leo said with a smile.

I mentally facepalmed myself.

"What are you two doing?" Dad asked.

"What are we doing? We are hanging out with our new robo-fake people friends" I smiled as Leo nodded.

"Yeah. Ain't no party like a robot party 'cause a robot party don't stop" Leo smiled as he started dancing.

'I'm going to hurt you later Leo' I thought in annoyance.

"See, I told you two that you would like them" Dad said with a smile.

"Like 'em? I love 'em" Leo said with a smile.

Dad turned away for a bit as Adam turned around started making kissing faces at us. 

Me and Leo glared at him to get him to stop.

Soon dad turned around and Adam quickly got back into his robot position.

"Oh, you know the greatest thing about having robots is?" Dad asked.

"What?" Leo asked.

"They are virtually indestructible" Dad said with a smile.

"Say what now?" I asked nervously.

"Check this out" Dad said.

He grabbed some sort of device and then he zapped Adam with it and he shuddered in pain.

Mine and Leo's eyes widened in shock as dad started laughing.

"Quit it" Leo said.

"No, it's okay. He can't feel a thing. He's a robot" Dad said while laughing.

Soon he zapped Chase and he shuddered in pain, I looked away since I didn't want to see Chase get hurt.

"Ha ha! They are so incredibly lifelike" Dad said.

He tried to zap Bree but she grabbed his arm and shook her head.

"Don't even try it" Bree said in her robot voice.

"Oooh, you're a feisty robot, you" Dad said with a smile as he walked over to me and Leo.

"How about you give it try?" Dad asked Leo.

"No" Leo refused.

"Come on, do it" Dad said.

"I'm fine" Leo said.

"Just do it once. It's a lot of fun" Dad insisted.

"Fine" I yelled.

I grabbed the thing and zapped him with it.

Dad shuddered in pain and fell to the ground. I smirked and flipped my hair.

"You were right, it is fun" I said with a smirk.

The trio were quietly laughing while Leo was laughing really loudly.

'This is the best day' I thought.
