Luna's Pov

I was in the lab watching the trio train.

Bree was punching a punching dummy while Chase and Adam were fighting each other.

Dad walked into the lab and clapped his hands, "all right, guys, gather up. Today, we are going to be studying one of the most time-honored traditions in Japanese culture" Dad said.

"Ooh! Nun chuck combat?" Bree asked.

"Samurai sword fighting?" Chase asked.

"Wrestling ginormous dudes in diapers?" Adam asked and we all looked at him weirdly.

"We will be studying the great martial art of aikido, the key principle of which is to deflect your aggressor's attack by using his own speed and strength against him" Dad explained.

"Can we just get to the part where I obliterate them?" Bree asked.

Dad's phone ringed and he smiled.

"I have to take this. Uh, it's about money. Which is not more important than you, but is a very close second" Dad said.

"Excuse me" I said while glaring at him.

Dad smiled at me and kissed my forehead, "you my baby girl are more important then money, I was talking to them" Dad said.

I smiled and nodded before he walked away.

"Hey, Adam, attack me" Chase said and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Okay. Your hair is stupid, you're short, your face is weird, you're weird, Luna is too good for you" Adam said.

"I meant hit me" Chase said while glaring at him.

"Okay, good, because that was going to be a really long list" Adam said.

Bree then walked in between them and gave Chase a look.

"Wait, wait, wait. Are you sure about this? Adam is ten times stronger than you" Bree said.

"Doesn't matter. With aikido, a weak opponent can defeat a much stronger one" Chase said and I giggled.

"Ah, but what if the weaker opponent fits neatly into an overhead storage bin? I'm talking about you" Adam said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Just hit me" Chase said and Bree moved away.

Chase and Adam got into a fighting stance and Adam attacked first but Chase grabbed his arm and flipped him over.

I smiled and clapped for him, "go bubba" I cheered.

He turned around and smirked at me and sent me a wink.

"And that's all you need to know about aikido" Chase said as Adam groaned on the floor.

"Oh, I get it" Bree said before grabbing Chase's arm and flipped him over.

Chase fell to the ground and groaned in pain.

"Bree, that's not aikido!" Chase said.

"Oh, really? My bad" Bree said as her and Adam smirked before doing some hand motion and walking out of the lab.

I walked over to Chase and kneeled in front of him as he sat up.

"You alright bubba?" I asked.

"I'm fine sweetheart, thanks" Chase said with a smile and I smiled back.

"Anything for you" I said.

Chase smiled before pressing his lips onto mine

I kissed back and caressed his cheek.

The kiss started getting heated as I laid him back down on the ground and slowly got on top of him.

He wrapped both arm around my waist and I cupped his face with my hands.

"I love you" I said in between kisses.

"I love you too" Chase said. He then deepened the kiss, making me moan.

"Disgusting!"

We pulled away from the kiss and looked up, only to see Leo in the lab looking at us really disgusted and mortified.

"Why the heck are you guys making out on the floor?" Leo asked.

"Why not?" Chase said and I nodded.

"Please, just get off of him and be normal" Leo begged.

We both rolled our eyes before I got off of Chase and stood up.

I extended my hand for him and he took it as I pulled him off the ground.

"Chase, I need your help. The annual Mission Creek Robot Throwdown is coming up" Leo said.

"Leo, for the last time. I'm not a robot. I'm a man" Chase said.

This made Leo give him a weird look as Chase realized that he said.

"One day, I'll be a man" Chase said and I giggled.

"I'm not talking about you. It's a competition where remote control robots fight to the death. Here, take a look" Leo said.

We walked over to his desk and he showed us a video of the robot throwdown on his computer.

"Leo, that's cool and all, but I've got way better things to do than--" Chase started but Leo cut him off.

"The grand prize is $500" Leo said.

"And I'm in" Chase said and I rolled my eyes.

We looked back at his computer and saw some tall weird looking dude who was cheering.

"Who's that guy?" I asked.

"Kevin Stone. That smug jerk wins every year. He thinks he's so much better than me" Leo said.

"Sounds like he is better than you" Chase said and I giggled.

"That's not the point!" Leo snapped.

"So I was thinking..." Leo started but Chase cut him off.

"That if the two of us teamed up and built a robot together we could take Kevin down. That's a great idea. We'll make a perfect team. I'm an amazing engineer, a brilliant designer, and the most intelligent person on the planet" Chase ranted and I giggled at his happiness.

"And Leo... is the guy who picked him" I said, causing Chase to chuckle and Leo to glare at me.

"Are you going to help sweetheart?" Chase asked.

"I would, but I suck at building things so I'll pass, but I'll come and watch" I said, making them both smile and nod.

A Few Hours Later

I was going to ask Bree if she wanted to hand out but she was hanging out with Caitlin so I decided not to ask.

Because one, I hate Caitlin since she's annoying, weird, stupid and she always gets aggressive.

So I just decided to go down to the lab to check on Chase and Leo.

"Hey Leo, hey bubba" I said as I walked over to them and kissed Chase on the cheek.

"Hey sweetheart" Chase said with a smile before turning to Leo.

"What do you think?" Chase asked.

"This is awesome! Now all it needs are laser cannons, flamethrowers, and satellite radio so we can pump up the jams" Leo said as he did a little dance.

"Leo, this is why you always lose to Kevin" I said, making Chase chuckle and Leo glare at me.

"You rely on flash when you should focus more on speed and stability" Chase reminded him and I smiled.

"Gotcha. So where do you want the flamethrowers?" Leo asked.

Soon dad walked into the lab and when he saw what Chase and Leo were doing he smiled and walked up to them.

"Ooh, are you guys working on a combat robot?" Dad asked.

"Yep. We're getting ready for the big robot throwdown!" Leo said with a smile and I giggled.

"Mind if I take a look?" Dad asked and Chase nodded.

"Sure" Chase said as he handed dad the screwdriver and walked over to me.

He wrapped one arm around my shoulder and kissed my temple. I smiled and kissed his hand.

"All right. All right, very impressive. Yeah, looks like you are on to something here. Can I make one suggestion though?" Dad asked and they nodded.

"Let me join your team. I have made a fortune designing stuff like this. And if I am on your team, you are guaranteed to win" Dad suggested.

The boys smiled and nodded, "fine with me" Chase agreed.

"Why not" Leo agree and dad smiled even more.

"Yes! I love robot competitions. They really bring out my inner geek" Dad said and I giggled.

"Inner geek" I said and he glared at me.

"Wow, so there's an inner one, too?" Leo asked and dad nodded.

"Well you guys have fun, I'm going back up" I said.

I gave Chase a quick kiss on the lips before leaving the lab to head upstairs.

Once I got there I frowned and groaned when I saw Bree and Caitlin on the couch.

"Hey Bree" I said with a smile.

"Oh, hey Luna" Bree said.

I sat down next to Bree while Caitlin continued looking around for something or someone.

Bree tilted her head and groaned in annoyance.

"Caitlin, this is so boring. Wouldn't you rather go to a movie?" Bree asked.

"No" Caitlin denied.

"Yogurt shop?"

"No."

"Buy matching pink cars and race across the country?"

"No."

"Just go somewhere so you can leave this house" I complained, causing Bree to giggle and Caitlin to glare at me.

I glared back while crossing my arms.

"Okay, Caitlin, what is going on with you? All you ever want to do is hang out in my living room" Bree said as she stood up.

"I'd rather have you just leave and never come back" I muttered under my breath.

"I guess I should tell you" Caitlin said as she sighed.

"The reason I always want to hang at your house is because I kind of have a crush on Adam" Caitlin admitted.

My eyes went wide and I got off of the couch.

"Excuse me what?" I asked in shock.

"Adam who? Wait, wait, my brother Adam?" Bree asked and Caitlin nodded.

"Ew, Caitlin, no" Bree complained and I rolled my eyes.

"Oh come on, he's not that bad, sure he's weird and makes poor choices, but overall he's still a nice guy" I said and Caitlin nodded.

"Why not? Compared to my last two boyfriends, he's an upgrade. For starters, he's real" Caitlin said.

"As if we'd expect someone like you to get a real boyfriend" I mocked, causing Bree to giggle and for Caitlin to glare at me.

"Okay, first off, Adam's not here. And second, the whole thing is weirding me out" Bree said.

"You're telling me" I said with a nod.

"Let's just go to the mall" Bree suggested.

"Will Adam be there?" Caitlin asked and we both groaned in annoyance.

"I'm joking. Sort of. I'm not" Caitlin said and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, you two have fun, I'm going to check up on my dad, Leo and Chase" I said as I walked away to get back down to the lab.

I walked into the elevator and it took me down to the lab.

When I got out I saw Chase and Leo walking and I followed behind them.

My eyes went wide, along with them, when we saw dad crushing their robot.

"Hey!" Leo yelled as we all ran over to him.

"What did you do?" I asked in shock.

"You completely destroyed our robot!" Leo said in disbelief.

"That's not true" Dad said before grabbing a hammer and used it to smash their robot.

"Now it's true" Dad said and I glared at him.

"I'm stripping it for parts because there were some major design flaws" Dad said.

"Like what?" Chase asked as he wrapped one arm around my waist.

"Well, for starters it smashes way too easily. Watch" Dad said before he once again smashed their robot with the hammer.

"See?" Dad said and we glared at him.

"Dad you can't do that, that's their robot, they worked hard on it" I said and they nodded.

"Yeah, I can't believe you would do that" Chase said in annoyance.

"Guys, I'm just trying to help you build a better robot. I mean, after all, I am a scientific genius. I'm a legendary thinker. I'm a man with hair that just won't quit" Dad said with a smile.

"We don't want you hijacking our team" Chase said and dad sighed.

"Look, guys, you know how I work. I don't like sharing the spotlight. I don't like listening to others. I'm a maverick!" Dad said with a smile and I slightly giggled.

"We've noticed. That's why we're kicking you off our team, maverick" Leo said as he glared at dad.

Dad chuckled before looking at his facial expression and realized he wasn't joking.

"What? You, you're serious?" Dad asked and the boys nodded and dad looked sad and I felt bad, but that's what he gets when he destroys their robot.

"Okay. Fine" Dad said with a sad sigh.

He walked away before grabbing the hammer and started smashing the robot even more.

"Stop! No! No!" Leo yelled.

Dad stopped and walked away and I sighed.

I smiled and kissed Chase on the cheek and patted Leo's shoulder.

"No worries guys, now you'll be able to create a new robot" I said.

The both of them smiled and nodded but part of me knew dad was going to do something to get them back.

The Next Day

Today was the day of the robot fight club.

Chase and Leo spent almost all day making a new robot and I helped as best as I could.

I quickly showered before getting changed.

We made it to the competition in time and there were already a lot of people.

Chase and Leo walked away to get to their position in the arena while I stayed behind the fence on their side.

I mentally gagged when I noticed the Kevin Stone kid checking me out.

'I wonder if I can punch him and blame it on someone else' I thought with a small smirk.

"Next up, the competitor who's taken home the robot throwdown trophy five years and running. Kevin Stone, and his robot, the Merchant of Menace!" the announcer said.

Everyone started clapping and cheering.

"Yeah!" Kevin cheered and I rolled my eyes.

"And finally, competing together for the first time, Leo Dooley, Chase Davenport, and their robot, Josh" the announcer said.

Everyone stopped cheering and clapping and started whispering to each other, most likely because of the robot name.

"Josh?" the announcer asked.

"I didn't know the name was supposed to be scary" Chase defended.

"The name is supposed to be scary" Leo said and I giggled.

"Okay, let's get started-- Hold on" the announcer said as some other guy walked up to him and passed him a note.

"We have one more contestant. And he's asked us to turn down the lights" the announcer said as the lights went off.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for the mechanic who makes them panic, the robot freak of Mission Creek, the inventor with the splen-- Okay, I ain't reading all these" the announcer said in annoyance and I giggled.

"Here he is, Donald Davenport!" the announcer said and all of a sudden music came on.

"Is that--" Chase started.

"It can't be!" Leo said.

"It is" the both of them said together.

Dad walked into the arena with a big smile on his face and took the microphone away from the announcer.

"Hey there, guys. Sorry I'm late. But I was really busy building this!" Dad announced with a smile.

He walked over to a table and removed a black sheet to reveal a gigantic robot with claws.

The audience gasped and clapped for him while Chase and Leo stared at it in shock.

"Behold the predaraptor! Complete with hydraulic jaws of death! Boom!" Dad announced as he laughed.

"If you are pregnant, elderly, have a heart condition, or under the age of 13, you should probably go home now!" Dad announced and the crowd cheered louder.

"Bet you wish we had the flamethrowers now" Leo said and Chase nodded.

The competition hasn't started yet so Chase and Leo were taking the time they had to make sure their robot was fine before starting.

Dad walked up to us with two shirts in his hands.

"Hey, guys. Hey, I got you something so you will never forget your first robot throwdown" Dad said as he showed them black shirts with silver writing on the front.

"I got crushed by the Davenport Predaraptor?" Leo asked.

"Not available in stores!" Dad yelled with a smile as he tossed the shirts to them and walked away.

Leo walked away to use the bathroom before the competition starts.

Chase immediately grabbed my arm and pulled me into a kiss.

I smiled and kissed back as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he held my hips with his hands.

He deepened the kiss and I let out a small moan.

I didn't want anyone to hear me since that would be embarrassing.

We pulled away and smiled at each other.

"I love you" I said.

"I love you too" Chase said as he kissed my forehead and I smiled.

Leo walked back to us and him and Chase took their position.

The first two rounds dad defeated those other players really good and I felt bad for them since they really wanted to win.

A few more round later and the last three still standing were Kevin, Dad and of course Leo and Chase.

They were on break before the next round.

The guys were fixing some things when dad walked up to them and smiled.

"Hey, guys. I really hope you beat him" Dad said and I smiled.

"You do?" Chase asked and dad nodded.

"Yes. So I can destroy you in the finals! Ha ha!. You're going down, you're going down. You're going down, down, down, down" Dad sang as he walked away.

"Should've seen that coming" I said and they nodded.

After a few more minutes it was time for the next round.

"And now it's time for our second semifinal match. The winner will advance to the finals and take on Donald Davenport and his Predaraptor" the announcer said.

Dad walked up the top and smiled.

"That's me, everybody. The T-shirt guy. So..." Dad said with a smile.

Everyone started booing him and threw his t-shirts at him and I giggled.

"Robots, take you starting positions, please" the announcer said.

I gave Chase a kiss on the lips and smiled, "go get em bubba" I said and he smiled.

"Of course sweetheart" Chase said before turning his attention to the arena and his and Leo's robot.

Soon Kevin's robot and the guys robot began attacking each other.

Kevin's robot was winning at first since it was bigger then Josh, but I was confident that the guys were going to win.

"Come on, come on, come on" I muttered under my breath.

Chase took the chance he had and attacked Kevin's robot and grabbed it and dropped it to the ground.

"Five time champ, Kevin Stone, is out!" the announcer said and everyone cheered and clapped.

I cheered so loud that I may have broken everyone's eardrums but I don't care.

My boyfriend and best friend won and that weird jerk lost.

The guys cheered and hugged each other.

Once they pulled away I jumped onto Chase and hugged him as tight as I could, I heard him chuckle and hug me back.

We pulled away and held hands as we walked into the arena where Kevin was.

"Hi. Um, good match, Kevin. You are a worthy opponent, and, uh, a strong adversary" Leo said and Kevin glared at him.

"Because I consider myself a good sportsman, I'll wait until after you leave the arena to laugh, point, and gloat" Leo said.

" But I won't! You lost!" Chase cheered and I smirked.

"We won! You lost!" the both of them cheered.

"We won" Chase cheered.

"That robot" Leo said.

Kevin groaned in complete anger before walking off and I giggled.

'Who's the loser now?'

A few more minutes later and it was time for the final round.

Dad vs Leo and Chase. 

Let's see how this goes.

"Gentlemen, take your starting positions. It's time for robot throwdown! And hurry this up. I gotta get this suit back to the funeral home" the announcer said to the guys.

"Ha ha ha ha ha!" Dad laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"You guys got this, win this and prove to him you're better then him" I said and the guys nodded.

Soon the round started and their robots started fighting each other.

It was fair to say that in the beginning dad was winning because his robot was bigger then theirs and it had fucking claws.

"I wish you guys had built a better robot, so your pain would last longer!" Dad yelled and laughed.

I glared at him and huffed.

Leo then turned to Chase with a look of determination on his face.

"Let's do this" Leo said and Chase nodded.

I was confused, that was until I saw Chase press a button and a metal plate came down in front of the robot.

Dad's robot charged at theirs but it ended up sliding over it and crashed onto the floor.

"No!" Dad yelled in disbelief and I smirked.

"It's all over! Josh takes the trophy! The robot with the stupid name wins!" the announcer said and everyone cheered.

Leo and Chase hugged each other while I clapped for them.

I knew they would win.

The three of us entered the arena along with dad.

"Yeah! Where's your T-shirt now?" Chase mocked.

"Oh, ha ha, very funny. Very impressive, guys. How'd you figure that out?" Dad asked impressed.

"The principles of aikido. We used your own momentum and force against you" Chase said and I nodded.

"So the students school the teacher. Very well played" Dad said with a nod.

"Thank you. It takes a big man to say that" Chase said.

"But apparently, a little man can too" Leo mocked and I giggled.

"You do realize you're shorter than me, right?" Dad asked, clearly confused.

"He just went down. You just went down" both of then cheered as they started dancing while dad rolled his eyes and I giggled.

Soon dad and Leo left the arena, along with everyone else.

Before I knew it Chase grabbed my arm and pulled me into a passionate kiss.

I smiled and cupped his face with my hands as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

He deepened the kiss and I moaned.

Gosh this boy is amazing.

We pulled away and smiled at each other.

"Congrats bubba" I said.

"Thank you sweetheart" Chase said as he kissed my nose, making me giggle.

"Come on, let's catch up with the others" I suggested and he nodded.

We held hands and walked away to catch up with the others and drive home.

The Next Day

The next day at school I was standing near Bree while she sat on the bench.

Soon Adam walked over to us and sighed, "so, I think I finally got Caitlin off my back" Adam said with a smile.

"How'd you do that? With a tranquilizer gun and a crowbar?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Nope. I just helped her realize who her real true crush is" Adam said and I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Who?" Bree asked.

Soon we heard someone groaning, we turned around and saw Chase walking into the school with Caitlin following behind him.

"Leave me alone!" Chase yelled.

"Don't resist me, bookworm!" Caitlin yelled back.

I glared at Adam, "are you kidding me?" I asked in annoyance and he smiled nervously at me.

"Bye!" Adam yelled before running away.

Smart move Adam, smart move.

"Sweetheart, help me" Chase said as he walked over to me and stood next to me.

I smiled and wrapped my arm around his waist and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"Caitlin, can you stop chasing him, he doesn't like you" I said, trying to be polite.

"Yes he does, Adam said so himself" Caitlin argued and I glared at her.

"Chase is my boyfriend, he doesn't like you" I said and Chase nodded.

"Yeah, I have eyes for my beautiful lady and her only" Chase said and I smiled.

"Wait, you guys are dating? For how long?" Caitlin asked, really confused yet shocked.

"Nearly two years" I said and Chase nodded.

"Yeah, everyone already knows we're a couple" Chase said.

"And our second year anniversary is coming up too" I said, making Chase smile as he placed a kiss on my cheek.

Yeah, our second year anniversary is a in a few weeks, I can't wait.

We didn't do much for our one year anniversary, other than watch movies, eat snacks and had a few make out sessions.

But for our second year anniversary, it's just going to be me and him and we're going to have fun together.

"Really?" Caitlin asked and we nodded once again.

"Yes, now do yourself a favor and leave my boyfriend alone" I said in complete annoyance.

"Fine, but if you guys don't work out call me" Caitlin said to Chase before running away.

I glared at her and scoffed, "she's lucky I didn't punch her and send her to the nurse" I said, making Chase and Bree laugh.

"Relax Luna, Chase would never leave you" Bree said.

"Yeah, never in a million years" Chase said and I smiled.

I kissed his cheek and this time he smiled.

"I love you bubba" I said.

"I love you too sweetheart" Chase said.

The bell rang and it was time for our next class.

Bree walked away while me and Chase walked away to head to our next class together.
