Luna's Pov

Me, the trio and Leo were all in the lab looking at dad's new motorcycle.

Soon dad walked in wearing a motorcycle outfit to go with the actual motorcycle.

"So, what do you think?" Dad asked.

"I think you're begging for a gang of bikers to do rotten things to you" Chase said and I giggled.

"Are those my pants?" Bree asked in shock.

" Not anymore" Dad grinned while Bree glared at him.

"I call her the "Daven-cycle". She's got auto-pilot, laser-guided weapon systems, and a tiny little flower vase" Dad said as he took out a flower and puts it into the flower vase that's on the motorcycle.

"To brighten your day" Dad smiled.

"That's cute" I said.

"Whoa, cool. Throw in a tiny basket for Chase to ride in and we're good to go" Adam joked.

Chase glared at him while I rolled my eyes.

Soon we heard noises from behind us and we all turned around to see what was going on.

Then my eyes widened as the big screen turned on and revealed who was talking to us.

It was Douglas.

"Hello? Anybody home?" Douglas asked while waving.

"He hacked you again? Would it kill you to spend forty bucks on some security software?" Leo asked dad.

Dad just scoffed before turning to Douglas with a glare on his face.

"Love the new lab, Donny. Ooh, tunnels!" Douglas chuckles.

"Industrial, yet classy" Douglas grinned.

"Take a hint, ex-brother" Dad said and I nodded.

"Yeah. There's a reason why none of us accepted your buddy requests" I said while crossing my arms.

"Oh, I accepted it" Adam said, earning glares from all of us.

"What? His updates are hilarious. Looking forward to a weekend of evil, winky-face" Adam said as he winked.

"Listen, I don't have a lot of time. Krane'll be back soon. He... went out to get his head waxed" Douglas said.

I scoffed as I laid my head on Chase's shoulder.

"Fascinating. You know what? It might sound like I'm hanging up" Dad said as he went to end the call but Douglas stopped him.

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait! This isn't another trick! You're in danger. Krane has completely lost it!" Douglas said.

"Oh, wow! So, the guy who keeps implanting himself with bionics is unstable? Who could have seen that coming?" Chase sarcastically said.

"I'm serious! Krane is using my technology to give himself new abilities I didn't even know were possible! He's a ticking time-bomb, and he sees you three as a threat!" Douglas explained.

I furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion.

"Hey! What about me?! I'm dangerous" Leo said as he got into a fighting stance.

"Yeah, there's always a chance you might faint on somebody" Douglas joked.

I snorted before glaring at him.

"And what about me? I can kick anyone's ass in a minute, including yours" I scoffed.

"Trust me, I believe that" Douglas said.

"Look, Adam, Bree, Chase, Luna... and Leo, can handle anything" Dad said.

We all let out small laughs while Leo glared at dad.

"And after all you've done to this family, why should we trust you?" Dad asked.

"Well, I... give me a minute" Douglas said.

"Take all the time you want" Dad said.

"Oh, thanks. I--" Douglas started but got cut off by me pressing the button that ended the call.

"Douglas is up to something. He's obviously trying to distract us with this Krane guy" Dad said.

"Well, maybe so, but what if he's telling the truth?" Chase asked.

"Yeah. We've seen Krane face-to-face. He is a total creep" Bree said and Adam nodded.

"Yeah. Nice eyes, though" Adam said and we all gave him 'really' looks.

"Trust me, this is exactly what Douglas wants. Don't fall for his trap. My brother is the real threat" Dad said.

We all just nodded while I sighed.

If Douglas is telling the truth about this Krane guy then we have to watch our backs more often.

The Next Day
At School

I was at school and so far classes were good.

I was walking in the hallway looking at my phone.

I've been texting Adam, Bree and Chase but they haven't been asnwering.

And they aren't at school either.

Which is weird because I'm dating Chase and he's always telling us that school is important and that we should take it seriously and arrive early.

Yet, he ain't here.

I saw Leo by his locker and walked over to him.

"Hey Leo, have you seen the trio?" I asked.

"No, I haven't seen them all day" Leo said.

"Strange. I mean I would expect Adam and Bree to be late, but Chase is never late to school" I said.

"Don't think much of it, maybe it's a mission or something" Leo said.

"Yeah I guess" I sighed.

Soon the bell rang and it was time for our next class.

"Come on, we gotta go" Leo said and I nodded.

Leo closes his locker while I put my phone in my pocket.

Soon I hear Leo let out a high-pitched shriek.

"Leo!" I yelled as I ran over to him.

My eyes widened when I see Douglas standing in front of us.

"I mean...Aah!" Leo yelled as he got into a fighting stance.

I rolled my eyes at him while Douglas sighed.

"Relax" Douglas said.

"I am relaxed, I'm very relaxed! Let's do this, Spiky! Let's get real!" Leo yelled.

He then tried punching Douglas but he easily blocked his attacks.

"You done?" Douglas asked.

"Oh. Giving up, I see" Leo said.

Douglas rolled his eyes while I scoffed and pushed Leo behind me.

I gave Douglas my deadly glare, causing him to take a few steps back.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You're smart Leo and Luna. You two knew about me and Marcus before anybody else. So you, have to believe me about Krane!" Douglas said.

Me and Leo looked at each other before looking back at him.

"All right. Talk" Leo said and I nodded.

"Krane and I used to be on the same page; Get my kids back, use 'em to rob banks, pull scams, you know, garden variety bad guy stuff" Douglas said.

Loe nodded while I scoffed.

"But I was never gonna hurt them" Douglas said.

"Marcus tried to kill me!" Leo yelled.

"He nearly killed me too asshole!" I yelled.

"I said them!" Douglas defended as me and Leo glared at him.

"Listen, Krane is completely out of control. He's got a serious score to settle with the world and now he has the bionics to do it" Douglas explained.

"Why does he want Adam, Bree and Chase?" Leo asked.

"He doesn't want them, he wants to destroy them. They're the only ones who can stand in his way" Douglas said.

"Wait, what about me? I'm bionic too, doesn't he want to destroy me too?" I asked.

"Look, for some weird reason he doesn't want to destroy you. He seems to have an interest in you that I can't figure out what or why" Douglas said.

He sighed before giving us a serious look.

"Look, I'm scared Leo and Luna, and you should be, too" Douglas said before taking out his phone from his pocket.

"Watch this" Douglas said as he pulls up a a video.

But all we hear is party music.

"Oh, sorry. That's my 40th birthday party. We had a burger truck" Douglas grinned.

"Stop it" Leo sarcastically said.

"Can you just show us the damn video before I punch you" I said in annoyance.

He quickly nodded as he pulled up another video from his phone.

"This is it" Douglas said as he pressed play.

Mine and Leo's eyes widened at what we were seeing.

Krane was screaming as his hands were up in the air as there were some sort of fire around his hands.

"Yeah, that dude's no joke" Leo said and I nodded.

Douglas nodded as he put his phone back in his pocket and I sighed.

"So, what are we supposed to do?" I asked.

"Talk to my brother. He'll believe the both of you" Douglas said.

"He'd believe you more Luna because you're his daughter and he loves you more then anything" Douglas said.

I gave him a small smile and nodded.

"I gotta get back before Krane blows a gasket. Literally. He has one right under here" Douglas said as he points to his shoulder before leaving.

Me and Leo looked at each other and nodded.

I took out my phone and immediately went to contacts.

I pressed on dad's contact as I watied for him to answer my call but it went straight to voicemail.

I sighed in annoyance and just decided to leave him a message.

"Hey dad, it's me Luna. Look Douglas just came by to talk to me and Leo at school, and as much as I hate saying this I think he was right about Krane. He seems really dangerous and we need to be careful around him. Please get back to me as soon as you can, I love you" I sighed before hanging up.

"What are we going to do? If Douglas was telling the truth about Krane then we're in trouble. What if he's too strong and Adam, Bree and Chase won't be able to defeat him" Leo said.

I sighed and ran my hands through my hair.

"I don't know, but it doesn't matter because we'll get through this together. This Krane person isn't going to win" I reassured him.

"Leo, Luna!"

We turned around to see Tasha walking inside.

"Mom?" Leo asked as we walked over to her.

"Tasha, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Donald wants you two home from school right now. With Douglas and Krane still out there it's not safe, so come on" Tasha said.

We both nodded as we followed her and left the school.

Honestly I'd rather be home today because I was not ready for my algebra test today.

I picked up the pace faster then them when I realized that I could just geo-leap us home.

Then I heard a thump from behind me.

I turned around only for my eyes to widened when I saw Leo and Tasha knocked out on the ground.

"Tasha! Leo!" I yelled as I quickly ran over to them.

Before I could even get close to them a hand was soon covering my mouth.

I screamed and tried shoving it off but they were too strong.

Before I could even geo-leap myself out of their arms they had hit me over the head with something.

I groaned in pain and fell to the ground 

"Night night, Luna" a very deep and angry voice said to me.

I couldn't see who it was because I was already closing my eyes and once they were fully closed I lost consciousness.

Back At Home
Chase's Pov

We were all still stuck in the lab and it was boring.

I was getting worried because Tasha still hadn't returned with Leo and Luna.

I know that Luna can take care of herself but I wish I could've been at school with her and protected her more.

Right now I was reading a book while Adam was throwing stuff at the fence Mr. Davenport made.

Adam took off his shoe and throws it at the fence, which deflects it and the shoe bounces off.

"Oh-hoho! Awesome! Uh, let's see, what else I can throw?" Adam questioned.

I didn't even need to see him to know that he was looking at me with a smile.

"Don't even think about it" I said to him without looking up from my book.

Soon Mr. Davenport walked in with a worried look on his face.

"Something's wrong. Leo and Luna just left a message that Douglas showed up at school, and now I can't find him, her or Tasha" Mr. Davenport said.

"What?" I asked in worry as I closed my book and got up.

Why would Douglas show up at school?

I swear if Leo, Tasha or Luna are hurt I will find Douglas and Krane and end them.

"Oh, well I'm sure we'll find them if you keep us locked down here in the basement" Bree sarcastically said.

Soon the big screen in the lab turned on.

We all looked at it only to see Leo and Tasha tied up in some sort of warehouse.

"Help!" Tasha and Leo yelled.

"Can anybody hear us?!" Tasha asked.

"Help us!" Leo yelled.

"I knew it! Douglas has them!" Mr. Davenport said through gritted teeth.

Then our eyes widened when Krane came into view smirking.

"Guess again" Krane said.

We all glared at him before I turned to Tasha and Leo.

"Guys! Don't worry. We'll get you out of there" I reassured them.

"Chase, don't make promises you can't keep!" Adam said, making me glare at him.

"So you're Victor Krane. Love the face. Do you get all the premium channels on that thing, or...?" Mr. Davenport asked.

Krane just ignored what he said.

"Enough. Hand over the bionic kids" Krane said while looking at me and my siblings.

"Not gonna happen" Mr. Davenport scoffed.

"This isn't a game. I've sent you my coordinates. They have ten minutes to get here, or I downsize your family" Krane threatened.

"Hey wait, where's Luna?" Bree asked.

I looked around to see that Luna wasn't there.

"Oh don't worry, she's right here" Krane smirked.

He turned the camera and my eyes widened in fear when I saw Luna knocked out and handcuffed to a chair.

I growled and clenched my fist in anger.

My girlfriend, brother and step-mother are in trouble and I can't do anything to help.

"Krane, I swear if you hurt my daughter" Mr. Davenport growled at him.

"Oh don't worry, I won't hurt her. She's still important to me so she'll be just fine. But if you don't hand over the bionic kids, your wife and step-son won't live to see another day" Krane smirked.

He then turned around and walked over to Tasha and Leo.

"Donald!" Tasha yelled in worry.

Soon the screen turned off as I quickly ran over to the cyberdesk and grabbed the tablet.

"I got him! He's at the corner of Prescott and Maple" I said.

"Ooh, nice neighborhood. Crime does pay" Adam said.

"Let's go!" Bree yelled as we were about to run to our capsules but Mr. Davenport stopped us.

"No. There's too many unknowns with this Krane guy. This one I do alone" Mr. Davenport said.

Me and Bree gave him a 'seriously' look while Adam stifled a laugh.

"You?!" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes me!" Mr. Davenport said in an offended tone.

"Aww, it's so cute when he gets all macho!" Adam grinned, causing Mr. Davenport to glare at him.

"Okay, no offense, but, if this guy's too dangerous for us, then how are you gonna beat him?" I asked.

"With this" Mr. Davenport said as he held out his wrist to revealing a steel weapon.

Then his steel weapon extends itself so now it's bigger then before.

"My thermal blaster. Trust me, you do not wanna be on the wrong end of this baby" Mr. Davenport said.

Then he looked at it weirdly before turning it around.

"This is the most powerful weapon I've ever created. It's like carrying around a lightning bolt. It will fry Krane's circuits for good" Mr. Davenport explained.

"Or you can wear your motorcycle outfit and he'll die of laughter" Adam chuckled.

"Look, Mr. Davenport, you can't go alone. Krane is a powerhouse. He's the toughest enemy we've ever faced!" I said and Bree nodded.

"And without my speed, you'll never make it!" Bree said.

"My DavenCycle will get me there in plenty of time. I'll have Leo, Luna and Tasha home by dinner!" Mr. Davenport said.

"Okay... But if you're not back by 6:30, we're eating without you" Adam said.

Mr. Davenport just rolled his eyes and left, leaving us stuck in the lab.

I swear if he hurts Luna, I will not hesitate to break this stupid fence myself so I can go after him.

At The Warehouse
Luna's Pov

I groaned in pain as I felt myself slowly regaining consciousness.

I slowly picked up my head only to see that I was in some sort of warehouse.

I then soon realized that I was handcuffed to a chair.

I tried getting out but I couldn't.

"Oh, look who's finally awake" I heard the same deep voice from when I got knocked out.

I looked up to see a man wearing all black as he held both Tasha and Leo by their arms, and he head some weird stuff on his face.

Well shit, this must be Krane.

"Luna, thank goodness you're ok" Tasha said.

"I'm fine Tasha, don't worry" I reassured her.

Krane soon started leading Tasha and Leo into some box nearby.

"You know, I am a fairly well-known TV personality, and this could bring a lotta heat in your way" Tasha said while glaring at him.

"I've seen your reporting. I'm doing the world a favor!" Krane growled at her.

I snorted while Tasha turned around and gave me a 'really' look.

"I'm sorry but that was funny" I defended.

Soon Krane pushes Tasha inside the box.

"Hey! If you hurt my family, I will hunt you down, so you better take me out, too" Leo said.

"All right" Krane said as he cracked his knuckles.

Leo's eyes widened in fear, "box it is" Leo squealed as he got inside the box himself.

"Sweetie, you gotta stop talking!" Tasha said and I nodded.

Soon Krane closed the door and I glared at him.

"Hey asshole!" I yelled at him, causing him to turn to me.

"You have me, I'm bionic too just like Adam, Bree and Chase. Just let them go and destroy me instead, they have nothing to do with any of this" I yelled at him.

Krane chuckles darkly at me before shaking his head.

"Tempting, but no chance. You're important to me so I need you alive" Krane said.

"Why? Huh, why am I important to you? What am I to you?" I asked in annoyance.

"You'll find out soon" Krane said.

I growled and tried geo-leaping but nothing worked.

"Don't even try to use your bionics, those handcuffs disable them so there's no way for you to get out" Krane said.

I let out a frustrated sigh as Krane walked back over to Tasha and Leo.

"Adam, Bree and Chase will be here any minute, and they will take care of you!" Tasha yelled in anger as Leo nodded.

Krane growled and glared at them.

"No, they won't. Your egocentric husband will try to be a hero and play right into my hands" Krane growled.

Soon the door opens and of course, we see dad.

"Haha!" Dad yelled before the door closed on him.

I really wanted to laugh but considering the situaton we're in, now's not the time.

Dad opens the door again and enters.

"Sorry I'm late!" Dad said.

"No" Krane said with an evil chuckle.

"You're right on time!" Krane smirked.

Dad shoots soom sort of energy at Krane. 

But then Krane holds out his hand to block the blaster and starts to absorb its energy.

"What's happening?!" Leo asked.

"I don't know how he's doing it, but he's draining all the power from my blaster!" Dad said.

Krane laughs maniacally as he finishes draining the blaster of its energy.

"Okay, well that was the main thrust of my plan" Dad said before getting into a fighting stance.

"I guess it's gonna be hand-to-hand combat" Dad said.

"And we're doomed" Leo sighed.

"Damn right" I sighed while shaking his head.

Krane walks toward dad and attacks him but dad manages to block it, but Krane uses his bionics to weaken him.

"You blocked me outta the lab with your little security fence. Turn it off" Krane said.

"Never!" Dad yelled.

Krane growls and knocks dad down to the ground.

"I figured you'd say that, so I'm gonna give you a choice. Adam, Bree and Chase..." Krane said before looking at Tasha and Leo.

"Or them. It's up to you" Krane said. 

"I'll never make that choice" Dad said.

"How 'bout now?" Krane asked as he took out a remote.

Soon he pressed a button on the remote as the metal box powers up and a red light appears inside the box.

"What is that?" Tasha asked.

"An exothermic energy field. It's like a microwave. Good for chicken" Krane said in normal voice before going back to glaring.

"Bad for humans. They should be well-done in about... six minutes" Krane said.

My eyes widened as I see Tasha and Leo panicking and slowly getting sweaty and hot.

"Look, just let them go. Take me instead" Dad said.

"Well, that wouldn't be as much fun" Krane said while letting out an evil chuckle.

"But you can stop this. All you gotta do is turn off the security perimeter. Tick-tock" Krane said.

The box continues heating up as I see dad sturggling to make a decision while I still struggle to get these stupid cuffs off my hands.

The box continues to heat up as Tasha and Leo are struggling to stand or keep their eyes open as they continue to sweat.

I gritted my teeth in anger as I tried moving around in this damn chair but nothing.

"Donald! Do something!" Tasha yelled.

"Stop! They have nothing to do with it!" Dad yelled.

"And yet, they seem to have everything to do with it" Krane said.

"Don't give in, Big D! We can take it!" Leo yelled.

Krane turned to him and smirked.

"Really?!" Krane asked.

He then presses a button that turns up the heat even more then before.

"Oh yeah! Okay, that burns! Yeah!" Leo yelled as he started to take off his jacket.

"Stop talking to him!" Tasha snapped at him.

"Leo shut up or I will kill you myself" I growled at him.

"You're running out of time" Krane said.

"Just stop!" Dad yelled in anger and frustration.

He went to grab the remote from him but Krane easily sent dad down to his knees as dad was struggling.

"I thought you were smarter than this. You will never beat me. Give me Adam, Bree and Chase or you will lose everything" Krane growled.

"Dad!" I yelled in fear.

Then before anything else could happen dad's wrist remote beeps.

Krane lets him go as dad gets up and starts tapping his thing.

"What's that?" Krane asked.

"Nothing, my fantasy football team is winning" Dad quickly lied as he continued tapping.

"Lab security perimeter disengaged."

"Why'd you turn it off?" me and Leo asked.

"I didn't!" Dad said but this just made Krane laugh evilly.

"It's okay, I can re-arm it from here" Dad said.

"Too late!" Krane yelled before geo-leaping away.

"He can geo-leap?! I haven't even cracked that yet!" Dad groaned in annoyance.

"You know what? I'd love to help you with that if my brain cells weren't boiling!!!" Leo yelled in anger as Tasha nodded.

"And I would love to get out of this damn chair too!" I yelled.

Dad nods as he walks towards the box and tries looking around for something or trying to think of something to get them out of the box.

"Get us out of here!" Leo yelled.

"I can't use my thermal blaster 'cause Krane drained all the power out of it!" Dad said as he walked over and started searching the table.

"What kind of evil villain's lair doesn't have a large device for cutting metal?" Dad asked in frustration.

"Just do something! I can't take much more!" Tasha yelled as she started fanning herself.

"Dad hurry and do something, please!" I yelled.

"I'm working on it pumpkin" Dad said as he continued looking around or tried coming up with a plan.

"Wait! This lab must be tied to a huge power source. Can't you patch that in to the thermal blaster?" Leo asked.

"Yes! And if I reverse the polarity, it'll pull the heat from the cube and burn a hole in the door!" Dad nodded.

"Hold the fuck up, is that safe?" I asked and Tasha nodded.

"I don't know, maybe we should consult the manual before we rush in anything" Dad sarcastically said.

"If I weren't handcuffed to a damn chair I would be beating your ass right now" I scoffed at him.

"Just do it!!!" Leo yelled in a high-pitched voice.

Dad nods as he quickly grabbed a wire that started tp spark as he placed it to his thermal blaster.

"Okay! Here goes" Dad said as Tasha and Leo backed away just a bit.

Dad soon starts to suck the heat out of the box which soon made a huge hole in the door. 

I smiled as Tasha and Leo quickly run out with huge smiles on their faces.

"Yes!"  Leo yelled.

All three of them smile and cheer and hug each other before dad started wincing in pain.

"Oh! Hot, hot, hot! You're burning me, you're burning me, you're burning me" Dad said as they were quick to get off of him.

He then startted fanning himself and then them before cheering once more.

"Uh...this is fun and all, but I'm still handcuffed to a damn chair" I said.

"Oh right" Dad said as they quickly ran over to me.

Dad tried getting them off of me but nothing worked, "ugh, I can't get them off" Dad groaned in annoyance.

"There should be a key here somewhere" I said.

They all started looking around before Tasha quickly ran over to the table.

"Here, here I got it" Tasha said as she quickly ran back and gave it to dad.

Dad quickly uncuffed me and I was soon free from the chair.

They all sighed in relief and hugged me really tight, making me hug them back as well.

"Come on, we need to get back home" I said and they all nodded as we ran out of the warehouse.

Back At Home
In The Lab

Once we made it back home I quickly grabbed onto all three of them and superspeeded us to the lab.

Once we got there we ran inside to see Douglas aiming some sort of cannon at Krane who was on the ground.

"Guys!" Dad yelled.

Since Douglas was distracted this gave Krane the chance to geo-leap away.

Douglas turned back around and let out a frustrated groan.

"Oh, no! You let him get away!" Douglas yelled at dad.

Dad glared at him and pointed his thermal blaster in front of him as Douglas dropped the cannon and put his hands up in surrender.

"Get out of my house!" Dad yelled as me, Leo and Tasha followed him.

To our shock Chase quickly came next to dad and defended Douglas.

"No! Mr. Davenport, it's okay! Douglas saved us from Krane!" Chase said and the other two nodded.

"Saved you? He's the reason we're having to fight Krane in the first place" Dad said.

Ok yeah, that is true.

"Don, I can explain!" Douglas said but dad shook his head.

"You're lucky I'm letting you go. Now get of here before I change my mind!" Dad yelled.

Douglas hesitates as we all gather around dad.

"Hey, if you're gonna blast him, can you get it over with? 'Cause this getting really uncomfortable!" Adam said.

I glared at him and smacked him upside the head.

Finally Douglas sighed and nodded as he quickly turned around and left the lab.

Dad sighed and put his hand down.

Chase immediately ran over to me and hugged me.

I smiled and hugged him back as I rested my head on his shoulder.

We pulled away from the hug as he gently cupped my face and searched me up and down for any injuries.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt? Did he hurt you?" Chase asked in worry.

I smiled and let out small giggle as I shook my head.

"Don't worry bubba, I'm fine. I was just handcuffed to a chair, nothing else" I reassured him.

He sighed in relief and nodded as he placed a kiss to my forehead before bringing me into another hug.

I smiled and hugged him back and resting my head back on his shoulder.

Being in the arms of my boyfriend after being kidnapped feels nice.

But one thing is still bothering me?

Why doesn't Krane want to get rid of me when I'm bionic just let Adam, Bree and Chase?

In what way am I special to him?
