Luna's Pov

I was in the lab with Leo because apparently he wanted to show off his new invention.

He wouldn't tell me what he made, all he said was sit back and watch.

Soon we heard footsteps and we see Adam walking into the lab.

Leo immediately smiles and gets out of his chair and walks over to him.

"Hey, Adam. Attack me" Leo said but Adam shook his head.

"Oh, no, no, no. I know how this works. First, you tell me to attack you, I say "no" and then you taunt me till I snap. It's not gonna happen" Adam said.

Then Leo picked up my water bottle and threw it at him.

"Oh, it's on, little man!" Adam yelled as he tried lunging towards him.

Then all of a sudden two floating orbs appear next to Leo and the next thing I know they shoot a laser at Adam who is falls to the ground.

"Oh, no! The Christmas ornaments are turning against us!" Adam said as he stood up from the ground.

"Nope, you just got pulse-waved by my latest invention, Attack Orbs" Leo grinned.

"Huh?" Adam asked in confusion.

"When they perceive a threat within five feet of me, they attack. They're mobile robotic bodyguards" Leo explained.

"Oooh, nice job Leo. That's impressive" I said and Adam nodded.

"Uh, impressive. But have you ever thought about just lifting weights or working out?" Adam joked.

Leo glared at him while I snorted.

"I designed them to protect you guys from Douglas and Krane" Leo said.

"Good call dooley" I nodded.

"Thanks Luna. If I'm going to be a true inventor, I have to start making things without Big D. And if I prove myself, maybe he'll eventually let me be his business partner" Leo explained.

Me and Adam nodded as Eddy appeared.

"Right, 'cause every billionaire needs an incompetent relative who brings nothing to the table" Eddy sarcastically said.

Soon he disappeared and Chase walked in.

"Speaking of..." Adam smirked.

"Hey guys" Chase said as he walked over to us.

"Chase, why are you attacking Leo?" Adam asked.

"What?" Chase asked in confusion.

Soon Adam pushed Chase in front of Leo as the orbs came back.

"Aah!" Chase yelled.

Then the orbs shoot lasers at him as he fell to the ground.

Adam and Leo laughed while I just rolled my eyes but slightly giggled.

"Awesome!" Adam grinned as he walked over to Leo and high-fived him

Then the orbs shot lasers at him, causing him to fall to the ground next to Chase.

"Idiot" I scoffed.

"Do it again!" Adam yelled.

Me and Leo laughed as he helped Adam off the ground and they both walked out of the lab.

I smiled and made my way over to Chase.

"Need some help bubba?" I asked.

"Yes please" Chase said.

I giggled and extended my hand for him and he took.

But then to my shock he pulled me down to the ground with him and switched our positions.

So, now I was laying on my back while he was on top of me.

"How the tables have turned, huh sweetheart?" Chase asked with a smirk.

I blushed and rolled my eyes.

"You're an evil little sneaker, you know that right?" I asked.

Chase chuckled and nodded.

"I know, but you love me" Chase said.

He then leaned down and pressed his lips onto mine, making me smile as I kissed him back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as he had both arms by my side to keep himself up.

I pulled him down closer and then he licked my bottom lip.

I let him in and moaned when he deepened the kiss.

Soon we pulled away to catch our breath.

We smiled at each other and pressed our foreheads against each others.

"I love you Chase" I smiled.

"I love you too Luna" Chase smiled.

The Next Day
At Tech Town

Both Bree and Chase wanted me to be here at Tech Town.

I didn't really wanna go, but for my boyfriend and my best friend I'll go.

So right now I'm standing near Bree and Chase when Scott walks up to htem.

"Well, if it isn't my employee of the week and my weak employee" Scott said as he smiled at Chase and laughed at Bree.

I'm this closer to punching that man in his face.

"Good one, Scott. It's funny because she's bad at her job. Ha!" Chase smirked.

"Yeah, well, I mean, I'd be better at it but I have things that get in the way like friends and a life" Bree shot back at him.

I giggled while Chase's smirk disappeared.

Scott walked over to the middle of the room and whistled, gaining everyone's attention.

I rolled my eyes as me and the Tech Town employees walked over to Scott.

"Listen up, guys. It's time for Tech Town's annual design-your-own-app contest!" Scott said.

"Does the fun ever end around here?" Bree sarcastically asked.

"Yeah, usually when you show up" Scott joked as he laughed.

Chase then tried copying his laugh but Scott shook his head at him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Don't do my laugh" Scott said and Chase stopped.

I giggled and laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around me.

"All entrants have 24 hours to upload their app to our website. Whoever has the most downloads by Friday wins a $500 gift card" Scott said as he put his leg on the counter and pulled out the gift card from his sock.

"And apply yourselves this year, I am so sick of winning" Scott said.

"Don't you worry, Scott. I'm definitely going to app-ply myself!" Chase said with a smile.

I giggled at his pun but Scott shook his head.

"Uh, no more tech puns. A lady complained to corporate" Scott said.

"That was me" I whispered to Bree, causing her to let out a small snort.

"Chase, no offense, but you're clearly out of your league. You're never gonna outshine the master" Scott said.

"The master? You clearly have no idea who you're dealing with" Chase scoffed.

"Ah, how could you turn on me like this? I was your idol" Scott said in a shocked yet hurt tone.

"Yeah. Well, now you're my competition" Chase said in confidence.

"Sounds like you're challenging me. And no one challenges me" Scott said as he glared at Chase.

"Except my mom. She's my ride" Scott said.

"And me" I added.

"And your girlfriend because she scares me" Scott said.

"She scares everyone" Bree said while giggling.

A Few Hours Later

Ok, as much as I love Chase and Bree I hate being at Tech Town.

Chase had left to make his new app while Bree and everyone else were playing Scott's new game.

Soon Chase walked in as he looked at everyone on their phones.

"Bree, sweetheart, what's going on?" Chase asked.

"Scott unveiled his app early" I said and Bree nodded.

"It's a game called Cavity Crushers. Super addictive. You saving the world by smashing evil candy" Bree smiled.

"Uh, the candy's not evil. It's just misunderstood" Scott said, making me roll my eyes at him.

"Who would ever want to play that stupid game?" Chase asked.

Soon a group of people start cheering, causing Bree to look at him with smirk.

"Apparently everybody" Bree said.

Chase huffed as he walked away and stood on top of a counter.

"Behold, my app, Structure Scan. You can scan any item, and it lists the elemental makeup of its molecular structure. Eh?" Chase explained as he held up a pen to his phone.

"This pen is 30% ink, 64% polymer, and 6% steel! Come on, people, how fun is that?" Chase asked with a smile.

Scott then let out a fake yawn.

"Attention, Cavity Crushers. I just unlocked a new level. Follow me. We're going to Lollipop Lane. Hoo-aah!" Scott grinned.

Chase got annoyed and got down from the counter.

"I don't get it" Chase said.

"Of course, you don't. See, these people are having what we call fun" Bree smirked at him.

"Well, structure scans can be fun" Chase defended.

"Oh, sure they can" Scott said as he took his tablet and fake scanned Chase.

"Oh, look. 100% loser" Scott smirked while laughing.

Everyone else, including Bree, started laughing while Chase looked annoyed yet hurt.

I growled, as I said before when I punched Tyler.

Nobody messes with my boyfriend and gets away with it.

So, going to do what I do best, I walked up to Scott and snatched his tablet and fake scanned him.

"Oh look, 100% thirty year old asshole that's single and always relys on his mother" I smirked.

Everyone else began laughing while Scott blushed in embarrassment.

I smirked and handed him back his tablet and walked back over to my grinning boyfriend.

"You're welcome" I said.

"And this is why I love you" Chase smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pecked me on the lips.

I giggled and kissed his forehead.

Back At Home

Finally we were back at home.

I was at the kitchen table doing my homework while Tasha was sitting on the couch helping Adam rehearse for his play tomorrow night.

Honestly I don't know why he needs to rehearse.

It's literally only one line.

"Ma'am, you're standing in it. No, wait. You're standing in it. You're standing in it!" Adam said in different voices.

Tasha just smiled at him and nodded nervously.

"What do you think? Did you feel like you were standing in it?" Adam asked.

"All 76 times. Honey, you're gonna be fine. It's just one line" Tasha said.

"Exactly" I nodded.

This just made Adam gasp.

"The most important one line of the whole play" Adam said, making me scoff.

"Without me, she never finds Mission Creek. It's the entire emotional thrust of the second act, Tasha" Adam said.

"It's one line for a stupid play you dumbass" I said while rolling my eyes.

Soon dad walked in.

"Hello" Dad smiled.

"Donald, don't forget the school play is tomorrow night" Tasha said and I nodded.

"Goodbye" Dad said as he tried leaving but Tasha quickly stood up and stopped him.

"You're going!" Tasha said, making dad turn around and groan.

"Ah, come on. Shouldn't we be discouraging his acting career?" Dad asked.

Soon Chase walked in while holding his phone.

"Okay, guys, prepared to be wowed! My new app: Dirt Alert! It tells you the precise type of rock or soil that's beneath you and how long it's been there" Chase explained.

That's not even a game.

"You want to try?" Chase asked.

Dad and Tasha looked at each other nervously before dad spoke up.

"Oh, I can't. I got to go pretend to care about his play" Dad said.

"Oh, uh, dinner needs to be made" Tasha said as she walked to the kitchen to get the plates and cups.

Chase sighed and walked away.

"Would you help me practice my line?" Adam asked while walking over to dad.

"And miss the thrill of seeing it live? Not a chance!" Dad said as he turned around to leave.

But to no avail since Adam followed him.

"Ma'am, you're standing in it. Ma'am...the door was standing in it" Adam said as he followed dad who had left the house and closed the door behind him.

I rolled my eyes and continued doing my homework.

Tasha walked over to where I was and started setting the table.

"How's the homework coming sweetie?" Tasha asked.

"It's alright, nearly done" I said.

She sent me a smile and nodded as she started placed the utensils on the table.

Soon Leo walked in.

"Hey, Mom" Leo said but Tasha walked over to him and by the looks of it she was mad.

"Don't "Hey, Mom" me, mister. I got a call from the school saying you tormented the gym teacher with some crazy devices" Tasha said in a stern tone.

Ooooh Leo, now you're going to face the wrath of your mother.

"What have I told you about taking things like that to school?" Tasha asked as she crossed her arms.

"Well, technically, I didn't take them to school" Leo said.

"Oh, so they just showed up on their own?" Tasha sarcastically asked.

"Exactly. We good here?" Leo asked as he tried walking away but Tasha stopped him.

"Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh. We're not finished" Tasha said.

Soon the orbs came out and stood next to Leo.

"No, no, no, no, no, no" Leo panicked.

"Are these the devices?" Tasha asked.

"Mom, stay 5 feet away from me" Leo said.

Is he trying to die?

"Excuse me, you do not tell me what to do. I will stand wherever--" Tasha started.

The orbs were about to fire at her but I quickly geo-leaped next to her and pushed her out of the way.

Soon the orbs shot the lasers at me and I was sent flying through the air.

"Ahhhh!" I yelled as my back hit the wall, really hard, and I fell to the ground.

"Luna!" Tasha and Leo yelled as they quickly ran over to me.

"Owww" I whimpered in pain.

"Sweetie are you ok?" Tasha asked as she crouched down next to me, along with Leo.

"Yeah...yeah I'm fine" I said.

"Does anything hurt?" Leo asked.

"Just my back and a little bit of my shoulder, other then that I'm fine" I said.

Both of them sighed in relief as they gently grabbed my arms and pulled me up.

They then guided me to the couch and gently sat me down.

"Sweetie thank you for saving me but why did you do that?" Tasha asked.

"Hey, I wasn't about to let you get hurt Tasha" I said with a soft smile.

She smiled at me and kissed my cheek before turing to Leo with a glare.

"What just happened?" Tasha asked.

"Okay, the orbs I invented that were about to aim at you but shot Luna across the room because they can't tell the difference between a real threat and a mom threat. Along with a Luna threat" Leo explained.

Me and Tasha glared at him and he quickly raised his hands up in surrender.

"I'm not saying you both aren't threatening. Trust me, you both are scary. Luna more then you mom" Leo said.

I scoffed while Tasha sighed and rolled her eyes.

"I want you to get rid of them. Now!" Tasha said.

Leo sighed and nodded.

"Good, can't have anyone else getting hurt by your orbs" I said while rubbing my shoulder.

Though, I have small feeling he won't get rid of them just yet.

The Next Day
Back At Tech Town

Once again, back at Tech Town.

Apparently Chase came up with a new app that is sure to help him win.

I'm not sure what it is since he didn't tell me.

Right now I'm standing next to Bree while Scott put his picture frame up on the wall.

"Ten minutes left to enter, and mine is the most downloaded app by far" Scott said.

"Aw, am I really gonna win again?" scott fake frowned.

"Okay, guess I am. Victory lap!" Scott yelled as he tried running but thankfully Bree stopped him.

"No! Please don't run. It's just awkward for all of us" Bree said and I nodded.

"Girls" Scott scoffed as he ran past us but met up with Chase.

"Hold it, Scott" Chase said as he stopped him from running before turning to everyone.

"Hello, everybody, I'm back" Chase grinned.

This just made everyone groan.

"No, no, no. I have a new app" Chase reassured them.

This just made everyone groan even more.

"Say hello to your new BFF, Cheddy. The virtual assistant who does everything" Chase smiled as he showed us his phone.

My eyes widened when I saw that it was Eddy, the only difference was that he was wearing a mustache.

"Hello, Cheddy. What's going on tonight?" Chase asked.

"Good evening, Chase. I've ordered your favorite pizza, got you VIP concert tickets, and completed all current homework assignments. Is there anything else, sir?" Cheddy asked.

"That'll be all, Cheddy. He's available for downloading now" Chase smiled.

Soon everyone took out their phones to download the app.

Me and Bree glared at him.

'Chase Davenport I'm going to kick your ass' I thought.

Me and Bree quickly walked over to him.

"Chase, what do you think you're doing? That is Mr. Davenport's technology" Bree said and I nodded.

"No, he created Eddy. This is Cheddy" Chase said.

"I don't ch-care, you ch-stole his ch-idea" Bree mocked while glaring at him.

"Bubba, you still stole his creation. Changing his name doesn't make a difference" I said and Bree nodded.

"Cheddy is the original version of Eddy, which was actually a very helpful program. It took him years to turn into the complete jerk we all know and loathe" Chase explained.

"It is still Eddy" I said.

"You're not listening, it's Cheddy!" Chase snapped at me.

I placed my hands on my hips and gave him a look that said 'did you seriously just snap at me?'.

His eyes widened when he realized what he did and smiled nervously at me while rubbing his neck.

"I...I...I mean, I love you" Chase nervously said.

I just rolled my eyes at him and crossed my arms while Bree giggled.

A Few Hours Later

Soon everyone in the store downloaded the 'Cheddy' app and they were all loving it a lot.

Chase was winning the competition, even though he did steal my dad's creation.

"Ha! My app is outselling Scott's ten to one" Chase grinned as he wrapped an arm around my waist.

"How does it feel to be related to the guy who's gonna win?" Chase asked.

"As embarrassing as ever" Bree smirked, making Chase glare at her.

"What are you so proud of? It's Mr. Davenport's creation" Bree said and I nodded.

"Bree, people in the tech world borrow ideas from one another all the time. I doubt he'd even care" Chase scoffed.

"Well, there he is. Why do you go ask him?" Bree smirked.

We turned around to see dad walking into the store and over to us and he looked really mad.

"Uh!" Chase yelled, clearly worried.

"Mr. Davenport? What are you doing here?" Chase asked.

"You're not gonna believe this, but someone stole Eddy and is selling him as Cheddy on the Tech Town website" Dad said in anger.

"Whaaaat? That's terrible" Chase said in a high-pitched voice.

"I know, it terrible" Dad said in the same high-pitched voice.

"You should go home and rest, I'll call the app police" Chase said.

"The app police, really?" I whispered to Bree who just shrugged while giggling.

Chase then tried dragging dad out of the store but dad stopped him.

"Oh, no, no. I'm not leaving until I find out who did it" Dad said as he walked over to a nearby counter and sat on top of it.

"You know what? Perhaps I should speak to a manager!" Dad suggested.

"Oh, no. There's no--" Chase started but Bree cut him off.

"I'll get him!" Bree cheerfully said.

She walked over to Scott who was talking to a customer but Bree didn't care as she grabbed his arm and dragged him over to us.

"May I help-- " Scott started but stopped when he saw dad.

"Oh, it's you" Scott sighed in annoyance.

Dad just nodded as he hopped off the counter.

"Mm-hmm, it's me and I have a problem with Cheddy" Dad said.

This made Scott smirk as he looked at Chase.

"Oh, hear that, Chase? He has a problem with your Cheddy app" Scott laughed.

"I'll let you handle this one. Hoo-ah!" Scott grinned as he did an air-kick before walking away.

Bree smiled while Chase sighed as dad glared at him.

"Chase, I am really disappointed in you. You stole Eddy" Dad said.

Chase was about to speak but Bree beat him to it.

"Oh, no, Mr. Daveport, you're not listening. It's Cheddy" Bree mocked while looking at Chase with a smirk.

Chase sighed while dad rolled his eyes and I laughed.

"Look, I know you're angry. But if you hadn't invented Eddy, then I couldn't have invented Cheddy, so in a way this is all on you" Chase tried defending himself.

Me and Bree gave him a 'really' look while dad glared at him.

"Taking credit for what isn't yours is wrong. Especially when what isn't yours, is mine!" Dad said while pointing to him.

"Yes. I know, but everybody loves Cheddy and if I tell them that it wasn't mine then it could crush my reputation" Chase said.

"You're young, you'll recover. Or maybe you won't. I really don't care" Dad shrugged.

"Of course you don't" I sighed.

"Again, I'll go get the manager" Bree smiled.

Soon Bree drags Scott by the hand to us but he quickly releases his arm from her.

"You're touching, you're touching, you're touching" Scott said, making me and Bree roll our eyes.

"This is really difficult for me to say" Chase sighed.

But of course, Bree gladly did it for him.

"He didn't create the Cheddy app, he stole it" Bree said, making Scott's eyes go wide.

"See? Easy" Bree smiled before walking away. 

"That's my best friend, aka my sister, blunt as always" I said while giggling.

"It's Mr. Davenport's. I didn't want to lose, so I tried to pass his technology off as my own" Chase explained.

"You know, Chase, admitting that was very big of... your sister" Scott said while pointing to Bree.

The three of us nodded.

"Now, it's time for my victory lap" Scott grinned as he turned around and started running.

We all looked at him weirdly when he ran off.

Soon Bree walked back over to us with a smile on her face.

"Good news, Chase, your night's about to get worse. Everybody who bought the Cheddy app wants their money back.

"What, why?" Chase asked in confusion.

We were able to hear what was going on with the other customers.

"Tickets to a movie? Sure. Which of your imaginary friends will be joining you?"

"Nice shirt. Too bad about the face." 

"Daily reminder. No one likes you!"

Our eyes widened in shock as we look at Chase who was growing nervous.

"Oh, no. Cheddy is using the computing power of all these devices to evolve into snarky Eddy faster" Chase said.

"Never mind that. You also forgot that Eddy's software is self-replicating. He's gonna start infecting other devices soon" Dad said as he took out his phone and started typing.

"Uh, I think he already has" Chase said.

"Huh?" I asked in confusion.

Soon we looked around only to see the computers and television screens getting taken over by Eddy.

"Hey, look! Now I'm annoying in HD!" Eddy said as he showed up on the big screen.

We all sighed, dad and Chase's being louder then mine and Bree's.

"How are we gonna shut this thing down?" Chase asked.

"Well, we're gonna have to delete the app at its source. I can reset Eddy's mainframe from here" Dad explained.

"Unless you stole my app that does that too!" Dad yelled at him.

Bree giggled while Chase just sighed.

"Okay, as soon as I shut down and reboot the lab's network, we should all be Cheddy-free" Dad said.

He pressed a few thing onto his phone as we looked around.

Soon Eddy starts disappearing from the computers and televisions.

"What's happening? I'm pixelating! I'm pixelating!" Eddy yelled before he was gone.

We all sighed in relief as me and Chase smiled at each other and held hands.

"Okay. The Cheddy app is deleted. Crisis averted" Dad said and we all nodded.

But then he turned to Chase and pointed a finger at him.

"Except for you, your crisis is just beginning!" Dad said.

"Woo-hoo! Victory lap! Yeah!" Bree yelled as she ran away from us and started doing her victory lap around store while cheering.

"Hoo-ah!" Bree yelled as she paused in the middle of the store to do a pose before going back to running.

We all looked at each other, not knowing what to say.

"That was weird" I said.

"Yeah" dad and Chase nodded.

"Oh crap, we forgot about Adam's play" I said and their eyes widened.

"Quick, let's grab Bree head outside and drive to school. We might get there in time" Dad said.

We all nodded as we ran away to get Bree and leave.

At School

Dad parked the car as we all quickly got out and ran inside.

We continued running until we got inside the gym.

But then we stopped when we saw that the place was a complete mess, people were hiding under their chairs while Leo was on the ground and Adam was standing on the stage.

"Uh...what the hell?" I asked in confusion.

"What'd we miss?" Dad asked while looking around.

"Oh! Ma'am, you're standing in it" Adam grinned.

It was dead silent for a few seconds before I slowly started clapping.

Soon everyone joined in and started clapping as well.

I sighed as I laid my head on Chase's shoulder as he wrapped an arm around my waist and kissed my head.
