Luna's Pov

We were all in the lab together just talking and doing some work.

After the whole thing with the President and finally getting rid of Agent Graham things were back to normal.

Dad was back to being in charge and I couldn't be happier because it means we're back to training and going on missions to save lives.

Just like what we always do.

Soon Leo walked into the lab.

"Guys, Alien Gladiators are coming to Mission Creek" Leo smiled.

We smiled back at him while Adam gasped.

"I knew this day would come. Thankfully, I'm prepared for an alien invasion" Adam said as he walked over to the cyberdesk and bent under.

He pulled out a tinfoil hat and placed it on his head, making all of us look at him weirdly.

"Chase, you hold them off while the rest of us who deserve to live escape" Adam said as he grabbed onto Bree and was about to run away but Leo stopped him.

"No, no. Not real aliens. My favorite sci-fi movie franchise: Alien Gladiators. They host annual fan conventions, and this year, it's in Mission Creek" Leo explained.

"Oh, I love Alien Gladiators" Chase smiled as he walked over to us.

"In the future, rival alien worlds, the Morfs and the Zarkanians will battle over control of the galaxy!" Chase said in a deep voice.

I just giggled and shook my head at him.

"Oh. I remember that movie. It was terrible. The whole thing was blurry" Adam said, making all of us look at him.

"You didn't wear your 3D glasses" I said and Bree nodded.

"Well I didn't wanna look stupid" Adam scoffed.

We just looked at him in annoyance before looking back at Leo.

"I bet the entire cast will be there. I have everybody's autograph. Except for the new guy playing Prince Landor in the sequel: Andre Ethier" Chase smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Whoa, whoa, wait. As in baseball superstar Andre Ethier?" Bree asked.

"Since when do you care about baseball?" Chase asked.

"I love baseball. You know, with the bases and...the ball" Bree said, making all of us give her weird looks.

"Okay, whatever. Andre Ethier's cute, and if he's there, I'm there" Bree scoffed.

"The convention is going to be awesome. They're bringing back the fire staff challenge" Leo grinned.

Alright, now this perked my interest.

Anything that involves a challenge I'm in.

"What's a fire staff?" Adam asked.

This made Leo grin even more as he walked over to his desk and took out a big stick from behind.

"This, is a fire staff" Leo smiled as he tapped it on the ground and it turned on.

"Looks like a stick with lights" Adam said.

"It's a fire staff!" Leo yelled at him, making him back off.

"Competitors battle each other with their own fire staffs, and the winner gets a walk on role in the next movie. And that winner is going to be me" Leo grinned.

He then started spinning his fire staff but failed because he hit himself in the head with it.

"Well, I really don't care much about winning but if it's a challenge and it involves fighting then count me in" I smirked.

"Oh it's on Luna" Leo said.

"Yes it is dooley, yes it is" I nodded while laying my head on Chase's shoulder.

We heard footsteps and turned around to see dad walking in the lab wearing a robe and holding a fire staff.

"Greetings, good Morfs" Dad said.

Leo looked at him in shock and walked over to him with us following behind him.

"What are you doing?" Leo asked.

"Getting ready for the Alien Gladiators convention. I am Elder Lumina. And Elder Lumina will be victorious in the fire staff challenge" Dad grinned.

"Look, Elder-ly Lumina, I hate to get your robe in a bunch, but that role is mine" Leo smirked.

"That's cute. But I've loved these movies my entire life, and winning that role will fill my biggest childhood dream, so..." Dad said while laughing.

"I think childhood dreams expire once you hit 40" Leo shot back at him.

This made me and the trio snort while dad gave him an offended look.

"Oh, all right, out of the way, micro Morf" Dad scoffed.

Soon he started swinging his fire staff around and did some pretty badass moves, they were actually really good.

Once he was done we stared at him in shock.

"Still think I'm too old to compete?" Dad asked.

"I don't know what was more amazing, your moves or the fact that your dentures didn't fall out" Leo smirked.

I burst out laughing along with the trio while dad glared at him as they both ended up running out of the lab.

The Next Day

We were at school in the hallway as me and Chase were sitting on the bench while Bree was standing as we were watching Leo practice with his fire staff.

Once he was done he looked at us with a wide grin on his face.

" Pretty cool, huh? It's shiny 'cause I showered with it" Leo said.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him.

"Okay. You really think you're gonna beat Mr. Davenport?" Bree asked as she walked over to him.

"Please. Once he starts sweating, he'll go blind from his hair dye" Leo said, making me giggle.

Adam walks down the stairs and walks over to us.

"Okay, all caught up on Alien Gladiators. Great movies, but they're missing one thing. Space Dog" Adam said.

"Space Dog?" Chase asked in confusion.

"Yeah. He'd be the perfect companion. Plus in space, after he does his business, it just floats away" Adam grinned.

I just sighed as I held onto Chase's hand and laid my head on his shoulder.

Then to my annoyance, along with everyone else, Caitlin walked over to us.

What does this annoying bitch want now?

"Hey, guys. Sorry I'm late" Caitlin smiled, making all us look at her weirdly.

"We weren't waiting for you" I said, making the others nod while she glared at me.

"Back off, Luna. It's been a bad day" Caitlin scoffed.

I glared at her as I showed her my middle finger and stuck my tounge at her.

She looked over at Leo and smiled when she saw his fire staff as she walked over to him and touched it.

"Cool fire staff. Are you guys going to the convention tomorrow, too?" Caitlin asked.

"Yep. We're even dressing in character. I'm going as Gigabit, half human, half robot" Chase said as he stood up on the bench.

I smiled while rolling my eyes at him before pulling him back down.

"And I'm going as Prince Landor. Handsome yet brave...yet handsome" Leo smirked.

"Take out both of those things and all you have is the Prince Landor" I smirked.

This made the others laugh while Leo glared at me but I just smirked even more and wiggled my fingers at him.

"Well, I will be going as the beautiful Queen Andromeda" Bree said while flipping her hair.

I smiled at my best friend/sister but Caitlin looked at her in shock and looked her up and down.

"Really? You? Well, it is a fantasy world" Caitlin said.

This made Bree frown while I glared and growled at the girl.

She literally said that my best friend/sister was ugly, who the hell says that?

"What about you Luna?" Caitlin asked.

"Please, I'm not dressing up in a weird costume. I'll just be wearing something regular yet badass since I'll be participating in the fire staff challenge" I smirked.

"Of course you will" Caitlin sighed as she walked away.

"We really need new friends" Bree said, making the others nod while I scoffed.

"That bitch ain't my friend so leave me out of this" I said while rolling my eyes.

Soon Leo continues playing with his fire staff and continues to spin it around and does some moves.

He then charges at someone who was leaving the classroom but stops when it reveals to be Principal Perry.

"Aah! Watch the glow stick, cirque du so-lame" Principal Perry said.

"Sorry, Principal Perry. Just gettin' my Morf on. There's an Alien Gladiators competition tomorrow--" Leo started but she cut him off.

"Blah, blah, blah, I hate all that Morf stuff" Principal Perry scoffed.

"But Alien Gladiators rule" Leo said.

"No. I rule. And that's why I'm confiscating this stick. No weapons allowed on school grounds" Principal Perry said as she took the staff from him.

"But I need this for the fire staff competition" Leo said.

"And I need it to unclog my toilet" Principal Perry said as she walked away.

Leo looked shocked yet disgusted while I laughed and shook my head at him.

"Glad I left my fire staff at home" I whispered to Chase.

He chuckled and pecked me on the lips, making me smile.

The Fire Staff Arena

After school was over we quickly went home to get changed to get to the convention in time.

Leo had quickly left for school once he was done changing because he was going to get his fire staff back after Principal Perry took it away.

So, now we're all at the convention.

I quickly said goodbye to the trio since I was going to be in the fire staff challenge.

I managed to get dad to buy me a fire staff, it was a purple one and it was really cool.

And it goes well with my outfit.

I walked into the place as I spotted dad on top of the arena, I smiled and made my way over to him.

"Hey dad" I smiled.

"Oh hey pumpkin, I didn't know you were going to participate" Dad said.

"Well I am, so lets hope you win so I can beat you later old man" I joked.

He playfully glared at me before smirking.

"That's cute pumpkin, you think you're going to win" Dad said, making me glare at him this time.

"Oh I know I will win" I said.

"Wanna bet?" Dad asked and I nodded.

"Deal" I said as the both of us shook hands and nodded.

Soon we heard footsteps and turned around to see Leo running towards us with his fire staff.

"Hey, Big D. Luna" Leo said.

"Hey. What took you so long? Nervous?" Dad asked while smirking.

"No. I had to sneak into Principal Perry's office to get my fire staff back. By the way, is it legal for her to have a pet jackal?" Leo asked.

Me and dad looked at him weirdly before shrugging.

"Okay, I'm ready. Let's do this" Dad grinned as he turned on his fire staff, swung it around a few times and hit someone with it as they fell off the arena.

My eyes widened along with Leo's while dad smirked and walked over to us.

"The competition hasn't started yet" I deadpanned at him and Leo nodded.

Dad's eyes widened in realization.

"Oh. Sorry" Dad said while looking at the guy he hit.

I just rolled my eyes and sighed.

After a few minutes the competition has begun, Leo was up first.

The bell rang and soon Leo was fighting his opponent. They swung their swords at each other a few times but Leo gained the upperhand and hit the guy off the arena.

We all cheered and clapped for him.

"And that's how you do it in Dooley-ville" Leo smirked.

This made me scoff while dad frowned and shook his head.

The bell rang and this time it was dad's turn.

Dad and his opponent swung their staffs at each other a few times and moved around a few times as well.

Dad managed to gain the upperhand by grabbing onto his opponent's staff and kicking him in the stomach, causing his opponent to fall off the arena.

"Respect the robe, okay" Dad smirked.

Me and Leo scoffed and rolled our eyes at him.

Soon it was my turn.

I was up against some dude wearing a really weird costume that made him look like a knight.

The bell rang and it was time.

We swung our staffs at each other a few times and moved around a few times as well.

He tried grabbing my staff but I kicked him in the stomach and he stumbled back a bit and nearly fell off the arena but not all the way.

I managed to swing my staff at him a few times, then I managed to hit him in the head with it.

I took this chance to once again kick him in the stomach and this time he fell off the arena.

Everyone smiled and cheered for me as I smirked.

"Not gonna lie, that was pretty easy" I smiled, placing my hand on my hip.

Next it was Leo's turn and his opponent was tough I will admit and Leo was actually struggling just a bit.

His opponent ran at him but Leo managed to move out of the way just in time, causing his opponent to fall off the arena.

"Not gonna lie. Dooley-ville got a little lucky on that one" Leo said.

"No shit" I chuckled.

Next it was dad's turn, him and his opponent swung their staffs at each other and kicked each other as well.

Dad then managed to turn around and hit him, causing him to fall off the arena.

Everyone cheered and clapped for him while dad smiled.

Next it was my turn and I was up against a girl that looked slightly older then me, she wore a light green dress and a silver robe.

The bell rang and we began fighting.

We swung our staffs at each other a few times, she actually managed to hit me in the stomach with hers and I stumbled back a bit.

I'll admit I was somewhat impressed, but not all the way.

I ran at her and swung my staff at her and managed to hit her in the head with it.

She stumbled back a bit, giving me the chance to run at her and push her off with my staff.

She fell off the arena and landed hard on the ground.

Everyone smiled and cheered for me as I smirked once again.

I flipped my hair before jumping off the arena.

Me, dad and Leo were standing off to the side while drinking some juice as we watched two other people fight.

This one opponent was wearing this dark outfit with a spiky evil helmet covering his face and I had to admit he/she was doing really well.

"Check out this evil grand Zarkanian. What a show-off. Probably some over-zealous fan boy" Leo scoffed.

Soon this evil grand Zarkanian throws their opponent off the arena and they landed next to the the three of us.

"Uh, that fan boy just made it to the finals. Which means it's down to us three to compete for the last spot" Dad said.

"Fuck" I sighed in annoyance.

"I was hoping this wouldn't happen" Dad sighed before setting his juice down and looking at me and Leo.

"Oh, well, time to crush your dreams" Dad smirked before walking away.

Now, it was me up against dad.

Father vs Daughter.

Can you believe it?

It was actually going to be Leo vs dad but Leo changed at the last minute because he wanted to go up against the other dude in that weird evil grand Zarkanian outfit.

Soon me and dad made it onto the arena and looked at each other.

"Whoever wins, wins" Dad said and I nodded.

"Deal" I said.

Soon the bell rang and it was time for the fight.

Me and dad started swinging our staffs at each other and moving around.

I tried to aim a hit at dad but he managed to block it.

"I've trained you well" Dad smirked.

"Please, you only helped train me with my bionics. Fighting hand to hand combat was all those self defense classes. And fighting with this fire staff was all me" I scoffed.

I pushed him off of me and we went back to fighting.

Dad swung his staff at me so many times and he was really fast and it was scaring me just a tiny bit.

I tried to hit him with mine but he managed to dodge it.

He then managed to kick me and I fell to the ground and my staff dropped off the arena and onto the ground.

Oh shit.

I gave dad a nervous look while he smirked.

"Aha. And now, for the final death blow" Dad smirked.

He spun around while holding his staff up in the air while laughing but then all of a sudden I heard a crack and dad stopped moving.

"What happened? Are you alright?" I asked.

"Nothing. I'm fine. I can battle...and I'm falling. I'm falling, I'm falling" Dad yelled as he fell backwards and landed onto the ground.

The bell rang again, meaning that I won.

I quickly ran over to dad and kneeled in front of him.

"Dad, dad, are you ok? Can you see?" I asked while waving my hand in his face.

"Of course I'm fine pumpkin, and yes I can see" Dad said.

I sighed in relief before smirking as I got off the ground and picked up my fire staff.

"Good. Because I don't want you to miss a single second of my victory dance" I smirked as I walked back onto the arena.

I started spinning myself around while moving my head a bit.

I started swaying my hips back and forth while swinging my staff around a few times.

I stopped dancing and everyone started cheering and clapping for me.

This made me smirk even more as I stopped and flipped my hair before making me way over to Leo.

He smiled at me as we high-fived each other.

"Nice job Luna" Leo said.

"Thanks dooley" I smirked.

After a few minutes dad walked over to us while using his staff as cane since his back still hurt.

"I am so jealous of you, Leo. The only thing standing between you and that walk-on role is that evil grand Zarkanian kid and Luna, that is if you win" Dad said and I nodded.

"Don't worry, Big D. I got this" Leo said, making me scoff.

"Yeah right" I said.

Soon he made his way back onto the arena and everyone starts cheering for him.

"Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf" everyone in the crowd yelled.

"Prepare to face off against the bravest warrior in all of Morfdom. Be a man and unmask yourself" Leo said.

Soon the evil grand Zarkanian kid took off their mask and my eyes widened when I saw who it was.

It was fucking Principal Perry!!

"Surprise!" Principal Perry yelled.

"Aah!" Leo yelled as mine and dad's eyes widened in shock.

"Please tell me that's another mask" Leo begged, making Principal Perry scoff and roll her eyes at him.

The match stopped because Leo wanted to talk to Principal Perry about this so me and dad made our way onto the arena.

"Principal Perry? You said you hate Alien Gladiators" Leo said in confusion and I nodded.

"No, I said I hated Morfs. But the Zarkanians are a deceitful and despicable species. Those are my peeps" Principal Perry smirked.

"How did you get this far in the competition?" I asked.

"Yeah, you have the muscle tone of a newborn calf" Leo said, making me and dad snort.

"He should be eliminated. He stole that fire staff from my locked office. That's illegal" Principal Perry told the judge.

"So is having a jackal in school" Leo defended, making me and dad nod.

"Fight on!" Principal Perry yelled as she lifted her staff in the air.

But before she could do anything the bell rang and she drops her staff.

"Dinner break!" Principal Perry yelled as she ran off the arena, with everyone else following behind her.

"What's wrong?" Dad asked, noticing that Leo looked really nervous.

"Perry fights dirty. I'll never be able to beat her" Leo sighed.

"I hate to admit it but he's right, that women plays dirty and cheats. She's going to find a way to beat him and win" I said as I ran my hands through my hair.

"I would much rather you win that walk-on role than Perry. So perhaps, during the dinner break, young Prince Landor would benefit from the sage mentoring of Elder Lumina" Dad smiled.

I smiled back at him while Leo looked at him weirdly.

"The same Elder Lumina who's now using his fire staff as a cane?" Leo asked.

"It's not a cane. It's a space-age walking enhancer" Dad defended, making me and Leo roll our eyes.

"Look, just like Principal Perry, the Zarkanian's greatest weakness is their anger. When they get mad during an attack, they lose sight of their defense" Dad explained.

"What does that mean?" Leo asked.

"You have to get her to charge at you" Dad said.

"But if I do that, won't she charge at me?" Leo asked in confusion.

"Yes, that's what you want. Yes, and then, you do my signature move: The Morf Vortex" Dad grinned.

Leo looked at him weirdly while I just rolled my eyes.

"The Morf Vortex? Just so you know, you can get too nerdy with this stuff" Leo said and I nodded.

Dad just scoffed and rolled his eyes at us.

After the dinner break it was time for Leo to go against Principal Perry and he was still nervous.

Dad walked over to us while holding his cape in his hands.

"Prince Landor, Elder Lumina would like to present you with his warrior master robe for battle" Dad said.

"Wow. Thanks, Big D" Leo smiled before sniffing it.

"Why does it smell funny?" Leo asked.

"Cause I refuse to wash it" Dad chuckled, making me and Leo cringed but he still put it on.

"Now, I've taught you everything you need to know to win. Take Perry down" Dad said and I nodded.

Leo nodded at him before taking his staff and walking back onto the arena.

"Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf, Morf" the crowd yelled once the bell rang.

Soon Leo and Principal Perry started swinging their staffs at each other and they were both doing really well.

Leo had hit Principal Perry with his staff and she stumbled back a bit and held out her hand.

"Wait, stop. I'm hurt" Principal Perry said.

"Are you okay?" Leo asked while walking towards her.

She then smirked and hit him with her staff, causing him to stumble back and land on the ground but still managed to stay on top of the arena.

"Silly Morf. I will use your kindness to beat you. This is it, Dooley. You're going down!" Principal Perry yelled.

Leo sighed and looked at me and dad.

"See, I told you. I can't beat her" Leo said.

"Yes, you can. Use the Morf Vortex" Dad said and I nodded.

"Yeah dooley, don't give up. Get her to charge at you" I said.

Leo looked at us and nodded as he stood back up.

"Come on!" Principal Perry yelled and soon they both resumed fighting.

"Hey, Principal Perry. When I was in your office, I broke into your cheese drawer" Leo smirked.

This made her gasp as she glared at him while I smirked.

"What's the point of a guard jackal if it doesn't do its job" Principal Perry growled in annoyance.

She then tried charging at Leo but he quickly moved away from her and corners her at the end of the platform.

She doesn't fall off but she's very close.

"Don't let it end like this" Principal Perry said as Leo aimed his staff at her.

He looked at her before sighing and putting his staff down as he walked a bit closer to her and blew in her face, this makes her fall off the platform.

Everyone cheered and clapped for him as he smiled and raised his staff in the air.

He made his way over to us and we patted him on his back.

"Nice job buddy" I said.

"Good work Leo" Dad smiled.

"Thanks Luna, thanks Big D" Leo smiled.

After a few more minutes it was time for me to go up against Leo.

This it people, time to see who's going to win.

Me, or Leo.

Leo made his way onto the arena while dad quickly gave me a hug and kissed my forehead.

"Make sure you win this pumpkin" Dad said and I smiled.

"Of course dad" I said.

I then made my way onto the arena and soon everyone started cheering for us.

"Whoever wins, wins" Leo said and I nodded.

"Deal" I said.

Soon the bell rang and it was time to fight.

I swung my staff at Leo and managed to hit him in the head and he stumbled back a bit but quickly recovered.

He started swinging his staff at me while I dodged all his hits.

"Too slow dooley" I smirked at him while he rolled his eyes at me.

We continued swinging our staffs at each other and moved around, then to my surprise Leo had managed to hit me in the stomach with his staff.

I stumbled back a bit and nearly fell off the arena but quickly recovered as I did a front flip and hit Leo in the head with my staff.

He winced in pain but recovered and swung his staff at me once more.

I quickly dodged but then to my shock again he crouched down and hit my legs with his staff.

I fell to the ground and my staff fell out of my hands.

'Oh you've gotta be kidding me' I thought.

Leo smirked and walked towards me and pointed his staff right in front of me.

Everyone in the crowd was cheering more and more, wanting to see if Leo is going to win or if I will win.

"My, my, my, how the tables have turned huh?" Leo smirked.

I glared at him while scoffing but he still had his smirk on his face and lifted his staff into the air.

"So, any last words before I end this myself?" Leo asked.

Before I could say anything I realized he was standing above me while I was holding myself up with my elbows.

This made me smirk while he looked confused.

"Yeah, I'm not a quitter or a loser dooley boy!" I yelled.

I quickly lifted my leg and kicked him where the sun don't shine.

He let out a loud yell of pain as he stumbled back and dropped his staff to the ground.

I quickly grabbed my staff and got back up, moving around and swinging my staff I hit him in the stomach with it.

He let out a yelp as he got pushed out of the arena and landed on the ground.

The bell rang and smoke surrounded me as everyone started cheering and clapping for me.

"Looks like I win!" I yelled while smirking.

The coach walked onto the arena and smiled at me and I smiled back at him.

He then handed me the award.

I smiled and shook his hand before making my way towards dad with Leo following behind me.

"Gotta admit, that was impressive Luna" Leo smiled at me.

I giggled and nodded.

"Thanks dooley" I said and he nodded.

"Pumpkin, I am so proud of you" Dad smiled at me as he kissed my cheek.

"Thanks, dad. But you know what's gonna be even better than this? Seeing you in the next Alien Gladiators movie" I smiled at him.

Dad and Leo both looked at me in confusion.

"What?" Dad asked.

"That walk-on role is yours" I said as I handed him my award.

Truth be told I really didn't want to be in the next Alien Gladiators movie.

I just really wanted to enter the fire staff competition and go up against people since I do like fighting and beating other people's asses.

And well you know how competitive I get when it comes to winning.

But this is something dad really wants and I'm not about to take that away from him.

"I don't know what to say, pumpkin. Thank you" Dad smiled at me as he hugged me.

I smiled and hugged him back before we pulled away.

"No, thank you. I underestimated you because of your age" I said while pointing at me and Leo.

Leo snorted but nodded.

"But without your wisdom, I would never have won this. Now you can die in peace" I smirked.

Leo let out a small bark of laughter while dad glared at me but I continued smirking.

I then made my way to Leo and linked our arms together.

"Come on dear dooley boy, we shall find our siblings and my boyfriend" I said in a fake accent.

"Of course dear Luna, we shall" Leo said in the same fake accent.

Dad rolled his eyes but chuckled at our antics and made his way next to me and linked his arm with my other arm.

"Onward dear children" Dad said in the fake accent.

We all laughed together before walking away, our arms still linked together as we left to go find the trio.
