Luna's Pov

Me, the trio, Alexis and Nick were in the common area looking through the box of Halloween decorations to decorate the academy.

While we were looking through the box we heard footsteps and turned around to see Leo walking towards us.

"Hey, Leo, where you been?" Chase asked.

"I just finished watching a 24-hour horror movie marathon. I was so scared, I chewed through all my fingernails" Leo smiled.

We all gave him weird looks.

"But on the bright side, I had a big bowl of popcorn, so they were delightfully tasty" Leo said.

We all gave him weird looks once again, me and Alexis trying not to gag.

"Guys, how is our first Halloween at the academy going to be spooky when all we have is this pathetic little box of Halloween decorations?" Bree asked.

I sighed dreamily, remembering some childhood memories of dad taking me out for trick or treat during Halloween.

Dad would take me every night and he would either buy me whatever costume I wanted.

Or he would call in a friend of his and have them make me a cool costume.

Ah, good times.

"And, uh, what is this disgusting slime in the trick-or-treat bowl?" Alexis asked, taking out a bowl filled with disgusting orange stuff.

"Oh, that's not slime. That's last year's pumpkin" Adam said.

Alexis gagged and handed the bowl to Adam.

"You know, I'm surprised it didn't keep" Adam said.

He sniffs it before gagging in disgust.

"Ew!" Bree gagged.

I took the bowl out of his hands and placed it on top of the console.

"Hey guys" Bob smiled, walking towards us.

We all looked at each other before glancing back at him.

"Bob, what are you doing here?" Nick asked.

"Yeah. All the other students are out with Mr. Davenport on a field trip to the Davenport birthplace and museum" Chase said.

I shivered and shook my head.

Dad took me there when I was 13.

Lets just say, I can't unsee what I saw.

"Gosh darn it, I can't believe I'm missing that" Bob deadpanned, not looking guilty at all, and he said it in a slightly sarcastic way.

Hmm, looks like I've been rubbing off on him.

I'm so proud.

"Really, Bob?" Bree asked, giving him a slight smirk.

"Oh, come on. Part of the tour is him re-enacting his birth" Bob said, looking annoyed yet weirded out.

The others looked weirded out and turned to me for confirmation.

"Yes, it's true. Trust me, I would know" I said, shivering once more.

Adam looked at us and smiled and pointed a finger at Bob.

"This kid might be smarter than we thought" Adam smiled and we all nodded.

"Ooh, smoothie" Bob grinned.

He grabbed the bowl and walked away into the training area.

"Maybe not" Adam sighed.

He got up from his chair and followed Bob from behind, with Alexis following behind him.

I sighed and laid my head on Chase's shoulder.

He smiled and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, kissing my head.

We heard footsteps and turned around to see Perry walking in, all dressed up and she had a metal detector in her hand.

"Later, machine people. I'm taking the metal detector to the beach to look for other people's money" Perry said.

"So what, you're done going through our wallets?" Leo asked.

"Yep. How do you think I paid for this thing?" Perry asked, pointing to her metal detector.

We all glared at her in annoyance and anger.

Nick tried walking towards her but Bree grabbed his arm and shook her head.

Douglas walks in as Perry started walking to leave.

"If you need me, I'll be at the island across the way" Perry said.

Douglas stopped dead in his tracks and turned to look at Perry.

"What island? The deserted one?" Douglas asked.

Perry nodded before smiling and walking closer towards him.

"Yeah. Care to join me? There's room for two in my inflatable kayak. If you're good, we could play shipwrecked passenger and curious island native" Perry grinned.

Me and the others looked at each other.

I buried my face more into Chase's shoulder, trying to stop myself from throwing up.

"How about we play shipwrecked passenger and rescue pilot who just keeps flying?" Douglas suggested, looking weirded out.

"Hey, I've always wondered about that island" Nick said, wrapping his arm around Bree's shoulder.

"Ooh, maybe there are waterfalls" Bree smiled, clapping her hands in delight.

"And caves" Leo smiled.

"And maybe we'll be introduced to cool new species of insects" Chase smiled.

"And then, we can introduce them to an uncool species of human" Bree said.

Chase glared at her, making me sigh and roll my eyes.

Nick chuckled and kissed her temple, pulling her closer to his side.

A smirk appeared on my face and I leaned more into Chase and moved my lips so that they were close to his ear.

"Maybe we can go there when we want to have some alone time. With no distractions" I whispered seductively in his ear.

I bit back a giggle when I saw him shivering.

I wrapped my arm around his waist and laid my head back on his shoulder.

"Trust me. You don't wanna go to that island" Douglas said.

"Why not?" Nick asked.

"From what I hear, that place is uninhabited for a reason. It's a scary jungle full of venomous snakes, rabid bats, and toxic plants that cause rashes" Douglas explained, looking scared.

Perry scoffed and waved him off.

"Rashes don't bother me. I'm rarely without one" Perry said.

"No shock there" Bree sarcastically said, snuggling into Nick's side.

"I'm headed to the mainland for a supply run. Just promise you won't go there" Douglas said, walking towards the hydraloop.

"Sure. No problem" Perry smiled while waving at him.

Douglas nodded before the doors closed and he was gone.

"Well, I'm off to that other island" Perry said.

We all gave her annoyed and exasperated looks.

Did she really forget Douglas telling us not to go there?

He's literally the only person she would actually listen to, and it's honestly just weird.

"Hey, Douglas just told you not to go there" I said and Chase nodded.

"Yeah, well, the only voices I listen to are the three inside my head" Perry scoffed while rolling her eyes.

She waved at us before walking off.

We all looked at each other and shrugged before walking behind her, wanting to see what we would find on that island.

At The Other Island

Me and the others made it to the other island and we were just wandering around, looking at anything we thought was interesting.

This place was a bit weird, but still really cool.

We were all together, walking to a nearby place we spotted.

I was holding Chase's hand while Bree had her arms wrapped around Nick's waist, and he had his arm around her shoulders.

"Douglas was right. This place is creepy" Leo said, looking around nervously.

We then heard an animal squeak, making Leo stop walking as he shook his head at us.

"Okay, seen it, saw it, done, Dooley out" Leo said, turning around to leave.

Me and the others gave him looks of disbelief and shook our heads.

"Leo. I can't believe you" Bree said and I nodded.

"Yeah. Dude, you just watched a horror movie marathon and now you're scared" I scoffed, shaking my head at him.

He glared at me and Bree and walked over to us.

"I am not scared. I wanna leave for a very manly reason. I have a blister on my pinky toe" Leo said.

We all gave him 'seriously' looks as I let out another scoff and rolled my eyes at him.

"The island is full of animals I've never seen before. Some of them aren't even in my database" Chase grinned.

I smiled softly at him and giggled.

I always love seeing him so happy about these types of things.

We heard rustling coming from the bushes and turned around.

"Whoa! Here comes one crashing through the underbrush. I bet it's an exotic wild boar!" Chase grinned at us.

We were all grinning and nodded back at him.

We were all really excited to see whatever cool animal would pop out from behind that bush.

However, it wasn't an animal that came out.

It was just Perry.

"You were right" Bree deadpanned and we all nodded.

Perry looked at us and squinted her eyes at us before walking towards us.

"Why are you wearing gloves?" Nick asked.

"Don't wanna devalue any rare finds with my oily fingers. Also, I'm on an island with five people I despise. Mom always said, 'Never leave fingerprints'" Perry said, chuckling at the end.

We all rolled our eyes at her as I pointed to her metal detector.

"Have you ever even found anything valuable with that thing?" I asked.

"For your information, I found my grandma's lost wedding ring. It's been in my family for generations" Perry said.

This made our eyes widen in shock as we stared at her.

That...that's actually really nice of her.

And that says alot.

"Wow. That's actually kind of sweet" Bree said with a small smile, making all of us nod.

"Yeah. I made a bundle on it when I sold it back to her" Perry grinned.

Should've seen that coming.

Chase sighed and walked behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and resting his chin on my shoulder.

"Well, this island is obviously uninhabited, so I highly doubt you'll find anything here" Chase said.

I nodded, resting my hands on top of his and leaning more into his touch.

Perry starts scanning the ground with her metal detector, and to our shock it actually starts beeping.

"Jackpot!" Perry yelled.

Our eyes widen as we looked at her in shock. She ignored us and bent down, dropping her metal detector.

When we take a few steps closer, she started throwing sand behind her, basically throwing it at us.

We all moved away from her, trying to dodge the sand as best as we could.

When she finally stopped, she gasped and took out a black skull and held it in her hands, making sure not to drop it.

"Oh! Payday! A skull found out here in the middle of nowhere. It's gotta be some sort of treasure. I'm gonna make a fortune!" Perry grinned.

Me and the others looked at each other before looking back at her as Leo walked over to her.

"You know that's not a real skull, right? It's made of metal" Leo said and I nodded.

Perry looked at it and shrugged, turning to look at Bree, Chase and Nick.

"Looks more human than those four" Perry said.

Me, Bree, Chase and Nick gave her offended and angry looks. I sighed and shook my head.

Bree walked over to her, dragging Nick with her as they were holding hands.

"I've heard about ancient relics being taken from their resting place. They say bad things happen to the people that remove them" Bree said.

"What harm is taking a little old skull gonna do? Let's let Boney decide. Hey, Boney, do you mind if I take you?" Perry asked the skull.

She cleared her throat and opened it's mouth.

"Of course not. Sell me. Just keep me away from these losers" Perry said in a weird accent, as if that's how the skull would be talking.

We all gave her weird looks while I walked over to her.

"Look, that skull is creepy, and more importantly, it doesn't belong to you. Leave it" I sternly said.

"You guys are wimps. Fine. If you're freaked out, I'll put it back" Perry scoffed, throwing the skull back in the hole.

"Good" Chase nodded.

"Let's go" Nick said.

We all nodded and walked away, not wanting to be here any longer.

Back At The Academy

When we got back to the academy me and Chase immediately went to my room and started making out.

It's been a while since we've had time alone.

And right now I just wanna spend time with my amazing boyfriend.

I had one hand on his cheek as we both passionately kissed each other.

He hummed into the kiss and placed his hands on my hips.

We walked towards my bed and when we were there, I pulled away from him and pushed him onto my bed.

He landed on his back and I got on top of him, pressing my lips back onto his.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and I cupped his face with my hands.

I pulled away and sat up, pulling my shirt over my head and throwing it to the ground, leaving me in my black lace bra.

Chase did the same and took of his shirt and threw it to the ground.

I leaned back down and placed a soft kiss to his neck before going down to his chest.

I smiled before going back up and capturing his lips.

He hummed and placed his hands on my hips.

He sat up from the bed, me straddling him and cupping his face with my hands.

We pulled away from the kiss, wanting to catch our breath.

We were both breathing heavily, we stared into each others eyes and pressed our foreheads against each others.

"I love you" Chase whispered.

"I love you too" I whispered back.

We smiled at each other before pressing our lips back against each others.

We laid back down on the bed, making no effort to break the kiss as we kept on going.

Soon, more of our clothes came off as we got under the covers and engulfed ourselves in a passionate moment.

A Few Minutes Later
In The Common Area

After we were done, we quickly fixed ourselves up and got dressed before leaving my room.

We met up with Bree, Leo and Nick and we were going to find Adam, Alexis and Bob to see if they want to come with us to Mission Creek.

We've got nothing to do here so might as well go out and do something fun.

When we got to the common area, we saw Perry sitting by the console, typing on her laptop.

And to our shock and annoyance, the skull was with her.

As soon as Leo spotted it, he gasped loudly, gaining her attention.

"She lied to us and took the skull from the island. We're cursed!" Leo yelled, clearly worried.

"Relax. I've been with the skull all day. Nothing bad has happened to me" Perry scoffed.

She the put her thinking face on for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Eh, a little heartburn around noon. Got a chunk of hot dog stuck in the old air hose, but I'll work it out by dinner" Perry said, waving her hand around.

"Just because nothing bad has happened yet doesn't mean it won't" Leo said.

He then looked at us and made some hand motions.

"In that movie, Skull Apocalypse, a group of kids dug up a cursed skull, and one by one, they all died horrible deaths because there's no cheating fate. We're all gonna die!" Leo explained, yelling at the end.

We all gave him weird yet concerned looks.

"Good to see you're not over-reacting" Bree sarcastically said.

Leo glared at her before giving her a pointed look.

"That's exactly what the pretty brown-haired girl said before she became the pretty brown-haired girl on a hook" Leo said.

This made Bree's eyes widen in shock but also some fear.

Nick glared at Leo and smacked his arm, he wrapped his arms around Bree's waist and brought her closer to his side.

We sighed and shook our heads and walked closer to Perry.

"Perry, you shouldn't have taken it from that island. You don't know who buried it there or why" Chase said.

Leo nodded and quickly walked over to stand next to me.

"Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. In Skull Apocalypse, there was this really tall man in blue jean overalls, and he had no face" Leo said.

We all gave him weird looks.

Along with concerning looks too.

This dude really needs to lay off those movies for the time being.

I sighed and gently placed my hands on his shoulders.

"Okay, Leo, buddy, relax. It was just a movie" I said.

"Was it, Luna? Or was it a premonition? We're all gonna die!" Leo yelled in fear.

"Stop saying that!" I yelled at him in annoyance and frustration, smacking his arm

Chase groaned in annoyance and snatched the skull from on top of the console.

"That is it! This thing is going back where it belongs" Chase said, turning around and walking away.

"Wait! They're already bidding on it. Oh, never mind. I'll just find a real skull and spray paint it" Perry sighed, shaking her head.

We all nodded at her as she looked at Bree, her eyes showing some interest.

"You got a nice one" Perry said, licking her lips.

We all gave her weird looks and took a few steps away from her.

Nick hugged Bree tighter in his arms and Bree clung onto him, clearly weirded out and scared.

A Few Hours Later
In The Mentor Headquarters

Night time came faster than expected, it was already getting dark.

Chase still hadn't come back from the island and I was getting worried, really worried.

The others told me not to worry that much because Chase can handle himself.

I wasn't that convinced, before reminding myself that my boyfriend was a nerd and he probably wanted to explore the island more in search of something real and unexpected.

So, getting that off my mind, I was in the mentor headquarters with Bree, Leo and Nick.

Bree was chatting with Nick while cutting some apples.

Leo finished reading a book of his and was telling me about it, and I was actually really curious and intrigued by it.

We were having a fun relaxing time.

Until we heard screaming and turned around to see Perry running into the room.

We all looked at each other before looking at her in confusion and slight worry.

"What's wrong?" Nick asked.

"Dooley was right. The skull is cursed. Over the last hour, I've had three near-fatal accidents. That's two more than my daily average!" Perry explained, holding up three fingers.

Me, Bree and Nick looked at her in confusion.

While Leo looked shocked yet scared.

Bree set her knife down as we all walked over to her.

"Okay, what are you talking about?" Bree asked.

"First, I was in the shower when the glass door shattered into jagged pieces. Then, I drew a bath but the blow dryer fell in, electrocuting the water. So then, I hopped into the kitchen sink, but my foot got stuck in the garbage disposal!" Perry explained, basically yelling at the end.

We all gave her weird yet concerned looks.

"Why were you that determined to get clean?" I asked.

"I'm like a lizard. Once a year, I shed my top layer. There's a whole skin outline of me circling the drain" Perry explained.

This made me and the other gag in disgust as we shook our heads at her.

Then all of a sudden we heard creaking noises, making all of us furrow our eyebrows in confusion.

"What was that?" Bree asked.

We heard the creaking noise again, and it was coming from above us.

We looked up, only to see that it was coming from the ceiling fan.

Our eyes widen in shock and fear when the ceiling fan broke and started falling down.

We let out loud screams as me, Perry and Leo ran. While Nick, on instinct, grabbed Bree by the waist and hurriedly dragged her away.

The ceiling fan dropped to the ground, shattering into a few pieces as some of those pieces scattered across the ground.

We were all staring at the now broken ceiling fan in shock and fear, and we were all panting heavily, trying to process what happened.

"See! What did I tell you?!" Perry yelled, pointing at the broken ceiling fan.

I quickly shook my head and waved my hands around.

"Okay, okay, everyone just calm down. This is probably just a freakish coincidence. Nothing to be scared of" I said.

Bree nodded along with Nick, but Perry and Leo didn't look that convinced.

Then all of a sudden we hear another noise coming from the kitchen counter.

We turned to see that the knives shaking. Then all of a sudden they float up from the counter and head straight for Leo.

We all let out loud screams as Leo quickly covered his face with his book. The knives luckily got stuck in his book, but they were two inches away from his face.

I gasped and covered my mouth in absolute horror.

What the hell!!

Leo lowered his book down, looking at me with nothing but frustration and fear in his eyes.

"That is not a coincidence" Leo said.

He quickly dropped his book and ran over to us, looking at Perry.

"This is just like the movie. You brought the curse back, and now we're doomed!" Leo yelled.

"Okay, everyone just calm down. If we stay still, nothing bad can happen to us, right?" Nick suggested.

We all nodded and held our arms out, staying as still as we possibly could.

But then we heard another noise and turned around, only to see a fireball coming out of the fireplace, hitting Perry's head and making her head smoke.

We all screamed and jumped back in shock.

Perry's eyes widen in fear as she touched the back of her head.

"My hairpiece!" Perry yelled.

Bree, who was clinging onto Nick like her life depended on it, nodded and shakily clapped her hands together.

"Okay, well, there you have it. The curse is real, and her hair is not" Bree said.

I growled and shook my head, already annoyed and angry.

"Fuck this!" I yelled.

The others looked at me questioningly, and before they could even ask me what was wrong I geo-leaped out of the room.

I made it to the training area since this is where Adam and Alexis said they'd be all day.

However when I got there, I let out a loud scream and quickly covered my eyes, scarred at what I just witnessed.

Adam and Alexis were in the middle of a make-out session.

Adam had Alexis pinned to the wall, her legs wrapped around his waist and her arms around his neck. Luckily they were both still wearing clothes, but Alexis's shirt was almost close to being off, and from what I saw her neck and shoulders were covered in hickeys.

Well...at least now I know how the others feel like when they walk in on me and Chase.

"Please, please get out of that position. I'm scarred enough as it is" I begged.

I heard both of them sigh in annoyance and heard Adam kissing Alexis on the cheek, before setting her down.

I removed my hands from my eyes, and sighed in relief.

"Any reason why you're here?" Adam asked, wrapping an arm around Alexis's waist.

"And any reason why you interrupted our moment together?" Alexis asked, glaring at me.

I glared back at her and shook my head, reminding myself why I was here.

Without saying anything, I grabbed both of them and geo-leaped back to the mentor headquarters.

When we got there the others were still there.

"Fess up, did you guys play a prank on us?" I asked, glaring at them with my arms crossed.

Adam and Alexis looked at each other before looking back at me.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Alexis asked in confusion.

"Perry brought a creepy ass skull from the island and now we're cursed. Bad things started happening!" I yelled.

Adam and Alexis looked at me in confusion while the others nodded.

"The knives came flying right at me!" Leo yelled.

"And the fireplace shot a fireball right at us!" Bree yelled.

"That's why my hair smells like barbecue" Perry said, making us look at her weirdly.

"That's not why your hair smells like barbecue" Nick said, shaking his head.

"Oh" Perry pouted.

"This is now officially a deathtrap island" Leo said.

Then his eyes went wide and he gasped in shock and worry as he looked at us.

"Just like in that movie Deathtrap Island" Leo said.

Perry and Nick gave him annoyed looks, while me and Bree rolled our eyes.

We heard footsteps and turned around to see Bob walking in, before we turned back to Adam and Alexis.

They both shook their heads at us and Adam waved his hands around.

"Okay, let me get this straight. Only the people who took the skull are cursed, right?" Adam asked.

"Yes" Leo nodded.

"Oh, cool. Then Bob, Alexis and I are all good" Adam smiled.

Alexis smiled and nodded, along with Bob, while the rest of us look angry and annoyed.

"Don't stand there, Bob. Bad things are gonna happen to 'em!" Adam yelled.

He grabbed Alexis by the arm and walked over to Bob, he shoved Leo away from him and dragged them away from us.

We all glared at him as me, Bree and Nick checked on Leo to make sure he was alright.

"Oh, you mean the knives and the ceiling fan? That wasn't a curse. That was Chase" Bob smiled.

Wait, what?

We all looked at each other with wide eyes and jaw drop as we looked at Bob in shock at what he said.

There's no way Chase would do something like this.

"What?" I asked, making me way over to him with the others following behind me.

"Yeah. I saw him setting up his own house of terror. He used his magnetism app to control those knives. I would've told you guys earlier, but I didn't want to ruin the surprise" Bob explained with a smile.

Adam smiled at him while the rest of us looked at him in complete shock.

Chase, my own boyfriend, was the one that did all that stuff.

He nearly killed Leo with those knives.

Why would he do this?

"That doesn't make any sense. Why would Chase do that?" Bree asked, looking at all of us.

Then all of a sudden Chase ran into the room, jumps and lands on the rock that's close to the outside.

My eyes widen more and my jaw dropped when I saw him. His face was pale, black bags under his eyes, his eyes were red and he had a deranged look on his face.

"Because I want to kill you!" Chase yelled.

All of us, except Bob, scream in fear as we backed away from him.

"The curse must've possessed him and made him crazy!" Leo yelled.

We all screamed and quickly ran out of the room, trying to get far away from him so we can come up with a plan.

In The Common Area

All of us were in the common area, wanting to stick together at all times since Chase was on the loose and he's trying to kill us.

"I don't get it. Why would the skull only curse Chase?" I asked, placing my hands on my hips.

"This is exactly what happened in that other movie, 'When Cursed Friends Kill', where a curse made this kid turn into a monster and go after all his friends" Leo explained, a thinking look on his face.

We all looked at him weirdly as Nick let out an exasperated sigh.

"Okay, where do you even find these movies?" Nick asked.

"I had to special order that one from Finland" Leo smiled.

"Ah, Finland. A little-known fact. They invented dogs" Adam smiled.

This made me and Alexis roll our eyes at him as Bree sighed.

"Okay, we have to stop Chase before he hurts anyone" Bree said and we all nodded.

Perry nodded and took out some laser handcuffs from her belt and handed them over to Bree.

"Here, robot, use my laser cuffs" Perry said.

Bree gave her an annoyed look before rolling her eyes and taking them, speeding away. A few seconds later, she speeded back into the room with Chase handcuffed.

Chase looked at us and growled, glaring at us while trying to get free.

"If this skull is really cursed, we have to get rid of it" Bree said, making Alexis nod.

"Bree's right. I'm taking it back to the island" Alexis said, taking the skull from Chase's hand.

"I'll come with you" Bree nodded, letting Chase go.

Alexis gave her a small smile and nodded. She pecked Adam on the lips, while Bree did the same with Nick.

Just before they could leave, Bob stopped them.

"Wait!" Bob yelled.

This caught all our attention, even Chase's, as they both looked at them.

"I'll miss you" Bob said, mostly looking at Bree.

Alexis sighed and shook her head while Bree rolled her eyes. They then superspeeded out of the room.

Adam and Nick quickly ran over to Chase and held onto him, not wanting him to run away.

We heard the hydraloop coming up and turn around to see the doors opening and Douglas coming up, holding a box.

However, when his eyes landed on Chase he looked at us with narrowed eyes.

"What's going on?" Douglas asked.

Before any of us could answer him, Perry ran over to him.

"You came back to rescue me!" Perry yelled.

Douglas looked at her weirdly while the rest of us were annoyed.

"Take me away from this place. We can live on the run. No looking back. I know a guy who can get us new passports and jobs at a tire factory in Uzbekistan!" Perry yelled, basically spitting in his face.

Douglas cringed in disgust and wiped his face with his hands.

Me and Leo glared at Perry and walked over to her.

"This is all your fault, Perry. You're the one who brought the skull back from the island and cursed my boyfriend!" I angrily yelled at her.

Leo nodded, backing me up, while Perry glared at me and motioned with her hands to get me to shut up.

Douglas looked at us with wide eyes in shock.

"You went to the island?! The one I said specifically not to go to?" Douglas asked, angry and annoyed at the same time.

"Sorry, Dougie. I've been a bad, bad girl. Let's work on my punishment together" Perry pouted, placing her chin on top of Douglas's box.

Alright, that made me uncomfortable.

Me and Leo fake gagged while Douglas shoved her away from his box and looked back at us.

"And while you were there, you found a skull made of shiny black metal?" Douglas asked.

This made me and Leo look at each other before looking back at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"How did you know that?" Leo asked.

Douglas sighed and set his box down and looked at all of us.

He walked over to where Chase was, pointed at him and shook his head.

"Because I know what's going on. It's not a curse. Chase has a virus that I created during my evil days. It turns people psychotic, and makes them want to annihilate everyone" Douglas explained, chuckling at the end.

Perry smiled at him while the rest of us gave him looks of disbelief.

"Why would you ever create such a thing?" Leo asked.

"I was going through a rough patch, and wanted to watch societies destroy each other" Douglas shrugged.

I sighed in annoyance while Leo groaned.

"Can you say anything wrong?" Perry asked, smiling widely and dreamily at him.

We all gave her weird and annoyed looks as Douglas began talking again.

"I never meant for it to be used. It was in my big box of evil. So when I saw that uninhabited island, I thought I might be able to bury my past where nobody would ever go" Douglas explained.

"Why didn't you just destroy the virus?" I asked.

Chase grabs Leo by the collar of his shirt, making Leo scream as Adam and Nick were quick to pry him off of Leo.

Leo stumbled towards me and I caught him, stopping him from falling to the ground.

"I guess I figured it would be good to have around in case I ever got the evil bug again" Douglas shrugged.

Perry sighed and shrugged, walking over to him.

"Spend enough time with me and you're bound to catch something" Perry said.

Gotta admit, that is true.

"You guys are cute. I should grab Bree, and we can double date" Bob smiled.

Perry smiled and nodded, while the rest of us gave him annoyed and weird looks.

He does realize that Bree's dating Nick, right?

And he's a pre-teen while Bree is a young adult.

"The skull was just an old paperweight. It got contaminated when I spilled some of the virus on it. That's why I buried it. Anyone who touches it becomes a crazed maniac" Douglas explained.

Chase then started cackling evilly and we all turned to him.

"Crazed maniac" Chase grinned, trying to get out of Adam and Nick's hold.

I sighed and shook my head. 

I looked at Perry, only to see her frowning and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"But I'm the one who found it, and it didn't turn me evil" Perry said, looking at Douglas.

"Probably because you're already there" Douglas said, waving his hand around.

Perry nodded in realization and snapped her fingers.

But then my eyes widened in realization and I looked at her.

"No, you were protected by the gloves you were wearing" I said and Leo nodded.

"Wait, so Chase turned into a deranged maniac because of the virus you created?" Adam asked.

"Yeah" Chase grinned, cackling evilly.

"This Halloween thing is way too complicated. When's the holiday where we go around the yard laying eggs?" Bob asked.

We all looked at him weirdly and sighed in slight annoyance.

We heard a gasp and turned around to see that it came from Leo.

"Guys. This is just like the movie where-" Leo started but we cut him off.

"SHUT IT!" all of us, minus Douglas, shouted it.

"Shut it!" Chase yelled at him, making Leo look at him in shock.

Douglas sighed in annoyance before walking over towards me and Leo.

"Where's the skull? We have to destroy it before anyone else gets infected" Douglas asked.

Mine and Leo's eyes widen in realization and we gasped loudly, gaining Douglas's attention as he looked at us with furrowed eyebrows.

"Bree and Alexis have it. They're taking it to the island" Leo said and I nodded.

"What?! If they touched it, they're infected. We have to find them before it's too late" Douglas said in worry.

I looked at Adam and Nick and saw worry flashing all over their face.

I groaned and tugged at my hair, worried that my sisters might already be infected.

"This is just like that...actually, this isn't like anything. I may go to Finland and pitch this to the studios" Leo said.

We all gave him annoyed looks and I smacked his arm.

"Look, Bob, watch Chase" Douglas said.

Bob nodded as Adam and Nick threw Chase to him and he grabbed him, holding onto him tightly so he wouldn't get free.

Once that was take care of, we all quickly ran out of the room to try and find my sisters.

A Few Minutes Later

A few minutes passed and we still couldn't find them. I already know that they're probably infected.

We were all heading back to the common area, when we heard Bob's voice.

"Guys. Anybody?" we heard Bob yelling.

We all looked at each other before running into the common area. When we got there we saw Bob is tied up to the pillar, wearing the laser handcuffs.

"Bob. What happened?" Nick asked.

"I found Alexis and Bree. They're infected now, too" Bob said.

I sighed in worry, along with Adam and Nick.

"You're lucky they didn't hurt you" Douglas said and we all nodded.

"Oh, they're going to. They just went to find a tool that will inflict the most pain" Bob said.

Our eyes widen in shock as we looked at each other before looking back at Bob.

"I think this may be the most attention Bree's ever given me" Bob smiled.

We all looked at him weirdly and just shook our heads, too worried about my boyfriend and sisters to make any comment about what Bob said.

We quickly untied him and took the cuffs off of him.

Douglas was sitting by the console, trying to think of something to help Alexis, Bree and Chase.

"You know, when I made the virus, I probably should've created an antidote for it" Douglas said as we walked over to him.

"You don't have an antidote?" Leo asked.

This made Douglas sigh in annoyance as he turned around and gave Leo an annoyed look.

"No. When creating deadly viruses, the cure is somebody else's problem" Douglas sarcastically said.

Leo gave him an annoyed look, making Douglas sigh and look back at us, chuckling lightly at the end.

"There's no cure for what I got for you, either" Perry smiled, obviously flirting.

Douglas gave her a weird look while I gagged in disgust, along with Adam and Nick.

"The virus has infected their human tissue. We'd have to be surgeons to remove it" Douglas explained.

"Great. So we send Bob to medical school, and meet back here in 20 years" Adam smiled.

Bob smiled and nodded, agreeing with him. While the rest of us looked at him as if he only had one braincell.

 "Actually, better make it 21. I need a year to find myself" Adam said, placing a hand on his chest.

"Adam, that would never work. No offense, but I really doubt Bob would last a second in Medical School" I said.

It was true.

Bob's a mini version of Adam.

I highly doubt either of them would survive a second in medical school. Or any other school for that matter.

"What about Big D's nano-bots? They're like microscopic surgeons that seek out diseased cells and destroy them" Leo suggested.

I raised an eyebrow at him and hummed thoughtfully, that might actually work.

Douglas looked at Leo in slight shock and confusion and raised an eyebrow at him.

"But he told me he didn't bring those to the island" Douglas said.

"That's because he didn't want you using them to experiment on the students" Nick said, stating the obvious.

Douglas went to defend himself, before stopping and nodding his head.

"Yeah, that was a good call" Douglas said and we all nodded.

A Few Minutes Later

After Leo had gotten the nano-bots Douglas immediately got to work on it to create something that would help Alexis, Bree and Chase.

Adam had gone off to try and find them, to warn us if they would be coming our way or not.

Douglas was done with what he was doing and turned to all us, pointing at the tranquilizer pen he made.

"I put the nano-bots in this high-tech tranquilizer pen. We just have to get close enough to Alexis, Bree and Chase to inject them into their bloodstream" Douglas explained.

"Let's go find them" I said and we all nodded.

Just when we were about to head into the training area, the door opened, revealing Alexis.

My eyes widen at how she looked. Pale skin, red eyes, an evil smirk on her face and she was holding a knife in her hand.

"No need" Alexis smirked.

We all screamed and turned around to try and run the other way before Chase and Bree ran into the room, knives in their hands as well.

"We found you" Chase smirked, Bree smirking and nodding.

We all looked at each other, not knowing what to do.

Douglas then yelled and charged at Alexis to try and inject her with the tranquilizer pen, but she superspeeded towards Bree and Chase.

This made Douglas fall to the ground and groan in pain.

He quickly tossed the tranquilizer pen to Nick, who caught it.

He geo-leaped in front of Bree and tried to inject her, but she punched him in the face and shoved him away.

Nick fell to the ground with a loud thud, he groaned in pain before tossing me the tranquilizer pen.

I quickly caught it and geo-leaped in front of Chase.

He tried punching me, but I kicked his legs from underneath him. He fell to the ground and landed on his back.

I took the opportunity to kick the knife out of his hand and jumped on top of him.

I tried injecting him, but Alexis superspeeded towards me and grabbed me by the hair. I yelled out in pain as she pulled me off of Chase.

She released her hold on my hair, kneed me in the stomach before shoving me away.

Douglas, who had recovered a few seconds ago, lunged towards me and caught me before I could make contact with the ground.

I groaned and tossed the tranquilizer pen to Leo, who quickly caught it.

Douglas pulled me away and towards Nick, Perry and Bob. Bob checking on Nick, making sure he was ok.

"Are you alright?" Douglas asked.

"I'm fine. Thanks" I said, panting just a bit.

He nodded and looked at Nick, who nodded too, rubbing his jaw.

Douglas sighed in relief and helped me stand, I nearly fell but managed to steady myself.

We all turned towards Leo, who tried to inject Chase, but he used his molecular kinesis to throw it across the room.

Leo looked scared and ran towards us. When we were all together, we tried running into the training area, but Alexis and Bree superspeeded towards the door, blocking it.

We all looked at each other in worry. Me and Nick stood in front of the others, shielding them as we started backing away from them and walked up the stairs.

"Oh, I don't like this. I wanna be a blank slate again!" Bob yelled, clutching onto my arm.

Alexis, Bree and Chase were slowly walking towards us, but stopped when Adam walked into the room.

"Trick or treat" Adam grinned.

I looked at him, and my heart dropped when I saw the state he was in. 

Pale skin and red eyes. Just like Alexis, Bree and Chase.

"Adam, take 'em out!" Douglas yelled, but Adam shook his head.

"Actually, I'm gonna take you out" Adam grinned evilly.

The others looked at him in shock while me and Nick looked at each other in worry.

"Let's do it, guys" Adam said, turning to the others.

They all nodded, grinning and laughing evilly and stood next to each other. Their weapons in their hands, ready to use it on us.

"Oh, no. He must've touched the skull, too. There's no way we can fight off four deranged bionic superhumans" Leo said, clearly worried.

"You're right, Dooley. We are all gonna die. You first" Perry said.

She shoved him towards the others, but Nick quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him back towards us, shoving him behind me and him.

Me and Nick looked at each other and nodded.

We stood next to each other and behind the others protectively, getting into a fighting stance.

Then all of a sudden, Adam took out the pen and injected it into Bree and Chase's necks. Quickly doing the same to Alexis.

All of their eyes rolled to the back of their heads and they dropped their weapons, dropping to the ground, unconscious.

We all looked at each other, not knowing what to say or do, but we were all very much confused as to what just happened.

We looked at Adam, who looked completely normal and not deranged like Alexis, Bree and Chase.

"What just happened?" Bob asked as we slowly walked over to Adam.

"I used my heat vision to fake like I was infected so I could get close enough to 'em, to inject 'em" Adam grinned, making a popping noise.

Our eyes widen in shock when he said that and we nodded at him.

"Good thinking. But how'd you get your skin to look like that?" Leo asked, gesturing to his face.

"Oh, I used some of Bree's makeup. She's got some good stuff in her purse. Smell me. It's razzleberry body mist" Adam grinned.

He held out his arm and began waving his scent towards us.

We all smelt it and to be honest it was really nice. Gotta ask Bree to let me borrow some.

"Adam, I can't believe you came up with that idea all on your own" Douglas said in shock, but I can tell he was impressed.

"Yeah. This may be the smartest thing you've ever done" Nick smiled, patting him on the shoulder.

Everyone nodded, agreeing with him as Adam smiled at us and nodded.

"Yep, who knew it would come down to me and this little tranquilizer to save the day" Adam smiled.

Then all of a sudden he accidentally injected himself with the tranquilizer pen, thus resulting in him losing conscious and falling to the ground.

We looked down at his unconscious form and sighed, shaking our heads.

Well, it lasted for a good few minutes.

Douglas and Leo went to check on Adam, while Perry and Bob went to check on Alexis.

Nick quickly ran over to Bree and crouched down, bringing her body to his lap. He kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly in his arms.

I quickly ran to Chase and crouched down, bringing his body up and hugging him tightly.

I looked down and smiled when I saw that the pale skin was slowly fading away, along with the black bags underneath his eyes.

Releasing a sigh of relief, I placed a gentle kiss to his forehead and pulled him closer, slowly rocking back and forth.

A Few Hours Later
In The Mentor Headquarters

A few hours had passed and Adam, Alexis, Bree and Chase woke up.

Luckily they were back to normal, but they didn't remember anything of what they did.

So right now we were all in the mentor headquarters. I was sitting in between Nick and Chase on the couch.

Bree was sitting on Nick's lap, his hands wrapped protectively around her waist, with her hands resting on top of his.

Perry sat on the arm of the couch, Alexis sitting on the other arm of the couch. Adam stood behind her, his arms wrapped around her waist and chin resting on her shoulder.

Leo was sitting on a chair while Douglas was standing.

I had my arms wrapped around Chase's waist, my head resting on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

"You guys really don't remember anything about becoming possessed and trying to destroy us?" Leo asked.

"Nope" Alexis, Bree and Chase said.

"And you don't remember borrowing $200 from me?" Perry asked.

"Nope" Alexis, Bree and Chase said.

"Then it was $300" Perry smiled, holding her hand out to them.

Alexis glared at her and smacked her hand away, making us snort while Perry glared at her.

"I don't understand any of this. And how come there was a potato in front of my face when I came to?" Chase asking, picking up the potato that was resting on his lap.

He looked at it weirdly and slowly began moving it.

"It's weird. It's like its eyes are following me" Chase said, obviously creeped out.

I gave him a weird look and sighed while shaking my head.

"Well, it's time to get that skull back where it belongs. Buried with the rest of my evil past" Douglas said.

We all nodded, not wanting the skull to be at this academy any longer.

We started looking around the room, trying to find it. 

"Now, where is it?" Nick asked.

We heard footsteps and turned around to see Bob walking into the room.

And my heart dropped when I saw him holding the skull. His face pale, black bags underneath his eyes and his eyes were red.

"It's right here" Bob grinned.

We all looked at each other before looking at him with wide eyes in shock.

"I'm going to destroy you all. Merry Halloween" Bob grinned evilly at us.

Adam groaned, kissed Alexis's head, before getting up and walking towards Bob.

"Come on, Bob. You know you're not supposed to touch that. Give it to me" Adam said, taking the skull from him.

We all groaned in annoyance and frustration.

I threw my hands up in frustration and tugged on my hair.

"I'll go get the nano-bots" Leo sighed, getting up and walking away.

"I'm coming with you" Alexis said, getting up and following behind him.

I sighed and shook my head and snuggled closer to Chase. He chuckled and kissed my head, making me smile.

It feels good to have him back.
