Two Weeks Later
Luna's Pov

Life at the academy just hasn't been the same anymore. 

It's been two weeks since Leo left and everything has just been sad and dull.

I miss him, I miss my best friend, my brother in everything but blood. No matter how many times he gets on my nerves, I love him and I miss him so much.

Right now me and the others are in the mentor headquarters, on a video call with Leo.

"It's really weird not having you here, Leo. Everybody really misses you" Bree said, making Alexis nod.

"It's been two weeks. When are you coming back?" Nick asked.

"I'm sorry, guys. When I said I was done, I meant it. I've hung up my mission suit forever" Leo said.

"Then can I have it? I found a guy in Japan who's willing to pay top dollar" Adam said.

I glared at him while Alexis smacked him upside the head.

"I appreciate the call, but things are actually great back here. Uh, school is much better without Perry and I get to spend a ton of time with my mom" Leo explained, smiling.

"Every sixteen-year-old boy's dream" Bree sarcastically said, making me giggle just a bit.

Nick sighed and gave Leo a sad look.

"Are you sure we can't change your mind?" Nick softly asked.

I frowned and gently placed my hand on his shoulder for some comfort.

I know that he misses Leo just as much as I do, those two are best friends and I know that Nick really wants him to come back.

Me and him made up a few days ago and we're back on good terms.

However...me and Alexis are still not talking to each other.

If she's waiting for me to apologize, she's going to be waiting for forever.

She's the one that should apologize to me, for yelling at me when I did nothing but defend my best friend who's my brother in everything but blood.

Nick apologized because he realized he was wrong.

While she's being a stubborn bitch and is expecting me to apologize.

Well if she thinks she's stubborn, guess what, I'm stubborn too.

"Sorry, guys. I'm staying here. I gotta go. Mom's hosting her book club tonight, and I'm in charge of dessert. Turns out, my laser sphere has caramelized the perfect crème brulée" Leo smiled.

"Ooh, that sounds good" Alexis smiled and Adam nodded.

"Do I, uh, have to read a book to get in on that?" Adam asked.

"Later, guys" Leo said, waving at us before cutting the video call.

We all sighed as I ran my hands through my hair.

Bree groaned and turned to us, a guilty look in his eyes.

"I feel bad. We should've given him more credit" Bree said, turning to us.

"I know. And he deserves to be up there with us at the award ceremony tomorrow" Chase said.

I scoffed, crossed my arms and glared at all of them.

"Something that I tried telling all of you, but no, ignore me and make yourselves feel superior and act like your best friend/brother is lower than you" I scoffed, glaring pointedly at Alexis.

She glared back at me and opened her mouth to say something but Nick grabbed her arm.

He glared at her and shook her head, telling her to keep her mouth shut.

She gave him a disbelieving look before rolling her eyes and nodding. 

"Luna's right. And he deserves to be up there with us at the award ceremony tomorrow" Chase said.

"Couldn't agree with you more. And that's why he's gonna be. Say hello to the newest member of the bionic team" Adam said.

He then pulls out a cardboard cutout of Leo.

The others looked at him weirdly while I sighed and shook my head with a small smile.

"What is that?" Nick asked.

"Uh, it's a life-size cardboard cutout of Leo, hence the name Cardboard Leo. Pay attention, Nick. This stuff isn't that hard" Adam said, as if he were talking to a child.

Nick glared at him and tried walking towards him but Bree grabbed his arm and pulled him to her side.

"I think what my boyfriend means is, are you crazy?" Bree asked.

"Yeah, babe, we can't bring that to the ceremony" Alexis said.

"Sure we can, bring him and leave you, win win" I smirked.

The others snorted while Alexis glared at me, but I just smirked more and shrugged at her.

"Of course we can, and if things get boring, I'm gonna fold him into an airplane and fly him around" Adam grinned.

He put his arm out in the air, still holding the cardboard cutout and started playing plane with it.

"Whee!" Adam yelled.

We all looked at each other and sighed, shaking our heads.

In The Common Area

Me, the trio, Nick and Alexis were walking with dad as he was explaining everything for tomorrow.

Maybe now will be a good time to tell him what I've been meaning to tell him.

"So 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, we'll take the hydraloop to the mainland, and we will travel to the President's award ceremony in my self-driving limo" Dad smiled.

The others smiled and nodded while Adam gasped.

"I call shotgun!" Adam yelled.

We all turned and gave him weird looks.

Alexis sighed and placed her hands on his shoulders.

"Adam, babe, it's a limo. Everyone rides in the back" Alexis said and the others nodded.

"You sit where you want. I will still be holding the shotgun" Adam said.

None of us were in the mood to argue with him so we just sighed and nodded.

" Once the president is dazzled, I will undoubtedly be showered with a big, fat contract and piles of cash, which I just might share with you six" Dad grinned.

"Really?" Bree asked.

"No" Dad scoffed, chuckling at the end.

I rolled my eyes as Chase wrapped an arm around my shoulder and gave dad an annoyed look.

"Wait, wait, wait. So even though it's our award ceremony, now it's become all about you?" Chase asked in annoyance.

"You know, for the smartest man in the world, it really took you a long time to figure that out" Dad scoffed.

He kissed my head and walked away.

"Dad, wait!" I yelled, but it was too late, he was already gone.

I sighed in annoyance and shook my head.

Me and the others turn around to see Douglas, Taylor, and Logan walking in.

"Taylor!" me and Bree yelled.

"Taylor!" Alexis, Chase and Nick yelled.

We all ran over to her and pulled her into a tight group hug, which she immediately returned with a small giggle.

When we pulled away Adam smiled and made his way over to her.

"Hey! Good to see you up and around. Just so you know, this is Adam" Adam smiled, saying what he was saying in a really loud voice.

We all gave him annoyed looks as Taylor frowned.

"I lost my vision, not my hearing" Taylor deadpanned.

Adam gave her an offended look and turned around and leaned closer towards us.

"She obviously didn't lose that nasty attitude either" Adam scoffed.

We all glared at him as Alexis smacked him upside the head while I smacked his arm.

"What are those glasses?" Chase asked, pointing at the glasses she was wearing.

"My latest piece of technology that I customized for her. High-tech lenses that use a series of laser-guided sensors to enhance her spatial awareness" Douglas explained.

Taylor smiled and nodded.

"They don't allow me to see in the traditional sense, but they vibrate to let me know" Taylor said, stopping as she was close to making contact with the console.

We hear the glasses vibrate, making us smile as she smiled as well and moved away from the console.

"When there's an obstacle in my path" Taylor smiled, giggling at the end.

"That's so cool. I wanna try" Logan smiled.

He walks over to her and reaches for the glasses, but Taylor quickly grabs his arm and twists it behind his back.

"Ow. So sorry, so sorry. Please don't hurt me" Logan begged, clearly in pain.

Taylor gave him a sarcastic smile before letting him go, making him sigh in relief.

I giggled and shook my head at her.

Even without her vision she can kick ass, she's totally my sister too.

"Hey, I'm impressed, Taylor. You've made a lot of progress in a few weeks" Nick smiled, wrapping his arm around Bree's waist.

"Thanks. I have been working really hard. Have any of you guys spoken to Leo? I was hoping someone convinced him to come back to the academy by now" Taylor asked.

We all looked at each other before looking back at her, frowning and shaking our heads.

"We talked to him earlier today, but no luck. He won't change his mind" Alexis said.

We all nodded as I sighed and ran my hands through my hair.

"Oh, yeah, it's really annoying when people don't understand what you're going through" Adam loudly said, looking at Taylor.

We all gave him exasperated looks as Alexis pinches the bridge of her nose, Taylor makes a face before leaving the room.

Adam scoffed and looked at us.

"You see, there's that attitude again" Adam said, shaking his head.

This earned him, yet again, another smack upside the head from Alexis.

In The Mentor Headquarters

Me and the others were in the mentor headquarters, relaxing.

Bree was holding two dresses in her hands, showing them to me and Alexis, and surprisingly Chase too.

"Hey, which dress do you like better for the ceremony? Red or black?" Bree asked.

I shrugged while Alexis was looking at both of them carefully.

Nick shrugged just like I did as Chase looked up from his magazine and shrugged too.

"What do I know?" Chase asked, making her sigh in slight annoyance.

"Come on, I need some advice on what to wear for the ceremony tomorrow. I want to be dressed perfectly and I need you guys to help" Bree said.

Nick sighed and shook his head at her.

"Angel it doesn't matter what you wear, you look beautiful in anything, and that's a fact" Nick softly smiled at her.

Bree blushed and smiled at him and sent him a wink and blew him a kiss.

He chuckled and blew her a kiss back.

"Well, I'm sorry, but I'm not gonna help since I know nothing about this stuff" Chase scoffed, looking back down at his magazine.

I glared at him and smacked his arm, making him sigh.

"Though I will admit that the red is the obvious match for your skin tone" Chase said.

Bree smiled and looked at the red dress, making Alexis nod.

"I agree, go with the red one" Alexis said.

"Hmm, what do you think Luna?" Bree asked, turning to me.

I looked at her and sighed.

"Go with the black. It looks better on you than the red. Besides, Nick is going to be wearing a black tuxedo, might as well match with your boyfriend" I explained.

Bree put her thinking face on and looked at both dresses.

She smiled and nodded at the black dress and looked at me.

"You're right Luna, black dress it is" Bree smiled.

I gave her a small smile and nodded before resting my head on Chase's shoulder.

"You know sweetheart, you're really good at that" Chase said, kissing my head.

"I know, it's a gift" I smirked, making him chuckle.

We heard footsteps and turned around to see Adam walking in with cardboard cutout Leo.

"Hey, Chase, which one of these outfits look better on Cardboard Leo? Blue...or black?" Adam asked.

We all looked at each other before looking back at him with weird looks.

"Why are you dressing up Cardboard Leo?" Chase asked.

"Hey, it I have to wear a suit to the award ceremony, so does he. But, the joke's on you because we're both going commando" Adam grinned.

I let out a small laugh at that and shook my head at him.

Alexis shook her head at him and stood up.

"Adam, get rid of that thing" Alexis said and Chase nodded.

"No! When real Leo watches from home, I want him to feel like he's still an important part of our team" Adam yelled.

I had to admit...that was actually really sweet.

Me and Nick both gave him small smiles and he gave us one back.

"Have you lost your mind? This is not our brother, it's a piece of cardboard" Bree scoffed.

"No, it's four pieces of cardboard and I spent an extra $250 on the glossy finish so you will respect him" Adam sternly said.

Bree sighed and shook her head.

"I give up" Bree said as she grabbed her two dresses and left the room.

"Same" Alexis sighed.

She stopped to give Adam a small peck on the cheek before leaving the room.

Chase sighed and shook his head as he put his magazine down, kissed my temple and got up from the couch.

"Me too" Chase said.

But before he could leave the room, he stopped and looked at Adam and pointed at the blue suit.

"But, go with the blue. It's all the rage this season" Chase smiled before leaving.

Adam gasped before smiling and nodding.

Me and Nick looked at each other and just let out small barks of laughter.

The Next Day
In The Common Area

It was the day of the awards ceremony and everyone was getting dressed for today.

Since I won't be going, I've remained in my mentor uniform and decided that I might as well break the news to everyone before they leave.

I'm not going to some stupid award ceremony if Leo isn't.

As much as he gets on my nerves, I'm not participating in something that doesn't include my brother.

So, I quickly tied my hair into a ponytail before leaving my room to go find the others.

When I walked into the common area I saw everyone already there.

The guys were in their tuxedos and fixing their shoes.

Bree was helping Nick with his tie, she was all dressed up and I was completely right, the black dress is amazing on her.

I looked at Alexis to see her standing next to Adam as he was putting on her favorite necklace.

She wore a short black sleeve dress, black high heels and her hair was nicely straightened.

Yeah, my sisters look drop dead gorgeous.

I then looked at Chase, only to see him struggling with his tie. I giggled and made my way over to help him.

"Here, let me" I smiled as I started doing his tie for him.

Chase sighed in relief and sent me a grateful smile.

"Thank you sweetheart, I was having so much trouble doing it that I was about to explode" Chase said.

I giggled and nodded before I was finally done with it.

Dad furrowed his eyebrows at me in confusion and walked over to me.

"Pumpkin, what are you doing? Why aren't you dressed?" Dad asked.

"Yeah, we're leaving right now and you're not even dressed" Douglas said, walking over to stand next to dad.

This made the others look at me in confusion as I sighed and ran my hands through my hair.

Well, here goes nothing I guess.

"Look guys, this was something that I wanted to tell you yesterday. But since I couldn't do that yesterday, I'm going to do it now. The reason I'm not dressed is because I'm not going" I said.

Their eyes widened in shock and their jaws dropped.

"WHAT?!" everyone shouted at me.

I winced and covered my ears, seriously these people know how to kill someone's eardrums.

"What do you mean you're not going? You have to go, sweetheart" Chase said.

"Yeah, you're apart of the team Luna. If we're going you have to go too" Bree said.

"Yeah, lil sis, it's not gonna be the same without you" Adam said.

I scoffed and glared at all of them in anger and disbelief.

Are they serious right now?

Leo should be going with us too, he deserves to be there and it won't be the same without him either.

But is he going, no, no he's not.

"Oh yeah, what about Leo? Huh? Leo is also apart of this team, he's been on missions with us since the very first day he joined. He's risked his lives countless of times and gotten hurt or was in a near death experience on those missions. He should be going to the awards ceremony too. He deserves it just as much as we do. But is he going? No, no he's not. Because apparently some people are too blind and stupid to appreciate everything he has done for us!" I angrily snapped at them.

They all flinched at my angry tone while I continued glaring at all of them.

I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm myself.

When I was calm, I reopened them and let out a small soft sigh as I ran my hands through my hair.

"It's not going to be the same without Leo. He's my best friend, my brother in everything but blood, he deserves to get an award just as much as we do. But no, he's not going to be there with us because some people don't appreciate him. Nor give him enough credit" I said.

I then looked at Alexis and Nick and shook my head before looking back at dad.

"As much as I'm happy that Alexis and Nick are getting awards, it's not fair. Leo has been on this team way before them. Yet, they're the ones that get noticed and not him. I don't see how it's fair that they get awards while Leo is singled out" I said.

Alexis frowned and gave me a hurt look, by the looks of it she wanted to say something, but she bit her lip to stop herself.

Nick looked hurt too, but I can see it in his eyes that I was right.

I know I am.

I sighed and looked at dad.

"I'm not going. If Leo isn't going, I see no reason why I should go too. It's not going to be the same without my brother. So, you guys run along, I'll stay here with the students" I said.

It was dead silent.

Literally, dead silent.

The others looked at each other before looking back at me, not knowing what to say or do.

The silence was broken by dad who let out a small sigh and walked over to me.

"Alright, if you don't want to come then you don't have to. I won't force you to go somewhere you don't want to" Dad softly said.

I gave him a faint smile and nodded, grateful that he respects my decision in not wanting to go.

He sighed and placed a gentle kiss to my forehead.

"I'll make sure to tell Mr. President to give me your medal and I'll give it to you when we get back" Dad softly said.

I nodded as he gave me one last kiss on the forehead before walking away.

Bree and Adam walked over to me and gave me hugs, I hugged them back before they both quickly left.

Douglas and Nick did the same before they left.

Chase sighed and walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I sighed and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his forehead.

"I'm going to miss you. It won't be the same without you at the ceremony" Chase softly said.

I gave him a small smile and placed a kiss to his nose.

"I know bubba, but I made up my mind. I'm not going, you're not changing my mind" I softly said.

He sighed and nodded.

He leaned down and pressed his lips onto mine, making me kiss him back.

It lasted for a few seconds before we pulled away and pressed our foreheads against each others.

"I love you" Chase whispered.

"I love you too" I whispered back.

He gave me one last peck on the lips before walking away.

I sighed and turned around to face the last person here, Alexis.

She looked at me and frowned and gently walked closer to me.

"Are you really not going to come?" Alexis softly asked.

I gave her a blank stare and slowly nodded, looking away from her.

"But...but why? You're apart of the team...you deserve to be there with us" Alexis softly said.

I turned to her, scoffed and rolled my eyes at her.

"And as I said before, Leo deserves to be there with us too. But no, he's not going to be there because people like you don't see that" I angrily said.

"Luna-" Alexis started but I cut her off.

"Alexis, just fucking go!" I angrily snapped at her.

She flinched at my tone and looked at me with a frown on her face, sadness shown in her eyes and I can also see some...guilt.

I sighed and turned away from her and grabbed my tablet.

"Go, alright. Just go and have fun at the stupid award ceremony. If you'll excuse me, I've got some students to train" I said.

I walked away from her, not making an effort to look back.

But I bit my lip as hard as I could, stopping myself from crying as I entered the training area.

A Few Hours Later

Being stuck at the academy was a bit annoying.

But, at least my siblings were here with me and that's all I needed.

Though, I wish Leo was here, we would be setting up some pranks or watching movies in my room while eating some snacks.

Sighing, I walked into the common area, only to see the students huddled around each other while looking at the big screen.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion before walking towards them.

"Hey, what's going on?" I asked.

The students only pointed at the big screen, making me frown.

I walked over to Taylor and Logan and looked at the big screen, only to see that the news channel was on.

Apparently there's an accident at the Hurst Memorial Bridge.

"It's bad. There's still tons of civilians on that bridge" Logan said in worry.

"We've got to rescue them" Taylor said.

Hold up?

Why aren't the trio, Alexis, Nick or dad doing anything?

I know that they're out right now for the awards ceremony, but I know that they wouldn't ignore something as important as this.

My eyes widened in shock when I took a closer look at the screen and saw dad's limo dangling from the edge of the bridge.

Oh my gosh.

They're trapped in the limo and that's why they haven't started the mission.

Logan must've realized that it was dad's limo and his eyes widened in shock.

"Wait. That's Mr. Davenport's limo. Adam, Bree, Chase, Alexis and Nick must be trapped inside, or they would've started the rescue by now" Logan said, turning to look at me and Taylor.

I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths before reopening my eyes.

A determined look came across my face and I turned to look at my siblings.

"Listen up, guys. I know you've never been on a mission, but you can do this. Get moving. I'll send the coordinates" I sternly said.

They all nodded and immediately took off to get whatever they needed before heading out.

I turned to look at Taylor and Logan.

"You guys, get Leo on the phone, I'm going to get changed into my mission suit" I said.

They both nodded and I geo-leaped out of there and into the mentor headquarters.

I ran inside my capsule and immediately got changed into my mission suit.

Once that was done, I geo-leaped back to the common area and ran back over to Taylor and Logan.

I looked at the big screen and saw that they managed to get Leo on the call.

"Can't talk, Big D. The crème brulée was such a hit last night, the book club gals came back for brunch. Alm it up, Betty!" Leo yelled, mixing a few things around.

Me and Taylor sighed while Logan looked shocked and turned to us.

"Wait. He can cook? Is there anything this guy can't do?" Logan asked.

Me and Taylor gave him 'really' looks and he held his hands up in surrender.

Leo looked up and when he saw Taylor his eyes widen in shock and guilt.

He smiled softly at her and took off his apron.

"Taylor. It's good to see you. I heard you've been training" Leo said.

Taylor let a faint smile appear on her face while I sighed and shook my head.

"Leo, forget about that. There's been a horrible accident with our family's limo" I said in a serious tone.

His eyes widen in shock and worry.

"What? Where?" Leo asked.

"The Hurst Memorial bridge. The limo's barely hanging on. I know you quit the team, but your family needs you" Taylor said.

"Yeah, Leo I know you're not apart of the team anymore, but our family's life is on the line. We can't do this without you" I sternly but softly said.

Leo looked hesitant at first before sighing and nodding.

"Okay, I'll meet you three there" Leo said.

Me and Logan nodded while Taylor frowned and shook her head.

"Wait. I'm not going" Taylor said.

This made our eyes widen as we looked at her in shock.

"Why not?" Leo asked.

"I can't see. I'd just be in the way" Taylor said.

I gave her a small smile and sighed while shaking my head, Leo doing the same as he leaned in closer to the screen.

"Do you have any idea how times I've been in the way on a mission?" Leo asked.

"Yeah. Chase told me. 31 and a half" Taylor shrugged.

Me and Logan snorted while Leo looked annoyed, but he shook that off and gave her a stern look.

"Look, you're not gonna be in the way. You've still got a lot to offer, and we need your help" Leo said.

I nodded as me and Logan looked at her with a pleading look in our eyes.

"I don't know" Taylor said, still looking hesitant.

"Don't worry. We're gonna make it though this together. All four of us" Leo said with a gentle smile.

I smiled back at her and nodded, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

She sighed before smiling and nodding.

"All right. Let's do it" Taylor said.

"Great, you guys go with the students. Leo, I'm bringing your mission suit and I'm going to geo-leap back home so you can get changed there. I'll geo-leap us to the bridge when you're done" I explained.

"Got it" Leo nodded.

I nodded before hanging up.

Me, Taylor and Logan looked at each other before nodding and taking off in different directions.

At the Hurst Memorial Bridge

Alright, it took us a while to get to where we needed to be since we were both in a rush that we were stressed out.

I finally geo-leaped me and Leo to the right place.

When we got there, we saw many students helping people and they're doing an amazing job.

I'm really proud of them.

Me and Leo spotted Taylor and Logan and ran over to them.

"Sorry we're late, we were in such a rush that someone geo-leaped us to the wrong bridge" Leo said, turning to glare at me.

I glared back at him and smacked him upside the head.

I sighed before turning to Taylor and Logan.

"You'll be happy to know all is well on the Norcal connector" I said.

Taylor and Leo gave me weird looks, while Logan looked a bit amused before shaking his head.

"That's the last of the civilians" Logan said, pointing at all the civilians.

Me and Leo nodded as I turned to the students.

"Get them off the bridge and set up the triage area" I sternly said.

They all nodded and quickly guided the civilians off the bridge so that they would be safe.

"Where's the limo?" Leo asked.

"Over there" Logan said, pointing over to the other side.

Me and Leo turned and my heart dropped when I saw the limo dangling from the edge of the bridge.

My heart sunk and I could feel my knees growing weak.

My family was trapped in there, clearly scared and worried.

And if we don't think of a plan to get them out of there in time, they won't live to see another day.

"Leo, Luna, can you guys hear me? Leo? Luna?" we heard dad's voice coming from the limo.

All four of us looked at each other before me and Leo nodded.

"Yes, Big D, I can hear you. We're coming to get you!" Leo yelled.

We started walking but then stopped when we heard dad's voice again.

"No. It's too unstable. I don't want you guys to get hurt" Dad said.

I sighed and ran my hands through my hair in frustration.

"Listen to me very carefully. We're locked in. See that silver shark fin on the rear windshield?" Dad asked.

Me and the others started scanning the limo, trying to find the silver shark fin.

Finally I spotted it and rapidly nodded.

"I see it!" I yelled.

"That's the housing unit for the computer system. I need you to find a way to disable it. Then it will release the locks, and we can climb out" Dad explained.

Me and the others looked at each other before looking back at the limo.

"Got it!" Leo yelled.

I sighed and looked at the others, confused and worried.

"What are we going to do? How are we going to disable that thing?" I asked.

Taylor opened her mouth to speak when we heard Bree's voice from inside the limo.

"They can do this. Right?" Bree asked.

Then we heard Douglas scoffing at her.

"What do you think? Our lives are in the hands of a newbie, a quitter, a blind girl and the scariest girl in the world" Douglas sarcastically said.

All four of us made offended noises and our faces showed that we were offended by what they said.

Did they forget that we're still here and that we can hear them?

"We can still hear you!" Leo angrily yelled.

"And Douglas if you weren't trapped in that limo right now, I'd kick your ass!" I angrily yelled at him.

"And, boy aren't we lucky?" Douglas said, nervously chuckling at the end.

I made a move to walk towards the limo, but Taylor held me back and shook her head.

"We gotta figure out a way to disable that computer system" Logan said and we all nodded.

We heard a noise and turned around to see the car jolting and it started rocking slightly too.

I heard the others screaming in fear, making my heart clench in worry.

Leo's eyes then widened as he gasped and looked at us.

"Wait. Our EMP ability. It disables any electrical charge. If we generate a sphere, then Logan can guide it to take out the limo's computer" Leo explained.

I gasped, along with Taylor and Logan, before smiling and nodding.

"Yes! That's gotta work!" I yelled.

"I agree" Taylor nodded.

"Let's do it" Logan said.

I took a step back, as did Logan, while Leo and Taylor stood in front of each other and held hands.

As they're holding hands, a sphere of energy accumulates in their hands, making me exhale in anticipation.

"Keep going" Logan said and I nodded.

The sphere needed to be a bit bigger if we want the thing to disable.

Then all of a sudden, Leo quickly released his hand from Taylor's and took a few steps back.

We all looked at him confused, especially when we saw complete fear in his eyes.

"What's the matter? Why'd you stop?" Taylor asked.

Leo looked at me, then at Logan before looking at her and he shook his head.

"I can't do this. What if I hurt you again? What if I hurt them? I don't wanna ruin anyone else's life" Leo said, sadness shown in his voice.

My heart immediately clenched and my eyes softened.

He's still guilty about that day.

He thinks that it's his fault now that Taylor is blind and will never get her eyesight back.

But he needs to understand that it was an accident and that he didn't mean to blind her on purpose.

I walked over to him and gently placed my hands on his shoulders, leaning forward so our foreheads were pressed against each others.

"Leo, buddy, you didn't ruin her life. It was an accident" I softly said.

I placed a sisterly kiss to his forehead before pulling away from him.

Taylor nodded and walked over to stand next to me.

"And if I'm not gonna let it stop me from being a bionic hero, why should you? This is it, Leo. This is your chance to prove you're the leader I know you are. So...are you in?" Taylor asked, holding her hand out for him.

Leo looked at both of us in shock.

Not only that, but I can see a slight blush on his cheeks.

I would've smirked at that if my family wasn't in a crazy life threatening situation right now.

Leo took a deep breath before nodding.

"Yeah. I'm in" Leo nodded.

I smiled at him and nodded as he took her hand.

But then all of a sudden Taylor turned her head around, dropping Leo's hand.

"What's wrong?" Leo asked in worry.

She didn't say anything, she looked like she was deep in thought, as if she were listening to something.

I opened my mouth to say something when she gasped.

"Duck!" Taylor yelled.

She quickly ran at us and shoved us to the ground.

And because of that, she saved us from almost getting hurt, or worse killed, from the bridge cable that snapped.

We were panting heavily and sat up from the ground, looking at Taylor.

"How'd you know that was gonna happen?" Leo asked.

"I heard the sound wave of the cable when it snapped. Ever since I lost my sight, all of my other senses have increased" Taylor explained, smiling.

"Really?" Logan asked and she nodded.

I smiled at her and nudged her arm, making her look at me.

"Even if you can't see, at least your other senses are getting better" I smiled.

This made her smile and nod before nudging me in the arm. This made all four of us laugh and shake our heads.

"Hello. Sliding off a bridge over here!" we heard dad yell.

We looked at each other before getting up from the ground.

We completely forgot that my family was still in the limo.

"Hang on! We have a plan" Leo yelled and we all nodded.

"You know, based on the last 40 times that he said that, I'd say we have, oh, a 10% chance of making it" Chase said.

Me and Leo looked annoyed, are they seriously talking about this now?

"Hey, hey, he came all the way out hereto save us. Give the kid some credit. 12%" Dad said.

"We can still hear you!" me and Leo shouted.

I shook my head before nudging Leo in the arm, gesturing for him to do what him and Taylor were going to do to get them out of the limo.

He nodded and turned to Taylor.

"Taylor, give me your hand" Leo said and Taylor nodded.

She held out her hand and Leo grabbed it. Soon, an energy sphere began to form again. It slowly started getting bigger.

"A little more" Leo said.

When it got bigger I turned to Logan.

"Okay, Logan, on my cue. aim the sphere at that silver fin" I said.

"Got it" Logan nodded.

"Trust me. We got this" Leo said to Taylor, who looked a bit worried.

She gave him a small smile and nodded.

I looked at Logan and nodded, who nodded back at me. He pointed his hands out to the EMP. He began to use his energy manipulation to hold onto the EMP.

He turned to aim it at the silver fin. Me and Leo looked at each other before looking at Logan.

"Now!" we both yelled.

Logan quickly tossed it and it landed on the silver fin. When we heard the others saying that it worked from the inside, all four of us cheered.

I quickly high-fived Taylor and Logan before engulfing Leo in a tight hug. He hugged me back and placed a brotherly kiss to my head.

We pulled away and turned around, just in time to see Bree climbing out of the limo.

Adam and Nick were following behind her. Nick quickly grabbed onto their arms geo-leaped them to where we were.

He geo-leaped back over to the limo when Douglas was getting out.

He grabbed him and geo-leaped him over to us. When he let go of his arm, Douglas stumbled over to Adam, who caught him.

We turned around to see dad and Alexis getting out.

The bridge shook again, making dad fall to the ground with a small thud. 

Alexis nearly fell off the limo, but managed to catch herself in time, but her arm hit the silver fin.

"ALEXIS!" Adam shouted, worried when he saw her arm making contacting with the silver fin.

He tried running towards her, but Douglas and Bree held him back.

Alexis quickly got off the limo and landed next to dad. 

She grabbed his arm and geo-leaped towards us as dad quickly ran over to the others. 

While Alexis, who was holding her arm in pain, ran over to me. I held my arms out for her and wrapped them around her when she was near me.

"Are you ok? Is it bleeding?" I asked, still holding her in my arms.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. It just stings a little" Alexis said, wincing in pain and not letting her arm go.

I nodded and sighed in relief, placing a soft kiss to her head.

We all looked back at the limo to see Chase getting out. But then the bridge moved again, causing Chase to fall back into the limo.

My heart stopped when I saw the limo moving closer to the edge.

"CHASE!" I shouted, worried and scared.

When he heard me shout, our eyes made contact and I can see complete fear in his eyes.

I bit my lip and looked at the others. I shoved Alexis towards Adam, who quickly caught her and kissed her forehead.

"We have to go now. The whole bridge is about to go down" Taylor said.

"I'll get Chase. You guys get everyone else out of here" Leo said.

"But, Leo, we can-" Adam started but Leo shook his head.

"There's no time! Go!" Leo yelled.

The others looked taken aback before nodding, quite reluctantly.

"Grab on!" Nick yelled.

Nick geo-leaped him, Bree, Douglas and dad out.

While Alexis geo-leaped her, Adam, Taylor and Logan out.

"Luna, get out of here, now!" Leo yelled.

"No, I'm staying, you're gonna need all the help you can get" I said.

"Luna, you-" Leo started but I cut him off.

"Leo Dooley you can't make me leave. This is my boyfriend we're talking about. The love of my life. The boy that means everything to me. I'm not going back home while his life is on the damn line. I nearly lost him once, there's no way in hell I'm going to lose him again!" I angrily snapped at him.

Leo looked taken aback by that and flinched just a little.

If he thinks for one second I'm leaving when my boyfriends life is on the line, he's certainly stupid.

Leo realized that I wasn't going anywhere, so he sighed and nodded.

I smiled at that and nodded and together we both ran towards the limo to go rescue my boyfriend.

I quickly grabbed onto the back of the limo and began pulling it while using my super strength.

Leo stood next to me, helping me while using his bionic arm.

But even with both of us holding onto the car we were still struggling, this dang was freaking huge and heavy.

"Leo, Luna, you both have to let go or it's gonna take you guys with it" Chase said, looking at us in worry.

"I'm not letting go" Leo sternly said.

"Me neither, so shut up and let us save you" I sternly said.

Chase struggles to pull himself out of the limo as me and Leo were struggling to pull the limo up.

Me and Leo locked eyes with each other, knowing that with both our strengths we wouldn't be able to pull the limo back up. It was too far near the edge that it could fall any second.

Leo looked back at Chase and held his hand out to him.

"Give me your hand" Leo said.

I grabbed onto Leo so that way when he has a hold of Chase's hand I can geo-leap the three of us away from the limo.

Chase tried to grab Leo's hand but the limo continue to move, making Chase fall back inside the limo.

Chase managed to pull himself out of the limo again and reached out for Leo, but the limo moved again and he stumbled back inside.

I looked at Chase with worry and fear. His eyes met mine and I saw nothing but fear in them.

"Come on, Chase! Come on!" I yelled, my eyes watering as tears slid down my cheeks.

When Chase saw my tears, the fear in his eyes began to wash away, now replaced with confidence and determination.

Everything felt like it was happening in slow motion, Chase managed to get himself out of the limo again and began reaching for Leo.

Leo's teeth were gritted as he continued to reach out for Chase, the both of us desperately holding onto the limo.

Finally, Chase lunged forward and grabbed onto Leo's hand.

As soon as that happened I quickly geo-leaped the three of us away from the limo.

We all stumbled and fell to the ground with a loud thud, we groaned in pain but we were fine and alive.

We sat up from the ground, just in time to see the limo falling off the edge and into the ocean.

We all sighed in relief as Leo laid himself back on the ground.

I quickly turned to Chase and wasted no time cupping the sides of his face and smashing my lips onto his.

Chase wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me back just as desperately and passionately.

We both pulled away and hugged each other tightly. When we pulled away we pressed our foreheads against each others.

"Thank the lords you're ok. I as so freaking worried" I said, trying to catch my breath.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. I'm here. I'm here and I'm still alive" Chase softly said.

I let out a small sob at that, Chase using his thumb to wipe the tears away from my cheeks.

He stood up from the ground and pulled me up with him. We ran over to Leo and pulled him up from the ground.

"Wow! Leo, you did it. You saved my life. Sorry I ever doubted you" Chase softly said, flashing him a small guilty smile.

"I'm just glad you're okay" Leo smiled back.

They both smiled at each other and pulled each other into a tight hug.

I smiled at them and crossed my arms over my chest, happy that those two made up and are back to not only being best friends, but brothers too.

They pulled away from the hug as Chase wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to his side.

"Wait, there's someone floating in the water" Leo said, glancing down at the ocean.

Mine and Chase's eyes widened and we looked down.

But then we both sighed and rolled our eyes when we saw that it was just cardboard Leo.

"Is that me?" Leo asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, don't worry. That's just cardboard you. Trust me, he wasn't worth saving" Chase said.

I nodded while Leo just sighed and shook his head.

The bridge jolts as the three of us look at each other. I quickly grab their arms and geo-leap us away to head back to our family.

At The Awards Ceremony

Despite everything that happened at the bridge, all of us still managed to go to the awards ceremony.

And by all of us, I really mean all of us.

That's right, Leo is going to be getting an award, an award that he deserves just as much as we do.

"These individuals before you are the epitome of what a hero should be. They are the most selfless, humble people that I know. Because of their courageous actions, the world is a better place. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, but the real way to measure a true hero is by their determination to never give up" Mr. President smiled.

Everyone began applauding for us, from the corner of my eye I can see dad and Douglas cheering and smiling for us. I swear I even saw some tears.

Me, the trio, Nick, Alexis and Leo were all standing together.

We were all in our mission suits, gold medals around our necks with smiles on our faces.

I looked at Leo, who looked at me and smiled. I smiled back at him and gently nudged his arm, making him chuckle.

"People of our nation, and our planet, are beyond grateful for the contributions that you four have made for our safety and well-being. There is no way we can repay you for all that you've done" Mr. President smiled, looking at all of us.

"Well, don't let that stop you from writing a big, fat check" Adam grinned.

This made everyone go silent as me and the others looked at Adam with wide eyes in disbelief.

Did he seriously just freaking say that?

Adam realized we were looking at him and his eyes widened.

"Did I just say that out loud?" Adam asked.

We all just sighed and shook our heads at him, not bothering to answer him as we were basically used to this.

When the ceremony was over the trio, Alexis and Nick went to go find dad and Douglas.

While me and Leo remained where we were. I turned to Leo and smiled at him.

"So, Dooley, how does it feel to get an award and finally get noticed?" I asked.

"It feels amazing. Really, amazing" Leo smiled.

"Well I'm happy that you're happy" I smiled.

"Thank you, Luna. Thank you for always believing in me and defending me when the others looked down at me. You're seriously the best sister ever" Leo softly smiled.

"Anything for you, bro" I smiled.

We both hugged each other, me kissing his cheek before we pulled away.

But when we pulled away we saw Alexis walking up to us, a small sheepish smile on her face as she nervously played with her fingers.

"Hey guys" Alexis said, her voice nearly in a whisper.

"Oh...uh, hey" I said, a bit awkwardly.

Leo looked at her with an emotionless look on his face, and honestly I can't blame him.

I know that he's still angry by what she said to him before he quit.

Him and Nick talked before the ceremony, Nick apologized for what he said and Leo forgave him.

But with Alexis, that might be a different story.

"Can we talk?" Alexis asked.

"I guess" I shrugged.

Alexis took a deep breath before turning to look at Leo, a guilty look on her face.

"First off, Leo, I just want to say I'm really sorry about everything I said to you at the academy before you quit. I don't know what came over me. I guess when Mr. Davenport said that me and Nick would be receiving awards I got so excited that I let that get to me. I started feeling like I was better than you just because you didn't get an award" Alexis softly explained.

She sighed and ran her hands through her hair.

"What I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry. I hurt you really badly and blamed you for what happened to Taylor when it was just an accident. I know that you would never hurt her on purpose. I'm sorry and I hope that you can forgive me" Alexis softly said.

My eyes softened at that, the sad and guilty look on her face was enough for me to know that she was really sorry for what she said to Leo.

I looked at Leo and saw that his emotionless face went away and was now replaced with one of sadness.

"Alexis, what you said really hurt me. I'll admit that at times I can be childish, but that's just how I am and you can't change how I act. It really hurt me to know that you felt that way about me. And if I'm being honest, I think I need time in order to forgive you" Leo softly but sternly said.

I saw some hurt flash through Alexis's face, but that went away as she sighed and flashed him a small smile.

"I understand. I don't deserve your forgiveness, at least not right away. But thank you for hearing me out" Alexis said.

Leo nodded, flashing her one last smile before walking away.

When he was gone Alexis turned to look at me with an even sadder look on her face.

I opened my mouth to say something but then to my surprise tears came out of her eyes and streamed down her face.

"Luna, sis, I'm so so sorry about our fight two weeks ago. I'm so sorry for everything I said about you and Leo. I let getting an award get in between not only our friendship but our sister relationship too" Alexis said.

Her lips trembled as she walked closer towards me.

"I'm so, so, so sorry for everything I said to you. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you for standing up for Leo when he just wanted to prove he was a hero like us. I promise I'll never do something like that again" Alexis said.

She gently grabbed my hands and stared into my eyes, more tears coming out.

"Can you forgive me?" Alexis asked, her voice cracking at the end.

I hadn't even realized that the entire time Alexis was talking, tears had escaped my eyes and streamed down my cheeks.

The way she spoke, the way her lips trembled and the way she cried broke my heart.

I knew that she wasn't lying, she didn't fake anything, she was telling the truth and I can tell.

Without saying anything, I leaned more into her and pressed our foreheads together, our hairs falling down to our sides and covering our faces.

We both let out small sobs mixed with some laughter as well.

"I love you, sis" Alexis smiled.

"I love you too, sis. And I forgive you too" I smiled back at her, tears of my own streaming down my face.

She let out a small sob at that and pulled me into a tight hug. I sighed and hugged her back, kissing her head.

The Next Day
In The Training Area

It was the next day and everything was back to normal.

Now that me and Alexis made up and we're back to being best friends, sisters, and we're talking to each other again.

We were all in the training area because dad had something important to tell all of us.

We stopped talking when dad walked in, smiling happily and proudly.

"Listen up, everybody. Someone very special is rejoining the team" Dad smiled.

We all looked at each other before looking back at him, clearly curious as to who he's talking about.

Dad then turned around and we heard footsteps and turned around.

My eyes widened and I gasped in shock while covering my mouth with my hands.

It was Leo.

And not only that.

But he was wearing the mentor uniform.

I looked at the others to see that their eyes were wide in shock and their jaws were open all the way.

"Whoa. I was expecting someone completely different" Adam smiled while shaking his head.

We all gave him exasperated looks as Alexis sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Not only is Leo back at the island, but because of his bravery and leadership on the bridge mission, I have officially made him a mentor" Dad grinned.

We all smiled at him and clapped and cheered for him.

I couldn't hold it in anymore and quickly ran over to him and engulfed him in a tight ass hug.

Leo chuckled and hugged me back, placing a kiss to my head.

We pulled away and I gently placed my hands on his shoulders, giving him a proud smile.

"Awesome job, bro. I knew you'd become a mentor one day. And now, you finally are" I smiled.

"Thanks sis. You always believed in me. No matter how many times we argue, you always believed in me and stuck up for me. I love you" Leo smiled.

"I love you too" I smiled as I patted his back.

Soon the others walked over to us and patted Leo on the back or the shoulders.

"Couldn't be prouder of you, buddy" Chase smiled as they both hugged each other.

When they pulled away Taylor walked over to Leo and smiled at him.

"Congrats, Mr. Mentor. And thanks" Taylor said.

Leo furrowed his eyebrows at her in confusion and walked closer to her.

"For what?" Leo asked.

"I didn't think I'd ever go on a mission again, Leo. But you changed all that" Taylor smiled.

"I'm the one who should be thanking you. You showed me I really am a leader" Leo smiled.

Taylor smiled at him and nodded.

Then to all our shock, she kissed him gently on the cheek before pulling him into a hug.

Leo, who's face was bright red and eyes were wide in shock, slowly hugged her back with a smile on his face.

While the guys were staring at them in shock, me and the girls looked at each other and smirked.

Looks like we've got another ship that needs to sail as soon as possible.

"I love you guys" Logan smiled as he hugged the both of them.

I groaned in slight annoyance at him for ruining their moment, but he's their friend too, so I shouldn't be mad about that.

Then all of a sudden we hear sniffling and crying from a few feet away from us.

We turned around, only to see Douglas crying.

"Are you crying?" Nick asked in amusement, wrapping an arm around Bree's waist.

Douglas looked at us and quickly shook his head in denial.

"No! I'm just allergic to happiness" Douglas defended, trying to wipe his tears away.

Dad smiled and chuckled before walking over to him and wrapped his arm around his shoulders.

"Come on, you old softie. Now that everybody's safe, you can help me out of this girdle" Dad said, wincing slightly.

"Oh! Oh god!" Douglas yelled, crying more then before.

When they walked out of the room, Chase hoists Leo onto his shoulder as everyone huddles around them.

"Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo, Leo!" everyone chants.

I smiled and cheered for him while shaking my head.

He looks so damn happy and proud that it makes my heart warm.

While the others were busy cheering him on, I heard footsteps nearby.

I turned around and smiled when I saw Spin and Bob walking in.

"Hey guys, where were you?" I asked.

"Bob needed some help cleaning the bathroom after causing a slight...accident" Spin said, shuddering at the end.

I cringed in disgust and shuddered myself.

"Oh, and we also went out to take out the garbage" Spin said and Bob nodded.

"Which reminds me, here you go" Bob said, taking out a white envelope from his pocket and handing it to me.

I furrowed my eyebrows at the envelope in my hands in confusion and looked at the boys.

"What's this? And where did you get it?" I asked.

"The guard gave it to us before we came back" Spin said.

"He said that some random woman came up to him, gave it to him and told him to give it to you" Bob said.

I frowned and looked down at the envelope before looking at the boys.

"Did the guard say who the lady was?" I asked.

"Nope, the lady left as soon as she handed him the envelope" Spin said and Bob nodded.

Huh? That's weird.

"Alright, well thanks for taking out the garbage and giving me the envelope boys. Go and join the others" I smiled, ruffling both of their hairs.

They both smiled and nodded before walking away to join the others.

I sighed and opened the envelope to see what was inside.

I took out the folded paper that was inside and unfolded it.

It was a letter, for me.

But who would send me a letter.

The only one that sends me letters are Ian and Miles.

And there's no way this was from them because Ian always sends me blue envelopes.

Shrugging, I just decided to scan the letter to see what it said and to figure out who it was from.

But as soon as I was done reading the letter, I felt myself freeze in absolute shock and disbelief.

I was still staring at the letter, my eyes were wide open and my jaw was dropped all the way down to the ground.

I couldn't even move, I was frozen, completely frozen.

The others stopped what they were doing and looked at me in worry.

"Sweetheart, are you ok?" Chase asked.

I didn't answer him and I didn't move.

This just made them even more worried as Alexis walked over to me and gently placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Luna, sis, are you ok? What's wrong?" Alexis asked with a frown on her face.

I turned to look at her and the others, still clutching the letter in my hands.

I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out, I just didn't know what to say.

Before I knew it, my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I dropped to the ground with a loud thud and lost consciousness.

Nobody's Pov

"LUNA!!" everyone shouted in fear and worry.

"SWEETHEART!" Chase shouted as he quickly ran over to his girlfriend.

He crouched down next to her and brought her into his arms and gently shook her, trying to get her to wake up.

The others huddled around him and looked down at Luna, completely worried.

"Someone go get Mr. Davenport and Douglas!" Chase yelled, not looking away from Luna.

Spin and Bob quickly ran out of the room to get them, leaving the others alone.

Alexis crouched down next to Chase and gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

"What's going on? Why did she faint?" Alexis asked, worried for her sister.

"I don't know. She was fine a few minutes ago" Chase said, shaking Luna more to get her to wake up.

He was worried about his girlfriend, of course he was, he would always worry about her no matter what.

And the moment she fainted, he was beyond worried.

Footsteps were heard and everyone turned around to see Davenport and Douglas running into the room.

As soon as Davenport looked at his daughter, he rushed to her side and crouched down next to Chase.

"Chase, what happened? What's wrong?" Davenport asked.

He took his daughter's hand into his and gently caressed it, looking at Chase for some answers.

Chase shrugged, not taking his eyes off of his girlfriend.

Davenport's eyes wandered from his daughter before wandering to the letter that was in her hands.

Confused, he gently took the letter from her hand and began scanning it, wanting to see what was on it. Maybe this could be the reason why his daughter fainted.

As soon as he was done scanning the letter, his face turned pale. His eyes were wide in shock and his jaw dropped all the way to the ground. He couldn't believe what he just read.

"Mr. Davenport? Mr. Davenport, what's wrong?" Chase asked, getting even more worried than before.

Davenport didn't say anything, making everyone worry even more.

Douglas snatched the letter from his hands and began scanning it himself. When he was done, his eyes grew wide and his jaw dropped. He couldn't believe what he just read either.

"Can someone tell us what the hell is going on?" Nick asked, clearly frustrated.

"What the hell is wrong? What's in the letter? Why did our sister faint?" Alexis asked, frustrated just like her brother.

Douglas didn't say anything, all he did was hand Chase the letter so he could read it himself.

Chase, still confused and worried, grabbed the letter and began scanning it. The others huddled around him and looked at the letter themselves.

As soon as they were all done reading it, their eyes were wide in surprise and all their jaws dropped. They were all in shock and didn't know what to say or do. Now they understand why Davenport and Douglas were in shock.

I know that you won't believe what's written in this letter. I know that you'll think that it's filled with lies and that someone is trying to pull a sick prank on you. But I can assure you that this isn't a prank. Everything that's written in this letter is 100% real. I wouldn't lie to you, even if you don't know me just yet. But if you want more answers, more answers about your past and about your mother, meet me tomorrow. The address is written at the back.
