Harper and Bree are in the school lockers, Harper is reading a book and Bree is looking at herself in the locker mirror.

"Do you think my hair looks good like this or should I tie it up?" Bree asks "you're beautiful anyway Bree" Harper responds without looking up from her book like it's an automatic response.

"you're not even paying attention" Bree says "yeah that's cool" Harper says clearly not listening, Bree rolls her eyes and continues to play with her hair.

Adam rushes in "Hey Adam!" Bree says "Hide me!" Adam says pushing Harper and Bree in front of him, and ducking behind them.

"because....?" Harper asks, a group of girls rush in "Where is he?" One of
the girls says.

"Have you seen Adam?" One of them asks Harper "who?" Harper says "Adam Davenport" she says "never heard of him, but I think that guy knows!" Harper says pointing to a random guy, the group of girls go to the guy.

Adam sighs "What was that?" Bree says "ever since our bionic secret was revealed these girls have been chasing me everywhere" Adam says.

"and don't you like that?" Harper smirk "It was cool at first but now it's just really annoying" Adam says.

"what do they do so much?" Bree asks "they keep competing with each other to be my girlfriend or something" Adam says "Oh it's a very weird kind of fan club" Harper says, Bree laughs.

"What do I do?" Adam says "Start selling them your stuff to make money?" Bree laughs "It's not funny, I'm serious" Adam says.

"I don't know, Do they put out restraining orders for that kind of thing?" Harper says "what's going on?" Leo walks over "girls are running like crazy after Adam" Harper says.

"That's why I kept my bionics a secret, these girls are not ready for me and my bionic friend" Leo says smugly "Oh they really aren't ready" Bree says sarcastically.

Chase approaches "Chase! Please teach me your trick!" Adam says "what?" Chase says "come on Chase! Finally your gift of scaring girls will be of some use, teach me, I will be your apprentice" Adam says.

"Adam that's ridiculous" Chase says "yeah I can never be as annoying as you, I'll find another way" Adam says.

"want me to take care of them for you" Harper says, sawing her fist "what are you going to do?" Adam asks, she approaches.

"no big deal just scare them!" Harper says giving a boost to run to the girls "No No No!" Adam says holding
her and lifting her off the ground, she swings her legs in the air until Adam puts her back on the floor in front of the lockers.

"That nerd touched him!!" One of the girls says, they all start running towards Harper "who did you call a nerd!!!" Harper screams, Adam grabs her again,but this time he takes her out of the school.

"what are you doing, let me go!" Harper says swinging her legs "saving you from these freaks!" Adam says "Let me go!" Harper says.

Bree, Chase and Leo just watch the scene and go back to what they were doing normally.

In the lab, Chase is working on something, concentrated, when Harper and Adam walks in.

Harper has a cup of juice and Adam with the rest of a bucket of popcorn.

"Adam seriously are you going to cry? Again?" Harper says, Adam is looking pissed.

"let me guess you guys watched the dog movie again?" Chase says "he made me" Harper says sitting down at the table.

"Adam come on you have seen this movie before" Chase says "but does the dog have to die every time?" Adam says "yeah cuz it's the same movie every time!" Harper says.

Adam leans on the table watching what Chase is doing "what's that?" Adam asks "one of Mr Davenport's drones broke down and I'm trying to improve it so that it has more energy storage" Chase says "you Just have to say "a drone"" Adam says.

"it's simple to fix" Harper says leaning more on the table "Yes it is but I don't know how to feed the energy storage in a practical way" Chase says "boring!!" Adam says "eat your popcorn!" Chase says.

"How about a solar panel" Harper suggests, Adam watches their conversation "that's a great idea, that way it absorbs energy during the day and can run all night" Chase says "Yup" Harper says.

"how did I not think of that?" Chase says "so much goes through that head of yours that sometimes you don't see the obvious" Harper says looking right at him he looks at her too.

"well.." Chase says thoughtful "I'll show Mr Davenport the idea and the adjustments I already made but, I will give credit for your part" Chase says, "seriously!" Harper says smiling "of course" Chase smiles at her as he leaves, taking the drone.

Harper smiles again, but this time she wrinkles her nose when smiling, Adam notices it and gets up from the table he was leaning on with a surprised face.

"Oh wait Chase!" Harper says,he comes back with the drone "that wire is plugged into the wrong battery" Harper points to the wire "I... I knew that" Chase says "of course you knew" Harper sarcastically and smiles at him, he adjusts the drone's wire and leaves.

Harper watches him leave, and at that she smiles wrinkling her nose again, Adam smiles looking at her.

She goes back to drinking the juice and messing with her cell phone, Adam gives a light silent laugh.

"Harper do you have a crush on Chase?" Adam asks, as soon as he asks she slightly drowns with the juice.

"What!?" Harper says pulling herself together "You're into Chase!" Adam
says with a half-laughing smile.

"No, of course not!" Harper says nervously "Oh yeah!?" Adam
says "yeah!" Harper says.

"so what was that about?" Adam says stepping closer "That what?" Harper asks "you wrinkle your nose, the last time you did that was watching that movie with the guy with the metal arm you have a crush on" Adam says.

"I don't do that?" Harper says "you did that when he made that awful joke about protons!" Adam says indignantly "Oh but the joke was good" Harper says laughing, remembering the moment and wrinkling her nose.

She notices and puts her hand on her nose scared, Adam points to her face "see! The joke sucked and you laughed...you're the only one who laughs at his jokes, also the only one who cares about these boring things that only he does" Adam says.

"Is this talk of yours going anywhere?" Harpe says taking her hand off her nose "Yup, you have a crush on him" Adam says.

"of course not...you keep saying he doesn't attract any girls, why do you think it's different with me?" Harper says "Cuz u don't hit the head very well" Adam says, with a worried face, Harper looks at him with a straight face.

"and Its fine, you were raised by Krane it's totally understandable u have serious issues" Adam put his hand on her shoulder, she rolls her eyes and leaves the lab.

Harper is in the cafeteria by herself, studying, Adam walks in and sits at the table, he looks back scared.

"still hiding from those girls?" Harper says "They're everywhere Harper, Everywhere!" Adam says startled, Harper shakes her head.

Adam looks at the books and her notes on the table "See? You're starting to look just like Chase" Adam says, Harper rolls her eyes.

"For starters,I'm doing your homework you asked me to do!" Harper says irritably "oh, it still sounds like Chase to me" Adam says, Harper glares at him.

"you can tell me, I know it's something to be ashamed of but we all have something" Adam says "Adam! Shut up!" Harper says, Adam shrugs but he has na idea.

"okay so you don't like Chase?" Adam says "Nope!" Harper says writing something "not even a little bit?" Adam asks "No" Harper says.

"okay so...pretend to be my girlfriend" Adam says "What!?" Harpe turns to him indignantly "So I can get rid of those crazy girls, if they see I have a girlfriend they'll stop fighting to be my girlfriend" Adam says.

"did you come up with that idea yourself?" Harper questions "No, Leo came up with the idea, why?" Adam says "no, just so I remember to kill Leo later" Harper says.

"pretend to be my girlfriend!" Adam says "no I won't do that" Harper says "why not?" Adam says in a way like he knows the answer.

"because..." Harper thinks "Aha! You don't want to because of Chase, you don't want to make him jealous" Adam says "Jealous of what?" Harper says "I don't know" Adam says.

"Adam I'm not pretending to be your girlfriend" Harper says "because you want to be with Chase!" Adam smiles, Harper rolls her eyes.

"you're not going to stop that are you?" Harper says "if you take it I'll stop" Adam says, Harper takes a deep breath.

"Okay, but no exaggeration!" Harper says "yes!" Adam says getting up and kneeling down "Harper would you take a pretend date with me?" Adam says holding her hand "Fine" Harper says "she say yes!"Adam stands up smiling, Harper shakes her head with a laugh.

The next day at school, Bree and Leo are sitting in the school lobby.

Chase walks over "hey guys have you seen Harper?" Chase asks "no, why?" Leo asks "I made a drone project, with the sun panel idea she came up with and I wanted to show her" Chase smiles.

"how sweet of you two doing nerdy things together" Bree says sarcastically "it's not nerdy things it's important stuff!" Chase says "it doesn't matter she still does it in a cooler way than you" Leo says, Chase makes a serious face.

The girls from Adam's fan club approach when they see him coming but soon stop, seeing Adam entering the school hugging Harper who doesn't make a very happy face.

"What's going on?" Bree asks.

"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, Mr and Mrs Adam Davenport are passing by!" Adam says "Mr. And Mrs? Really!?" Harper says "isn't that what couples call each other?" Adam says "...I want a divorce!" Harper says.

"Stay in character"Adam whispers "who is this?" One of the girls asks, Bree, Chase and Leo approach "That is my girlfriend!" Adam says pulling Harper closer.

"What?" The girls ask "what!?" Bree, Chase and Leo say "Really?" Chase
asks Harper with a slightly scared look "N.."Yes!" Adam interrupts reminding Harper of the plan "yeah we are...dating" Harper says, she looks away.

Chase looks at the two upset, Bree
looks at him "are you okay?" Bree asks "yeah" Chase says quietly "no!" The girls start to get annoyed "not true!" One of them says "you bet it is" Harper says the, girls start to leave but still a few in doubt.

Chase looks down at the floor confused, Harper and Adam approach "so you're out of the friend zone finally!" Leo says patting Adam on the back congratulating him.

"No!" Harper says "Shh! honey take it down!" Adam says looking around, Chase purses his lips to say nothing, and turns away.

"people can hear" Adam says, Harper rolls her eyes and moves closer to them "we're faking it, to get rid of his crazy fans" Harper says, when she says this Chase sighs and closes his eyes.

"oh so you took my idea!" Leo says "Thanks! You reminded me that we
have things to work out later" Harper says threatening him "Did I say mine? I meant Adam..It was Adam's idea!" Leo says.

"How long will this fake boyfriend thing last?" Bree ask "one, two days I think it'll be enough for them to forget about him" Harper says "but meanwhile pretend with us" Adam says, Bree and Leo nod and Chase stays quiet.

"okay so now we're dating... did you hear that Chase? Dating!" Adam says, Harper rolls her eyes, Chase crosses his arms "I heard!" Chase says angry.

Harper and Adam had been pretending all day.

Everyone is in the cafeteria still trying to pretend, Harper and Adam are sitting next to each other, Chase facing them, not even knowing how to act, Bree and Leo try to act normal, the girls that like Adam aren't too far away.

Adam puts his arm around Harper, it doesn't bother her, she's always close to him, she just looks at Chase, he tries to eat in silence without looking at them.

"can I have your jello honey?" Adam asks in a honeyed tone, Harper looks at him irritated and just pushes the Jello to him.

"Is it just me or is this really weird?" Leo says "it's worse than weird" Chase says.

"you guys are terrible actors" Bree says "don't you think that's weird for us?" Harper says "I think it's pretty Okay!" Adam says "just...eat your Jello...honey" Harper says in a not-too-kind tone.

Perry walks past them " Hey you two lovebirds!" Perry says "oh no!" Harper says.

"I hear you're dating so I should let you know I don't want any displays of affection in my school environment, get your silly hand out there" Perry says slamming a magazine into Adam's hand that was on Harper's shoulder, he takes his hand away "Oh thank you" Harper says quietly.

"what?" Perry says "nothing" Harper says "how can you stand beside such a disgusting little being?" Perry tells
Harper "oh I was going to ask the same thing for your cats" Harper smiles sarcastically.

"but seriously, you two? I always thought you'd end up with the smart one with the weird face" Perry points at Chase and leaves, Chase and Harper look at each other.

Chase takes a deep breath "I gotta go" Chase says and gets up and leaves.

"Adam I think you've taken this too far" Bree says "yeah they already believe you guys are together" Leo says.

Adam looks at the girls' table "I don't know" Adam says, Harper looks at him annoyed "what is it?" Adam says "is there something in my teeth?" Adam asks, Harper rolls her eyes and leaves.

"uuuuh" Bree and Leo says "You're in trouble with your fake girlfriend right now" Bree says "yeah you'll hear it when you get home" Leo says.

"what did I do?" Adam says "Oh they never know what they did" Bree says "men!" Leo rolls his eyes, Adam frowns.

Bree walks up to Chase in the stairs.

"hey" Bree says,Chase looks at her as she sits down next to him "Are you okay? With that Harper and Adam thing?" Bree says "I don't know" Chase says.

"they're just pretending, Chase" Bree says "I know! But still" Chase says.

"are you jealous?" Bree says "I don't know, when it comes to her I don't know anything...And this coming from me!" Chase says in a concerned tone "nobody knows to be honest" Bree says, Chase hangs his head in thought.

"you could tell her how you feel" Bree says "I can't, I don't know how and what if she doesn't feel the same, what if I screw up what we have" Chase says "she's still the only girl I feel comfortable around" Chase says,

Bree tilt her head "okay! a little less uncomfortable" Chase says.

"at some point you'll have to tell her" Bree says "i...I'm afraid" Chase says quietly "aw Chase" Bree says hugging him.

"you'll find a way...you always do" Bree says, Chase smiles at her, she continues hugging him

Meanwhile Adam goes after Harper later in the lab.

"hey, I'm sorry" Adam says "you know what exactly happened?" Harper says "no but whatever it is I'm sorry" Adam says.

"Adam I can't do this anymore" Harper says "what did I do?" Adam says "it's not you, it's me" Harper says "what did you do then?" Adam says.

Harper sighs and walks over to him "I can't pretend to be your girlfriend anymore" Harper says "why not?" Adam says.

"because first, it's going to ruin our friendship, and I can't lose what we have, I can't lose you,You're the best friend I have and you're too special to me for me to risk everything on a fool" Harper says, Adam nods

"And because I don't want to...lose Chase whit this" Harper says with her eyes closed "what do you mean?" Adam says.

Harper takes a deep breath "you're right, I....I like Chase, I really like him, I kind of have... feelings for him since I met him" Harper says with a slight thoughtful smile

"do you like him!" Adam smiles "yeah i do...Just a bit" Harper says she wrinkles her nose.

"I can't pretend to like someone else, I'm afraid he'll think that...I don't know" Harper says "it's ok" Adam says.

"I'm not going to pretend to be your boyfriend anymore, I'm going to find a way to get rid of that crazy fan club some other way" Adam says, Harper smiles.

"so you and Chase... well you know I'll be here if you need me, he's kinda...." Adam says "I know" Harper smiles.

"Come here ex fake girlfriend" Adam says opening her arms, Harper hugs him.

"You're amazing" Harper says "you're more sis" Adam smiles, he kisses the
top of her head "you were the best pretend girlfriend I ever had" Adam says looking at her, Harper laughs "likewise" Harper says.

"But that's our secret" Harper says "if anyone asks...you have a heart of stone" Adam says "good boy" Harper says.

The next day they're back in the cafeteria, Harper walks in.

"just to let you guys know that
Adam and I officially break up our fake dating!" Harper says, she goes after Adam who is sitting down.

"but officially we're best friends forever" Harper says kissing his cheek "that's it! Did you hear that Chase...bffff" Adam says "it's only two f Adam!" Harper says sitting down "Bff" Adam corrects.

"officially?" Chase asks, Harper looks at him "officially!" Harper says with a smile.

Chase nods and goes back to doing what he was doing, while Harper sits at the table without taking her eyes off him, Bree and Adam watch the two, both give a slight smile.

"What are you smiling at?" Bree asks "Nothing I...I'm a happy person" Adam says.

"What about the girls?" Leo says "Harper and I take care of them" Adam says "we take care of them, comma..." Harper points to the girls' table.

Perry is hustling them with the magazine in hand, one of them thinks about coming towards Adam "hey! You can sit down I don't want any affection for Adam Davenport at this school!" Perry says slapping the magazine on the girl's arm "you too what you're looking over there in little princess, you're all gonna get suspended" Perry says

"It's good that everything is back to normal, including Perry hitting the students" Leo says.

"I never thought I'd say this but here goes...Thanks Terry!" Harper tells Perry, who just looks at her suspiciously.

"maybe I'm starting to like her" Harper says, everyone looks at her "it was momentary forget it" Harper laughs and goes back to eating.
