Bree's Pov

Being apart from Nick is something I never wanted. Let alone the day before my wedding.

But at the same time it makes sense. The bride and the groom can't see each other before the wedding. They can't see each other either on the day of the wedding, at least until the ceremony begins.

So, we both just had to suck it up and hope that time flies quickly so our special day comes around and we can see each other.

I can only imagine what he would look like in his tuxedo. Oh, he'd be so handsome. He always is.

So, while the guys were having Nick's Bachelor party at the academy, I was having my bachelorettee party back home in Mission Creek.

Me, Alexis, Luna, Taylor, Tasha, Janelle and Skylar were in the old lab celebrating.

Luna, Tasha and Alexis took the liberty of decorating one of the empty rooms into a bachelorette party room.

And can I just say that they did an amazing job.

People might think of this as just a plain and boring party, but to me, I know this is going to be an exciting party.

As long as I'm with my best friends, my two sisters and my mother figure, I'll have a wonderful time at my party.

I was leaning against the wall, laughing as I watched Taylor, Janelle and Skylar dance to the music that was being played.

Tasha had left the room to get some wine bottles and glass cups.

But she'd be getting some ginger ale for Taylor because she's not a fan of wine and would rather stick to something light.

It's understandable but I feel like she'll be missing out.

"So, do you like your party so far?" Luna asked.

I turned around to see Luna and Alexis by me, standing next to each other.

A chuckle escaped my lips and I nodded my head, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yeah, I really like it" I smiled.

As long as I'm with my friends and family, I'll have lots and lots of fun.

"See, I told you we did a great job" Alexis smiled.

"Hell yeah we did" Luna smiled.

They both shot each other proud smiles before high-fiving each other.

I laughed and fondly shook my head at them.

"Where did you guys get all these decorations? And how did you do all of this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at them.

"Simple, we just searched for things you like before ordering them online. And with our bionics we were able to finish in 5 minutes" Alexis explained, smiling.

I smiled at that and shook my head fondly.

Luna sighed as she leaned against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I wonder how the boys are doing" Luna said.

"As long as there's no strippers for Nick's party, I'm alright" I shrugged.

The thought of other women being near Nick makes my jealousy level go up to 10.

Honestly I don't understand why some men like the idea of having strippers for their party. I get it's their last day of being single but they're still in a relationship and should have some respect for it.

Especially if they engage in kissing or hooking up.

"Speaking of the boys, when are you and my brother getting engaged?" I asked.

I smirked at the slight blush that appeared on Alexis's face before she shook her head.

"Adam and I agreed to take things slow. We're not ready for that just yet. But when the time comes, we'll be ready" Alexis smiled.

"Good for you. You don't need to rush things just yet" Luna nodded.

"Just don't take things too slow. Like Luna and Chase" I teasingly smiled.

Alexis snorted in amusement while Luna turned her head around to glare at me.

"What? It's the truth" I shrugged, holding my hands up in defense.

"Yeah, like, you guys were the first ones to get together. You dated for a long time, yet didn't get engaged until being together for 4 years" Alexis rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. I thought that you'd get engaged after 2 years of being together" I nodded.

"I won't lie when I say that I was waiting for it too. But the most important thing is that it happened and we're soon going to be husband and wife" Luna smiled.

She looked down at her ring as she said that and gently played with it.

I looked down at my ring and did the same thing, sighing softly.

"You don't think that it's gonna be weird tomorrow" Alexis suddenly spoke up.

This made me and Luna look up at her as we furrowed our eyebrows at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked in curiosity.

"Isn't it going to be weird for Leo and Janelle, his ex-girlfriend, to be in the same place tomorrow?" Alexis asked.

This made me and Luna glance at each other before looking at her, shaking our heads.

"No, we think they'll be just fine" I said.

"Yeah. The breakup wasn't messy and they're still friends" Luna added.

Yes, we know that Leo and Janelle broke up a long time ago, so it might be a little weird for them to be in the same place.

But they both moved on. Or, well, Leo has moved on.

He's with Taylor and he's really happy with her. And Taylor is happy with him. 

Janelle is single, but she's happy being single because she said that she doesn't need a man to be happy.

"Yeah, I know. I'm mainly just looking out for him. I don't want him to, I don't know, feel hurt even just a little bit" Alexis softly said.

This made Luna and I frown as we gently patted her shoulders.

Yeah, so, it's fair to say that Leo and Alexis aren't necessarily on the best terms.

Leo still hasn't forgiven Alexis for what she said to him that day when we'd be receiving medals from the president.

Believe me, it took a while just for him to forgive Nick.

But with Alexis, it's a completely different story. Her words hit more than Nick's and he's still affected by it.

I don't blame him.

I love Alexis, but what she said to him was out of line. Especially blaming Leo for Taylor going blind when it wasn't his fault, it was an accident.

I understand. We all understand that Leo needs time in order to fully forgive her.

It's just a bit frustrating because we know that Alexis wants nothing more than to go up to him and apologize, beg for his forgiveness, but she's scared.

Can you believe that? Alexis being scared?

All of a sudden we hear the lab doors opening and we turned around to see Tasha walking in.

She had a huge grin on her face as she was holding glass cups in one hand while holding a bottle of wine and ginger ale in another.

"Gather around, ladies. The beverages are here" Tasha smiled.

We all cheered as we ran towards her. We left the music on because more good songs were being played.

Tasha handed us the glass cups, making sure we all had one in order to drink.

Since Taylor wouldn't be drinking wine she decided to pour herself some ginger ale. But she'd still wait for us because no doubt that Tasha wants to make a toast.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Tasha grabbed my cup and set it down.

She began pouring the wine into my cup as I watched.

When she felt it was enough she handed me my cup back, causing me to smile at her.

When all of our cups were filled she set the bottle down before turning to all of us.

"A toast, to Nick and Bree's engagement. Not to mention that their special day is tomorrow. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we're all excited" Tasha smiled.

This made all of us release small chuckles as we nodded in agreement.

Luna and Alexis stood at each of my sides, using their free arms to wrap them around me.

"Bree, we're all incredibly happy for you. We're happy that you've found someone that you're ready to spend the rest of your life with" Alexis smiled.

"Even though it took a while for you and Nick together, considering you both were too scared to admit your feelings, not to mention the tension we all felt between you two" Luna scoffed.

This made the others nod in agreement while I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

I might agree with them, but that doesn't mean I'm going to admit it out loud.

"But, it doesn't matter, because what matters is that you two are together and you're getting married" Janelle grinned.

This made me grin at her as I nodded, trying my best to contain a squeal that was threatening to escape my lips.

"To Nick and Bree's engagement!" Skylar yelled.

"To Nick and Bree's engagement!" the others yelled.

I laughed before all of us cheered as we clapped our cups together.

We all took big sips of our drinks and none of us hesitated to let out loud and happy squeals.

My squeal, of course, being the loudest.

Janelle ran towards her phone, it was plugged into the speaker, as more music began to play.

The girls began dancing, enjoying themselves, still drinking their wine or in Taylor's case her ginger ale.

While Alexis, Luna and I looked at each other and grinned.

While Alexis, Luna and I were dancing and singing. We're just enjoying ourselves, like always.

My eyes widened when Alexis activated her pyrokinesis and spun herself around.

When she stopped we all began laughing before going back to what we were doing.

When the music ended the entire room was filled with loud cheers and squeals.

Another song came on and, once again, the others began dancing. Tasha and Skylar went to refill their cups.

While they did that, Alexis, Luna and I all huddled closer together before we all plopped down onto the couch.

Tasha had put a couch in here just in case we needed it. Which was probably a smart idea.

The three of us burst into giggles as we sipped our drinks. Alexis laid her head on Luna's shoulder while Luna laid her head on mine.

A smile appeared on my face as I snuggled closer to her. A sigh of content escaped my lips as I looked down at my ring.

I'm getting married tomorrow. I'm getting married to the love of my life tomorrow.

I'm the happiest girl alive!

I wanted to say sorry that this took a while to be posted. I was mainly trying to focus on my other books.

But now that I'm back, hopefully I can put my attention back on this book and post more chapters.

But the next chapter is gonna be Nick and Bree's wedding! So be ready for that.
