Thaliah

"I'm really happy for you Thaliah!"

My mom said while grinning ear to ear, I just bigay a tipid na smile to her.

"I'm just doing this for dad, mom."

I uttered, she sighed.

"I know, but I'm still hoping, things will work out between you two."

She said, I just continued putting on some make up for tonight's engagement party. I know naman to put on make up and I'm good at it so I refused to call a make up artist.

"Let's see."

I only said that to make her less worried, dad is outside talking with his friends. I wore a beautiful cream white Sexy Backless Deep V-Neck Spaghetti Strap Leg Slit.

I straightened my hair and put it into a hight neat ponytail look. My dress complimented my snow white skin and blonde hair, my clear blue eyes were sparkling. I look fierce, classy at the same time, innocent.

I paired it with a thin ankle strap stiletto sandals.

"How do I look?"

I asked smiling at mom, she giggled.

"Mukang kailangan kang bantayang mabuti ni Alpha sa party mamaya hija, you'll be the center of the crowd."

She uttered, I just pouted.

"I don't think so mom, there are so maraming beautiful girls outside."

I shrugged, mom shooked her heads.

"I still think my daughter is the most beautiful."

She said making me smile.

"You mommy, your bola bola me again."

I pouted, mommy just tawa to me.

When I'm finally done, I decided to go out of my room. For some reason I am nervous, and no matter how I deny it, deep inside, I feel like I'm excited to see Alpha's reaction if he sees me.

What the hell?

I sighed, I can feel the stares of the people in this party, I just smile at them, everytime they greet me.

"Dad!"

I called his attention, he's talking to a friend,He's Tito Javier Kings, he looks like an older version of Josiah---speaking of the devil.. he's papalapit to us now.

"Thaliah!"

Dad said smiling at me, I waved my hand on Josiah's direction then went to my dad to hug him.

"Javier this is my daughter Thaliah Magdalene."

Dad introduced me, meya meya, Josiah came near us, beside his dad.

"Yes, I met her before, she's a good friend of Rhia and Josiah. Ang laki mo na hija, naalala ko dati ay lagi ka pang dinadamitan ng mama mo na parang prinsesa."

That made me smile, back then, mom would always dress me up as a disney princess.

"Kung wala lang sanang gumulo sainyo noon ay baka kasabay mo pang lumaki itong si Josiah at Rhia."

Tawa ni Dad, I make tango tango to that.

"Indeed, Buti nga ay sinasama samahan siya ng anak ng mga Juarez noon tama? Hindi mo na siguro maalala dahil masyado ka pang bata noon mga limang taon ka siguro noon, si Alpha ay sampung taon, siya lang ang gusto mong kalaro, hindi ka mahiwalay sakaniya."

Tito Javier said, I saw Josiah smirked on that as my brows furrowed.

"No...I can't recall my childhood that much anymore."

I uttered then smiled awkwardly, so this is not the first time me and Alpha encountered each other?

"Oo nga, dati nga ay nagtantrums ka pa noong lumipat sila sa Denmark, masyado ka pang bata noon, kaya siiguro ay hindi mo na maalala."

Ngiti ni Dad, I just pouted.

"Speaking of the devil."

Josiah uttered, we all glanced at his direction, there we saw Alpha, looking so handsome with his Armani suit. I licked my lips as I studied him secretly, he has an intimidating aura as usual, his menacing green eyes were staring at me intently.

I just taas my kilay to him.

"Alpha!"

Dad greeted him cheerfully, I got ngiwi cause he's more cheerful on greeting him than when he greeted me! Is he the anak anak ha?!

"Javier this is my son in law Alphaeus Azarel, you met him already years ago."

Dad introduced him proudly, I just pouted, After our encounter with the kings, dad introduced us to some of his friends. He look so happy telling everyone that Alpha will be his son in law.

Dad had to rest for a bit so he left us two alone, it was an awkward silence between the two of us. Well he won't say a word so I wouldn't , I sighed, I honestly don't know what to feel about this. Everybody seems really happy for the two of us.

"You okay? Uncomfortable?"

Alpha asked in the middle of us entertaining the guests, I shrugged.

"I don't know, It's just that everything is happening so fast, I just met you last week and now look at us, on an engagement party, our engagement party."

I uttered, Alpha just tango to what I sabi to him.

"I understand, just tell me if you were uncomfortable."

He whispered, he is so near that it makes my heart flutter, he smells so good too that it's tempting me to burry my nose on his chest.

The titig to me of the men here in the party were biglang nag gone when I kasama na with Al[ha. Well it's not surprising considering Alpha's scary aura, even a kid would iyak iyak iyak pa maybe with just a simple tingin from him eh.

I think Alpha is a gentleman though, Unlike my previous kalandians that will make bastos to me, while some tried controlling me. Alpha just alalay me, though he glares at everyone who tries to get near us.

"Hindi ba magagalit ang boyfriend mo?"

He asked while looking at Josiah, talking with his twin sister Doc Rhia.

"Why would he? He knows naman that we'll eventually annul."

I whispered, I don't know if it's just me, but Alpha's face became darker, I just shrugged. It's totoo neman, why would any of my boy friends will get mad of me for being married? plus josiah is just a boy friend to me, I think he loves somebody nga eh, I just don't know who.

"Okay."

Alpha just said while looking at me intently, there's a mysterious spark on his eyes that I just couldn't read.

The party continued and I somewhat feel relaxed that most of my friends are here.

"Wala na! Finish na!"

Celestine said while laughing, I just simangot to her pang aasar to me. She's so mean talaga! She always biro me!

"Whatever!"

I said then rolled my eyed on her, agad Celestine just laughed at me.I glanced at Alpha's direction, he's talking to his friends, most are husbands of my friends.

"Nakakainis padin!"

It's Rin, she's simangot to me while crossing her arms.

"Bakit kailangang siya pa ang pakasalan mo?!"

She said then straight up drank the liqour, I pouted.

"I'm doing this for my dad."

I shrugged.

"Alpha seems to be a good man though, medyo nakakaintimidate lang kasi parang laging seryoso at galit. Kiel said he's nice."

Rhia uttered, Rin rolled her eyes on what she said.

"Good man my ass! baka saktan niya lang si Lene!"

Rin said then hugged me, I giggled.

"No one falls, no one, gets hurt."

I shrugged, they nagsihiyawan to what I said, I even saw Alpha glance at me, I rolled my eyes on him.

"I'll give you discount just incase."

Attorney Reyanne Honey Diega--Ranaldi said with a smirk, that made me grin.

"I will asa that."

I said making them grin at me.

"Sus no one falls, no one gets hurt ka dyan! lahat kami sinabi na yan!"

It was Emerald, Jonarlene giggled.

"But we did ended up with someone we refused to fall in love with at first."

She said then smirked at me.

"Well I'm an exemption."

I muttered, they just ngiwi to me on what I sabi.

"Well let's see! basta anytime bukas ang mental hospital para sayo, libre na ang stay mo dun, sagot ko na just incase!"

Kristine said making them laugh, I make simangot to them.

"I hate you lahat kayo all!"

I pouted.

"Ayusin mo muna pananalita mo gaga."

Emerald said then irap to me, I just hissed at them.

"Alam naman ni Thaliah magsalita noon ng tuwid na tagalog eh!"

Rin uttered, I think she's lasing na.

"Pag lasing!"

They again tawa to me, I kunot my noo to them nelang.

"THALIAH!"

It's a loud voice outside, It caught all of our attention. I frowned, I think I already know who it is.

"THALIAH!"

It's Geoff, he's running from the guards. My brows furrowed, I saw him going to my direction. He's papalapit na to me, when a large frame harang him, It's Alpha.

His huge frame is enough to hide me on his back.

"Tumabi ka! kakausapin ko si Thaliah!"

He said harshly.

"What the impyerns is your problema ba Geoff?! Why you biglang susowgowd here?!"

I said confused, I went out with him last month for business, but after that, he became so annoying.

"I thought you like me! Why are you suddenly engaged?!"

He said hysterically.

"Gagow you ba?! That was a simple dinner for business! Are you nakadrugs ha?"

I said irritatedly, his face darkened.

"I've always like you!---"

He then glared at Alpha's direction.

"But this man! Just always get in the way!"

We are getting lots of attention, good thing my father is on his room now.

"Tumabi ka kakausapin ko si Thaliah!"

He shouted, my eyes widened, he was about to punch Alpha but Alpha is quick to catch his fist as he kicked him so hard in the abdomen.

He collapsed on the ground, I feel like Alpha broke his ribs or something. It looks painful  and that kick was hella forceful.

"Kill me first before I let you damn talk to her."

He said coldly, my mouth formed an 'o', if he was intimidating on his normal mode, he look more scary now.

The guards took Geoff out of our mansion, everyone became silent at first but eventually continued the party.

"Napagpapabagabag ang suliranin kani kanina lamang hindi ba mga binibini?"

Tanong ko sabay lagok ng pag ilang baso ko na ng alak.

"Ganoon ba kayo kagalak at nahsisipaghalakhakan kayo?"

Inis na turan ko saka pumamewang sakanilang harapan.

"Hoy Alpha, etong asawa mo lasing na! makata nanaman!"

Sigaw ni Ruby kay Alpha na kausap si Tito Javier.

"Hoy!Alpha yung asawa mo lasing---"

Natigilan ako doon.

"Hoy! May asawa ka na?"

Tanong ko sa papalapit na lalaki, He's just staring at me intently, making me pout.

"Kung gayon ay paano na ang babaeng napangakuan mo ng kasal?"

Tanong ko sa lalaking ito, kawawa naman pala si Thaliah!

"You need to rest."

He whispered, nakagat ko ang labi ko roon saka natatawang yumakap sakaniya.

"Ang ganda naman ng iyong tinig ginoo, hinding hindi ako magsasawang pakinggan ito."

Ngiti ko, I felt him stilled but then sighed. Akay akay niya ako habang hawak ang bewang ko.

"Saan mo ako dadalhin ginoo?"

Napanguso nalamang ako nang hindi niya iyon sagutin.

"Alam mo may pakakasalan din ako."

Napabungisngis ako doon.

"Ayaw kong pakasalan siya, may iba akong gusto."

Ngiti ko, I felt his grip tightened, I started humming a wedding song and then suddenly stopped from walking.

Hinarap ko siya at ipinulupot ang kamay sakaniyang batok. His green eyes were staring at me.

"Ang ganda naman ng iyong mga mata."

Ngiti ko, saka muling naghum ng isang wedding song.

"Hey Groom."

Saad ko saka sinalubong ang nagbabagang mga titig niya. Ipinikit ko ang mga mata at ngumiti ng matamis sakaniya.

"You may kiss the bride."
