It's been a month after that incident, when we came back, we made conducted an investigation to that place. Good thing I managed to record everything secretly with a micro cam in my earings. 

I just want to know who are all the people he killed and let their family know what really happened to the people burried, died in that hellish place.

It's their right to know.

Half of the dead people in that place got identified, we managed to inform their families and launched a prayer vigil in the place.

Hanggang ngayon ay usap usapan parin ito ng lahat, binulabog ng balita ang buong bansa. 

It served as a warning to everyone.

Maraming nagluksa at nagalit, with Wade's help, we also managed to have the list of officials and politicians who protected David's wrong doings. 

Those money hungry officials who were suppose to bring justice---more like bringing justice to those who can afford it. 

They are even willing to protect someone's evil doings with the right price, is money enough reason for them to turn their back into their humanity?

"I loathe David but those people who tolerated him, who protected him who were suppose to protect the victims has to be punished greatly."

Mariing sambit ko habang ka face time ang inaanak kong si Ruby.

"Ganun talaga auntie, bulok ang sense of justice at bara bara ang sistema saatin. Just the thought of it makes me want to slaughter those people who has the nerve abusing their power."

Iritang sambit din nito.

"This is one of the reasons why our organization exists. If no one from the government wants to help and do their job, if they don't intend to reach out to those in need because money silenced them, then we will."

Saad ko, napabuntong hininga roon si Ruby.

"And were here to help you no matter what. If people can be blinded by money to do bad, then we'll blind them with it to do good. We'll play their game and defeat them, even if you retire and decided to rest and live a happy life in peace, I will continue your foot steps when I came back in there."

She stated, napangiti ako doon.

"You've done too much as Miss White in the organization, it's people and gave justice to countless of victims. Promise me, when I came back, you'll retire already. You need to remove all the heavy things you've been carrying all these years in your back, baka makuba ka niyan."

Natawa ito roon, natawa nalang din ako, at medyo naluluha nadin sa pinagsasabin ng batang ito.

"Gaga ka, kahit ilang corporation pa ang buhatin ko hindi ako makukuba.You know how strong I am Ruby, kanino ka pa ba magmamana?"

Ngisi ko, inirapan lamang niya ako.

"I know, para na kitang best friend, sister, nanay, tatay at lola."

Hirit nitong nagpalukot ng muka ko na malakas na ikinatawa ng gaga. Aba bastos tong batang to ah.

"You've been taking care of me, of us, noong mga panahong hindi kami makatayo. Noong mga panahong pinilay kami ng husto ng buhay, ikaw ang tumulong saaming bumangon. You've gave me advices I will cherish for a lifetime, you helped me hone my skills, find myself, without you, I may not become this strong, you helped me get stronger. You've always been here for me even at times I felt alone."

Litanya niya, tuluyan ng tumulo ang luha ko roon.

"Malaki ang utang na loob ko sayo, so I want you to finally rest and relax yourself. Bawasan mo naman iyang mga problema at stress mo. Late ka na nga kumarengkeng tapos puro trabaho padin ang aasikasuhin mo? You deserve a less stress, simple, peaceful and happy life, ang tagal kong hinintay na magkapamilya ka auntie, I want to see someone take care and love you, bukod saamin."

Hindi ko alam pero naiyak nalamang ako, hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman sa mga salitang binitawan ni Ruby. 

Matagal pa kaming nagkausap nito, medyo namimiss ko nadin si Ruby, Lucien my sister's son is also planning a surprise Wedding for her. She will have her happily ever after soon, at masayang masaya ako para sakanila.

Medyo naging busy din ngayon si Wade dahil kailangan daw niyang asikasuhin ang mga naiwang trabaho niya. 

Hannah Vallegas didn't bother us anymore, Wade said she decided to migrate in States. Hindi ganoon kaganda ang pinagsamahan namin, pero ipinagdarasal ko na maging masaya na siya roon.

"What's this commotion?"

I asked someone when I saw my employees at the parking lot.

"Dumaan po kasi iyong nagbebenta po ng prutas Ma'am."

Sagot nito, napatingin ako sa gawi nila at napalunok nang makita ang hilaw na mangga at santol na binebenta nito. I went into their direction, agad na tumabi ang mga empleyado ko nang makita ako, nginitian ko lamang sila.

"Give me 1 kilo each of this two."

I said pertaining to the mango and santol.

"Then I'll also buy all the fruits you're selling, including the fluits my employees got."

I uttered, nanlaki ang mata ng tindero roon.

"Sigurado ho kayo ma'am."

Sambit niya, ngiti akong tumango sakaniya, natuwa nadin ako nang makita ang kasiyahan sa muka nito at ng mga empleyado ko.

Mahina lang akong natawa saka ibinigay ang bayad sakaniya.

"Keep the change."

I said, nanlaki ang mata niya saka malapad na napangiti.

"Thank you po Ma'am ganda! Thank you po talaga! Malaking tulong na po ito sa pamilya ko"

Masayang masayang sambit nito. 

"Wala pong anuman, kung gusto niyo po ay pwede ho kayong pumasok sa loob para magbenta sa mga empleyado sa loob kapag napadaan po kayo dito."

Sambit ko pa, masayang masaya ito roon at muling nagpasalamat. I also instructed my employees to give away the remaining fruits on other employees inside.

Ipinahatid ko din ang prutas na binili ko sa opisina ko saka ako nagtungo sa sasakyan dahil may meeting pa ako.

Kalahating oras din ang inabot ng meeting, bumalik din ako agad sa opisina upang tapusin ang natitirang trabaho ko.

"Weid, no text and calls from Wade?"

Kunot noong sambit ko sa sarili ko. I tried calling him but he's not answering. I think busy talaga siya dahil sa dami ng trabahong kailangan niyang asikasuhin. 

I'll just call him later.

No I won't, hindi naman ako ganito noon pero nakakairita siya. Akala ko ba ay lagi niya akong iaupdate?!

I frowned.

"I was suppose to do my work right? Bakit kumakain padin ako?"

Iritang sambit ko, this mangoes were just so addicting. This made me want to eat some mangoes from La Muerte.

After I ate, I decided to finally focus on the papers. 

"Ma'am, Mr Andrada is here."

My secretary said from the intercom, napasimangot ako doon.

"Pakisabi busy ako."

Masungit na sambit ko, saka ayokong makita ngayon ang muka niya.

Naiirita ako.

I went back into reviewing the presentation, I yawned, pilit kong nilalabanan ang antok pero pabigat lamang ng pabigat ang talukap ng mga mata ko.

Nagising nalamang ako nang makarinig ng kumakatok, parang hindi naman iyon nanggagaling sa pintuan. Patuloy padin ang pagkatok nito na nagpakunot ng noo ko.

But then my eyes widened, nang tumalikod ako ay nakita kong sa bintana iyon galing.

"Wade?"

Kunot noong pagtawag ko sa pangalan niya. He's infront of my goddamn window with a harness holding him! Agad akong nagtungo roon saka binuksan ang bintana ng opisina ko.

"What the hell are you up to?"

Kunot noong sambit ko, ngumiti ito saakin. 

"Let's go on a date."

Sambit niya sabay lahat ng kamay.

"I have work, can't we re-schedule that on some other time?"

I asked, ngumiti ito saakin at umiling.

"Your work is done."

He said, nangunot ang noo ko roon.

"No---"

He didn't let me finish and pointed my table. I went into my table to check, my eyes widened when I saw that everything is finished.

"How?"

I said, tumingala ako at napansing sa helicopter pala nakakabit ang harness na sumusoporta sakaniya.

"I finished it while you're asleep."

He winked.

"Can be you my date now?"

He again asked, I just sighed, wala akong ibang nagawa kundi mapangiti saka tinanguan siya.

"Date me then."

I giggled then grabbed his hand. 

Mahigpit niya akong hinawakan at niyakap, ganoon din ang ginawa ko. Kasabay ng pag hila sa harness na kinalalagyan namin pataas.

"To La Muerte?"

I asked, he only use helicopter to fetch me if were going to that place. 

"Yes, to La Muerte."

He said then kissed me, matamis akong napangiti doon. 

Muli ay napahikab ako, hanggang ngayon kasi ay inaantok parin ako. I closed my eyes, I don't know what happened, but the next thing I know, I woke up feeling gentle kisses on my face and neck.

"Were here."

Malumanay na sambit ni Wade.

"hmm.."

I hummed.

Mukang nasa ere padin kami, nakapagtataka lang kung bakit bukas ang pintuan ng helicopter.

"Wag ka ngang tumayo sa tapat niyan Wade, baka mahulog ka."

Iritang sambit ko, Wade just chuckled and then handed me a walkie talkie.

"Anong gagawin ko dito?"

Taas ang isang kilay na sambit niya.

"Lilia Fiorenza."

He called my name, nangunot ang noo ko rito.

"Will you say yes?"

He asked using the walkie talkie.

"For what?"

I asked, ngumiti lang ito saakin saka umatras pa.

"The heck Wade?"

I uttered, sumaludo ito saakin saka kumindat. Nanlaki ang mata ko nang bigla nalamang itong tumalon palabas!

"Wade!!"

I shouted, namuo ang luha sa mga mata ko kasabay ng mabilis na pagtulo ng luha mula sa mga mata ko.

"Lilia Fiorenza."

It's Wade's Voice.

"Baliw ka ba?!"

Sigaw ko.

"If you say yes now, I'll open my parachute."

He uttered.

"Yes! Yes! Now open your goddamn parachute or I'll break up with you, you Lunatic dumbass!"

I shouted.

"So it's a yes?"

He responded.

"Yes! do you hear me?! Yes!"

I shouted again, he chuckled, kasabay nito ay ang natanaw kong pagbukas ng isang parachute. 'Will you marry me?' That's what written in there, lalo pang bumuhos ang luha sa mga mata ko.

"Will you marry me?"

He asked, nanghihina lamang akong napaluhod habang tanaw iyon.

"I'll fucking kill you when I get down there."

I said with a smile on my face while still crying. Sa burol kung saan ako dinala noon ni Wade lumapag ang helicopter. Agad akong bumaba at nagtungo sa direksiyon ni Wade na ang lakas ng loob na ngumiti pa saakin.

"So---"

I didn't let him finished and immiditately slapped him. Hindi pa man ito nakakareact ay agad kong hinawakan nang kwelyo niya at hinila siya palapit saakin upang halikan siya.

"You scared the hell out of me, next time you pull this kind of trick, ako na mismo papatay sayo."

Masungit na sambit kong nagpatawa sakaniya. I just rolled my eyes on Wade who is grinning ear to ear right now. 

"Wag mo akong nginingitian diyan, baka hindi kita matantyang lalaki ka!"

I said irritatedly and sighed.

"Ask me again Wade Andrada."

Seryosong sambit ko, ngumiti ito saakin

"First let me tell you something."

He said, ngayon ko lang din napansin na naririto pala ang lahat at nakangiti saamin. His parents, our friends, the people in the hacienda, the San Diegos and my sister. Nakagat ko ang labing napatitig kay Wade.

It's almost sun set, mabilis ang kabog ng puso ko habang titig na titig sa lalaking mahal ko.

"When I first met you, I felt like I found my missing piece I didn't know I don't have. All my life I felt empty, but when you came, I felt completed. Noong una palang pakiramdam ko ay matagal na kitang kilala. It was as if we have connected strings, it was as if we were bound to meet each other. It felt like I am fated to love you that the moment I met you, my heart already knew."

He said, patuloy lang ang pag agos ng luha sa mga mata ko. Ngumiti saakin si Wade saka pinunasan iyon.

"I myself couldn't understand that time, After meeting that incridible woman, I just couldn't stop talking and thinking about her."

He chuckled.

"Naririndi na nga saakin ang mga kaibigan ko noon. That's why I decided to follow you, years after years I just couldn't forget you, it's as if you were already permanently engraved in my heart and soul. That's why I was beyond happy when we became together, the moment you said you love me too, para akong aatakihin sa puso.

I love you so much Lilia, I love you so much that this lifetime is not enough, and if ever we'll be given second life, I will find you again, it doesn't matter how many lives I will have, I will find you and love you again and again till I reach my last life, till my very last breath, I will love you only.

So Lilia Fiorenza, infront of our loveones, I want to ask you again another chance, a chance to be with you, to grow old with you."

Mahabang litanya niya, hindi ko alam kung ano bang dapat gawin, pero naiiyak nalamang ako sa sobrang kasiyahan.

"I'm too old for you, I will be the first one to grow weaker, older, to become forgetful."

I said, ngumiti siya saakin.

"Then I will take care of you, I want to spend my whole life with you, I want to spend every second with you, I want to grow old with you, you're the only woman I want to spend the rest of my life with."

He uttered, humugot ito ng malalim na hininga saka kinuha ang singsing sakaniyang bulsa at dahan dahang lumuhod. Lalo akong napaiyak roon habang nakatitig sa gawi niya. 

"I-I-I just can't believe I will get to experience this. I can't believe I will love someone like this, I can't believe someone will be willing to spend their life with me. A-Akala ko hindi ito para saakin, turns out I am just waiting for you to come all this time."

I said while crying, Wade smiled at me genuinely.

"Then please Lilia, let me be with you for eternity, and I promise, it will all be worth it."

Wade then reached my hand while looking at my eyes intently.

"I'm begging you, Marry me Lilia Fiorenza."

Nakagat ko ang labing unti unting tumango.

"Yes Wade! Yes!"

I answered, Malakas na napahiyaw ang mga tao roon na nagpatawa saamin. Kasabay ng pag ulan ng mga rose petals na nanggagaling mula sa isang hot air balloon sa itaas.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!"

Wade said in so much joy as he put the ring on my finger. Natawa nalamang ako nang bigla nalamang niya akong yakapin saka halikan.

"I love you."

He whispered making me smile.

"I love you Wade."

I said.

"Lilia!"

It's San Diego, he's pushing my sister's wheel chair, she's now smiling at me brightly. Hindi parin maputol ang ngiting naiiyak na nagtungo ako sa direksiyon niya at niyakap siya.

"F-F-Finally."

She said while smiling at me, naluha ako roong hindi makapaniwalang tumingin kay ate.

"Ypu talked! You can talk now!"

I said with so much glee, ngumiti itong tumango.

"We want to surprise you. Congratulations on your engagement Lilia."

Sambit ng asawa ni Ate, ngumiti akong tinanguan siya.

"I-I'm s-s-s-so happy f-f-fr you L-Lilia."

She again said, malapad akong napangiti saka mahigpit siyang niyakap.

"Yes, I'm so happy ate. I really am."

I said then looked at Wade's direction, kumindat ito saka nginitian ako.

 I've rejected countless of men before, to the point that it felt like love is not really for me, I thought it's alright, I thought I'm contented.

But when Wade came, I felt complete without realizing I was incomplete before. Maybe It was really destiny, it's my fate to only love him.

In our life, it doesn't mean it's late, it's not for you. Maybe it's not really late but is just waiting for the right time for you to have.

And right now? I can say that I am trully happy and contented, with my family, friends, and the man I am fated to love.
