❝ memories of time ❞
fun fact: i designed the first cover of this
series a total of four times, this one being the
fourth and final one, of course, because
i was just not satisfied with the results of the
first three. this one finally turned out somewhat
how i imagined it in my head. finally.

❝ embracing chaos ❞
hunting for the perfect male model for this
one was actually harder than i thought it would
be. apparently there's a scarcity of good shirtless
male models' stock. also, in case you wonder why
he had to be shirtless anyway, i have three words:
teenage female wattpaders. they gotta click for
this, init? you're welcome author.

❝ staffs of destiny ❞
my initial thought about this cover was
honestly that after this cover, there's no way
i'm gonna be able to tolerate any more pink
anywhere for a while. but then this thing actually
turned out to not be ugly, and the pink actually
looks fantabulous with that purple. i'm still
so surprised about this one.

❝ child of night ❞
fun fact: i actually didn't remember at all
that this character was supposed to have powers
over shadows, or that the title had "night" in it when
i was designing the cover. but i coincidentally just
decided to put in a moon on the cover and go with
some dark colors and design. then at the end when
i checked what the title was supposed to be, that's
when i found out what an amazing coincidence
all of it was.

❝ memories of time ❞
half of the time, while designing this one, i
was crying about how it looks too orange-yellow
and there's too much fire, then the next moment
i was adding even more fire than there already was
in the cover, and then the next moment i was crying
about too much fire again. this cover gave me a total
mental breakdown, but it finally turned out
well-balanced, and now i feel like this might be one
of my favorite covers from this series.
