PLOT:

In which Davina Claire finds an old box full of her mother's belongings and remembers her.

From the moment Harriet Claire laid eyes on her precious baby girl, she knew she wasn't going to be alone. She knew she was going to protect that baby with her life. Even if it meant losing hers.

Davina Claire, had a family before she was adopted by the mother that sacrificed her. Harriet and Davina had a bond unlike any other, they were each other's one true love.

SYNOPSIS DIALOGUE:

❝ Schoolbag in hand, she leaves home in the early morning
Waving goodbye with an absent-minded smile
I watch her go with a surge of that well-known sadness
And I have to sit down for a while
The feeling that I'm losing her forever
And without really entering her world
I'm glad whenever I can share her laughter

→ Harriet had Davina when she was in her sophomore year of college, Davina's father abandoned them.

→ The story is based on the song "Slipping Through my Fingers".

→ The Au is their relationship since Davina was born, also add some chapters for Harriet's background.

→ If it isn't clear Harriet died, that's why Davina was gave up for adoption. You can choose if she was murdered by the witches or if she died of natural causes.

→ Meryl is the ghost form of Harriet, seeing as she died looking like Lily James.

This is used to be a plot of one of my stories that I never finished. I loved the idea of it, I just forgot about and never made it public. I would honestly love to see someone write this. I'm even debating if I try to do it myself, but I know I don't have time.
