Without your knowledge L has the biggest crush on of course you were his first love so he was confused of those feelings. He couldn't focus in work and that was what pushed him to the point of knowing what the hell was that.

He finally decided to ask Misa.

L's pov

I get fed up with those things. How do I get rid of them? Maybe I should ask Misa she seems to be experienced.

" Misa" I called for her when she was in the hallway.

"Hmm? What is it L?" She asked with a questioned look.

"Well I have weird feelings towards someone and I thought you may know them" I  said.

Misa just stared at me before bursting out with

"IT'S (Y/N), ISN'T IT? YOU LOVE HER ,RIGHT? FINALLY MY SHIP WILL SAIL SAFELY"

"Wait Misa I don't know if it's love"

"COME ON,THE WAY YOU ACTS WHEN SHE'S AROUND SAYS IT ALL"

"No I act normally" I said.

"What? You always get upset when she leaves and blush when she praises you, that's obvious as sun"

'Do I really do this? Well that's EXTREMELY awkward now'

"What do I do about this?" I asked Misa not knowing what to do.

"Well you should just go and tell her she. I can guarantee you that she feels the same way" Misa replied. Her last sentence made me feel relieved a bit.

"Well I will try" I said not sure.

"YES MY SHIP!" she yelled.

"Hey, I am still here" I reminded her. "Well I am going".

I shrugged what she said off and went to (Y/N)'s room.

I was really nervous. I was sweating a lot.

I stood in front of her door taking a deep breath. 'Okay. However this is gonna end it's worth trying'

I knocked the door then hearing faint foot steps coming closer. (Y/N) opened the door and looked at me confused why did I come now.

"Is there something, L?" She asked.

I took a deep breath before opening my mouth.

"(Y/N), I have feelings for you"

She just stood there in shock not being able to process that.

"I understand if you don't feel the same and you don't have to repl-"I continued but (Y/N)  cut me off.
"L, How in the world you are the world's greatest detective and you couldn't even figure out whether I feel the same or not? I love you, idiot"

Before any warning I pulled (Y/N) into a tight hug she was surprised but soon hugged me back.
