It was a normal day in (Y/N)'s life, another day of being the prisoner of her own mind.

(Y/N) was depressed no one in the task force knew that. She had been keeping her emotions and never broke in front of anyone; and that's just made it worse.

(Y/N) came downstairs to where the taskforce were. And as expected she put her famous emotionless face.

Your pov

I sat down as usual and began to work.

"(Y/N) is there's something?" L asked me.

"No everything is alright" The same reply over and over.

"Oh ok" L said.

(Time skip by Pepsi)

It has been 3 hours since I started working.I don't know why but I feel like crying even though nothing happened today maybe it's because I held my sobs those last days.

'No no no damn shit I can feel the tears at the corner of my eye'

I excused myself to the bathroom the second I closed the door I felt the tear down my cheek. I tried to calm myself but that was no use I gave up and let the tears go down.

After a while I heard the door knock.

"(Y/N)? Is everything alright? You have been there for a while" I heard L say.

"Y-yes e-everything is a-alright"

'damn my voice is cracked damn it damn it' I thought.

"Were you crying?" He asked.

'Damn it damn it damn it'

"N-no what make you think like tha-" I was cut off by L opening the door wide.

His eyes widened seeing me sitting in the corner of the restroom.

"(Y-Y/N)?"

"Damn it don't look at me just leave!" I shouted expecting him to leave. But I was wrong. I felt a pair of arms being wrapped around me.

"W-what?" I said in disbelief.

L's pov

"No of course I am not leaving you after seeing you in this state! Why didn't you tell anyone?!" I yelled.

She just stayed silent.

"Wanna go to a place more private?" I asked why looking at her.

She just noded.

I carried her and went to go to my room, of course the whole taskforce saw us I signed to watari that I will be with (Y/N) of course he understood the situation.

I put (Y/N) down when she was still holding to me because she was shaking.

'Is this really the same bossy dominated emotionless (Y/N)?' I thought while looking at her shaking figure.

I made her sit on the bed then I sat next to her. Before she could talk I wrapped my arms around her hugging her tightly. She first flinched but huged me back, I could feel her tears soaking my T-shirt.

"Wanna talk about it?" I asked while patting her back.

She kept silent for a moment then nodded.

"I... She began. "I am d-dep-depressed" I was shocked hearing those words from her. But quickly tightened my hug around her.

"From when you were like this?" I asked.

"Maybe 3 years" she replied.

'3 years. 3 whole fucking years she was depressed? And suffering alone like that?! And somehow she managed to keep her emotionless strong personality?' I thought

We kept talking and she showed me her selfharm scars some of them were really deep. I kept hugging her all the day. We made a promise that whenever she feel something wrong or down she would tell me.

(Time skip to the middle of the next day)

Your pov

"So (Y/N)  you really had emotions?" Light asked.

"Lig-"  I cut L off.

"No L I want to listen to him" I said while moving my chair to Look at light.

"I mean (Y/N) you're strong and emotionless how could you fall for depression I mean yeah it's something horrible but you could have just got out of it and you really showed your emotions and that's ooc"

I stayed silent then a creepy smile found its way to my face.

"Oh really?  So is it a crime to show my emotions after hiding them? And is that a problem for you? If it is then I don't care and you say I could have just got out of it TRY GOING THROUGH THE HELL I HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND SEE IF YOU CAN GET OUT THAT EASILY and me being strong maybe I am but at least I need someone once a while to hug me and tell me  that everything will be alright and that was L! So Light can you shut the fuck up and go back to your work if you don't know a fucking thing!" I shouted.

Everybody in the taskforce was shocked and staring at me.

"(Y/N), did he?" L asked I knew what he meant.

"Yes" I replied.

L grabbed my arm to the hallway where nobody was there. He hugged me tightly knowing that I was really hurted by Light's words. I hugged him back letting some tears.

"L I love you"

"I love you too, (Y/N)"

And days kept passing with me and my savoir loving each other.
