It was a day before L's birthday and as his girlfriend you wanted to make him an AMAZING birthday so you decided to keep it a secret from him

Your POV

L's birthday is tomorrow so I decided to invite near, mello and Matt since he miss them of course. I also thought of making it in my apartment and told watari to bring him there that day. And the most important thing I will bake 2 HUGE cakes one for us and the other one for L only.

I giggled when I thought of, that as I came downstairs.

The day skiped in a blink of  eye I felt tired and luckily I had finished my work earlier.

"L I am going to sleep, goodnight"

"Goodnight (Y/N) " L said without looking at me.

I then climbed the stairs thinking of what is going to turn out tomorrow.

I felt the sunlight in my eyes telling me to wake up. I woke up today earlier than usual luckily today was a day off so I went to my apartment to bake the cakes after I had brought the ingredients yesterday.

Then after making the cake mix I decided to call watari to tell him the time.

"Yes miss (Y/N)?" Watari asked

"Hello watari I just wanted to tell you to bring L at 6"

"Understood. Did the three come yet?"

"No, but I expect them to come after 15 minutes"

"OK then see you at the time miss (Y/N)"

"Bye watari" I said then closed the phone. Not after a 5 minutes I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door to see 3 white, blond and red heads.

"You finally came I was waiting for you" I said while smiling at them.

"Sorry for being late" Matt said.

"Okay come in and help me with the decorations" I said while opening the door for them.

L's POV

'It's my birthday today' I thought, 'I really wanted (Y/N) to spend it today with me but it was a day off so it's expected from her to go out or something' I kept thinking about (Y/N) until watari told me to come in the limo.

"What is it, watari?" I asked him with a questioned face.

"Just come in, L"

I was confused at the beginning but soon climbed to the car.

"Watari where are we going?" I asked.

"Just wait L" Watari said as I saw him driving to who-knows where. We stopped in front of a small building. Then watari guided me to the second floor to 8 room. Watari knocked as my thoughts begin to increase. Watari leaned a side telling me to open the door. I opened the door only to see decorations falling on me and (Y/N) jumping on me and hugging me.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY L!!!" They all said even watari unexpectedly shouted. I was so shocked and surprised.

"Did you all guys prepared this?"I asked with a shocked face

"No, actually (Y/N) was the one who prepare this we helped her" Matt said. I looked at (Y/N)  with her smiling at me.

I then hugged her and told her "This is the best birthday I ever had". She just smiled and hugged me back "I am glad you're happy" she whispered to me.

Then after the presents it was the cake time! I of course was the most one excited to it. I didn't expect the day to be more amazing until I saw (Y/N)  pushing a table with wheels and on it Two huge strawberry cakes. I kept staring at the cake and (Y/N)  giggled. "What are you waiting? Dig in!" (Y/N) shouted at me while handing me a fork.

(Time skip after the birthday, everybody left and you and L are cuddling in bed)

"(Y/N)" I said while caressing her cheek.

"Hmmm?"

"Thank you"

"For what?" She said while opening her eyes.

"For remembering and celebrating my birthday" I said while smiling at her"

"It's my duty as a girlfriend after all... Expect more of that in the future" she said while shutting her eyes.

I chuckled "I will".

Not after a while (Y/N) fell asleep, I covered her with the blanket and was about to lay on the bed and sleep since I was tired and it was rare for me to sleep so I took the opportunity but I saw plasters and cuts on (Y/N)'s fingers. 'She must got them from making the cakes'. I kissed her fingers and wrapped my arms around her to sleep.
