You were famous by everyone in the taskforce for being emotionless. Ever since they met you they didn't see a single smile in your face okay until you saw L. You were all the time hiding your feelings like they didn't exist except when you are around L you face lit up and you talk more and smile.

Of course everyone figured out that you love L. But couldn't do a thing since they knew you would kill them and make their bones a chair if they told L. Even so,Misa risked her eyeballs being eaten by uta after you would get them out with a spoon.

Everybody was working as usual till Misa broke the silence.

"L do you wanna know a secret?" Misa told L.

He didn't response to her as he continued working.

"Come on, it's about (Y/N)" she added.

That caught his attention. He moved his chair so he was looking at Misa. As the task force was praying for you to forgive her stupidity.

"What is it?" L asked out of curiosity.

You were hearing every single word but kept silent to see if Misa had the courage to do that.

Misa took a deep breath "(Y/N) LOVES YOU" she said before looking at you then shiver; you were giving a dark aura you didn't expect her to be that brave.

L then looked at you wondering how the hell did you fall for him.

But you just stood up took Misa's hand and drag her with you...

When you two were finally alone you gave her a death glare.

"W-wait (Y/N), you do know I did that for your sake, r-right?" She said while waving in the air.

You gave up, she was right, you were planning to confess anyway so she didn't harm. You then signed and looked at her. She could see fear in your eyes... Fear of rejection. You told her not to open her mouth again she just nodded and went away.

You stood there thinking about how much weight was on you shoulders. You made your way to your seat again 'just kill me now' that was what you were thinking about from this awkward situation.

(Hours later)

It was night,you finished your work so you were going to sleep but when you were in front of your room's door you heard L calling for you.

"(Y/N), can we talk for a second?" L asked you.

'Shit' you thought.

"Sure" you replied trying to hide hour nervousness.

"Is what Misa said true?" He asked.

"So what if it is?" You replied looking away from him.

"I am glad then because I feel the same way"

You fast looked at L only to see him smiling at you. You couldn't believe your ears.

L just leaned closer to you so he can kiss you. He gently pressed his lips against yours.

You were so happy. Being with the person you love and knowing that he feels the same way you were the happiest person on earth-chan.

After a few seconds the both of you pulled away taking your breaths.

"I love you (Y/N)"

"I love you too"

The both of you leaned again to share another kiss.
