You woke up. You had that dream again. It was like a dream, but way shorter. Maybe a vision. You woke up on a green couch. Oh, You remember. Papyrus invited you to sleep at his place. You stretched and decided to turn on the TV. Unfortunately it startled you since it was at 100 volume. You froze and turned it off quickly. You then pressed hard on the controller and lowered the volume. You turned it on again and raised the volume to 5. You really didn't wanna wake up anyone. Apparently, you did. Woops.

"HEY HUMAN! DID YOU FALL OFF THE COUCH OR SOMETHING? THERE WAS ALOT OF NOISE!" Papyrus looked at you.

"Oh, Um.. Sorry. I woke you up, didn't I? No, I just wanted to watch some TV and the volume was all the way up." You said nervously, scratching your head.

Papyrus was rubbing his eyes and immediately stopped. "WHAT, NO! I WAS TOTALLY AWAKE! I WAS PLAYING WITH THE CARPET!" 

You knew he was lying to make you not feel bad, but you went along with it. "Oh, I didn't- sorry Papyrus." 

"IT'S OKAY HUMAN! SANS IS SLEEPING RIGHT NOW, HE USUALLY WAKES UP AT 3, IF NOT, THEN AT 12. HE'S A HEAVY SLEEPER." Papyrus looked at Sans' room.

"Anyway, Papyrus I met Mettaton yesterday! And guess what I have to-" You stopped yourself.

You remembered you had to start your practicing yesterday. You totally forgot! Well, one day couldn't hurt, right? You would start practicing today.

"AWESOME THAT'S AMAZING! NYEH- HEH- HEH!" Papyrus looked back at you.

"Well, I have to do these dances! And you know what for? You know that stage being built here at the intersection? Well, Mettaton invited me to dance with him! I have to practice these moves." You smiled.

"REALLY, HUMAN? THAT'S AMAZING!!!!" Papyrus yelled really loud that it almost shook the whole house.

"papyrus, shut the hell up!" You heard a voice say upstairs. You then giggled.

Papyrus rolled his eyes. "He's just jealous because he doesn't get to dance with Mettaton."  Papyrus smiled a bigger grin.

"I SAID SHUT UP!" You heard Sans yell upstairs.

"Wow, he really can be loud." You smiled really big.

"OH MY GOD, THIS IS WHY I GO TO GRILLBY'S!" Sans yelled even louder.

You giggled even louder.

"Well, I'm gonna practice these dances." You looked back to Papyrus.

"OOH! CAN I WATCH, HUMAN?" Papyrus pleaded.

"Of course! You don't have to ask." You smiled at him.

After about maybe 4 hours, Papyrus was still watching and you were happy about that. You learned maybe about more than a quarter of the book's dancing. You practiced them all twice. The next part was your solo. You had to practice that the most so you decided to stop. You looked around and noticed Undyne sitting on the couch. After you stopped, she decided to clap. Your cheeks felt hot because you thought only Papyrus was in the room.

"Papyrus! Why is Undyne here?" You looked at Papyrus with a death glare.

"I INVITED HER BECAUSE YOUR DANCING WAS SO GOOD! SHE WAS HERE FOR 2 HOURS AND SHE LIKED IT!" Papyrus comforted you.

You looked back at the couch, and Sans was gone.

"OH, SANS WAS HERE, HE DIDN'T SEE YOU THOUGH. HE TOLD ME HE WAS GONNA GO TO GRILLBY'S BECAUSE HE FORGOT SOMETHING. HE LEFT 1 HOUR AGO. WONDER WHAT HE'S UP TO. PROBABLY TALKING TO THAT PURPLE DOOR AGAIN." Papyrus rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Punk! That dancing was pretty good!" Undyne flashed a big smile at you.

"Anyway, I came to tell you guys that there's gonna be a party in two days at 6 and it's gonna be amazing. It will be at Toriel's old house. The thing is, Toriel nor Asgore are gonna be there. Everyone else will be there though. Come or I'll throw this spear at you punk!" Undyne took out a spear.

You backed away slowly until Papyrus spoke up.

"OH REALLY? COOL! IF YOU WANT YOU CAN COME WITH US HUMAN. WE HAVEN'T REALLY HAD ANY PARTIES RECENTLY. THAT WOULD BE COOL!" Papyrus looked at Undyne, then at you.

"So yeah, come if you dare!" Undyne clenched her fist on the table.

"Alright." You said.

"Well, I'm gonna head back home, see you in two days!" Undyne said as she slammed the door behind her.

"Wow, I wonder how monster parties feel like." You said out loud.

"THEY ARE EXTREMELY FUN! WE USED TO HAVE PARTIES ON THE SURFACE. THEY WERE OF COURSE FUNNER THOUGH, THERE WERE THESE THINGS CALLED, 'SLIDES' THAT YOU HOP ON AND YOU FALL OVER INTO SOMETHING. WE ALSO HAD THESE THINGS CALLED 'TRAMPOLINES' AND YOU JUMP AND IT'S FUN!" "NOW WE DON'T HAVE PARTIES AS FUN AS THOSE, BUT WE HAVE KARAOKE MACHINES! YOU SING!" Papyrus took a deep breath after saying all those words really quickly.

You looked at him in confusion, but then you got a bit of it. "Cool! Well, I'll try to make the party like old days then." You said confidently.

"YAY! I'M SO EXCITED!" Papyrus yelled again as you covered your ears.

"Well, I'm gonna go take a stroll through Snowdin. I'm feeling kind of tired and I need a break, alright?" You looked at Papyrus.

Papyrus nodded in response, and you headed out.

You took a stroll through Snowdin. You decided to not head in the shop because you didn't want that to happen again. You speed-walked through the shop, not wanting anything bad to happen. You then saw the bridge you first crossed to reach Snowdin. You crossed through it and looked around. You decided to go back to the purple door that lead to the ruins. You headed back and saw Sans facing the door while sitting down. What happened? Let's see..

"Sans, are you okay?" You questioned him and got closer.

"yeah, i am. why doesn't tory answer?" He responded.

"S-she needed some time with the king." You stuttered.

"she left? how didn't i see her then?" Sans looked at me suspiciously.

"I don't know. That's what Alphys told me." I explained.

"i have a question. how did you get to hotland that quickly? there's no way you could've gotten to hotland that quickly. waterfall takes about a day to get through. i also see you met alphys." Sans turned around completely. He stands up and leans on the purple door.

You didn't want him to worry. You didn't. So you decided to lie.

"Oh, it's fine Sans. I just took the river person." You lied.

"Y/N. I can see it in your eyes. You're lying." Sans's eyes turned to frustration.

How did he know? Papyrus believed me.

"Okay. Fine. I walked out of the Snowdin shop and then I got blacked out. I woke up in a weird area. I found an elevator and it went up. Then I appeared in Alphys's lab. I was in her basement. Then I met Mettaton and Alphys. Mettaton told me to stay at your place." You looked down in embarrassment.

"thanks. i have one question for you though." Sans started.

"What is it? I'm a dumb person? I know." You mumbled.

"no. just. why did you lie to me?" Sans looked down.

I looked up at him. "I just didn't want you to worry. I'm genuinely sorry, Sans." You then looked at him with pleading eyes.

Sans looked up again. "You coming to the party in two days?" Sans started speaking more clearer.

You nodded. "How did you know?" You looked back up at him.

"I just know." He responded.

It was silent for a while. Maybe 5 minutes. Felt like 5 hours.

"Hey, Sans. I want to tell you something." You looked at his hoodie he had on his head.

I looked back at him. "You're actually the monster I most hang out with. Or understand. I just want you to know..."

There was a pause.

You then turned around the opposite way. "If you ever need a friend, I'm here." You said and then started walking back to Snowdin.

After what felt like forever, you arrived at Snowdin. You decided to change since it got colder in the afternoon. The coldest was in the morning. Luckily, you didn't wake up that early. You were still wearing the f/c tanktop Sans bought you so you headed back to Papyrus's house. You entered the bathroom. (which was between Papyrus and Sans's room.) You opened the doorknob and locked it behind you. You then changed into your old clothes Papyrus cleaned. You decided to buy new clothes because you only had a tanktop and your old clothes for everyday. You changed and walked into the Snowdin shop cautiously. You saw the lady again. She smiled and waved. She then started saying what she had since she knew what you were gonna say. She said she had Cinnabun, f/c jacket, and bread. She also listed your favorite color because she knew what it was already. You both chatted for a bit and you decided to buy the f/c jacket since it was really cold in Snowdin. You didn't wanna get sick. You then put on the f/c jacket and headed outside. You saw some monsters playing together. You smiled at them and then went inside Papyrus's house and sighed. You left your bag there since it was getting heavy and put it down on the couch. You decided to go to Grillby's and chillax. You then left Papyrus's house and headed to Grillby's. You forgot about all the dogs. You shrugged off their looks. Now though, not all of them were looking at you. It was only some of them. You then sat down on the seat. You looked up at Grillby. You were about to say what you wanted, but the plate was already in front of you. You smiled at Grillby and handed him the money. You even gave him an extra tip. He smiled and handed you a drink of 'Starfait' as it read on the cup. You slurped it and it tasted amazing! You slurped all of it. You then dug it your food. You turned around and the dogs were minding their own business. That's good. You checked the time. It was 9. You decided to go back to Papyrus's house and rest. You fell asleep.

You again dreamed of that blue light. This time though, you dreamed of a blue light and something else. You couldn't remember though, you just remembered the blue light. In the dream or vision, or whatever it was, you tried to do something else. You decided to touch the blue light. Once you touched it, it got away. A few seconds later, it came in really close and then you woke up. Wow. Ever since you've got the book, the blue light dream has been happening. Odd.

You woke up and saw Papyrus watching Mettaton on the TV. You curled up in a ball because you noticed that your legs were on his. He didn't really mind, but you did. You took off you legs off quickly and sat up correctly.

"Sorry Papyrus. I didn't mean to." You said nervously.

"OH, I DIDN'T NOTICE! IT'S OKAY HUMAN!" Papyrus looked at you.

You smiled back. "Where's Sans? Is he sleeping?" You asked.

"NO, HE WOKE UP EARLY TODAY. HE TOLD ME HE HAD TO GET FRESH AIR OR SOMETHING." Papyrus said.

You nodded and decided to go and apologize to Sans for lying to him. You grabbed your bag. You then told Papyrus you were gonna get some air too. Papyrus nodded in response and you walked out the door. It was really early, so fortunately you had your f/c jacket. You walked inside Grillby's thinking that Sans would be there. He wasn't. He was probably at Toriel's door. You walked back to Toriel's door and he wasn't there either. You searched the whole Snowdin town and he wasn't there. You shrugged and went to Snowdin forest. You found him. He was sitting down in front of snow Papyrus and snow Sans; which was a rock that said 'Sans.' He was sitting in front of them with his hood up. He was looking down. Wonder what happened to him. You decided to go up to him and tap on his shoulder. He got startled a bit. He looked up at you.

"Sans. You probably still are mad at me, but I wanted to say sorry for lying to you. You must really hate liars. You're my friend, and I want you to be happy." You said and sat next to him.

He looked down at the floor again. He finally spoke up. "Friend? I don't have any."

You looked at him in shock. "How about Undyne, Alphys, Mettaton, Toriel, and all of the other monsters?"

"they barely talk to me. only toriel talks to me the most." Sans looked at you with sad eyes. "i'm alone here, don't you see?"

You wanted to help him. You really did. You decided to comfort him. You wanted EVERYBODY to be happy.

"Sans. Am I not your friend?" Sans then looked down after you said that.

"i don't know." He mumbled.

"Wanna go to Waterfall? I wanna chat." You said to try and cheer him up.

He nodded and stood up.

You both walked to Waterfall. You both talked on the way there, and you made Sans more cheery. You then sat down on a pretty area surrounded by echo flowers.

"so um.. kiddo.." Sans started.

"Take care of yourself, because someone out there really cares about you." Sans looked up at the flowing water with that fake smile of his.

You smiled, knowing he accepted your 'friend offer.'

"Thanks, Sans." You said with a giggle.
