You walked around and spotted Papyrus in the room. He waved and quickly went down the stairs to hug you. You hugged Papyrus back.

"Hey, Papyrus!" You looked at him after.

"HEY, HUMAN! I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HANG OUT WITH ME AND UNDYNE!" Papyrus looked at you pleadingly.

"Sure! I'm fine with that." You responded.

"YES! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL HANG OUT WITH YOU AND UNDYNE!" Papyrus said.

You smiled in response and grabbed your jacket. You went to change clothes and afterwards you headed back to Papyrus.

"When are we going, and who's coming?" You asked Papyrus.

"ONLY ME, UNDYNE, AND YOU!" Papyrus smiled widely.

"WE ARE HEADING RIGHT NOW!" Papyrus said as he adjusted his scarf and ran out the door.

You shrugged and followed Papyrus to Waterfall. You had to run a bit to catch up to him, but it was fine. You walked and walked until you arrived at Undyne's door with Papyrus.

"Hey, Undyne." You said as you saw her at the door.

"Hey Punk, Hey Papyrus!" She let out a big smile.

"Ready to have our awesome hangout?" Undyne walked to the side so you and Pap could walk in.

Papyrus nodded happily and you did too. You then walked inside with Papyrus as Undyne shut, or well, slammed the door.

"Let's cook!" Undyne slammed her fist on the table and walked to the kitchen counter. She took out tomatoes, eggs, milk, and all that cooking stuff. She slammed most of the food, and made a huge mess. You, Undyne, and Papyrus had a good time. You all cooked and got a mess all over yourselves at one time. You even learned how to cook! Since you and Papyrus had such an amazing time, you and him both agreed to have a sleepover. Papyrus slept with you on the couch. You were glad the couch extended to a bed so you and Papyrus would not get squished.

You woke up after dreaming about that blue light and spotted Papyrus watching Mettaton on the couch. You spoke, and that startled him a bit.

"Watching Mettaton, eh?" You said as you stretched.

Papyrus jumped a bit, and lowered the volume. "SORRY, HUMAN. I DIDN'T MEAN TO WAKE YOU UP!"

"Nah, it's fine. I wanted to wake up early anyway, I have to do some stuff.." You responded while you sat up.

You got up, changed, and had more fun with Papyrus and Undyne. You guys did a prank war and you and Papyrus let Undyne win before she would throw someone off a cliff as a prank. Any who, you went back to Snowdin with Papyrus. You both talked on the way there. Papyrus was a bit too loud for waterfall, but you didn't really mind. You both arrived at Snowdin. You took off your jacket and spotted Sans on the couch. You waved at him and he waved back.

"Hey Sans." You smiled at him.

"Sup." He responded as he laid his body on the couch.

"SANS, YOU ACCOMPANY THE HUMAN. I HAVE TO BUY MORE SPAGHETTI! WE RAN OUT. SEE YOU LATER!" Papyrus said as he looked in the fridge and ran out the door.

A few seconds later, you looked at the door, then at Sans. You scratched the back of your neck.

"Hey, wanna hang out again?" You said as you cringed.

He's probably gonna say no, but why not give it a shot?

Sans looked at you and flashed a big grin.

"sure. that'll be cool." Sans responded.

"Awesome! Let me get my jacket." You said as you grabbed your jacket and jumped up and down giddily.

"excited, huh?" Sans said as he sat up on the couch correctly, gesturing you to sit.

You nodded quickly and smiled.

Sans cleared his throat. "How about we hang indoors this time?" He asked.

You nodded in response and took off your jacket. You were really excited. You had lots of fun yesterday. You waited until Sans did something.

"So.. Uh, what are we gonna do?" You asked Sans eagerly.

"chill." Sans said as he put his legs on you and laid on the couch.

"Sans, seriously? Come on let's do-" Before you could continue, you heard Sans gently snoring.

You rolled your eyes and tried to get his legs off, but he just put them back. You tried to shake him awake, but he didn't wake up. You shot him a death glare even though you knew he couldn't see it. You groaned and crossed your arms. You felt yourself growing drowsy, but before you did you tensed up as Papyrus bolted inside the room.

"HUMAN! I GOT YOU MORE-"  "OH." Papyrus said as he held a bag and looked at you and Sans.

"I TOLD SANS NOT TO GO TO SLEEP! THAT BONEHEAD!" Papyrus said as he stomped his right foot onto the floor.

You couldn't help but let out a giggle. "Hey, Papyrus! We were gonna hang out again, but I guess he wasn't in the mood.." You looked down.

You swore you felt Sans move. "DON'T WORRY HUMAN! HE ALWAYS ACTS LIKE THIS. HE IS REALLY LAZY." Papyrus eyed Sans.

"I'LL MAKE SOME SPAGHETTI FOR YOU! YOU HAVEN'T EATEN SPAGHETTI IN FOREVER! YOU CAN STAY THERE, I'LL COME IN A BIT!" Papyrus said as he took off into the kitchen.

You looked at Sans for what felt like a bit. You don't know why, but something about him is kind of satisfying. It was satisfying to look at him for some reason.. You then groaned because you couldn't hang out with Sans. You had a lot of fun yesterday and you wanted it to happen again. You rolled your eyes once again and played on your phone for a bit. Papyrus brought you some spaghetti and it was surprisingly good. Papyrus told you to tell him a bedtime story. You read him the bedtime story until you noticed Papyrus fell asleep in front of you with Sans. You were stuck in the corner. You didn't wanna get out because it would wake them up so you decided to join them.

You woke up to the sound of morning daylight. (And yes, that is a sound.)

You spotted Papyrus and Sans sleeping soundly next to you. You smiled at the sight and didn't know how to leave your spot. You quietly got out of the spot. You thankfully didn't wake any of them up. You changed clothes to your tanktop and jeans. You made pancakes for breakfast and left a note for Sans and Papyrus. You decided to go to waterfall again to check that door. It might've caused some changes.. Your book did glow brightly while you were in there. You also noticed after that you could understand the first word in the book. Only the first word, though. You've been inspecting the book after that, and nothing. You only know the first word. You walked through the whole waterfall two times, to the entrance of Hotland, to the entrance of Snowdin. You sighed and decided to leave for the day.

You ate at Grillby's and headed out again. You remembered how you and Sans first met and ate at Grillby's. It's been a couple of months. Maybe 6 or 7 months. You smiled at the thought and remembered how much you spent time with the monsters. You remember having meeting Sans, Undyne, Mettaton, Alphys, Papyrus, Monster Kid, and Toriel. You also remembered Mettaton. He helps you with dancing. The show was delayed a few months because Mettaton wants it to be 'extraordinary'. You also remember cooking with Undyne and Papyrus, and going on a fake date with Alphys since Undyne sent you a note to give her but it wasn't signed so Alphys thought you were telling her to go on a date. You didn't say anything, because you were too surprise about all that happened that day. It was pretty fun. You remembered how Toriel was really nice when she first met you.. Now Sans... There was something about Sans on your mind. You know there's something behind his smile, but you don't know.. Honestly, Sans is like your best friend. He hangs out with you the most, and is a cool and chill guy. The thing is, you felt something else.. You don't know what it is, but you might figure it out later.

You arrived at Hotland.

You wanted to tell Alphys sorry for not answering her on the date. You knew the dancing on stage in Snowdin was tomorrow. You learned all the dance moves yesterday. Since Mettaton extended the deadline, he also gave you more dance moves to do because he wanted the show the be the best since you were here now.

You kept walking until you were at the bridge. You saw a figure in front of the lab. You walked to it closely until the figure slashed the bridge in half. The bridge fell and you held onto it with your life. You quickly panicked and took out your phone while holding the bridge. You called Undyne for help, no answer. You called Papyrus afterwards, no answer. You called Mettaton, but when he picked up, he said he was busy. He didn't even let you talk. You called Sans, and he picked up.

"hey, kiddo." Sans started.

"Sans! Help, I'm at Hotland and I'm about to die!" You screamed.

"is this another prank?" Sans responded.

"Sans. Please. I'm serious. Help me! I'll explain later just.. Please.." You were about to cry.

All your memories lost.. If you died, you would have nothing. Everything would go away.

"woah,woah,woah.. you sound serious. alright, i'm going." Sans responded.

A few seconds later you heard a 'zwoop' and you saw a blue light up there. You heard running footsteps and Sans looked down.

"you were serious.. kid..." Sans said. 

The bridge moved downwards.

"Help!" You called out.

You felt the bridge shake. The bridge was falling. You felt something.. You were lifted off the bridge and back up. You saw the blue light around you. You noticed what was happening and quickly hugged Sans. Sans hugged back.

"Thank you, Sans. I wouldn't have known what would have happened if you weren't here." You smiled.

"don't think about that." Sans said as you heard the bridge fall in the lava.

"why didn't you call the others?" Sans asked.

"They didn't answer.. Mettaton did, but he said he was busy and didn't let me talk." You kept Sans in a hug.

"sounds like he was hot-headed." Sans winked.

You pouted a face at Sans.

"i was just trying to lighten up the mood." Sans shrugged.

You let out a small laugh. "It was a good one though."

You then let go of Sans. "Sans, thank you for everything."

"nah, it's nothing. i was wondering if we could hang out again?" Sans scratched the back of his neck.

"i mean, we don't have to i was just wondering.."

"Yes, of course. I was wondering if we could hang out as well. We haven't hung out in a while." You jumped out and down giddily.

"anyway, what were you doing here in hotland anyway?" Sans looked at you as if he raised an eyebrow at you.

"I was going to tell Alphys an apology for something.." You looked down.

"sorry for all the questions, but i gotta know.. what caused you to fall? this bridge is pretty sturdy.." Sans scratched his skull.

"This is hard to believe.. But please believe me. I was walking until I saw a figure at the end of the bridge. I was in the middle of the bridge. I was walking until it suddenly came and slashed the bridge. I know it seems unbelievable, but please.. I'm serious." You looked at Sans without laughing.

"i believe you. you're serious." Sans looked behind you, then at you.

"You can go to the lab. I'll stay here if you need me." Sans let out a smile.

You nodded at Sans and headed to the lab. You didn't want to tell Alphys about what just happened. You were glad Sans helped you. Sans was always there when you needed him.

That's why he's your best friend. But you still had that feeling. That weird feeling.

It grew stronger.
