Your POV

You woke up to notice yourself sleeping on Sans. You really didn't mind since you both were really good friends. You stayed put in your place. You don't know why, but it seemed pretty satisfying. You turned to look at Sans, and he was sleeping soundly in his place. You smiled at him, but you quickly noticed that Waterfall was weird. You looked up, but no water was dripping. The echo flowers were too quiet. You would also hear the Temmie cats singing in their place, but there's no sound. Just Sans lightly snoring, and you thinking. You stayed close to Sans, you didn't want to leave him alone nor leave by yourself. You still didn't know what Sans would do if something popped up and grabbed you. You looked around and you saw the figure again. This time, it was holding a scythe like it was at the bridge. You saw it's shadow behind the flowing waterfall. You tensed up and clenched onto Sans's leg. You closed your eyes, and opened it again to see if it would leave.

"Chara was right. This is fun." You hear a voice say.

You opened your eyes, and the figure wasn't there. You started to panic, so you turned your head and spotted the figure behind Sans.

"Who are you?!" You looked at the figure in fear.

Still, you didn't budge. You wouldn't let the figure do anything.

"I am darkness, your fear. I'm impossible to leave." It chuckled.

"I'll tell you my name later.. But I have something I need from you. If you won't give it to me, then you will pay the consequences."

"We have to talk later. My time is running out. See you soon, Y/N." The figure then disappeared with the darkness.

You didn't know what just happened. You were thinking of all the thoughts in your head. What does this figure want from you? You then felt movement. You looked at Sans and he sat up. You quickly got up from his lap noticing you were there. He just let out a chuckle.

"Morning, kiddo." Sans then winked.

You pretended to be fine. You didn't want him to worry about you or have any part of this. You would most likely get him hurt. You don't know what this figure is capable of.

"Good morning." You let out a smile.

"So how'd ya sleep?" Sans patted the area next to him for you to sit.

"Pretty great." You sat.

"How did you sleep? Still feeling tired?" You examined his eyes to check if he was gonna lie.

"Yep, I slept fine. What's with that look?" Sans raised an eyebrow.

"What look?" You responded.

"Why are you looking at my eyes like that?" Sans let out a smile.

"Nah, I was just checking if you would lie." You then got up and dusted the dirt you had off.

Sans then got up too. "So I make a great pillow, huh?"

"SANS!" You made a pout face at him.

"What? Does it really mattress that much?" Sans laughed.

You rolled your eyes and let out a small laugh.

"Hey, we should get back to our house. Papyrus could be really worried. We weren't there last night." Sans took out his hand.

"What are you taking out your hand for?" You raised and eyebrow.

"So we can teleport, duh." Sans responded.

"Let's walk there. Come on... We're not in a rush, plus you'll get more tired than walking there. We can also talk more." You said.

"True.. Alright, let's go." Sans said as he lowered his hand and started walking.

You both talked on the way there, and you finally arrived.

"Papyrus, are you there?" You yelled so he could come.

"Seems like he's not here.." Sans shrugged.

"Let me check my phone. He might've texted me." You tried to turn on your phone, but it had no battery. 

You rolled your eyes and got Alphys's portable charger in your backpack since the underground had no inputs on the walls. You waited a few minutes for it to charge, and it finally turned on. You scrolled through your text messages, and you found Papyrus. Papyrus said he was going to Undyne's to hang out. You thought that you would've seen him, but you were asleep during that time since he sent the text to you at 8 in the morning and you woke up at 10. You texted Papyrus that you were home with Sans so he wouldn't worry. He messaged back with a happy face emoji and a skeleton emoji. He also sent a picture of Undyne carrying a chair. You smiled at his text messages and closed your phone.

"So what did he say?" Sans said behind you.

You told Sans what he said and then told Sans you were gonna do something outside. Sans asked if he could come with you, but you insisted not to. You told him that he can go with you when you get back. Sans gave up and went to his room. Who knows what he does in there. You left the house, and went to collect your thoughts. You need to know who this figure is. You need to know more. The figure probably left because Sans was waking up. Maybe it only wants you. You went to Waterfall to look for the figure. But noone was there.

Since noone was there, you decided to go see Papyrus. After, you would look for the figure. You started walking to Papyrus's house. Waterfall was still pretty quiet. You don't know if Papyrus and/or Undyne would notice. You walked until you arrived at Undyne's house. You knocked and you spotted Undyne.

"Hey, punk!" She flashed a big smile at you and then she moved out of the way.

You nodded and stepped inside. The house was a mess. There was food on the walls, and the couch was flipped upside down. The table was on top of the fridge. You then let out a laugh.

"Sorry about the mess, me and Papyrus were playing a game I invented called 'Everything Fight' basically what you do is grab everything and throw it at each other. I won since Papyrus gave up as soon as I grabbed the fridge." Undyne laughed.

You then spotted Papyrus come from Undyne's room. When he spotted you he jumped up.

"HEY, HUMAN!" He quickly ran to you and hugged you. You hugged him back.

"Hey, Papyrus!" You let out a smile at him.

"UNDYNE HAS BEEN TEACHING ME HOW TO COOK AND FIGHT!" Papyrus said happily.

"That's cool!" You responded.

"Well, I should get going.. I came here to visit, but I gotta go do something.. Bye, guys!" You waved at them while you walked away. They waved back.

You were walking until you reached an area that was quieter than the rest of the area.

 You then heard a voice.

"B e h i n d   Y o u." It whispered behind your back.

You quickly turned around and saw the figure right there. In front of your face.

"What do you want?" You crossed your arms with fear since it was really close to you.

"I still need that from you. I don't know how you took it away from me." The figure smiled creepily.

It then looked at you with a even more creepy smile. "You're a glitch. You're not supposed to be here. You never was. But you're here because of me." The figure said.

"Who are you? I need to know." You ignore what it said because you thought it was a threat.

"My name is Frisk. Nice to meet you." It smiled really hard.

"And what is it that you want from me?" You raised an eyebrow.

"I want your power to reset."

There it is! This chapter is pretty short. I wanted to make it longer, but I didn't have any ideas and I really wanted to leave it in a cliffhanger. Don't worry, I won't be gone for long.
