What goes on in your head?
I hear the words you speak softly to me, but do you mean them?
If I told you my thoughts would you hear them, or would you listen to me?
Can I keep you in my mind and hold on tight, without worrying one day you'll forget me?

I'm meticulous, you're impetuous. We overthink and retract our speech.
You caught me off guard but I ignore it.  I caught you off guard but you ignore it.

I want to live in your head. A white picket fence. Do you want that too? You already travel through mine, is that how you want it?

"Are you sure?"
You don't reply.
"Do you want this?"
You just ask why.
"Will you stay with me?"
