My obsessions with a few girl characters have probably been crushes... so,,,

Idk for sure tho,,, I've never had a crush on a real person boy or girl so,,, But you know what? I've had bi reader suggested all the time so it's about time I catered. This ones a bit shorter since it's more of a light fluffy one.

Prompt: You and L fall for the same girls bc you're bi af and bond over it.

"Let me guess, you're gonna drench that popcorn in butter?" L said.

"Butter popcorn is best popcorn" you replied, shaking the freshly popped popcorn bag to mix in all the butter.

Misa, being the taskforce peacekeepers decided it was a good idea to have a movie night, get everyone calm from the constant disagreements. So she shoved them all into a room put on a DVD and killed the lights. Proceeded to realise she forgot about popcorn and told you to go make some.

You jumped over the back of the couch, landing next to L. Tearing the bag open you left the popcorn on the coffee table in the centre of the couch circle in front of the TV. You hadn't even heard of this movie before but Misa insisted it was good. The taskforce seemed kind of uninterested but it was an excuse to take a break from work so they'd go along with it.

It started off pretty generic for a hero's VS villains story. Hero has some tragic bullied past and grows up to be strong and famous and so on. But as the movie went on you had to admit you were getting pretty hooked. Before you knew if you and L had eyes glued to the screen, silently eating popcorn. The scene became intense, the hero was bleeding on the ground, smoke everywhere, the city in ruins.

Then out of the smoke stepped the villain, no one had seen them yet and this was their grand dramatic reveal.

"My god... She's hot" L said under his breath.

"I was- Dude I was literally just about to say that!" You replied.

"It's always the villains!"

"I know! Look at her, with her dramatic cape and black lipstick and long flowy hair"

"The signature villain giggle and the sly voice"

"Wow I love girls" you snickered.

"Same, we don't deserve such a pretty woman" L snickered back.

"We really don't my eyes have been blessed"

The taskforce all looked at you in confusion. Did you mean that in an admiration way or a gay way? Weren't you and L together? So you didn't like just boys?

The villain stepped down on the hero's chest, giving them an evil smirk as they taunted them.

"Wow I wish that was me" you joked.

"Tell me about it. Oh to have an evil girl taunt you as she steps on your chest" L joked back.

"I've said it once I'll say it again, black hair. It's always the black hair"

"See this is why you get a bi girlfriend. They get it"

"Oh I get it alright" you laughed.

"Hold on-" Misa said, grabbing the remote and pausing at a rather attractive angle.

"DUDE, look at that evil glare" you said.

"I know, the chills..." L replied

"(Y/n) you're bi?" Misa jumped in.

"Yeah? Why?"

"I just... never knew. You're saying all this so casually?"

"I thought it was obvious. Like, from the way I dress and my taste in music and the fact of you point a camera at me I'll throw awkward peace signs"

"The second I saw you do that I just, KNEW" L laughed.

"That's how you spot a wild bi"

"You literally walked into the room, spotted the security cameras and just threw a peace sign at it"

"It's wired into my brain" you snickered.

Misa was silent for a moment as the dots began to connect. Now that she really thought about it, it should have been obvious.

"You know now that you mention it..." she giggled.

"See? Always have been always will be"

She shrugged, pressing play on the remote and letting the movie run again. The taskforce were still confused. It's not the fact you were bi that confused them... it was the fact they just heard L say the words "Shes hot" and you immediately agree with him. Usually the two of you were more professional sounding because of case conditions.

"What? Got a problem with that?" You asked, noticing them looking  at the two of you.

"No no it's just... did I hear L say the phrase 'she's hot?" Light questioned.

You couldn't help but laugh at that one. You looked at L for his response. He just shrugged.

"What? She is" he said.

"Damn right she is" you added.
