How did this happened? I still don't know.
Just browsing, one moment on my own,
With scattered thoughts around the page
One click and I feel through the channel,
Amazed at a new world I stop entranced:
Do i believe my eyes? Is this the real deal?

The place I did not know I was searching,
That gives nocturnal life a real meaning
The largest spread before me so inviting,
A sea of worlds uncovered just awaiting.

Skipping restless with new energy found,
Same a child sprinting for the cookie jar
I dive right in, excited for a new adventure.

I find so many options, so I start sorting:
From orphan that is book smart and shy,
The nerdy kid who takes the corner seat,
One jock who's popular, but heart is beat.

Moms, dads, more relatives and friends,
Each with a life story of ups and downs
Some are unfortunate and long forgotten,
Other strive for a happy end to happened.

Further down expanding list still carries,
Magic surrounding in the land of fairies.
Were-creatures are among my favorites
Each skillful painted by a master's wand.

You get to meet a teacher and a student,
The friend that stays beside them ardent.
Let's not forget the prince and his castle,
The summoned entourage isn't a hassle.

And for all of these marvelous creations
I now give thanks to you from all nations.
A big family on Web meet from all places
Heartily are welcomed by so many faces.

I'm glad I got the chance to know of you,
Where every genre you get to read is new
Here is, the platform where magic flows
Everything is possible and talent shows.

It's here where all can freely voice ideas
Share time together from over the seas
Some brave enough to speak, or write
Bonding with some, light into the night.

Each story moves and you get lost in it,
But not a break desired until you finish it.
Not easy task to try and close the book
With each world explored in every nook.

They say that it is better late than never?
I do wish I could have found this sooner
And explore these worlds, not be a loner.
