So here we are again another 1000 years later.

I've already got the rest of this story planned I just need to find the time to put it all together.

Keep in mind I don't watch Miraculous anymore so of there are any events that don't link with the show just bear with it please.

Not like the show made an effort to be consistent either...

Marinette POV

It didn't take long for me to be released from the hospital. Luckily nothing was wrong with the baby and the doctor let me check out the next morning. Its been about a week since then.

I'm currently put on house arrest by Adrien. Under no circumstances am I allowed to leave the apartment...well actually I'm allowed to leave just not for superhero business and I have to be careful in case the public or paparazzi chases me the same way they did before.

Adrien has my miraculous with Tikki. So Mister bug has been watching over Paris for the time being. I also agreed that he could get either Alya or Ninos help in case an akuma decides to show up.

While Adrien and Tikki are out, Plagg has been keeping me company. Adrien sort of put him "in charge" of watching over me basically to make sure I don't do anything reckless. Although I am pretty sure if I wanted to, I could have easily bribed him with the block of cheese that I had stored for Adrien when he needed to be Chat Noir again, but that's a thought for another time.

Speaking of that piece of cheese, Plagg managed to find it and is now on my table watching the Aristocats.

(Yes I made a similar joke earlier in the story and now im doing again bop bop sue me.)

Im currently on the couch updating my resume on my laptop so I can look for a new job. Adrien said he'd take care of everything for me for the time being while I was carrying. However, I want to be able to have a job lined up by the end of it.

As great as things are between us there are things Im still uncertain about. I know he made it sound like he was joking when he said we'd be married one day, but I can tell he was serious.

Adrien already spends most of his time at my place. Will it be alright if I asked him to move in with me? Is it too soon for me to ask that? Are we going to fast? Oh who am I kidding Im already pregnant with his baby how fast can we get?!

I sigh and close my laptop. This whole situation has my head spinning. Between the scandal, the baby, and finding out Adrien was Chat Noir. It's hard to focus with so much going on. Not to mention I'm pretty sure Chloe really has it out for me now...if she didn't already before.

I get up and head to the bathroom where I look at myself in the mirror. I lift the bottom of my shirt up a bit and look at myself from the side. Im only a couple months along so not much has changed but I do feel my abdomen hardening and I can make out a slight bump starting to form.

I reach down placing a hand near the bottom of my stomach. I wonder what it'll feel like when the baby gets bigger, how I'll react to the first kick, how Adrien will react...

We haven't talked about names or whether they might be a boy or a girl. However I do have a few in mind but I'll wait to bring that up.

Funny how originally the thought of having this baby really scared me. Honestly it still does, but I can't help but feel...a little excited? Hmm, maybe not excited but definitely a pleasant emotion....happy?

Im pulled out of my thoughts when I hear a knock at the door. When I enter the living room I glance over at the table to see that Plagg is gone. Adrien has a spare key and as Chat Noir or Mister Bug he comes through my bedroom window so he most likely knew it wasn't him.

I look through the peephole and I'm shocked to see Chloe is on the other side. What the hell is she doing here and how the hell did she know where I lived?! Is she here to see Adrien? If so why doesn't she go to the Agreste mansion? Unless she couldn't find him there and decided to track me down so she can get to him! This crazy bit-!

"Open up Dupain-Cheng I know you're in there!" She yells impatiently with her hands on her hips. "I have something to say to you."

What in the world could she possibly have to talk to me about? She's pretty much the reason I can't be outside without the paparazzi trying to ambush me at the grocery store. Is she trying to pick a fight?

Ugh I really don't have the time and energy for this, maybe if I ignore her she'll go away.

"If you don't open up ill just come back! So stop wasting both our times and just open the door!"

I groan, she's making a lot of noise. I already got a complaint from the apartment for that night I spent with Adrien I really don't need another cause of Chloe. The quicker I answer the quicker I can get rid of her.

I open the door, but only slightly since I didn't take the latch off. "How in the world did you find my apartment?"

"I have my ways." She says with a smug expression. "Are you going to let me in?"

"Why on earth would I let the girl who started a scandal about me and my boyfriend and then nearly tried to kill him in my home?!" I know that akuma victims arent responsible for the things they do while akumatized, but its not like she was any better before she was turned into Antibug.

Chloe glared at me for a moment, but then let out a breath and looked back at me. "Look...I..I just want to talk."

"There is nothing for us to talk about Chloe.."

"Would you just hear me out!" She yelled then took another breath. "Listen Dupain-Chen....I mean Marinette. I came...to apologize."

"You're apologizing?" Im a bit taken back but my guard is still up. "That's surprising coming from you."

"Yeah yeah whatever." She rolls her eyes. "Look Adrien is my best friend, he's the only person in the world I give a damn about who also cares about me and...I don't want to lose that." She looms down for a moment. "So I guess if slumming it up with you makes him happy then...Ill stay out of your way."

Before I can fully decide whether or not this was a smart idea, I close the door and undo the latch before opening it all the way. I take a moment to really look at Chloe, she's trying to make the apology seem like no big deal but I can tell that she's really hoping that I forgive her.

I know that Adrien means a lot to Chloe and they have been friends for pretty much their entire life. Im not sure if I fully trust her but maybe this experience will finally make Chloe change for the better.

"Alright I forgive you.." She looked up at me, her eyes slightly widen. "...but that doesn't mean that Adrien does too. Adrien's gotten a lot of bad rep because of your stunt and an apology alone may not fix it. You need to talk to him."

"I've tried but he won't answer his phone.." She sighed. "I thought maybe if I fixed things with you he would be more willing to talk."

What did I expect? Of course she's only being "nice" so she could get to Adrien. That's just typical Chloe for you.

I decided to ignore her last statement. "Look I will talk to him and let him hear you out but it's up to him whether or not he forgives you."

"Really?" She smiles and for a moment it really did seem genuine. "I...I mean sure whatever, just tell him Im available to talk whenever its convenient for him. Goodbye Dupain-Cheng."

I give a slight wave as she walks off heading for the stairs. I close the door and let out the biggest sigh. "That was weird."

"Was that Chloe?" I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard a voice. I quickly relaxed when I saw Adrien who was still Mister Bug.

"You really need to stop doing that." I said with a groan.

"You.." He started before reaching over to grab my hand. "....need to start being more aware of your surroundings."

"Bite me."

"Oh I will but that's for a later time." He said grinning. "Anyways was that Chloe?"

"Yes, she wanted to apologize to me hoping it would get you to talk to her."

"Did you except her apology?"

"Actually yes, but honestly I just want this whole thing to blow over as soon as possible so its not hovering over me while I'm pregnant." I lay my other hand over my stomach. "It's up to you if you want to talk to her."

Adrien looked at the ground, he looked slightly conflicted. "Chloe is one of my longest friends, she's always been like a sister to me. I want to forgive her but it might take some time."

"Then take as much time as you need." I kissed his cheek. I walked over by the couch and opened the jar of cookies on the table. Adrien detransformed and Tikki instinctively went inside the jar. "Oh by the way, I may have mentioned to my parents that I was seeing someone."

This made Adrien look my way. "What did they say?"

"Well I told them that we've been together for awhile now, they wanted to invite you over for dinner and get to know you."

"Does your parents know that its me?" He asked and can hear the nervousness in his voice.

"I figured it be easier to explain everything in person since they most likely seen all the news, not to mention it's not going to be easy hiding the fact that Im pregnant from then, plus Id like my mom to help me out on what to do to make sure the baby's okay."

"Hmm..okay if that's what you think is best." He put his arm around my shoulder and I leaned into his chest. We watched the movie with Plagg and Tikki , during the song Everybody wants to be a cat Adrien leaned over and whisper. "I'm guessing we need to find a better place for the cheese."

I looked over at Plagg who was currently passed out on the table from all the cheese. "Yeah it didn't take him long."

"I told you a good place would be-"

"Adrien Agreste we are NOT hiding it in my dresser!"

Yeah yeah I know this is a boring chapter but its part of the set up considering things are about to get real.

The next chapter will be the dinner with Marinette's parents

Then the chapter after THAT will be the dinner with Adrien's father.

Who knows when I'll post them?

Not me that's for sure!
