Her eyes flew open...

Bringing her back to the real world..

Abruptly she woke, gasping for breath and covered in sweat..

Her breathing ragged....

Her heart beat racing at a different pace altogether...

Her vision was blur..that's when she realised that she was crying..tears were flowing from her eyes as if a dam has burst open.

Closing her eyes she wiped her tears away. Shaking her head she started taking deep breaths to compose herself.

Once she got a grip over her emotions she slowly opened her eyes. Getting down from her bed she started walking towards the window of her room. Pushing it back she wide opened the window.

It was raining outside..and not only that
it was pouring down as rain had picked up.She looked outside.Everything looked so....

...beautiful..

....serene..

...calm..

...peaceful...

...unlike the emotions that were roaring inside her heart.

The gentle breeze touched her and she instantly closed her eyes just to feel it...

...allowing it take over her ragged conditions..

....to heal her..

....to soothe her..

.....to relieve her of this pain that she has been experiencing from past seven months.

It worked..

...but only to an extent.

But unfortunately the relief was just for few moments...as...

..once again she started to chock as she started remembered and relive all those old painful moments..

..once again she lost control over her emotions..

...once again she was shedding tears..

she couldn't believe that once again she was thinking about "him"

"Why Manik...Why...Why Did You Do All This.."she finally said the words out loud.

"We were so happy Manik..but you ruined it..you ruined everything..you ruined me...my innocence..my love for you.."

"I have to leave my family...my friends...everyone behind...just because of you.."

"you--Manik..only you are to be blamed for all this...only you.."

"You destroyed EVERYTHING Manik Malhotra.."

"EVERYTHING"

"Haven't you given me enough pain that will last for a lifetime.."

"Haven't you made me suffer enough.."

"Why am I holed up in my room..crying my eyes out..for you Manik.."

"WHY...WHY...WHY" Nandini screamed.

She put her head in her hand.

NOT AGAIN!!!!

WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG WITH HER!!

Closing her eyes once again she shook her head.

"No..this time I won't let you in..."

"Kar liya na..tumhe jo bhi karna tha..ab meri baari.."

"And I have decided that your existence has no relevance in my life Mr.Manik Malhotra because you mean nothing to me.."

"NOTHING"

"You are nothing more than a bad memory for me which I know for sure that I will soon forget about."

"You did all those things to break me na..but unfortunately I won't give you the happiness of succeeding in your attempt.."

"You wanted to break me na.."

"But i won't let you win.."

"Nandini Murthy won't break ever.."

"..no matter what..."

"This is my promise to you Mr.Manik Malhotra."

"Nandini Promise.."

Nandini was about to get into the washroom when she heard a knock at her door. "Who's it.."

"Nandu didi..Amma aapko bula rahi hai..woh aaj Mumbai se jo students aa rahe hai na CLASSICAL MUSIC WORKSHOP ke liye..toh unn sab ke GURUKUL me rahne ka intezaam karne me aapki help chachiye.."

"Aiyappa..mai toh bhul hi gai thi.."Nandini closed her eyes and slapped her forehead. "Rama anna aap chaliye..mai bas 10 minute me aai.."

"Thik hai..par jaldi aana didi..amma aapka neeche intezaar kar rahi hai.."saying this Rama left from there.

"Aaj toh Amms se zabardast daant parne wali hai..Aiyappa..please save me.."Nandini pleaded. "Finally aaj iss suspense par se parda uthega ki who are these people jo Mumbai se yaha WORKSHOP attend karne aa rahe."

"Amms have been so secretive about it. She didn't let anyone know which college in Mumbai had approached her to take this CLASSICAL MUSIC WORKSHOP"

"Kahi.."Nandini stopped abruptly. "No..No..No..That's Not Possible.."she shook her head. "S.P.A.C.E. isn't the only music college in Mumbai...there are too many other collages.."Nandini tried her best to convince herself."Nandini Murthy..you are overthinking.."

Taking a deep breath she sighed. Opening her eyes she said "Chal Nandini..get ready..waise bhi I am too late. I can't waste time thinking unnecessary things..I need to freshen up and then go down to help Amms..yes...okay"saying this she turned and walked into the washroom to freshen up trying her level best to get that thought out of her mind that was really disturbing her....

...at least for the day...
