YN's POV
We load into the bus outside UA prepped and ready for rescue training at the USJ or "the Unforeseen Simulation Joint". After the day I had with Jiro, Ashido, Kaminari, Taiyo, and Kirishima I decided to sit with them again. They seem like good people and it was nice to be around them the last time. We talked idly as the trip started along with Kirishima and Kaminari poking fun at Bakugo for not exactly being the calmest person in the class. "Are any of you nervous about our first real kind of hero test?" Jiro asked with a sigh

"Weren't the combat trials we did with All Might our first test?" Ashido responded

"Well plenty of people with quirks can fight it's just the saving people part that makes it a job" Taiyo said

Jiro and Ashido nodded in acknowledgement "I think we're all at least a little nervous for it but what I wanna know is, who do you think is gonna do the best?" Kirishima asked

"It was easier to think of who would do good in the combat trials since that was a little more obvious" Jiro hummed in thought

"Well based on the fact I'm about ninety percent sure Aizawa has something secret planned to slip us up... Probably Todoroki and Yayourozu. They seem like they'd be the best under pressure and would be able to deal with whatever he's got lined up." I responded

The rest nodded "Those two are pretty safe bets. What do you think Aizawa has planned then?" Kirishima asked

"I have no idea what goes through that mans head but it seems like him to make it something cruel" I sighed

They gave a small chuckle as Aizawa informed us we had arrived. We stepped out of the bus to see the large domed structure known as USJ. A person in what looks like a space suit stood in front of the steps watching us arrive. As I wondered who this person was I was able to overhear Uraraka call them "The Black Hole Hero: Thirteen". I don't think I've heard of them till now. Though to be fair my hero knowledge isn't as vast as everyone else in the class. Aizawa went on to introduce us to Thirteen and walk us into the USJ. It really was prepared for any natural disasters there was a section for a landslide, one for a flood, another for a fire, and more than that. One thing I did notice was that All Might wasn't with us which was weird. I could've sworn he was one of the teachers that were gonna watch over the rescue missions "Mr.Aizawa, could I say a few things before we start?" Thirteen asked

"Go for it" Aizawa gestured towards the class

"Before we begin I would like to say a few words so please listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware I have a powerful quirk. It's called black hole, I can use it to absorb anything and turn it into dust." Thirteen began

"Yeah, you've managed to save hundreds of people with it" Midoriya added excitedly

"That's true, but my quirk could also very easily be used to kill. Some of you also have powers that could be dangerous in the right hands. In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and regulated so we often overlook how dangerous they could actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move your powers could be deadly even if you're trying to do something virtuous like rescue someone. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness test you have a solid grasp on your quirks potential and thanks to All Might's combat training you likely experienced how dangerous your quirks can be when used against other people. Carry those lessons over to this class. Today you are going to learn how to use those quirks to save people's lives, you won't be using your abilities to attack enemies or each other only to help. After all, that is what being a hero is all about. Ensuring the safety of others. That's all I have to say thank you for listening." Thirteen finished as we cheered but still left thinking on her words

As the cheers of the class died down the lights around us began to flicker. I knew Aizawa was gonna pull something special on us but usually, he at least tells us about it before it starts. The class looked around confused as a dark portal began to open and too many people to count stepped out. "Is this part of the training?" Kirishima asked

"They don't exactly look like your usual person in need of rescuing. Didn't Thirteen just say we weren't fighting anyone?" I responded

We began to step forward to get close as Aizawa yelled for us to stop. I thought this one of Aizawa's tests but gauging the look on his face he was genuinely worried. This wasn't planned and us students may be in the wrong place at the wrong time "Back away. Those are real villains" Aizawa warned us

I felt a deep sinking feeling in my chest as I watched the hoard of villains approach the stairs we were atop. Everything went quiet for me as I stepped away from the stairs with my hands shaking, heart racing and memories returning. "How did they get into the USJ?" Yayourozu asked

"One of them must have a quirk that's masking their presence here or messing with the alarms in some way." Thirteen commented

"These people must have had a plan in mind to come here so prepared" Todoroki added

I began trying to think of a specific reason why so many villains would've come together for a single goal beyond just heroes vs villains. Thinking back to my family one thing sticks out as a possible motive. If all villains hated All Might as much as dad did they could be prepared to end him here. "...All Might" I said as everyone was talking about what could've brought them here

"I wish he was here too, YN" Kaminari said

"No, no, I mean that's why they're here. They need to beat the symbol of peace. For people that need protecting, All Might is this beacon of hope that makes people feel safe no matter what but to a villain, he's a constant reminder of what's stopping you and being praised for doing so. They want to kill the symbol of peace but he isn't here to be killed" I explained

"Which makes me wonder what they'll do to get him here" Todoroki said glaring down at the group

As we talked Aizawa instructed Thirteen to contact the school by whatever means she could think of since USJ communications are likely being blocked. Midoriya tried to stop him from rushing headlong into the group by bringing up Aizawa was better in a one-on-one fight but Aizawa simply responded "You can't be a pro if you only have one trick" before dashing towards the villains.

"Come on everyone! This way!" Thirteen called

"Wait we're leaving Aizawa alone?" Midoriya asked

"We're getting other pro heroes. He'll keep the villains occupied in the meantime" Thirteen explained

I don't like the idea of leaving Aizawa behind but it doesn't seem like we have much of a choice. We ran back towards the USJ doors as that same dark portal from earlier emerged in front of us "There's no escape" A voice from the portal said

We stood tentatively ready for a fight as two yellow eyes formed at the top of the portal "It's a pleasure to meet you, we are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite but we thought we'd invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this a perfect place for All Might, the symbol of peace to draw his final breath? I believe he was supposed to be here though I see no sign of him. Such a shame. No matter, I still have a role to play." As he finished his monologue Kirishima and Bakugou leapt into action much to the disapproval of Thirteen.

As they attacked the darkness of the portal wrapped around all of us. Not knowing which direction would free us most of us couldn't escape. I was pulled through a portal and impacted against what felt like a stone floor. As the darkness dispersed I found myself in a barren cityscape as it poured down rain. I think this was the "Squall Area" we saw from the entranceway. I ran to the edge of the building I was left on and looked for anyone else that could've come with me. Scanning the area I managed to spot Tokoyami running into a building across the street from me. I quietly made my way down the floors of the building and ran across to the building he resided in. I gave a quiet knock to warn him before opening the door and stepping in. Him and Dark Shadow were ready to attack but sighed with relief as they saw a familiar face. "Have you seen anyone else?" He asked as I walked further into the building

"No, I just got here. It might just be the two of us" I sighed

Tokoyami sat against the wall beside the door "Well if it is just us we should come up with some sort of goal" He said

I nodded "I don't know how we could find out if anyone else is here so I guess our best bet is to just get out of here as fast as we can. Back to Aizawa and Thirteen."

"There's probably plenty of villains looking for us so getting out might involve more fighting then we should get into" Tokoyami said

"I don't know if we have any better options. Maybe just getting out as quiet as possible to avoid the fights" I rubbed my forehead trying to think of anything better we could do

Dark Shadow emerged from Tokoyami's back and glanced at the broken window we were nearby and grew a little bigger into a fighting pose. "He heard something" Tokoyami whispered as he crouched down against the wall

I followed his lead crouching against the wall and placing my hand against the ground creating a line of ink in front of the door to be ready for whoever came through. The door was quietly opened then quickly pushed open as two figures burst in. I pressed my hand against the ground to raise a wall of ink just as I noticed the figures were not villains but were Taiyo and Koda. Taiyo had her hands extended towards us as they were faintly glowing with sun energy and Koda was hiding behind her. We all let out a sigh of relief as we realized it was safe. "I've never been more glad to see you, YN" Taiyo said as Koda closed the door and locked it

"You and me both" I sighed

We all sat on the floor in a circle attempting to form a plan "Before we found you two, Koda and I were planning on waiting it out till All Might and the other heroes got here" Taiyo said

"We were thinking of just getting out of here as quickly as possible. So we could get to everyone else" I said as Tokoyami and I glanced at each other

Tokoyami nodded "If they're this prepared on trying to kill him there is a very real chance that they could actually pull off killing All Might given the chance. I don't think he'll be able to get us out of trouble this time." He explained

"But if they might have the power to take out All Might what chance do we stand?" Taiyo asked

"It's hard to believe that every one of these villains have the power to kill All Might but we should be careful. What they have is numbers but if we can pick them off we might be able to stand enough of a chance to get out of here" I said

Dark Shadow once again rose from Tokoyami's back defensively "Another friend?" Tokoyami whispered

As he spoke two large arms punched through the wall just behind Koda and a large villain with three pairs of arms wrapped two arms around Koda crushing him. Two villains stood behind him grinning at us, ready to fight "Not a friend" Taiyo said as she produced a bright flash of light towards the villains to blind them for a moment.

The rest of us sprang into action along with Taiyo. My ink on the ground slithered up the large villain's body between him and Koda pushing them apart to free Koda though it took more than normal thanks to the rain outside hitting against my ink and washing parts of it away. Koda ran away from the villains and into the building once he was free and the villains rubbed Taiyo's light from their eyes.

I stepped back into the building so my ink wouldn't wash away as easily and was followed by the large multi-armed villain cracking his knuckles as he walked towards me. I took a deep breath readying myself for the upcoming fight. I poured some ink into my hand and threw it at him aiming for eyes though he managed to get one of his hands in the way before it made its mark. He charged at me and as I began to back away he grabbed me by the leg with his lowest pair of arms lifting me off the ground and turning me upside down. I had just enough time to notice the ink I threw before still stained on his hand before he threw me to the ground. I groaned in pain but rolled out of the way as he attempted to kick my prone body. He closed the distance trying to hit me again forcing me to dodge his attacks as I began to control the ink on his hand to travel up his arm. I moved it up his neck to the side of his face out of his sight as he punched me in the chest sending me onto the ground coughing. He picked me up again pinning my arms to my sides and hitting me in the chest with another set of arms as he laughed. Once he had his fun he tossed me across the room making me side along the floor. I coughed in pain getting up onto one knee with one of my hands on the ground. I saw him charging across the room at me again as a plan began to form in my head. As he ran at me I pulled the ink from the side of his head to cover his eyes and at the same time made a path of ink on the floor from him to me. He began to lose control of himself but was still moving forward as I jumped out of his way. He went headfirst into the wall that was behind me and slumped to the ground. I didn't know if he'd be like that for long so I took the chance to bring his arms behind his back and connect all the hands in a hardened mass of my ink.

I stood up holding my side and peered outside to Taiyo and Tokoyami. There was a villain on the floor by them as the two of them were about to finish the second one. "Come on Koda. Let's get out of here" I called to Koda who was hiding behind a stairwell at the back of the building. 

He nodded at me as he ran out of his hiding spot and we exited the building. Taiyo and Tokoyami met us at the entrance as they had taken care of the villains attacking them. "Ready to get out of here?" Taiyo said

The three of us nodded "As long as we don't run into more of them" I said

We began to maneuver through the alleyways in this cluster of buildings trying to be as quiet as possible. Hearing the sounds of heavy footfalls against the pavement and the rainfall hitting hard against everyone and everything. Occasionally we heard a loud bang or explosion from outside but we had no way of knowing if it was good or bad. We came to the end of our alleyways and would have to cross the street as quickly and quietly as we could to continue with our escape. "Nobodies been by in a while" Taiyo said quietly

"I guess now is as good a chance as any" I sighed softly

Everyone nodded as we started running quietly across the street. First was Taiyo, then Kouta, then Tokoyami, then myself. We ran to the adjacent alleyway and all sighed in relief once we had made it. "Alright. Let's keep going" Taiyo said quietly

"I thought I heard something back here" We heard a deep voice from behind us

We turned to see a tall cloaked man standing in the alley entrance with a smile. I placed my hand against the wall beside me and started letting ink run down it as he walked towards us. As he got close I used the ink to create a wall from one side of the alley to the other "Run!" I turned to the others 

We began to run as I heard the sound of something breaking through my thin ink wall and felt a hand grab me by the collar and pull me back through it. "YN!" I heard Tokoyami call back to me

I was pulled through my ink wall and out of the alley by the cloaked man as he smiled down at me though I still couldn't see his face "Keep going!" I yelled past him to the others

The cloaked man glanced at a few villains nearby "Get after them" He ordered, His voice was deep but didn't seem much older than me or the rest of the class.

I stood up as the rain pelted down at us. I let ink coat my hands but it just as quickly was being washed away by the rain. As the cloaked man stepped towards me he pulled a hand back to punch me. I prepared to get out of the way as I noticed the hand beginning to turn to metal exactly like I remember Hiromu's quirk looking. That moment of hesitation was enough for the punch to land in my stomach. I fell to my knees clutching my stomach and coughed up a small amount of my inky blood. "That's what you get for turning your back on the family" He said rubbing his hand

I coughed again and looked up at him "Hiromu?" I asked looking up at him

His head jutted to the side before looking at me again "W-What is it?" He asked now seeming far more scared

I looked at him confused before shaking my head "I'm sorry, I'm sorry for leaving. I didn't have a choice. I-I-All I could do was save myself. I never heard from you or Maki or Ishibara. I was too young to help any of you. Ishibara wasn't gonna save himself anyway" I apologized looking down ashamed 

I glanced up at him as his head quickly tilted to the side and back again "It's alright YN. We don't blame you for anything. None of this is your fault" He said with an odd sincere kindness as he crouched down to be head height with me

I started to crawl away as I was becoming afraid of who was in front of me. As I started to move his head jutted to the side once again and he grabbed me by the leg "We're not done talking" He said sternly

"I'm sorry Hiromu, I'm sorry I couldn't do anything" I said beginning to panic trying to think of a way out of this situation

He hummed "Close. But not exactly" He said as he pulled me a little closer to him

He pulled back his hood finally revealing his face to me. It didn't look like Hiromu. Amongst a shaved head and dark green eyes were the unmistakable features of Ishibara as he grinned at me with simmering anger. "It's only me and you now, little brother"
