Test results confusing. Snoke gives Hux permision to raise me as his own.
As Kylo exited the house he noticed the panels of the windows start to shake as did the ground. He paused momentarily to see the cause of quake and noticed the young girl frowning. "If you was talking about about me don't Me desewbe to know what it was about?"
The young girl demanded angrily and I chuckled slightly. This young child had guts. Not many people had the courage to yell at Phasma. Could the child have been the cause of this slight tremor? The tremor stopped as quickly as it has begun and I shrugged and continued on my way. That was highly unlikely especially if it was true that she was Hux's child.
Hux POV
Upon waking up and collecting their stuff my mother was anxious to return home. "You can't return home yet my dear. If I recall, we promised to bring our daughter a present." I reminded Crystal who sighed in irritation.
"Hux we were up all night. I'm exhausted all I want to do is relax and get some well deserved rest. She doesn't need a present." Crystal replied.
"If your so tired we could recheck into the hotel for a while." Hux replied.
"I don't think so." Crystal replied warily.
"Aww come on, don't be that way. You need your rest after last night." I replied with a chuckle. "I suppose I could use some rest as well."
"The problem my dear General, is that if you join me in the hotel room I won't get any rest."
At this comment I chuckled once more. "I suppose that is true. How about this, you return to the room and rest and I'll go shopping for a present for our daughter. When I return we can go home. Promise me that you will wait for me here." Hux asked.
"Of course my love. I wouldn't dream of running away from you." Crystal replied crossing her fingers behind her back.
As I headed for the market place I placed a stormtrooper outside of the hotel room to make sure Crystal didn't try to escape. I knew her far to well to trust her to keep her word to wait for me. I had missed so much of my daughter's life and I had no intention of missing any more.
Crystal POV
No sooner had Hux left, I opened the room door. Upon seeing the stormtrooper, I swore under my breath. How was I going to get past him? I had to go see Kylo. Tell him things weren't what they seemed. I could tell that he had been extremely angry when he had read my mind. Perhaps he had misunderstood that I had no clue who Catharina's father really was.
Tapping on the stormtrooper's shoulder I hit him over the head with a lamp when he turned in her direction. Knowing that this wouldn't hold off the stormtrooper for very long I took off running down the road. I soon came to what I had been searching for Kylo's personal ship. Knocking on the hull I prayed that he was aboard. "Kylo please let me in."
Upon seeing the stormtrooper approaching I banged harder on the ship's entrance. "Please Kylo if you can hear me I beg of you let me in." Still no reply. "Please." I begged tearfully just as the stormtrooper had almost reached home I found myself being pulled into the ship and the door closing behind it.
"Why did you come here?" Kylo asked grumpily as I collapse onto the ship's floor gasping for breath.
"I... Honestly? I don't know." I replied with a sigh. "I don't blame you for being hurt and angry. I want you to know that I am so sorry. I never meant to betray your trust or hurt you."
"It's a little too late for that. You chose to have a relationship with my rival. You humiliated me. Tell me Crystal, What is it that you want from me? What more could you possibly take from me?" Kylo replied not even looking in my direction.
Meanwhile, back at the market General Hux was having a hard time finding anything appropriate to purchase for me as a gift. Sure there was jewelry, dresses, a few scraggly toys and some exotic animals but he had no clues what he should purchase for me.
Tina POV
Back at the house I looked at the clock and frowned. Mommy and that man still hadn't returned and it was almost lunchtime. Where was she? She had promised to return this morning.
Peeking into the kitchen I noticed
Phasma was nowhere to be found and the lady my mother had taken into our home was grumbling about having to cook my lunch.
I took this time to sneak out of the house and search for my mommy.
Unfortunately, I had taken to long to try and focus on were my mother was located that the lady noticed that I was no longer in the house. I quickly hid behind a nearby tree as she called to me "Tina where are you?"
The young lady yelled. She looked around and I heard her muttering to herself as she returned to the house. "I don't have time for this garbage. If she wants to play hide and seek then she can just skip her lunch I don't care."
As soon as she turned her back I rushed into town. Unfortunately, I encountered trouble right away. "Awww what's a cute little thing like you doing out here all alone?" A ugly alien creature asked however, I didn't reply making him mad. "I asked you a question girl!"
"Let go! Leave me alone!" I replied hitting the alien to no prevail.
"Feisty little thing aren't you?" The alien replied with a slight chuckle. "I'll soon fix that. You'll soon learn who your master is." The alien replied snapping a collar around my neck.
"You're going to wish you hadn't done that." I replied with a smile as I spotted Captain Phasma and her platoon in the distance.
"Oh yeah? And why's that? You think your mommy or daddy is going to come to your rescue? Well, I hate to burst your bubble kid, but your wrong. No one cares about a lost little kid like you. No one's is going to miss you when your gone." The alien replied with a laugh.
"Help! Someone please help me!!" I yelled and Phasma turned her head in our direction. I smiled as she headed our way pointing her gun in our direction along with a large group of stormtroopers following quickly behind her.
The alien was furious that I had attracted unwanted attention hit me over the head. Just as he was about to hit me again Phasma and the other Stormtroopers arrived. He managed to hit me one last time before he found himself in handcuffs. I let out a groan of pain as I slumped to the ground. I moaned as I felt myself being picked up off the ground. "Me Sowwy. Please don't huwt me." I whimpered struggling to keep awake.
"Shhh my little cadet. Everything is going to be alright. I'm not here to hurt you." Phasma replied. I groaned and yawned wanting desperately to fall asleep. "I know your tired little one but you need to stay awake ok?"
"Hold on for just a while longer. I'm taking you to a place where they can help you get better." Phasma sighed she knew that neither my mother, General Hux or Kylo would be happy upon hearing of my injury. After all, they had left her in charge of my care.
Hux POV
Meanwhile, back at the marketplace I was just about to give up when I spotted several adorable stuffed animals that were being sold as a set. The set included a Nexu cub, a lothcat, a tooka, , a purrgil, a Concorde, a varactyl, a porg, vulptex, a rancor a Wookiee, a Ewok, salacious b crumb, a Hutt and a huttlet (baby hut) and a few unfriendly looking spider like creatures. After purchasing them I stopped and bought three almost identical necklaces for us to wear each with just slight differences.
The one I picked out for Catrina was able to capture all the colors and create a rainbow 🌈. That one also came with one that could be hung above the bed to create a star filled sky 🌌 on the ceiling that played beautiful music. Just as I was about to leave when I spotted something of great value. The parts needed to make a lightsaber. After giving it some thought and knowing how angry it would make Kylo I decided to purchase the parts.
Then I retuned to the hotel to find a very worried looking Stormtrooper. "Crystal my love I'm back bearing lots of gifts." I entered the room and frowned. Where was she?
"Sir, that's what I'm trying to tell you. She knocked me out and escaped. We've searched everywhere for her, even her house. She's nowhere to be found." The stormtrooper said with a gulp.
I grabbed the bags and slammed the hotel room door. How dare Crystal betray my trust like this! She was going to pay dearly when I found her. As I headed for her house I spotted Phasma carrying a small child towards the nearby hospital. My search for Crystal would just have to wait. Upon getting closer I discovered the child was my daughter. "What happened? You were supposed to be watching her!" I growled angrily as I took Catherina from Phasma's arms.
"She snuck out and was almost kidnapped by an alien who I've placed under arrest. He intended to sell her as a Slave on the black market. When she called out for my help he hit her over the head multiple times." Phasma replied.
"I am very disappointed in you Phasma. I thought you could handle this assignment obviously I was wrong. How could you let this happen?" I replied angrily.
"You were supposed to return this morning. I had my morning patrol to do so I left her in the care of the young lady staying in her mother's home. I thought that she was the child's babysitter/ caregiver while her mother was away on trips." Phasma replied.
"I need to return to my patrol. Please keep me informed on how the little cadet is doing. Though I haven't known her for very long I have come to care for her deeply." Phasma said as she turned to leave.
I nodded and dismissed Phasma with a slight wave of my hand. "You may go. I shall keep you informed of her progress or lack there of."
Tina whimpered slightly and I rushed over to her side. "Shhh. It's alright. Everything is going to be alright Daddy's here." I whispered stroking her hair gently. Upon feeling something sticky upon my fingers I pulled my hand away shocked to find it covered in blood. "Where is that blasted medical droid? We need it now!" I yelled and almost immediately the medical droid awoke.
"How may I be of assistance?" The droid asked coming over to where we were located. "Oh dear. This is not good. This is not good at all." The droid muttered as it examined Tina's body. The droid sighed as it replied "examination complete. It is clear that the patient has an injury to the back of her skull. Since she is only four this can be deadly. I shall have to operate immediately if I am to save her life." The medical droid replied.
"I suggest that you do everything in your power to ensure that she survives. If the child does not survive I will see to it personally that you are sent to the scrap heap." I replied with a frown.
"Oh dear oh dear." The medical droid muttered as it assessed my wounds and then decided that the bacta tank would be my best chance for survival.
Crystal POV
Meanwhile back at Kylo's ship Kylo glared at my mother angrily beneath his mask. "If you loved me so much then why would you have a relationship with someone you know to be my rival?" Kylo replied.
"It was a mistake. You swore that you loved me and then right after I give myself to you, you turned around and said that you had to end our relationship. That I was distracting you from your mission. That you could not allow that to happen and that our whole relationship had been a mistake."
"You left me hurt and confused and I swore that I'd never love anyone again. You broke my heart when you left, but that's not all you did. When you chose to turn your back on me, Hux took advantage of my weakened state. He forced me into a relationship that I begrudgingly accepted. You don't know how much I want to hate you for the things that he did to me, but I can't."
"Then Hux also left me as well and I just wanted to forget about both of you. Unfortunately, I was left with a constant reminder, a daughter. The truth is, that I don't know which of you are her father."
Hux POV
Meanwhile, back at the hospital the Medical droid was attending to my wounds. I need a paternity test done on your patient." I stated as the droid approached.
"Who are the potential father's?"
"Kylo Ren and myself. You should be able to find a sample of our blood in the data banks."
"One moment please. Match found father Hux, A." I smile. The computer beeped again and then stated "match found father Ren Kylo."
"That isn't possible. Those results can't be right." I replied completely confused. Computer run paternity test again." I demanded.
"Calculating match found Father "Ren Kylo." At this Hux frowned until the computer repeated match found: Hux. A."
"Droid!!! What is wrong with this computer?" Hux yelled at the poor droid. "The results are impossible. She can't have two biological fathers! I want answers and I want them now!"
"Oh dear oh dear." The droid muttered "computer run self diagnostic test."
"Scanning. Scanning. Running at 💯% capacity." The computer replied.
"That is not possible." I replied. "Run the test twice more this time only use One sample at a time to compare against that of the patient."
"Testing DNA A. Hux :Calculating Match semi found. Father Hux." Hux frowned completely confused what did it mean match semi found? Testing DNA Kylo Ren "Calculating match semi found. Father Kylo Ren." The computer replied once more.
Still confused I decided to contact the only person he knew who might have an answer to this question. Supreme Leader Snoke. "Supreme Leader."
"What seems to be troubling you General?"
"We found the source of the disturbance in the force. It is a young girl."
"Have you dealt with the existence of this child?"
"No Supreme Leader."
"Why not?" Snoke demanded with a snarl.
"The child is the daughter of the woman that Kylo and I both had relationships with a few years ago. The DNA test results state that both Kylo and I am her father. How could that be possible?"
"Many things are possible with the Force. It has unimaginable and unlimited power. Kylo told me that he had a physical relationship with a woman. What drew you to this woman?"
"I wanted her because I knew Kylo cared about her. My advances weren't exactly wanted until she realized that Kylo was never coming back. Then we shared a passionate night of love making." Hux replied and Snoke chuckled he found the situation to be quite amusing.
"Hummm. It is possible that via the force presence it allowed both yours and Kylo's baby making seed to make its way to your beloved's egg. If this is the case then both seeds helped in the creation of this child. Or the computer is wrong. In which case either one of you could be the child's father. I will be anxious to see how the child progresses in her connection to the force."
"Supreme Leader."
"Yes General Hux?" Snoke replied.
"If the child is indeed Kylo's are you concerned that the child will pull Kylo towards the light once more?" Hux asked.
Snoke frowned and leaned back in his chair for a moment. Palpatine had lied to Vader about him having children. Because of his deep love for Padme he fell pray to his son who turned his heart back to the light.
Snoke knew that he could not allow this to happen to Kylo. They were too close to obtaining their goal of locating Skywalker and destroying the last of the Jedi line. Kylo must not become distracted by having to raise a child who could pull Him closer to the light. The child will have to die."
"Supreme Leader perhaps there is another way that doesn't require the child to die."
"What is your suggestion General Hux?"
"The child's mother already introduced me to the little girl as her father. I am fairly sure that if Kylo were to learn that I am indeed the child's father, then He would be filled with hatred towards the child's mother and he will despise the child because she's my daughter.
Perhaps, in his anger, he might kill her just like his grandfather killed his grandmother's murderers, so many years ago. Let me raise the little one as my own. I will begin training her immediately to serve the first order with pride." Hux replied.
"Very well. You may raise the child as your own. However, should it be discovered the Kylo is the child's father the child may become a. great danger to us. Kylo must never learn the truth if he does I will place the blame entirely on you." Snoke replied.
"Understood. I promise I won't let you down Supreme Leader."
"You had better not." Snoke warned and then the screen went blank. I went back to the hospital to check on Catherina to see if there was any progress on her recovery.
As I left I stopped a nearby stormtrooper "have you located the child's mother yet?"
"I'm sorry sir but no we have not been able to locate her." The stormtrooper replied nervously. I growled slightly where was Crystal?
"Ah General Hux here to check on the progress of the child who was brought to this facility earlier this morning?" The droid asked as I entered the facility.
"Yes."
"Unfortunately, Sir we cannot provide you with any information concerning her health."
"Excuse me?" I demanded angrily.
"It's policy sir. Medical information can only be given to a parental guardian. The paternity test results continue to be a mix between yourself and Kylo Ren. As such I can not provide you with information you seek until the child's mother is present." The medical droid replied.
"I am the child's father and I demand to know how my little girl is doing!." Hux replied in irritation.
"Oh dear oh dear. The only thing that I can tell you is that the little girl will recover in time. Due to the injury however and due to the face that she is so young, there is a concern that she might develop multiple personalities. She also may not be able to mentally behave beyond that of between the ages of 3-16." The droid stated. Before I could react Crystal and Kylo rushed into the hospital.
"What happened? Where's my baby?" Crystal demanded.
"Oh now your concerned about her. Where were you when she ran away from that no good babysitter you hired? Where were you when she was attacked by an alien who wanted to sell her as a Slave on the black market? Where were you when he brutally beat her almost to death?" I demanded angrily.
"I needed sometime to think..." Crystal replied. She was going to say something else but I held up my hand.
"You know what Crystal? I don't care. I don't want to hear your excuses. I want you gone. I never want to see you again."
"You have no right to tell Me to leave she's my daughter not yours." Crystal replied angrily.
"Really? Wasn't it only yesterday that you told me that she was my daughter? Now your saying that she's not? Why the change of song?"
"You want me to admit it? Fine I'll admit it. I lied. I don't actually know who her father is. All I know is that it's either Kylo or you."
"Luckily for you I didn't trust your story so I had a paternity test done to confirm that she's my daughter. The results came back a little while ago. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but she is my child. As her father, I am well within my rights to ask you to leave."
"Your not her legal guardian, I am. If anyone should be forcing someone to leave it should be me kicking you out." Crystal replied angrily. "
"You may be her legal guardian right now but I intend to take full custody of her once she is released from the hospital. Clearly you are not capable of handling the responsibility of raising a child. Besides I've missed far too much of her childhood due to your selfishness. I have no intention of missing out on anymore of her life." I replied with a smirk.
"You have no right to do that! You stay away from us! Stay away from my daughter! I won't let you take her away from me. I'd die first. I will kill you if I have too to ensure her safety." Crystal replied blocking my path to Tina.
At this I just chuckled in amusement and motioned for the Stormtroopers to remove Crystal from the premises. Kylo blocked their way and glared angrily at me. "What's the matter Kylo? Angry that I have what you wanted? I had a child with the woman that you love. One who will carry on my legacy. Where as you will die alone unwanted and unloved." I replied smugly.
"Hux please don't do this. I'll do whatever you want but please don't take my daughter away from me." Crystal pleaded falling to the ground and kneeling down at my feet.
I cocked an eyebrow at Crystal. "Anything that I want?"
"Yes anything." Crystal replied tearfully and I smiled in satisfaction.
"Alright. All you have to do is answer a few simple questions. The answers you provide will determine the outcome of my decision." I replied.
"What is it that you want to know?" Crystal asked with a sigh.
"Who did you want Tina's father to be? Why was your reaction one of sadness when I told you that I am Tina's father?"
"I... The answers to those questions are complicated." Crystal replied with a sigh.
At this, I chuckled slightly. "The questions should not be that hard to answer. In fact, I bet I could answer them for you." I replied my eyes sparkling in both irritation and amusement.
"Armitage I...." Before Crystal could finish her sentence she was grabbed by the throat.
"Don't you ever call me by my first name again! You will address me with the proper respect. Do you understand me?!" I growled Crystal nodded her head her eyes starting to fill with tears.
"I'm sorry." She whispered and I dropped her on the floor gasping for breath.
"You are forgiven my love. Come, let us check on our daughter. You may leave now Kylo. Your presence is no longer required." I said with a smirk.
Kylo was about to reply when they heard a small quiet voice come from the corner of the room. "Wheya am I?"
"You are at the local medical facility child." The medical droid replied. Can you remember anything that happened today?" The medical droid asked and I shook my head no.
"How old am Me? Who am me?"
"How old do you think you are?"
"Ummm. Diss many. I replied holding up two fingers. Crystal's eyes went wide in surprise. "Who are they?" Tina asked pointing towards the group.
"What's wrong with her? Why doesn't she recognize us?" Crystal asked worriedly.
"She has a slight skull fracture to the back of the skull which usually results in death for children of her age. It's a miracle that she survived the attack. Due to the fracture she has a severe case of amnesia."
"Will she get her memory back?" Crystal asked and the droid sighed.
"It is hard to tell how extensive the damage is to her mental development. Her memory may return in time but there is a slight possibility that the damage that has been done could be permanent." The droid replied.
"What exactly does that mean?"
"As I told the General upon his arrival due to the traumatic experience of this situation she might develop multiple personalities disorder that ranges from an infant to adult as she grows older. There will most likely be a young child, a normal teen/ adult, a protector and a perhaps a rebellious stage to her personality."
"The situations she finds herself in will determine which personality is dominate at the time. Her memory may or may not return and if it does she will probably still be very confused for a while. You must take things slow with her. Right now she seems to be in the mental status of a toddler around the age of two." The medical droid replied.
