Life and death situations. Begging for ones life.

Hux POV

"Where is my daughter!" Hux demanded as he burst into the infirmary. "How is she?"

"Your daughter is currently resting. As for how she is, that I'm afraid is a bit complicated. She sustained several injuries and a lot of blood loss and is in need of a transfusion."

"I'll be more then happy to provide any blood that she might need." Hux replied without hesitation.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible. Your blood type is not a match." The medical droid replied.

It took a moment for Hux to realize what the droid was saying. "That's not possible. I'm her biological father. Your data banks must be having a glitch."

"I can assure you, that our systems are working properly. Your daughter is in need of an immediate transfusion without which, she has little to no chance of survival. Unfortunately, with you not being a match and her mother's whereabouts unknown, it is unlikely we will find a donor in time." The droid replied.

I began pacing back and forth. How could I not be a match? "Is there anyone in your data banks who can provide the transfusion?" I asked not wanting to know the answer.

"One moment. Match found. Kylo Ren." The computer stated and I swore beneath my breath. I didn't want to ask for his help. I certainly didn't want to admit that Tina wasn't my daughter. Yet, I had to do what was best for her.

"Computer locate and contact Kylo Ren." I grumbled.

A few seconds later Kylo appeared on the view screen. "General Hux, to what do I owe the pleasure of this call?"

"I need your help." I grumbled.

"I'm sorry what was that? I didn't hear you." Kylo replied clearly amused by the fact
that I was having to ask for his assistance.

"I need your help." I grumbled a little louder.

"Why should I help you?" Kylo replied.

"Please Kylo, I'm begging you. I wouldn't be asking for your help, but this is a life or death situation." I replied.

Instantly Kylo's face changed from that of amusement to that of concern. "Is that so. Let me think about it."

"Please Kylo there is no time to waste. I'll do anything you want, but please come to the infirmary as soon as possible." I begged.

"I'll be there momentarily. Upon my arrival I expect a complete explanation. Then and only then will I decide if I will help you." Kylo replied and I groaned.

Kylo POV

A miracle just occurred. Hux just called me begging for my help. This has never happened and I am sure it will never happen again. He promised to do anything I ask if I'd only come to the infirmary immediately. I am not about to allow an opportunity like this to pass by.

This is the kind of thing that happens only once in a lifetime and I was going to savor it for as long as I could. It didn't take me long to arrive at the infirmary where I was greeted immediately by Hux.

"Thank you for coming down so quickly. I know assisting me has never been one of your priorities." Hux stated.

"You said this was a life or death situation so tell me, what is so important that you interrupt my meditation? This better not be some kind of sick joke." I warned.

"Tina is dying."'

"I know. I could sense it. Remind me again, why this is my concern? She is after all, your daughter." I replied.

"Kylo the droids say that I can not provide the blood needed for the transfusion. I am not a match." Hux pauses before replying "You however, are."

"That is not possible, Your her father. The paternity test confirmed it." I replied with a hint of irritation.

"I don't know how it's possible. All I know is that she is dying and your the only one who can save her." Hux replied. "Please Kylo, I'm begging you help her." He replied falling to his knees before me. "I'll do anything you want. I'll give you anything you want, but please don't let her die."

He begged as tears streamed down his face. He began to sob and I could tell that he was heartbroken. This no longer was fun. He may be a pain in my butt but I couldn't stand to see him suffer like this. He truly did love Tina.

"I'll do it." I replied.

"Thank you Kylo. You don't know what this means to me. What she mean to me." Hux replied.

"We shall discuss my terms after the procedure is over." I replied and Hux nodded in agreement.

"This way please." The medical droid replied leading me to the bed next to Tina. I sighed. I could no longer deny that she was my daughter. I could no longer deny that I cared about her. What to do though that was the question.

Should I demand that she be told the truth and that Hux relinquish his parental rights of her over to me? Should I raise her as my own? Or should I continue to allow her to live with Hux? He was after all, the only father Tina had ever known. To pull her away from him just because I could would be cruel.

I looked over at Tina in concern as she twisted and turned and moaned in her sleep. "Daddy please help me. Daddy please don't let them huwt me anymowa."

I let out a low growl and the medical droid came to my side. "How much longer will this take? I need to stretch my legs."

"The procedure can take several hours however, if you'd like to take a break you are more then welcome too." The droid replied unhooking the transfusion tube. "However, please do not go far."

"Is the procedure done already?" Hux asked in surprise.

"No I just need a break. Excuse me, droid, how did Tina wind up here at the infirmary?"

"A young man no more then 16 yrs old and a boy around her age brought her in." The droid replied.

"Hux how did you learn that Tina was here?"

"A young boy informed Phasma that he and a supervisor who wished to remain anonymous, had found her and brought her to the infirmary and that she was badly injured." Hux replied.

"Phasma, do you know where this young man is currently located?"

"He's right outside. He seems extremely worried about her."

"Don't tell me he's the same boy that we talked to earlier? The one who wants to date her someday?" Hux replied with a slight groan.

"I'm afraid so." Phasma replied apologetically.

I let out a low growl. I may not be Tina's legal guardian, but there was no way I was ever
going to allow her to date. "You there! Boy!"

"Yes Lord Ren?" The boy replied nervously.

"You know who did this to Tina don't you?" I demanded.

"Yes Lord Ren." The boy replied without hesitation.

"Do you know where they are at now?"

"Yes Lord Ren. We locked them in the storage facility where they had held and hurt Tina."

"Did you say You locked them in the room where they had harmed her?" I asked in surprise.

"Yes sir." The young man replied.

"Now, why would you do that?" I asked curiously.

"Because they deserve to be punished for what they did to Tina. A simple slap on the wrist and being sent to reconditioning is far to merciful a punishment. They were warned not to hurt her. The supervisor who had helped them kidnap her gave us all a simple list of rules to follow and they couldn't follow a single one."

"A supervisor helped kidnap her?" I growled angrily.

"Yes sir, but they were unaware of what was really going on. When they discovered that my classmates had lied to them they were furious and confronted them. My classmates blackmailed them into helping them kidnap and hurt Tina by saying that they would ensure that this supervisor would take the blame for the entire kidnapping situation. That they would all claim that the supervisor had forced them to kidnap and hurt her because they were jealous of Tina."

"Who your classmates?" I asked slightly confused.

"No. The supervisor. My classmates claimed
to have proof that the supervisor hated Tina and wanted to hurt her, that they had motive, opportunity and time to organize the whole thing." The young man replied. "We are here."

"So, what exactly do you and this supervisor want me to do to your classmates?"

"They said that you'd kill them." The young man replied.

"Why would I do that?"

"Because Tina is your daughter." The young man replied without hesitation.

At this I froze in complete shock. What has he just said? "I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I demanded in irritation.

"That Tina is your daughter." The young man replied.

"Who told you that?" I demanded angrily.

"I kind of figured it out on my own. You see, when they saw what my classmates had done to Tina they told us that we were dead. Several of my classmates laughed saying that General Hux would never kill them, after all, they are just kids."

"The Supervisor then replied that it wasn't the General they should be afraid of it was Tina's real father we should fear. That eventually he would admit that she is indeed his daughter, and then we'd all suffer his wrath. The supervisor told us that her true father had quite a temper and like his grandfather, he wasn't someone to make angry."

"I see. That reminds me, why didn't The supervisor leave you locked in the room with the rest of your classmates?"

"I didn't hurt Tina. In fact, I never laid a hand on her and I tried to stop my classmates from hurting her. So the Supervisor decided that I didn't deserve to die like the rest of them." The young man replied.

"You truly care about her don't you?"

"I know that I shouldn't. I have only just met her and she in no way old enough to be interested in boys, let alone date but yes. I really do care a lot about her." The boy replied with a sigh.

"When I have addressed your classmates and have dealt with their behavior as I see fit, I want to speak with you some more alone."

The young man gulped but nodded "yes sir."

As soon as the door was opened several girls and boys cheered "someone's finally come to rescue us."

"Rescue? I think not." Kylo replied stepping into the room closing the door behind him as he ignited his lightsaber. He smiled beneath his helmet as their faces turned from relief to pure fear. He felt exhilarated by the pure feeling of serenity filling his thoughts and mind. For a moment he felt just like his grandfather.
His grandfather had killed tons of padwan learners without regret. He would do the same to these children.

"Why are you doing this?" A young girl no older then seven asked tearfully. Kylo almost felt bad for her. Almost.

"Because you hurt her." He replied pointing his lightsaber at the young girl. He didn't have to clarify she knew exactly who he was talking about.

"You mean Tina? I swear I didn't have anything to do with hurting her. Please, please don't kill me." The girl begged dropping to her knees.

"We are sorry. Please forgive us. We don't want to die." The children cried.

"I'll consider it." Kylo replied. "Each if you come stand before me. Starting with you." Kylo said pointing towards the boy responsible for most of her injuries."

"I.... I'm...."

Kylo held up his hand silencing the boy. "Save it! I can tell what I want to know without you speaking." Kylo stated not wanting to hear the boys pleas. With that Kylo searched the boy's mind for any signs of remorse for what he had done. It didn't surprise him to find that he did not. He clenched his fist in anger as he read the boy's thoughts.

"Why does Lord Ren even care about her? She deserved to be punished for being such a spoiled brat and a teacher's pet. Not to mention a freak."

"Stand over there."

The next child to come was a young girl she trembled before him. Her eyes were filled with tears. "I wanted nothing to do with this but I had no choice. Join them or be labeled a traitor. They would have attacked me hurt me. She didn't deserve what they did to her but what could I do? I'm just a small frail little girl."

"Come stand by this young boy." Kylo stated pointing to the boy who had lead him to the room.

One by one he read the minds of all the students and one by one he separated them.
One group was filled with students who had no remorse for what they had done. The other students who either truly regretted their behavior or students who had not wanted to hurt Tina but were too scared to refuse.

Those who actually felt sorrowful would need to be sent to reconditioning. Feeling compassion for ones enemies was something soldiers could not afford. Yet, he was determined to make an example out of the two who had orchestrated the whole affair. They would die.

"You will be sent to reconditioning." He said pointing towards the group who felt sorrowful for their actions. "If you really felt that Tina was your enemy then you should have no remorse for your actions."

"But sir, we never saw Tina as our enemy. She is our classmate and she didn't deserve what was done to her. Those two are bullies they forced us to participate." One of the children replied point to the two who had been in charge of the whole situation.

Kylo didn't respond instead he turned to the other group "the rest of you showed no signs of remorse for your actions. You felt that she deserved what has happened to her. Why is that?"

"Because she's a tattle tale and a teacher's pet. If she ratted out our teacher for punishing her what's to stop her from betraying the First Order if she is ever captured by the the enemy? She had to be taught that her big mouth would get her into trouble and that she should learn to keep it shut." One of the children replied.

"You might very well receive your wish. Tina lies in the medical bay in a coma in critical condition. Her life is barely hanging on by a thread. She may never awaken."

At this the students faces changed from defensive to that of concern. "We never meant for her to wind up in the medical bay." One of the students replied a worried look crossing their face. Then they pointed to the two who had planned the whole thing. "They were the ones who wanted to hurt her. They were the ones who insisted that she deserved to die. If it hadn't been for us refusing to cause her any more pain they would have killed her."

"What then would you have me do?" Kylo asked the group.

"Punish them." The groups shouted. Kylo looked at the two children responsible their faces filled with fear.

"Aren't these children your friends?"Kylo asked.

"No!" The group of children shouted simultaneously.

"They are your classmates though. Don't you care what happens to them?"

"They are bullies. Mr. Kylo Ren Sir. They  use who their parents are as a way to intimidate us into doing whatever they tell us. It's their fault that Tina is hurt." Several children cried in response.

"One might argue that it's also all of your faults." Kylo replied pointing his lightsaber at the crowd. "Why then should I punish them and spare you?" The room fell silent no one knew how to reply. "You will be pleased to know that I have chosen to spare your lives. However, if any of you ever lay a hand on Tina again I won't be so forgiving." With that Kylo turned and left the room leaving a group of completely confused children.
