A long time ago in a Galaxy far far away the Empire had been defeated bringing peace to the galaxy. However, peace did not last long as soon a new threat rose to take the Empire's place. Ruled by the somewhat mysterious Snoke a group who came to be known as the first order slowly rose to power.

Princess Leia now married to Han Solo had a young son whom they had named Benjamin or Ben for short in honor of their old friend Obi-wan Kenobi. Her son Benjamin Solo from a young age had become fascinated with his Grandfather.

Not with Anakin Skywalker mind you, but rather his Sith side Darth Vader. Worried that he might fall to the temptation of the dark side Leia sent him to train with his Uncle at his academy for young Jedi. Ben excelled in his studies and soon became Luke's best student. Luke however, was concerned with his growing interest in the dark side of the force.

One night he looked into Ben's future and saw that it was full of anger, violence and death. He was already corrupted by the dark side of the force. Supreme Leader Snoke had filled his head with lies and hatered. He knew first hand what happened to the Galaxy when evil was allowed to rule. So for one moment he thought he could end it before it began.

Raising his lightsaber high in the air he was about to bring it down upon young Ben when he awoke. Upon seeing the terrified and hurt look in his nephew's eyes he hesitated long enough for Ben to grab his lightsaber and block his attack. Realizing what he had been about to do Luke cried out to Ben but it was too late.

He had betrayed his trust and now Ben was furious. He wanted to make his Uncle suffer for what he had done and so he killed the rest of his Uncle's students and set fire to his school. He rushed into the very arms of the man they had sought so hard to protect him from.

Snoke was delighted by this turn of events and used it to turn Ben to the dark side of the force. Wanting to forget his past Ben rid himself of the name Ben Solo and decided to call himself Kylo Ren. Wanting to be as feared as his grandfather had once been he forged a mask similar in design which deepened his voice to sound more threatening. Luke devastated by what had happened went into seclusion no one knew where he had gone.

Knowing that the first order must be defeated Leia along with many others created a group known as the resistance to fight the first order. There she gained the title of General. Her heart was broken as was her family. Her brother in some unknown unreachable location. Her husband feeling as if she blamed him for what had happened returned to the life of a pirate.

Her son corrupted by Snoke devastating the universe under his rule. However, she never gave up hope. Hope that her brother would one day return to help battle this evil as he had done in the past, hope that her and Han's relationship could be mended, hope that her son would one day return to the light and hope that the Galaxy would one day be able to return to peace.

Kylo was tired of this incessant fighting between the first order and the resistance. Why couldn't they understand that all they wanted was to restore balance to this chaotic galaxcy? Why couldn't his mother understand? He pushed that thought aside.

She was no longer his mother. As far as he was concerned she was the enemy. Besides he couldn't go back now even if he wanted too. Kylo decided that he needed to get away for a while. Away from his responsibilities as second in command of the First Order, away from the stress of his family. He had no clue where he was going and in truth he didn't care.

"Where are you going?" Hux demanded as he headed towards his ship.

"That is none of your concern." Kylo replied turning to leave but Hux blocked his path.

"I'm not about to allow you to leave and go who knows where for who knows how long. Your needed here. We are after all, in the middle of a battle or did you forget that?" Hux demanded with a slight sneer.

Kylo sighs ignoring Hux and gets into his ship. As soon as he's gone Hux orders that his ship be tracked. The stormtroopers were hesitant to do as he ordered. Probably because they knew that Kylo liked his privacy and he was well known for his violent temper.

Kylo found his way to a small planet and removed his helmet. Placing it on the stand and changing out of his clothing into something less intimidating. He wanted to blend not have every one terrified of him. At least for the moment anyway.

He walked into one of the establishments and sat down at the bar. "What will you have?" The bartender asked gruffly as he sat down to observe the surroundings.

"Blue bantha milk." Kylo replied and the bar tender laughed.

"We don't serve baby drinks here. If your looking for something like that You might want to try the hut next door." The bar tender replied with a laugh. Kylo clenched his fist in anger but chose to ignore the clear attempt of mockery.

"Give me your toughest drink." Kylo replied and the bar tender looked at him shocked.

"I think that'd be a little bit too out of your range little man. How about a nice brew instead?"

At this Kylo grabbed the bar tender by the collar "I said give me your strongest drink!" He growled roughly shoving the bar tender backwards.

"Right away sir." The bar tender replied with a slight gulp realizing that perhaps he has chosen to mock the wrong man.

Meanwhile, Kylo surveyed the establishment his eyes catching sight of a beautiful young woman around his age walking around trembling. She didn't have on many clothes and Kylo could tell that she was afraid of these drunk men. Several of them grabbed at her and tried to get her to sit on their laps and kiss her. The bar tender watched amused and shook his head and chuckled. "Here's your drink." The bar tender watched shocked as Kylo downed the entire drink in one gulp.

"Another." Kylo replied pushing the cup towards the bartender who quickly did as Kylo asked.

"Aw come on pretty lady. Come and keep me company for a while." A drunk man said with a cruel laugh as he grabbed ahold of the young woman and pulled her onto his lap.

"Please... I have other customers that I need too attend too." Kylo noticed that she tries to pull away only to receive a slap across the face.

"Who said you could go anywhere wench? I said I want some entertainment and your going to oblige!"

"Please let go." She begged as the man began exploring her body with his disgusting hands.

"Awww quit being such a cry baby we all know that women of your kind like this. Besides, this is what your paid for isn't it? To ensure your guests enjoy themselves?" He replied giving her a sloppy kiss on the lips. The young woman whimpered and Kylo had enough. After downing his second drink he walked over to where the man was and tapped him on his shoulder.

"It looks to me like the lady isn't interested in your advances."

"Lady? What lady? There's no lady here just a useless bar wench. All women are useless except for in one category. Isn't that right sweetheart?" The man replied with a boisterous laugh. The young woman winced at the insinuation looking down at the floor. "Look kid, I like your spunk but this wench isn't your concern so why don't you run along." The man demanded.

Kylo sighed and shrugged his shoulders "your right this is not my concern." With that Kylo turned to go back to the bar.

"I knew it, the boy is yellow." The man replied with a laugh.

At this, Kylo turned around slowly so not to loose his temper. "I wouldn't underestimate me if I were you." Kylo warned.

"Oh yeah? Just what is a little punk kid like you going to do up against a man of war like me?" The man demanded. Then turning to his friends he tossed the young girl into his friend's lap. "hold the girl while I teach this insolent boy a lesson."

"Sure thing boss." The man snickers as he watches the man approach Kylo. Much to the shock of everyone in the bar, it didn't take Kylo long to defeat the drunk man and his associates.

Tossing the bar tender a coin for his drinks, he started to escort the young woman out of the bar. However, the bartender grabbed her arm and pulled her back into the establishment. "Just where do you think your going? Your shift is far from over. You know the boss is going to be livid when he returns."

"I know. Thank you for your help but I should get back to work. He's right. My Master won't be happy to find that I'm gone." She replied.

"It was nothing I assure you." Kylo replied. "What's a beautiful young woman like yourself doing in a place like that anyway?"

"My father loved to drink and one day he couldn't pay his bill so he made a deal with the bar owner that I'd work off his debt for him as a waitress/ entertainer. It was only supposed to be until his bill had been paid but since my father loved his alcohol, he sold me permanently to the bar owner in exchange for a life time of drinks." The young woman replied tearfully. "My Master is going to be extremely angry when he learns what happened tonight."

"Don't concern yourself about him. I will deal
with him in the morning. Do you have anywhere to stay the night?"

"No." The young woman replied blushing in shame.

"Your more then welcome to stay aboard my ship until better arrangements can be made." Kylo replied.

"While I am grateful for your offer I am not sure that I should accept. I don't know anything about you. I don't even know your name."

"Kylo."

The young woman took a step back in shock and she began to tremble. "I'm sorry Please forgive me. I didn't recognize you.

Kylo chuckled slightly "I didn't want to be recognized."

"I will gladly be your entertainment for the night if that is what you desire. Please don't kill me." The young woman replied tearfully.

"Come now dry your tears. I would never take advantage of a young woman such as yourself. You do not need to entertain me in any way. Just spending time in your company will be more then enough payment for one night rest in my ship." Kylo replied lifting her face and drying her tears.

"Then what I've heard about you isn't true?"

Kylo chuckled amused by this young woman's innocence"that depends on what you've heard."

"That you have no regard for life. That you have slaughtered thousands of people including woman and children. Some say that your a monster that you have no heart." Upon seeing the hurt in his eyes the young woman looked down in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

"No. It's alright you don't need to apologize. It is true, I have killed a lot of people and some of them unfortunately were children. You have to understand that The First Order isn't evil. We are trying to restore balance to the Galaxy. Sometimes lives must be lost in order to obtain the ultimate goal." Kylo replied with a sigh.

Over the next few days Kylo and the young woman spent a lot of time together. Despite their efforts to deny their growing physical attraction to each other they gave into their lust and had a unintended night of love making. Kylo realized that he was starting to have feelings for this young woman.

Concerned that he might be being drawn to the light due to his growing affections for this young woman he knew he had to leave. Love was a weakness one that he couldn't afford. "You have to leave." He told the young woman the next morning.

"Have I done something wrong?" She asked tearfully.

"No. I have been denying my responsibilities for too long. I must return to my duties on board the First Order bass."

"Take me with you."

"I can't. My work is dangerous and I could never forgive myself if anything were ever to happen to you. Love is a luxury that I cannot afford our relationship cannot go beyond that of friends." Kylo replied.

The young woman frowned "friends? And what about what happened last night between us? Am I to just forget what happened between us?"

"Yes. The truth is I can't allow myself to fall in love. Love is a weakness that I can't afford. You need to forget last night ever happened." Kylo replied with a sigh.

"Well I can't! You might be able to push your feelings aside and lock them up but I can't! I love you Kylo and I know that you love me! Why can't you accept that? Is it because of the stupidity of that Supreme leader of yours? Love is...."

Before she could finish her sentence she found herself in a force choke. "Don't you ever talk that way about the Supreme Leader! Snoke is a genius! As for your comment I don't love you! Last night was a mistake and it won't ever happen again so forget about it! Forget about us! There is no us! Now get out!" Kylo replied shoving her out the doorway of his ship and onto the ground.
