Imagine being the sister of General Hux and having a secret relationship with Kylo.

"What's going on between you two?" my brother Armitage asked.

Yes general Hux is my brother, the man the that despises Kylo Ren. Who was also my boyfriend but I didn't want him to know.

He would lose his mind if he knew I was with Kylo.

Just gotta play it cool, don't seem suspicious. And don't tell him about Kylo.

This should be easy, right?

"Nothing, nothing is going on between Kylo and I. He's my mentor" I say firmly, hoping that it sounded as convincing as I thought it did.

The mentor part wasn't a lie, He was that. He was also training me to use a lightsaber. Which I also had on me as evidence, so he couldn't question that.

I looked up at Armitage who now gave me a look as if he didn't believe a word I just said.

"Are you sure?, if there's anything. You can tell me. I am your brother after all" he reassures me.

"I know that Armitage, but there's nothing going on" I reply back.

"Alright, alright. I'll leave you alone" he adds.

I leave his quarters and head down to Kylo's quarters farther down the hall. I wanted to let Kylo know that my brother was getting suspicious about us.

Once I reach Kylo's quarters, I punch in the code on the keypad and the door slides open.

"Kylo...are you in here?, I have to talk to you about something" I whispered, loud enough for him to hear me in the room.

Waiting for a response I shuffled into the room as the door shut behind me.

"I'll be right out, y/n. I'm in the refresher, I'm just washing up" I hear Kylo's muffled voice from behind the door to the refresher.

I decided to sit on his bed while I waited for him to get out.

I took my lightsaber off of my belt and placed it on the nightstand before settling down comfortably on the bed.

I was getting impatient while waiting and found a pen laying oh his nightstand.

I picked it up and twirled it around between my fingers, then throwing it up in the air once in a while.

It wasn't long till Kylo walked out of the refresher, I had the pen thrown into the air and I looked at Kylo real quick and he wasn't wearing at shirt and I froze in my spot on the bed, distracted by his chest. The pen came down on my head and I let out an 'ow'. Then Kylo's gaze met mine and my face turned red in embarrassment.

"Hello there handsome" I say aloud, Kylo laughs as he goes into his wardrobe for a shirt.

"What did you want to talk about?" Kylo asked as he pulled a black shirt over his head.

"My brother is suspicious about us, he kept asking me questions and wanted to know if there was anything going on between us"

"It's always Hux, he tries to get involved with anything he can, I apologize, but your brother is so irritating"

I laugh at Kylo.

"I know Kylo, but he's my brother and he's just being protective of me. I didn't tell him anything. He's suspicious but I don't think he knows about us" I say sternly, trying to sound convincing but deep down I had a feeling that Armitage already knows and he was asking to see if I would be honest with him or not.

I was just really hoping that he didn't know, if he did he would inform everyone and Kylo would probably kill him.

Probably not kill him as much as he despises the man but he's my brother.

He wouldn't hurt someone I cared about, and as much as Armitage could be a real jerk at times, I still cared deeply for him.

"If he doesn't know then that's a good sign, what else did you tell him?" Kylo questions as he sits next to me on the bed.

"I just told him that there was nothing between us and that you were my mentor" I mumble.

"Kylo can I ask you something?" I ask lowly.

"What is it?" He asks, his head tilting closer towards mine.

"If my brother knew about us, would you hurt him?" I blurt out and part of me regrets asking the question in the first place.

I can feel my face start to turn red and I cover my face with my hands. "You don't have to answer that, I'm sorry" I breathe nervously.

I feel a warm hand on my shoulder and I pull my hands back to look up at him.

"I wouldn't hurt him, he's your brother. I can say that I don't like his company. I wouldn't hurt him, he's important to you" he answers.

"Thank you love" I whisper as I lean in to kiss him, catching him off guard.

His arms wrap around me, holding me to his chest.

Once I pull away, he keeps me in his arms and I cuddle into his chest.

A few minutes later
Ruining the sweet moment was a knock at the door followed by a familiar voice.

"Ren, can I speak to you about a manner involving my sister?"

It was my brother.

I looked at Kylo wide eyed.

"What do we do?!?" I whisper frantically.

"Go hide in the refresher, I'll talk to him and I'll come and get you when he's gone" he whispers back and I quickly get off Kylo and shuffle over to the refresher.

Once inside I close the door and lean against it so I can hear what was being said on the other side with Kylo.

"What did you want to discuss Hux?" I hear Kylo say, annoyed by Armitage interrupting our time together.

"I'm lead to believe that my sister is having a romantic relationship with you, she has denied this earlier today but I felt that I should ask you, being that you are her mentor and have been looking after her for some time now" I hear my brother say nervously.

He's not even comfortable with asking him about this right now so he definitely knows. Or does he?

At the moment, my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest.

I was just scared of what my brother would do with the knowledge of our relationship.

Would he run straight to Snoke and tell him everything, or would he stay quiet about it?

Wish I had the answers right now.

While waiting in the refresher I sat on the edge of the large tub that was in the corner of the room.

I could still partially hear Kylo speaking with my brother.

Waiting a few more minutes I realized something, and that it was a big mistake at this moment.

I had just remembered that I left my lightsaber on the nightstand in the room.

"What's my sister's lightsaber doing in here, give me answers Ren" I heard my brothers voice firm.

He was getting mad now that he was seeing what he needed and not getting the answers.

I had made a mistake by leaving my saber out, and it was a stupid mistake.

I stood up from the tub and walked towards the door of the refresher.

I took a deep breath and slowly opened the door.

Pulling it open to see Kylo's tall frame towering over my brothers.

"Y/n, tell me the truth this instant, I will not tolerate your lies any longer" my brother orders.

Embarrassed, I walk slowly over to Kylo, who looks down at me before a speak.

"Armitage, I'll explain everything to you, I just need you to listen" I breathe nervously.

"I'm listening" he replies.

"I didn't tell you because I knew you wouldn't accept it, I knew how you felt about him and I was afraid that you would go off and tell the others about it and we didn't want that to cause any issues" I explain cautiously.

"I wound tell anyone" he answers and I look up at him confused.

"You won't?" I ask.

"I won't, I can see how much you care about him...I wouldn't mess up what make you happy" he says and I smile.

I lean in and pull him in for a hug.

His arms wrap around me gently, surprised because he doesn't usually like hugs.

When he pulls away he stares up at Kylo, giving him a dirty look.

"If you  hurt her, I will not hesitate to inform the supreme leader of the manner" he says firmly.

I tried to hold back my laughter as my brother was really trying to intimidate Kylo Ren.

Like Armitage, I love you but you're embarrassing yourself in front of Kylo.

He's not scared of you.

I looked up at Kylo as my brother said this and his face stayed in the same calm tone.

"I would never do anything to hurt her, so Snoke shouldn't know anything about this and that should be clear, is that right Hux?" Kylo says reassuringly.

"Right, I'll be going now. I have a meeting that I must attend to involving Captain Phasma"  my brother announces as he leaves Kylo's quarters quietly.

After the door closes behind him I sigh in relief.

"I didn't want him to find out that way but at least he knows now, he can stop pestering me about it" I mumble.

Kylo turns to face me and he wraps his arms around me, pulling me to his chest. My ear hovering over his heart as it beat steadily. It was calming to me listening to it.

"I love you Kylo" I whisper against his chest.

"And I love you, y/n" he replied as he presses a kiss to my forehead.

"So no more sneaking around behind my brothers back"

"No more"
