The Kurosaki family arrived at the mall downtown. Yuzu was excited about this family trip. She had not gone on a family trip for weeks. "Onii-chan, let's visit the grocery store first. There are things I want to buy." Yuzu suggested.

"Ah so boring. Dad, I want to go to the games store. I want to go check what games are released this month." Karin asked their Dad.

"Yeah sure. Hey, Ichigo. You take care of Yuzu while I take care of Karin. I'm counting on you." his Dad said.

"Got it. Leave it to me." Ichigo proudly replied. Having said that, the family split into two and each went to their respective destinations. "Onii-chan, what do you want for dinner on your birthday next week? I'll prepare your favourite if that's what you want." Yuzu asked.

"My birthday? Anything is fine."

"No! You must have one dish you fancy for your birthday!"

"Fine. Then I'll have curry. Chicken curry."

"Alright, I'll go get the ingredients. I'll probably take a while so you can go ahead and browse around the store while waiting."

Ichigo took up that suggestion. As he was browsing through the groceries available for sale, he sensed that something was going to happen but he pushed that ominous thought to the back of his mind.

As soon as Yuzu was done, they paid for the groceries and left for another shop. "Onii-chan, let's go get ourselves some new clothes. I need new ones for my friend's upcoming birthday party."

"Sure, but let's get Karin and Dad too. I'm sure they want to get new clothes too. Besides, the more opinions the better." Ichigo suggested.

Yuzu agreed and they set off to find the other group at the games store. When they reached the games store, they met the other group at the exit of the shop. Karin wad holding a bag of goods. What was inside seems to be video games of some sort.

"Look Ichigo Onii-chan! I've got this game that is co-op player. We can play this together when we are both free." Karin exclaimed in exitement.

"Great idea. I'll play it with you tonight then. I know you can't wait till next time, am I right?"

Karin nodded.

The Kurosaki family was now heading to a restaurant for dinner. Ichigo felt that same feeling back at the grocery store. He knew that something was wrong but he did not want to dig further, not until things really get ugly. They had a family talk during dinner and the mood was good. Everyone was laughing and smiling. At that moment, Ichigo felt an incredibly strong reiatsu from the roof of this building. The feeling he felt just now came back. He could not hold that feeling back anymore.He decided to tell Dad to bring Yuzu and Karin back home first. He said he was going to visit some store but in fact, he was going to investigate that reiatsu. Isshin agreed and brought the two daughters home. Isshin thought: "Could it be.....? I'm sure Ichigo also felt that reiatsu. Hmm, maybe he's grown up to be a fine man after all. Can't let him find out that I'm a shinigami too. Not at this point. I'll leave things to you now Ichigo. Please stay safe."
