You where in love with Kaijo High's basketball captian Kasamatsu Yukio, who happens to be your childhood friend but you where too self cautious of your height. You where taller than him he is 5'10 (A/N: according to Google xD he's still taller than me I'm 5'3 //cries//) and you where 6'1, the tallest girl in your school

You constantly got bugged to join basketball teams but you don't like sports so you never bothered.

You walked to the school and saw two large doors. You could hear the sound of shoes squeeking and a ball dribbling and you blushed "the basketball team" you mumbled "Yu-chan is on the team" you said while blushing more, since he was your crush

You opened the door and the whistled blowed signaling for a break. All eyes were on you and your kouhai Kise ran up to you "(Y/N)-chii!~" chirped Kise. Kise was taller than you by one inch but you were still pretty tall

"What brings you here-ssu?" He asked and you looked at Kasamatsu who was sitting on the bench, your eyes met and you blushed and he did as well and you looked back at Kise "n-no reason" you said and he smirked

"Ehh~ isn't it just because you like Ka-MFF" you blushed furiously and covered his mouth with your hands "hahaha" you laughed nervously and Kise understood and nodded

You moved your hand and sighed "good luck senpai~" he whispered and you blushed

Kasamatsu walked over to the two of you and pulled Kise by the ear "waa! Ittai! Senpai~ so mean-ssu" Kise pouted

"Stop flirting and get ready. Breaks almost done" replied Kasamatsu and you giggled. he looked up at you and blushed "don't laugh. Damn tree" he retorted and you frowned "ehh~ Yu-chan! You shouldn't furrow your eyebrows too much! You're gonna ruin your adorable face!" You said and he blushed "you're so cute!~" you chirped and patted his head he turned even more red and swatted your hand away

"Ehh~ senpai is so kawaii~" said Kise and Kasmatsu pulled Kise's ear harder "ittai! So mean-ssu!" Yelled Kise "shut up aho!" Yelled Kasamatsu

He pulled Kise by the ear and dragged him off somewhere and you laughed at your adorable friend

"Kasamatsu hand me that box" said the coach and he nodded and went to the supply closet and struggled to reach the box considering it was so high up

You walked over to the supply closet "Yu-chan, I can help" you said and he glared at you "I don't need your help" he said and tried to jump and get the box and accidentally knocked the shelf making some boxes tip over

"Yu-chan!" You yelled and tried to cover him "baka!" He yelled and pushed you onto the ground and blocked all the items from falling onto you with his body

He moved away from you and you looked at him "t-thanks for saving me. Are you okay?" You asked and he held his arm, which was brushed

"Oh my god! Yukio! Your gonna die!! What do we do!?!!" You panicked and he sighed "shut up, aho" he said and you got an idea, you picked him up bridal style. He was surprisingly light and he blushed "o-oi!' He yelled and you ignored him and walked out of the supply closet

The whole team looked at the two of you and held in their laughter "I'm taking Kasamatsu to the infirmary. He's injured" you said and the coach nodded

You brought him to the infirmary and sat him on one of the beds. His face was a dark shade of red

"You didn't have to carry me. That was embarrassing as hell" he said "sorry I panicked" you said and got an ice pack and a bandaid

You put it on his cut and gave it a kiss, making him blush even more and you put the ice over it "feeling better?" You asked and he winced in pain

"Thanks for saving me. But why'd you do that? I was going to protect you" you said and he flicked your forehead

"I knew you were an idiot but this is too much" he said and you gave him a confused look

He pulled you by the collar and crashed his lips onto yours, his face was beat red and he pulled away

You blushed and touched your lips "eh?" Was all you could say "I can't let the girl I l-love get injured" he stuttered and a smile crept onto your face

You kissed him on the cheek and smiled "I love you Yu-chan, I was too scared to tell you because of my height" you said and he hugged you

You hugged him back and giggled "I love you for you. I don't care about your height or anything" he said and you started to tear up

He looked up at you and his eyes widened "o-oi!' He yelled and tried to wipe your tears

"Sorry. I'm just so happy" you said and he sighed "you've always been such a cry baby" he said and you pouted "hey!" You said and he chuckled

"But your my cry baby" he said and hugged you. You hugged him back and your heart was beating really fast

"I'll always love you" said Kasamatsu into your shirt
