~Stranded? - Kagami Taiga~

You and Kagami went to America. The two of you went there because a friend of yours named (Random Name) asked for you and Kagami to come over.

(Random Name) told you that he wanted you and Kagami to fill-in for him as a surf instructor because he had to take care of his sick grandmother while his parents were overseas.

"Don't fight, you two, okay?" He reminded.

"This is probably the tenth time you've told us," you groaned as you unpacked your clothes from your luggage.

"It's because every time you two do something together, it always turns it into a competition and the both of you start fighting. Sometimes even resorting to violence," (Random Name) explained.

"It won't happen again," You replied, zipping your bag up.

"Mm-hm, sure," (Random Name) replied sarcastically.

"Just shut up! I promise it won't happen again!" You promised. "Right, Taiga?" You asked the dark red head, who was munching on hamburgers.

"Hm? I probably won't be able to keep that promise," he glared at you as you glared back.

"Then we'll see who breaks the promise first. The first one that does it, has to serve the other for a whole week," you said.

"Turning it into a competition?" (Random Name) questioned.

"How'd you understand?!" You asked in surprise.

"I don't. I was just guessing and it seems I got it right," the (Random Color) haired male chuckled.

"Just go already, (Random Name's Nickname). Your grandma's probably waiting for you," you shooed him off.

"Just don't get into fight, you two," he repeated.

"You're not our mom, so stop acting like one," Kagami said.

"I know that," (Random Name) replied.

"Just go already, (Random Name's Nickname)!" You and Kagami yelled at him.

"Yeah, yeah. See ya, lovebirds," (Random Name) teased and left the room.

"Lovebirds?!" You and Kagami exclaimed and left (Random Name) smirking as he got out the room.

You and Kagami had this sort of love-hate relationship. The two of you weren't in an actual relationship, it was just a friend relationship.

But people thought that the two of you were actually dating, since you and Kagami did everything together. It annoyed the both of you a lot.

You and Kagami weren't even that close in the beginning, but having to work with the dark red head with everything these past years, brought you to like him in that way.

Although, you would never admit it, since you didn't think Kagami would have the same feelings.

"So annoying," you groaned as you walked over to your bed and grabbed the black backpack. "Anyway, I'm off."

"Huh, where?" Kagami questioned.

"To the beach, idiot. We have to fill-in as surf instructors, remember?" You answered as you rolled your eyes.

"Oh, yeah," Kagami replied.

A few minutes later...

"So you paddle like this and then quickly pop-up... Like this," you instructed, showing the 7 year-old kid step-by-step.

"Um, so you lay on your stomach... And then paddle... And then pop-up like this- Whoa!" The kid screamed as he nearly lost his balance, but you caught him. "Aha, sorry!" He apologized.

"No, it's alright, you're just learning," you smiled at him and then looked at the big clock nearby (A/N: Just my imagination of the beach lol). "Ah, lesson's nearly over. You wanna try and do it on the water?" You suggested.

"B-But I'm scared," the kid replied.

"You can just surf the baby waves, of course," you said.

The kid grabbed his mini-surfboard and walked closer to the water.

He paddled towards the small waves coming to shore and then he popped-up, but lost his balance and fell in the water.

Your eyes widened and then quickly ran over to the kid, but then realized that the water was shallow.

The boy appeared on the surface with a sheepish smile.

"Are you okay?" You questioned, bending doen to his level.

"Yep~! Don't worry about me, haha~," he replied.

"Okay, then," you smiled. "Well, lesson's over," you stated.

"Are you gonna be teaching me again tomorrow?" The kid questioned.

"Um, no. A tall, dark red haired guy with split eyebrows, an ugly face and a very short temper will teach you," you answered.

"What?! He sounds scary!" The kid exclaimed.

"Trust me, he isn't," you chuckled.

"Eh, okay then. Well, thanks for teaching me, (First Name)~!" The kid thanked as you smiled and he ran off to his parents nearby.

"Great job describing me," the dark red haired guy said as he glared at you, appearing out of nowhere.

"Well, what how else am I supposed to describe you? I'm sure what I said fits your description," you replied, packing up the stuff.

"Whatever. When am I teaching the kid?" Kagami questioned.

"Uh... Tomorrow at 10:30am," you said after you checked the clipboard nearby.

"Okay," the male replied. "I'll probably teach him better than you," Kagami said.

"Pfft, in your dreams," you replied. "I'm a better surf instructor and surfer than you," you bragged.

"Everyone knows that girls can't surf as good as guys," Kagami retorted.

"That's not true! I surf better than you! I even learnt how to surf before you when we were 7!" You replied.

"That doesn't prove anything! I'm still a better surfer than you!"

"No!"

"Then why don't we have a surf off?!" Kagami challenged.

"But I have another lesson in 5 minutes," you replied.

"Scared to get your ass kicked?" Kagami questioned with a smirk.

"No! But fine, I'll accept the challenge," you replied.

An hour later...

"Nice wipe-out on that roundhouse," you snickered.

"Tch, whatever. I'll show you how to do something called an aerial," Kagami replied.

"Ha, my grandmother gets more air than you," you stated and paddled further out to sea, making Kagami's eye twitch as he followed you.

"Hey, back off, I've got this," Kagami raised his voice as you two rode the same wave.

"No, I'm on it. Get off!" You replied.

You and Kagami were surfing side-by-side and you were trying to push him off.

"No, you get off. It's my wave," Kagami said and then you pushed him futher away from you, while still on the board (A/N: Idk how to explain this--). "Oh, you are gonna get it," the dark red head glared at you and then jumped on your board.

When Kagami did, you nearly loss your balance. Then suddenly, the male put his hands over your eyes, hoping you would fall in the water.

You elbowed Kagami's stomach when he did that and then kicked his foot and fell on his back, while still on your board.

You smirked. Although, before you knew it, you were put on the basketball ace's shoulders.

"Put me down!" You demanded, holding onto his hair. "Taiga!"

He finally did as he was told and dropped you on the board and smirked. Then, you pulled down Kagami's board shorts, showing his d*ck and he quickly pulled up his shorts.

Everyone on shore was watching what was happening with widened eyes, but they seemed to be enjoying the entertainment.

After he pulled up his shorts, you pushed him off, but the dark red head grabbed your hands and you fell off the board with him.

"Ah, you're such an idiot," you raised your voice. "I've had it!"

"You know, (First Name), you act all tough out here, but will you be able to surf that?" Kagami questioned, pointing at the huge wave behind you two.

You turned, "So? That's not so scary," you replied.

"You wouldn't surf that!" Kagami scoffed.

"I'm up for it, if you are," you smirked.

"Really? Then let's do it, then," Kagami replied.

Time skip...

"You know, if you wanna surf the bigger waves, you gotta have killer lungs," you stated. "You could be underwater for a long time."

"I could hold my breath for a minute underwater easy!" Kagami replied.

"Yeah, right."

"Let's see who can hold it longer, (First Name)," Kagami challenged.

"You're on," you replied and then the two of you went underwater.

While down there, Kagami suddenly tickled you, making you lose some air and then you kneed his d*ck after he did that.

You both appeared back on the surface at the same time and you said, "You came up first!"

"No way, I beat you!" Kagami exclaimed.

You suddenly realized that you and the dark red head were being pulled out further from shore.

"It's a rip, we're being pulled out to sea," you stated. "C'mon, we're going back to shore," you said and started paddling. "Wait... I-I can't even tell where shore is right now. We need to paddle parallel to the rip."

"Um, no. You're supposed to paddle against it," Kagami corrected.

"No, you paddle parallel. If you've actually listened to what our teacher tells us, then you would've known that," you replied.

"Yeah, well, at least I'm a better surfer than you."

"Urgh! You are such an idiot!" You exclaimed.

Minutes later...

"Okay, we're officially lost at sea," you sighed.

"We're not lost! I know exactly where we are," Kagami said. "We're 98 degrees due north... By north... By west... Okay, we are lost," he gave in.

"This is all your fault, Taiga!" You blamed. "You're the one that had to surf the outer reef!" You yelled at him and splashed water at him in rage.

More time skip...

"I'll never be number one, I'll never achieve my dream," Kagami sighed as he lay on his board on his back.

You turned to the male, "You weren't going to be number one, anyway," you snapped and then turned your head. "Hey, get up, land!" You stated.

"Land?! Land?! We're saved!" Kagami exclaimed happily.

"C'mon, let's paddle for it," you said.

"No way, we should just rest and let the current take us inland," Kagami replied.

"How do you know it'll take us inland?" You questioned the male, cocking a brow.

"Because, currents don't go outland, dummy," he answered.

"'Outland' isn't a word, Einstein," you rolled your eyes and then suddenly, a fin passed by. "Wh-What was that?!" You stuttered.

"That was definitely a shark!" Kagami exclaimed. "A big one!"

After a long while later, you and Kagami finally made it to shore. The two of you were panting heavily as you lay on the sand of the beach.

"I don't think there's anyone here," you stated as you sat up.

"Our own island... That's great! I hereby name it-!"

"Idiot," you smacked the back of his head. "We're stranded on a remote island. This is bad," you stated.

"Hey, that hurt!" Kagami yelled at you, rubbing the back of his head.

"No-one knows that we're here. We may never make it back," you said.

"I never thought of it that way," the dark red haired male's eyes widened. "Oh, sh*t! Help! Help! He-!"

"Taiga, calm down!" You slapped his cheek.

"Stop hitting me!" He shouted at you, now rubbing his red cheek.

"First thing we need to do is make some kind of shelter, find food and water and make a fire," you instructed.

"Geez, you're so bossy," Kagami frowned.

"Hey, we could be here for a while. We have to provide for ourselves," you replied.

"You know, bossy girls never get boyfriends," Kagami stated and your eyes twitched. "I'm just sayin'!" He put his hands up.

"Okay, that is it! We have one more contest! Let's see who can survive longest!" You challenged as you glared daggers at the male.

"Tatsuya, have you seen Taiga and (First Name)?" (Random Name) questioned.

"Hm? No. All I know is that (First Name) missed one of her morning shifts," Himuro explained.

"(First Name) missed one of her morning shifts and Taiga's gone missing... They could be going out somewhere," (Random Name) wondered. "They must be dating," he smirked.

"Maybe," Himuro chuckled. "Wouldn't Alex be glad to hear this?"

"Of course," (Random Name) replied.

"Anyway, (Random Name's Nickname), aren't you meant to be with your grandmother?" Himuro questioned.

"Oh, that. I was lying. I just wanted Taiga and (First Name) to spend time together and stuff, but it seems like they're already together," the (Random Color) haired male explained.

Kagami was in the ocean, trying to catch a small fish. He finally caught one, although it slipped out of his hand, but he caught it with his other.

"Yes! I am man! All fish bow down before me!" The dark red headed ace celebrated. "Taiga will not starve tonight!"

"Nice catch, Taiga," you complimented sarcastically as you walked past him with a long-ish, thick branch on your shoulder with six fish tied to it.

"It put up a good fight," he replied.

"Okay, tell you what, you admit that I'm better than you at everything, except basketball, and I'll share half my meal with you," you said, making a deal with the Power Forward.

"Yeah, right. My fish is fine, thank you very much," he replied.

"Heh, sure," you chuckled.

"What, really?!" Alex exclaimed. "I want all the details!"

"Relax, Alex," the two males sweat dropped.

"All we know is that they're missing in action," Himuro stated.

"This is great! Now we, mostly me, doesn't have to deal with their constant fighting! But now they're dating! Yay~!" Alex cheered. "I love a good romance between my students!"

Kagami was sitting on the sand as he tried to make fire with a log, while drilling the stick into it. He frowned and grumbled, until he smelt something nice coming from your side.

The dark red haired male looked up and saw you sitting on a big log, eating some fish as the other fish you caught cooked on the fire you made.

"Half of this could be yours~," you said in a teasing tone.

"If-."

"You admit I'm better than you in everything, except basketball, and agree to do my laundry for a month," you interrupted.

"Never!" The dark red haired male replied.

"Really? Oh well, your call," you shrugged.

Kagami's stomach growled and he hesitantly picked up the small, raw fish.

He put it in his mouth and gulped it down, "hm... D-Delicious," he said, but then choked on the fish and spat it out.

The wind blew and the dark red haired male's three-stick hut fell, while he shivered from the cold.

"My kids have a surf lesson this hour, but where is the surf instructor?!" A woman complained to the black haired boy.

"Ah, sorry about that," Himuro smiled. "We're having trouble finding them right now."

"Who's supposed to teach them now, me?!" She questioned.

"I'm really sorry about that. We'll try and find them right away," Himuro replied.

"Hmm, this could use some sea salt~," you said as you stood up from the log and walked towards the water.

Kagami quietly snuck to where your fish were and was about to take one, until you glanced back and said, "Don't even think about."

"I wasn't! I'm not even hungry!" Kagami lied as his stomach growled.

"You sure about tha- Ah! Ow! Ow, ow, ow!" You screamed, holding your foot.

"What happened, get a cramp from eating too much?" Kagami teased, crossing his arms.

"I think I got stung by a jellyfish!" You answered.

"Really? Cool!"

"Don't just stand there, do somthing!" You yelled. "Ow! Ow, ow, ow!"

"Well, there's only one thing to do when you get stung by a jellyfish... You have to pee on it," Kagami stated.

"What?! No way, that can't be true!" You exclaimed in disbelief.

"Oh, it's true, alright," Kagami replied.

"If you're lying, I will kill you," you threatened. "Ow! But I don't think I can pee on my own foot," you stated.

"A guy could do that," the dark red haired male replied.

"You're right. Women can create life, give birth, feed a baby and men can pee on their on foot," you pointed out.

"Well, if you're gonna be like that, I guess I can't help," Kagami shrugged.

"Ugh, I can't believe I'm doing this," you facepalmed. "Will you... Pee own my foot?" You asked of him.

"Say 'pretty please'," Kagami asked of you.

"Taiga!" You screamed.

Dusk...

"I am so embarrased right now," you sighed, looking at your foot.

"I can't believe you let me pee on your foot," Kagami laughed.

You glared at him, "Okay, you cannot tell anyone you just did it, if you do, I'd just deny and... I meant it, never!"

"Well, it depends what mood I'm in," the Power Forward smirked.

"So what's the deal, Taiga, I have to tell everyone that you're the best at everything because you're a guy and you'll keep this a secret?" You questioned.

"Nah, just give me half your dinner and we'll call it even," he replied.

"For real?" You cocked a brow with a slight smile.

"Yeah. Getting peed on is half the punishment," Kagami answered.

"Thanks," you smiled and fed him a piece of the fish.

"You know, you drive me totally nuts, but being stuck here with you isn't all that bad," the dark red head stated.

"They could be out surfing, Tatsuya, Alex," (Random Name) said.

"We need to go there now! I need to see some lovey-dovey action between them!" Alex replied excitedly.

"Let's go. They might be stranded at an island, maybe," Himuro said.

"How long do you think we've been out here, a week?" Kagami questioned as you and him sat back-to-back on the sand.

"Are you an idiot?" You chuckled. "We've been stranded for at least 10 hours," you answered. "What if they never find us and we're stuck on this island forever?" You asked.

"Hm, it wouldn't be the end of the world," Kagami replied. "We got our own beach, our own boards."

"And we know how to cook crab," you added. "But aren't you upset that you may never be able to play basketall?" You asked.

"I guess I can live without basketball, since I got surfing," Kagami smiled. "Also, we can survive jellyfish attacks~."

"Still, if we're gonna die here...," you frowned. "... It might be nice to... Kiss someone one last time," you smiled slightly.

Kagami's eyes widened and then looked at you. You leaned in closer to his lips and he slowly closed the gap, until the two of you heard footsteps and quickly sat further from each other.

"Tatsuya, (Random Name's Nickname), Alex!" You said in surprise, standing up.

"Welcome to... This island! Did you get stranded, too?" Kagami questioned as he stood up, as well.

"No, we just walked down the beach to find you guys," Christian answered.

"Wait, you mean the resort is nearby?" You asked.

"Uh, yeah. It's 10 minutes that way," Himuro answered, pointing to his left side.

"Yeah, we're saved!" You and Kagami cheered and hugged each other.

"Okay, I don't know what they just said, but they're definitely dating," (Random Name) stated.

"What, no!" You and Kagami denied, pulling away from each other. "We're not!"

"My students are all grown up!" Alex said, putting an arm around you and Kagami.

"I told you, we are not dating!" You yelled at the blonde.

"We hate each other!" Kagami added.

"Eh...? But you two nearly kissed, until you heard us coming your way," Alex stated.

"We- I- It wasn't-."

"Let's go back to the resort and leave these lovebirds 'stranded' on this island," (Random Name) said.

"Shut up!" Kagami shouted.

"And aren't you supposed to be with your grandmother?" You asked.

"No. I only lied, so you and Taiga could spend time together," (Random Name) answered.

"Y-You-."

"Well, we've found you. Let's go and leave these two alone," Christian said.

"Have fun, you two~!" Alex called back.

"Alex!" You and Kagami yelled at her.

The three walked off and left you and Kagami standing there, until you asked, "So what d'ya say, what happened on this island stays on this island?"

"Deal. Wait, you mean everything everything?" The male questioned.

"Yeah," you answered and followed the three people who had already walked off.

"Taiga, I... Like you," you confessed.

His eyes widened at the confession and looked at you, "really?"

"I know you might not like me back, but I just wanted to let you know," you said as he ate the fish, not wanting to face the male.

"Idiot," he said. "I like- no, love you. I always have," Kagami admitted.

"So being out here with Taiga wasn't all that bad," you stated mentally with a smile.

"How long do you think we've been out here, a week?" Kagami questioned as you and him sat back-to-back on the sand.
