~Relationships - Koganei Shinji~

You went to school at Seirin High and you were a first year there.

You got up from bed and got ready for the first day of school. After finishing, you headed off to school and said bye to your mom and to your dark brown cat, Choco.

During school, everything went well and you even made a new friend, (Friend's Last and First Name).

After school...

"So~, do you have plans for tonight?" Your friend questioned you.

"I was gonna check out the basketball team," you answered.

"Eh, really?"

"Yeah. I was thinking of applying as manager," you smiled.

"Oh, alright. Good luck with that," you friend smiled back. "I have to get home quickly. Bye~."

"Bye."

Your friend waved at you and you waved back. With that, she took off and you headed towards the gym.

The lights were on and you saw people there; the basketball team and another girl with brown hair.

"Oh, she must be applying as manager, as well," you thought and walked towards her.

"Um, excuse me," you called to her.

The girl turned to you, "oh, hello," and smiled.

"Uh, do you know where I can find the coach?" You questioned.

"Oh, that's me," she said.

"E-Eh!?" You exclaimed.

"Yep," she replied.

"I thought you were applying as manager!"

"No, I'm the coach, Aida Riko," she introduced.

"Oh, alright. I'm (Last Name/First Name)," you replied.

"Are you applying as manager?" Riko asked you.

"Yeah," you smiled.

A few minutes later...

"Is that all?" You questioned.

"Yeah. Now, it's time to meet the team," Riko smiled. "Alright, training's over!" Riko announced.

Everyone stopped running and walked over to Riko, sweating and panting from their hellish training.

"Everyone, this is (Last Name/First Name)," Riko introduced. "She'll be the manager of Seirin from now on."

"H-Hello, everyone!" You greeted cheerfully.

After introducing everyone...

"... Mitobe Rinnosuke and this is Koganei Shinji," Riko finished.

You looked at Koganei and noticed something about him. You walked over to him and stared at his features.

All of a sudden...

"IT'S A HUMAN CAT!!" You screamed out and hugged him.

Koganei tensed up and blushed furiously. He slowly wrapped his arms around you and then you let go.

"U-Um, I'm not a cat at all," Koganei stated, still blushing from the hug as he looked away.

"But you look a lot like one! You're so cute!" You said as pinched his blushing cheek.

Mitobe opened his mouth and then closed it again.

"That's not true, Mitobe!" Koganei denied and Mitobe opened his mouth again. "It's not!" Koganei denied.

"Um...?" You asked, cocking a brow.

"Yeah, those two have a way of communicating that everyone here doesn't understand," Hyuga sweat dropped.

"Oh...," you replied.

"Well, that's all for today," Riko said and dismissed everyone.

"Choco!" You called to Koganei and he turned, looking at you with a confused face.

"What?"

"Choco! That's your name!" You stated.

"Uh, my name's Koganei Shinji and-."

"I know, but Choco is what I'll call you!" You interrupted. "You remind me of my brown cat."

"S-Sure, I guess," Koganei stuttered and looked at Mitobe who opened his mouth and closed it.

"But I just met her! There's no way!" Koganei denied in a whispered yell, so you couldn't hear.

Mitobe opened his mouth and closed it and then did some hand signs.

"Even if I did have feelings, I don't think it'd be mutual," Koganei muttered.

Mitobe did the same thing, but in a mocking way.

"You just said that, so you could force it out of me!?" Koganei asked, shocked.

"What?" You asked, turning to him.

"O-Oh, I was talking to Mitobe," Koganei scratched the back of his head.

"Hey, Choco, can I hang out with you tomorrow?" You asked.

"Huh?"

"I wanna get to know you more," you smiled.

Koganei looked at Mitobe and he opened his mouth and opened and closed his hand, then nodded.

"Sure, why not?" Koganei replied.

"Okay," you smiled.

The next day...

"Mom," you called as you are breakfast.

"What is it, honey?"

"Can we have another cat?" You asked. "Choco's always so lonely," you stated as you watched your cat play with his yarn ball without energy.

"I don't know, (First Name). Another cat in the house?" Your mom asked.

"It's just one more," you said.

"I don't know," your mom replied. "Anyway, how was school yesterday?" She asked you.

"I met two great people," you smiled.

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Theirs names are (Best Friend's Full Name) and Koganei Shinji."

"Koganei?" You mom repeated.

"Yep. Do you know him?"

"Well, I don't who he is, but I was friend's with his mother when we were younger," your mom stated, sitting near you.

"Eh?"

"And I was classmates with his uncle and my mom was his grandmother's best friend," you mom continued. "And your dad and his aunty were classmates before," she finished.

"Oh, my gosh! We have so much relationships with his family!" You cried out.

"And you'll have a great relationship with him. If you get what I mean, (First Name)," your mom winked.

"Mom!"

"I was just kidding," she chuckled. "Well, you better head of to school."

"Yeah, okay. Bye," you said and headed off.

At school...

"(Nickname)-chan!" Your best friend called.

"Hm?"

"I met this really great guy!"

"Oh, geez, here she goes again. Talking about boys," you groaned mentally.

"Uh-huh," you said, not caring.

"His name's Hyuga Junpei," you friend said.

"Eh!? From the basketball team!? And what, already!?"

"Yeah, the basketball team."

"He doesn't seem like your type," you muttered.

"Hey, I heard that," your friend stated.

"Whatever."

"How about you, meet anyone yet?" Your friend questioned.

"No," you answered.

"Are you sure~?"

"Yeah."

A few days later...

After school, you asked Koganei if he knew about his and your family's relationship.

You didn't ask him earlier, because you forgot about it as you were happily hanging out with him.

"Yeah. My mom asked how school was and I said I met..."

Koganei explained everything and you did, too.

"So I guess it's our generation next, huh?" Koganei asked.

"But I'm a first year," you stated.

"Well, I meant from ages 16-18," Koganei corrected himself.

"Wait, what do you mean by, 'it's our generation next'?" You questioned.

"Uh... N-Nothing," he smiled sheepishly.

You were about to say something, but your phone rang. It was your mom.

"Mom?" You answered it.

"Annsns(First Name), where are you? I'm worried," she said.

"Huh? Oh, I'm here with my friend," you replied.

"Friend?"

"Koganei-kun," you answered.

"Are you with him on a date, perhaps~?" Your mom questioned you.

"What, no!"

"I was just kidding," your mom chuckled.

"Just... What do you want?" You asked.

"Just checking where you were, and (First Name)?"

"Yeah?"

"You can go adopt another cat," your mom said.

"Eh? Really?" You asked as your face lit up.

"Yeah. Choco looks lonelier than this morning," your mom stated.

"Sure! I'll go to a pet store now," you said.

"Take care, and bring Koganei-kun with you just in case," your mom said.

"Yeah, okay."

"Take care," she repeated and with that, she hung up.

"What's going on?" Koganei questioned you.

"My mom said that I could adopt another cat," you answered.

"Another cat?"

"Yep! Let's go!" You said and grabbed his hand, making him blush a little.

At the pet store...

"Oh, damn, they're closed," you stated, looking through the window.

"Should we go to another?" Koganei asked.

"Yeah, su-."

When you were about to walk off with Koganei, the door opened and revealed a young man with brown hair.

"May I help you?" He asked.

"Oh, are you closed?" You asked.

"Yeah, but I guess I could help you," the young man said and walked back in the store.

"Koganei-kun," you called and followed the man.

"What are you looking for?" The young man asked.

"A female cat," you answered.

The man stayed silent as if waiting for you to say more.

"A brown, female cat."

The young man still stated silent and waited for you to say more.

"I don't know! Any brown, female cat will do! As long as she's obedient!"

The young man nodded, "wait there," he said and walked off.

"I didn't think you were the type to yell," Koganei stated.

"Sorry," you sighed. "I just yell when I get annoyed like that," you replied.

"Oh, alright," Koganei replied. "Hey, (Last Name)-chan?"

"Hm?"

"If you like someone, how would you tell them?" Koganei questioned out of nowhere.

"H-Huh!?" You exclaimed.

"Well, you see, I like this person and I don't know how to tell her," Koganei replied, fidgeting with his fingers.

"Uh, well, I was going to ask you the same thing, because I grew to like someone," you stated.

"S-So how would you confess to him?" Koganei asked.

"Well, I don't know," you shrugged. "I'm scared that if I get rejected, I wouldn't know what to do. I like him a lot."

"I guess we're the sam, then," Koganei stated.

"When did you start liking this girl?" You questioned.

"Since I saw her. And you?"

"After a few days of hanging out with him, I grew to like- no, love him," you answered.

"Wanna practice on each other?" Koganei asked.

"H-Huh!?" You asked, totally shocked.

"Please say yes," Koganei pleaded in his head.

"S-Sure," you replied, blushing. "You go first. What would you do?"

"I've got her!" Koganei cheered in his head.

"Well, the first thing I'd probably do, is hug her...," Koganei started.

You were pulled into his chest and you blushed fifty shades of red.

"... Then, I'd whisper in her ear and say what I'm meant to say, which is..."

"I'm heart is beating so fast and I'm blushing too much!" You exclaimed as you felt your face heat up more.

"... 'I love you'..."

"Choco!"

"... Then I'd pull back..."

He did so, and suddenly pecked your lips.

"... And peck her lips," he finished.

"Oh, man, I hope that she has feelings for me. I'm gonna feel like an idiot if she doesn't. After what I did..."

"Goddamn, he kissed me!" You screamed mentally and covered your blushing face.

"Uh, (Last Name)-chan, are you okay?" Koganei questioned worriedly.

"Y-Yeah, I-I'm fine! N-No need to worry!" You replied, still covering your blushing face.

"Are you guys done? I've been waiting here for a while," the young man said, walking closer to the two of you.

"Y-Yeah, don't worry, we're done," you said as your face returned to its normal color.

"Here. The cat," the young man said, handing the cat carefully to you.

"Uh, thanks," you smiled.

An hour later...

You placed the cat next to the other and they started playing together. You named the other cat 'Biscuit', since her color was orangey-brown.

After that, you grabbed your coat and walked towards the door.

"Where're you going?" Your mom asked and you flinched.

"O-Oh, I've gotta meet up with someone," you answered.

"But it's nearly 6:30pm," your mom stated.

"Uh, I'll be back before 9pm?" You replied, unsure.

"A date, perhaps~?" Your mom smirked.

"Mom," you groaned.

"I'm just kidding! Just be safe," your mom replied. "Be here 9pm sharp, alright?"

"Yeah. Bye~."

"Take care," your mom smiled and you left the house.

As you were walking down the path, you check your message again.

Choco
Subject: Park

(Last Name)-chan, I need you to come to the park near the school. At 6:30pm, if your fine with it.

Reply back if you're coming.

"The park near the school...," you said mentally as you texted back, saying that you were coming soon.

After a while...

You finally made it to the park and saw someone on the swings.

"Choco?" You called and the figure quickly flinched as it stood up.

"(L-Last Name)."

"Why'd you call me out here?" You questioned.

"Uh, I wanted to tell you something," he said, fidgeting with his fingers again.

"Is it about the person you love?" You asked.

"There's really no point in hiding it anymore. (Last Name)-chan, I love you. You're the one I had my eyes on since I met you," Koganei confessed, looking at the ground as a light shade of red tinted his cheeks.

Your eyes widened, "Choco..."

"Look, you don't have to accept my feelings for you. I'll be fine. Anyway-."

"Yes."

"What?"

"Yes. I love you, too," you replied with a smile.

"Phew, I'm glad that kiss I gave you in the pet store wasn't for noting!" Koganei sighed in relief.

"Hey, it's only 6:30pm. Do you wanna go somewhere?" You questioned.

"Nah. I'll just stay at the park," Koganei replied.

You nodded and sat on the swing, while Koganei at on the other. You looked up and stared at the beautiful sky tonight.

"Hey, Choco," you called.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"Come here for a second. I wanna give you something," you said.

You and Koganei stood up and walked over to each other. While he walked towards you, a random black cat walked by and Koganei tripped over it.

The cat hissed at him and ran off.

Koganei fell on top of you, but luckily, his fall wasn't that hard, since he stopped it. Although, you felt something soft on your lips.

"Is-Is this...? Is this...?!"

"I'm sorry, (Last Name)-chan!" Koganei cried out, quickly getting off you and helped you up.

"He kissed me before, but that was nothing. It lasted longer this time," you said, blushing furiously.

You looked Koganei and saw that he was blushing madly. His whole face was burning up.

"I'm so sorry!" He repeated. "Th-The black cat tripped me!" He explained.

"Whenever a black walks past you or something like that, doesn't it bring you bad luck? But this time, I don't think it is," you stated mentally.

"It's alright. I was just caught by surprise," you replied, still blushing.

"W-Well, uhm...," Koganei started.

"What do I do now? The cat wasn't part of the plan. Mitobe, what did you say to do?" Koganei asked mentally.

"Yeah?"

"Wanna go on a... Date?" Koganei asked.

"He said no before, but now he's asking again. What's he planning?" You asked youself.

"Sure, but I have to get home before 9pm," you said.

"So that's a yes?"

"Yeah."

The two of you walked into town and didn't really know what to do. You've never been on a date and neither had Koganei.

"Now, if this is right, Mitobe 'said' that eating dinner is what people usually do on dates," Koganei stated mentally.

"(Last Name)-chan, wanna eat dinner?" Koganei suggested.

"Can we go to (Favorite Restaurant)?"

You both went to (Favorite Restaurant) and after that, you went somewhere else and went back to the park.

You both laid down on the grass and watched the stars (A/N: omg, I always put that).

"So, is it official?" Koganei questioned.

"Eh?" You asked.

"We're in a relationship," Koganei smiled at you.

"Yeah," you answered. "And there's another thing my mom'll teased me about," you muttered.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"(Last Name)-chan, I love you," Koganei smiled a t you.

"I love you, too," you smiled back.

Extended ending...

While laying down, you and Koganei heard the sound of cats meowing angrily, someone screaming for help and someone laughing his head off.

You both sat up and looked behind you. It was Midorima bringing chased by a bunch of cats, screaming for help from the other male, while Takao videos it, laughing his head off.

"TAKAO, HELP ME!!"

"But, Shin-chan, I wanna send it to the team! It's too funny!" Takao laughed, running free the green head and records it.

"TAKA- AH!" Midorima screamed as a cat caught his leg. "TAKAO!"

"Nope~. It's too funny~."

"I'LL GET YOU BACK LATER!"

"Good luck with that, Shin-chan~," Takao replied mockingly.

Behind the scenes:

"Wanna practice on each other?" Koganei asked.

"H-Huh!?" You asked, totally shocked.

"Please say yes," Koganei pleaded in his head.

"S-Sure," you replied, blushing.

"I said to say 'yes'!!" Koganei exclaimed in his head.

Extended ending no. 2...

"I found out something~!" your mom exclaimed, coming into your room.

"When you come in, at least knock, mom, and what?" You asked.

"You and Koganei-kun are dating!" She exclaimed happily.

"H-How did you find out?" You asked.

"So it is true! Well, his mom texted me and told me!"

"How did she know?"

"She said that she had ways of finding out things," your mom replied.

"Tsk."

"Yay, another relationship in the family!" Your mom cheered.

"Honestly, mom, you're like a kid," you stated, diverting your eyes back to your work.

"So mean," your mom pouted.
