Kiyoshi Teppei
"I am so dead.."
You miserably ran your fingers through your hair, pulling at the roots as you continued groaning aloud. You couldn't believe it.
You screwed up.
You failed your Biology Final Exam and now you had to retake it this summer. You would spend every single minute you'd have on studying and you would surely miss out on your life.
You were a failure and you didn't even know how to tell that to your parents---especially to your kind father who had high expectations from you. He even helped you study for the past few weeks and been giving you too much encouragement and moral support.
How on Earth did you possibly fail that test?
"[Name]-chan? Are you there?" You heard your kind father's voice coming from the other side of your door.
You panicked, quickly hiding your testpapers inside a drawer. Then you composed yourself, fixing your hair and wiping away the miserable look on your face. "Yes, Dad. The door is open, come in."
Kiyoshi Teppei waited for a few seconds before pushing the door open. His giant stature came into view, instantly giving you one of his gentle smiles the minute your gazes met. He walked closer, sitting down at the edge of your bed.
"Hi, Dad," you greeted with a sly smile, nervously fiddling with your fingers above your lap.
"I noticed you were kind of down and silent earlier during dinner. What is wrong, [Name]-chan?" he asked softly yet seriously, giving you a worried look. "Do you have a problem?"
You bit the insides of your lower lip then looked down to hide the tears welling up in your eyes. "I-I'm sorry, Dad. I tried my best, I didn't want to disappoint you.. But I still failed the exam. I'm so sorry for letting you down..."
Your kind father stared at you for a minute with those gentle eyes of his before smiling softly. He placed one large hand on top of your head, ruffling your [Hair Color] locks. "That's okay, [Name]-chan. Stop crying."
You wiped your tears away then sniffed like a little child, raising your head to study his expression. "You're not mad?"
"I know you did your best. I'm your father, I know you more than anyone else does." Then his smile widened. "And besides, there's a retake, right? I'm sure you can pass it this time."
You remained idle for a good minute, thinking how it was so much easier to tell the truth to your father that you failed than to keep quiet and lie like what you did during supper. Your Mom had been asking you how your exam went and all you did was smile and tell them it was fine. You were never good with lying, so it was very difficult keeping the truth from them.
"W-What if I fail the retake, Dad?" you tried asking in a shaky voice, regretting to ever ask such a stupid question. It only sounded like you were planning on failing that damn exam again.
Oh, how stupid of you.
Kiyoshi blinked his eyes a couple of times, looking at you as if your hair had mysteriously turned red with unmistakably black highlights on the tips. "You almost sounded like your Uncle Kagami! Your mother will kill us, [Name]-chan."
You couldn't help but chortle at his reaction. Then after a few moments, you cringed in fear at the image of a furious Aida Riko scolding you for failing your exam the second time. "I wasn't joking, I was asking you seriously. But it doesn't matter, I won't let you down again---you and Mom. I promise."
"Well, if you fail this one again, I'll take necessary measures and ground you."
"You'll do that?"
He sighed, petting your hair once more. "I don't want to. The last thing I want is to see you upset, [Name]-chan. But I have no choice, it's called discipline. You need to take your studies more seriously, okay? That's for your future."
You didn't say a word again and only nodded your head with a warm smile. If there was one thing you'd learned from your father, it's to never give up in achieving your goals. No matter how rough the road was ahead of you, you'd surely manage to get through because you knew he'd be there guiding you along the way.
"Hey. I know what will cheer you up," he suddenly told you with a huge smile on his face, "Want some [Favorite Flavor] ice cream?"
You perked up. "Really?"
"Of course. But first, let's go talk to your mother about this. She's worried too, [Name]-chan."
You sighed, nodding your head once again. "Okay, Dad. But what if she gets mad at me?"
"Your Mommy Riko loves you as much as I do so don't worry, I'm sure she'll understand," he assured. But then after a few seconds, he frowned and added, "You have to prepare yourself though. She might tutor you herself just to make sure you won't slack off."
At that, your jaw dropped upon seeing your dear life flashed before your eyes.
You are so dead.

Takao Kazunari
Sh. Hush. Shush.
Tiptoeing your way down the stairs wasn't an easy task, especially when it was dark and the only light available was the one coming from your phone's screen. However, for your boyfriend, you were willing to go through such lengths.
Since final exams were approaching, your father strictly prohibited you from going out on dates, or even parties with friends. Your grades were pretty bad so he knew he had to take necessary measures. Your father was a fun person, but this was one of those times where he wasn't smiling.
Your phone buzzed and you nearly dropped it in surprise if you hadn't secured it with both hands. Sighing in relief, you checked the message:
"[First Name]? This is Midorima. Dad fucking confiscated my phone. Where are you? I'm already outside your front door."
"Oh my gosh," you mumbled as you hurriedly took the remaining last steps. It was a good thing your parents went to bed early or else this "sneaking out business" would've been futile.
You could never escape Takao Kazunari's hawk eye.
Just as you were about to head to the door, however, you heard somebody clear their throat. Judging from the sound, it came from the direction of the window.
Was that...?
"I can see Midorima-kun clearly from here. Are you two going out on a date, [First Name]-chan?"
Damn it! Internally screaming in utter frustration, you nervously turned to your father. He was sitting on the windowsill and he looked like he had been waiting for you all this time. "Dad. U-Umm, you see.. I-I was just..."
Takao folded his arms over to his chest then heaved a very deep sigh. He knew everything about you--including your mischiefs--that's why he had easily figured out you were planning something tonight from your odd behavior during supper. So even before you got done preparing yourself for your date, he was already downstairs waiting for you to come down. "If you think you can escape from my sight, you've got another thing coming, [First Name]-chan."
"I-I was just going out for a walk," you lied. But with the dim light coming from the moon outside, you saw your father raise a sceptical brow. So you added, "With Midorima-kun."
"So you were going out for a walk in the middle of the night in your boots and miniskirt?"
You bit your lower lip then hung your head low, embarrassed by your own stupid lie. There was no fooling your father. "I'm so sorry, Dad. The truth is Midorima-kun asked me out on a date and I was too shy to say no."
Takao had a hint of a smile on his face when he stood up then walked towards you. He gently patted the top of your head. "Don't do this again, okay?"
You slowly nodded. "I promise."
"Now," he started, marching angrily towards the direction of the door. "What to do with this pesky brat..."
"W-Wait.. Dad!" You ran after him, trying to calm him down. He usually liked it when your boyfriend came over to your house, but the situation was completely different now. And by the looks of it, Mr. Takao Kazunari was about to blow a gasket or something.
Takao promptly opened the door, surprising the green-haired boy who was waiting impatiently outside upon seeing that it wasn't what he was expecting. Trying to fight the nervousness--and fear--that settled in his guts, your poor boyfriend gaped at you and your father. He tried to remain calm as he bowed his head politely, finally able to recover from the fact that he was found out. You were found out.
Busted. He was dead, alright.
"Midorima-kun," Takao spoke in a surprisingly calm voice despite looking so terrifying. "Good evening."
"G-Good evening, Takao-san," the boy stuttered, giving you a quick glance. You threw him an apologetic yet sympathetic look. You didn't know what was going to happen to him since you had no idea what your father was thinking at the moment.
Takao knew from the very first time he met Midorima Shintaro's son that he was going to be utterly different from his father. The look in the boy's eyes was too naughty. No matter how you look at it, he was the complete opposite of his father. Wild, perky, and normal enough not to add 'nanodayo' to his sentences or carry lucky items around.
Fishing his phone out of his pocket, Takao dialed a number. After the second ring, his call was finally answered by a grumpy Midorima Shintaro whose peaceful slumber was disturbed. "Shin-chan, can you pick Midorima-kun up from my house right now?"
"What are you talking about? My son is in his room, studying-nanodayo."
Your father gave the phone to the reluctant boy, signalling him to speak up. "H-Hey, Dad..."
On the other line, Midorima Shintaro bolted upright upon hearing his son's voice, waking up his wife. "WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING THERE, YOU BRAT?!!"
Takao secretly smirked. Even he could hear his friend's rage.

Hanamiya Makoto
Because your father was a notorious "bad boy", almost everyone around was afraid to mess with you. No one ever had the guts to bully or fuck you up because they're afraid of what the Hanamiya Makoto would do to them if they were ever to make you cry. Frankly, it was really cool. You felt like the safest person in the world.
Well, in a weird way.
It was after school when you got a text from your sweet father saying that he'd come to pick you up in ten minutes because he finished his paperworks in the office pretty early. You hurriedly ran out of the building and waited for him outside the gate, not wanting him to be the one waiting for you since you knew very well how he would get rather cranky whenever female students start to stare at him from head to foot.
Oh and yeah, from his thick brows to his sexy ass.
Pft.
Hanamiya Makoto may be a tad older now but he definitely looked like he didn't age at all.
"What's taking him so long?" you murmured as you glanced at the time, turning your head from left to right. There was still no sign of your daddy eyebrows.
"Hey babe," a familiar voice suddenly came up from behind you.
Groaning inwardly, you turned to look at [Non-KNB Sexy Jerk]. He was your ex-boyfriend, you broke up with him months ago when you saw him shamelessly flirting with [Non-KNB Ugly Bitch].
"What do you want?" you asked drily, completely uninterested in him or in what he had to say.
He nervelessly snaked his arm around your shoulders and pulled you into his lean body. Then he smirked, tightening his grip. "I miss you. Can we talk?"
You grimaced at the sudden touch and closeness, quickly pulling away. "Eww. Back off, [Non-KNB Sexy Jerk]!"
"Oh, come on. I know you miss me too," he insisted with a grin, grabbing your upper arm and yanking you closer to him once again.
"You are crazy to even think about that! Don't touch me!" you protested, struggling against his hold.
"We'll just talk, babe."
"Let me go! Leave me alone!" you practically screamed, hoping to get some aide from your fellow students around. But none seemed to care since [Non-KNB Sexy Jerk] was giving a menacing glare to those who would try to get near you.
"Come on, we won't take long. I know you still love me, ba---"
"When my daughter says let her go, let her go!"
Upon hearing that voice, your jerk of an ex-boyfriend froze up in fear while you evidently let out a sigh of relief. If it's being a jerk we're talking about, your father owned the title of being the most notorious one.
Well, before he married your wonderful mother, that is.
"Do we have a problem here?" Hanamiya asked in a threatening tone, hands inside the pocket of his pants.
Seeing his life flashed before his eyes, [Non-KNB Sexy Jerk] let you go then hurriedly moved away. Far, far away. "N-No, sir! I-I'm s-so-sorry sir," he sputtered before scrambling away, unsteady on his feet.
You fought the urge to laugh as you watched the poor idiot ran for his life. After another few seconds, you fixed yourself then made your way closer to your father. "Thanks, Dad."
Hanamiya immediately examined you, checking for any reasonable reason for him to murder your ex-boyfriend. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
You nodded your head and smiled. "I'm fine, don't worry."
He released a heavy sigh, as if in relief, then looked at you intently. "What's his name? Is he the one who cheated on you before?"
You rolled your eyes upon remembering what the jerk said to you. "Yeah, he wants me back but I don't even want to see his face. Ew."
"Good. Just tell me if he ever forces his shitty self on you again," he started as you both began to walk to where his car was parked, "I'll teach him a lesson."
"After seeing your face just now, I doubt he'll ever show himself up to me again." You cackled a laugh, hugging your father's arm. "You're the scariest ever, Dad."
He raised a thick brow, glancing at you through his shoulder. "Are you scared of me?"
"I'm not," you replied quickly. "I mean, not in that way. I know you will never hurt me."
"Never, [Name]." He gently smiled then placed a little kiss on the top of your head. "You're my daughter. I love you so much."
"I love you too, Dad."
