~Ch 8~ Return. Part 1
1 year later....
Mysterious POV:
"Milady, we have arrived at our destination." A handsome black haired man bowed, his aura just screamed 'perfect butler' and 'I wouldn't want to be in your shoes if you made this guy angry'
A mature yet childish looking girl with long black hair, bangs covering her left eye. Her right eye bright cherry pink red. She calmly closed her rather fat book with one hand. "You forgot your bookmark mistress." The 'mistress' set her book aside, "You know as well as I do that I have no need for something I can memorize easily."
"Of course, my apologies."
The elegant girl leaned against the sides of her personal airplane. A familiar sight of the rather interesting country Japan entered her view.
She smiled mysteriously, "Its been a while, Japan, but don't worry, I'll spice things up for you real soon." She murmured. 'Sate, time to go.' "I'll be going now Claude."
"..." I smiled as I put a backpack that was under my seat on. "Is their something wrong, loyal butler?"
"We are still many, many feets in the air, Mistress." "I'm well aware of that."
Claude sighed, "You will always be a strange one, Mistress." I smirked slightly as I opened the plane door, greeted by a blast of hot wind.
"And aren't I interesting that way?" I saluted as I fell backwards into the open sky. I did a couple of acrobatics. A piece of advice for any of you that will do skydiving, you have to do acrobatics. Or you will miss out on a lot.
I could make out towns and streets now, I suppose that cue. I pulled my backpack strings, and my it suddenly turned into a hang glider. I flew towards a very large building with a certain symbol, my company's symbol.
I landed on top of the helicopter landing station. Pulled the strings as the hang glider turned back into a backpack. I flipped my bangs back into place guarding my left eye, as I stared at the town before me. "Ne, Claude?" "Yes, mistress?" Claude was instantly by my side.
Don't ask. I never asked how he could suddenly appear. And to be honest, I'm not sure if I want to know.
"Whats the nearest high school here?" The wind started to pick up. "I believe its Seirin." 'That new school? I remember reading about it...'
"I believe you have all the necessary information I requested?" "Of course mistress."
He handed me a pack of about 200 pieces of paper.
Took 2 minutes to finish reading.
I put the papers down as I went inside the giant building. In the boss's office I sat, my office. I sighed as I re-read it then set it aside.
'Ma, I expected something like this to happen, GoM splitting up was predicted. But...this report about the GoM current state....it disturbs me.' "Mistress, I thought you should know that-"
"The practice match between Kaijo and Serin is happening in one hour. I am aware of that." Claude bowed, "Of course, as expected from you."
I spun on my chair as I faced the large windows. "Please state the current advents, in more detail." I won't lie, whoever created that report was definitely too tired to write in detail. I wonder what pain that person had to go through to get personal info from the GoM, I wouldn't be surprised if he was exposed on day 1. And to think he even had to stock Akashi.... Poor poor soul.
"Akashi Seijuro is currently, as expected. The captain of the current leading school, Rakuzen. Murasakibara Atsushi is attending Yosen. Nothing extreme or anything you need to concern yourself with is happening Milady. Aomine Daiki is attending Tōō with his childhood friend Momoi Satsuki. Besides massive amounts of skipping school and basketball practice and maybe a few injures from Momoi Satsuki, nothing extreme. However, he seems to be yearning for a rival and is at a rebellious stage."
Aomine? Rebellious? He's always been rebellious....oh dear, if Claude is saying that he's rebellious....
"Midorima Shintaro. Currently attending Shutoku. He seems to have upgraded his shooting to full court now, but it seems slightly unstable, he has also made a 'friendship' with a worth-mentioning skillful basketball player, Takao Kazunari. Who also has the hawk eye."
Heh... I should 'meet' him if I happen to have any spare time.
"Kise Ryota. Attending Kaijo. His copying skills have certainly improved. However, the only reason he joined Kaijo was because, of course like the other miracles, because of its excellent basketball standards. And because he happened to like how it sounded with his name. Kise of Kaijo.
'Heh...Heh...Heh...' I thought while slightly deadpanning. I closed my eyes and leaned back on my chair. "And? What about my dear 'twin brother' Kuroko?"
"Kuroko Tetsuya. You, of course, are more concerned about him. He is currently attending a new found school Serin. Their basketball skills aren't very well known or at high standards. However, I still believe that they are what they call, a certain diamond in the rock."
...
"However, I discovered something quite interesting..."
I opened one eye.
"It seems Kuroko-san has found a new light. His name is Kagami Taiga, from America. Trained under Alexandra Garcia, the former pro, and his training partner was Himuro Tatsuya."
Kagami Taiga...Himuro Tatsuya... "Weren't those the kids my age that always shown up at one of our public parks. I believe I saw them once on my daily checkups."
"Yes, I believe that it was them."
I leaned deeper into my chair, "Hmm.. They did have potential, however I never predicted for them to be in this game. Any special skills of Kagami Taiga?"
"Yes, he has quite a impressive jumping ability. But it still needs to be developed. He currently has no chance in a aerial battle with Kuroko-san's previous light. However, he is does, certainly, have the Miracles aura. Hard to detect. But its there. And it seems Kuroko-san knows it."
Heh...
I spun my chair back around. Claude already seems to set a chessboard. "When will Marui be arriving?" "Right now, actually."
"Saa... I suppose I'll take Marui-kun to see Kaijo and Serin's practice match. I'm sure he'll enjoy it." "I fully agree, Mistress. The young Master always seems to have a love for basketball. And talent for it to."
Of course. Marui has become quite a prodigy...in pretty much everything. He also had quite growth spurt, he could be considered as a middle schooler. However, he has the brain of a highschooler. He's also quite popular at school considering he brought quite a number of love letter's and chocolates home.
"Nee-san~ If we are going to go to Kaijo and Serin's match we should hurry." A childish yet elegant voice broke in. I looked at the door to see dear Marui. I'm not even going to ask him how he got their without my notice, its at time like these that I wonder if I should have let him learn ninjutsu.
Marui dyed his hair greenish black with his previous bright blond hair showing at the tips (pic above). He walked up to my table as Claude bowed and greeted him. He moved a chess piece. "Ara ara, are you that interested in my teammates?" I asked with a light teasing voice and a smile. Seems like Tetsuna is still in me. Marui smiled, "Of course, I have to come to know my enemies who are competing against me for my sister attention." He moved another chess piece.
I smiled with my eyes closed but inside, I admit I was sweatdropping.
You could say over this past year, Marui might have gotten a little close to me? And he might have gotten slightly. . . . . . possessive?
I stood up and stretched. "Ma, we probably don't need to disguise ourselves. All we need are some-" "Vanilla milkshakes?" Marui intruppted as he held up two vanilla milkshakes.
I took one and took his hand and started heading out. "I'll be back before my meeting with the Sorenji Corps Claude."
Marui's POV:
We were walking while drinking our milkshakes. About 12.34 minutes before we arrive at Kaijo (prodigy) I peeked a glance over at my sister who was examining her notes for her next meeting.
"Ne, nee-san, how come you never give me any work. I'm sure I'll finish it perfectly. After all you taught me-" I was caught off as Nee-san patted my hair gently, "I know, I know, you are a prodigy after all. However, you are still a child, and I want your childhood to be full of fun."
"Stop sounding like your an old granny."
"Ma~ Can't help it, your too cute, little brother."
I blushed slightly, it was then I noticed that some people (males) were staring at my sister. Of course they are. After all she is beautiful. And I certainly did not enjoy those stares. I took her hand and dragged her to the nearest clothes shop. "Nee-san, I think we need disguises after all."
'And I certainly don't want any of Nee-san's former teammates to know how she really looks like.' I thought, (and maybe slightly jealously.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In case most of you noticed. Yes, Marui looks like Echizen Ryoma from the anime Prince of Tennis. This chapter was probably slightly boring, since the story isn't progressing very far.
I not certain when the next chapter will be, I have a french project that takes up lots of my time.
Anyway, who knows? By the way, who likes Marui? I thought there should be a slightly possessive protective brother in the story.
