Volume 1: Episode 6: We Are The C.S.D

Previously on Transformers: War for Selenus...

Within the kingdom city of Rad, battle ensued.

A horde of Olga's monsters, paired with a group of the newly uncovered Insecticons warriors, had attacked the city. The orcs and imps plundered, raped, and pillaged where they could, while the Insecticons laid waste to Rad's defenders.

Led by the Insecticon General, Hardshell, the Insecticons set out to capture the Shield Princess of Rad, Maia the Mercenary Queen. The intent of doing so, in the name of their Queen, Misery Strengem, heir to the Dark elf throne.

It seemed victory was near for the invading forces, but with unexpected arrival of The Decepticons, Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, and Sixshot, it now seemed that Rad had a surviving chance.

Now, with Soundwave and his mini-cons clearing the monstrous horde of Olga Discordia, Sixshot takes the attacking Insecticons head on. Their undivided attention directed towards him.

Now...

The Insecticons flew their way towards Sixshot ad he took his stance, the ex-phase sixer narrowing his eyes at them.

"It's show time." Sixshot said as he lunged towards the oncoming swarm, more than ready to clash his sword with Insecticon claws. More than ready to soak the dirt with the spilt Energon of his enemies.

Eostia, Rad_

Soundwave had just cut down another orc with his plasma chainsaw, before twirling around to dodge an attack from an orc that came up from behind. Soundwave then promptly pulled out his concussion blaster and shot the orc, point-blank in the head.

Ravage was finishing up clawing an orc's throat out, his fangs and claws covered in its blood. Once the orc was dead, Ravage pounced away from the body, charging at another orc as said orc charged at him.

The orc wielded a crudely spikes club, swinging down at Ravage in an attempt to strike him. However Ravage moved out of the way, charging up the blasters on his hind legs and firing upon the orc, littering the brutish creature with smoking holes as it fell down dead.

Two orcs were left from the group that Soundwave and Ravage encountered. They watched as the two Decepticons slowly walked towards them with killer intent.

Now, the thing about orcs was that they barely ever backed down from a fight, charging towards their enemies blindly. Never caring if they would die or not. But when what should be noted, was that it had been quite a short amount of time since these orcs and the rest of their now deceased group had come across Soundwave and Ravage, and it didn't take long for the two Decepticons to cut them down. Far quicker than any had ever done to that if their species. Not to mention that Soundwave was nearly as large as them, added with the fact that he and Ravage were made of a very strong metal, just like the Insecticons. The two remaining orcs were more than fine to admit that they held fear towards the two approaching Decepticons.

The two orcs tried to flee away from Soundwave and Ravge, running as fast as they could as the two Decepticons continued to walk forward.

"Awe. It's cute that they think they can run." Ravage commented to Soundwave as they watched the two orcs flee.

Soundwave added nothing to Ravage's comment as he merely activated his internal targeting system, locking onto the two fleeing orcs.

Soundwave's chest opened up, and from there, two small missiles popped up from within.

"Targets acquired." Soundwave said before the tow small missiles shot out from his chest, being powered by small thrusters and leaving a small trail of smoke upon path of flight.

The orcs continued in their retreat, but theirs ears perked up when they heard a faint whirring noise coming closer and closer to them. The orcs turned their heads just in time to see the oncoming missiles. And I'm just that moment the orcs were no more, gone from the world, taken out with a bang.

Soundwave and Ravage watched as the missiles hit their intended targets, the orcs being obliterated in a small explosion that also took out a bit of some of the nearby buildings, shattering windows and destroyed the fronts of a few homesteads.

Ravage sniffed the area around him and Soundwave, narrowing his eyes a bit. "Smells like the explosion attracted the attention of more of these monsters, even some of the small ones. Though I kind of wish I couldn't smell any of them. They smell worse than burnt rubber."

Soundwave could confirm that more orcs and imps were headed their way, being able to hear the monsters' growls, roars, and other boisterous noises and speech that they let out from their mouths. It would be safe to say that no creature such as these would be all that great in stealth, especially with how loud they were.

Putting two fingers to the side of his head, activating comms, Soundwave spoke to his other two mini-cons.

"Laserbeak. Buzzsaw. status report." Soundwave inquired to his two flying mini-cons.

——————————————————————
——————————————————————

"Everything's going smooth up here." Buzzsaw replied back to Soundwave as he fired down upon a pack of orcs and imps with Laserbeak.

"Thus far, these brutish creatures haven't proved much of a threat to us." Laserbeak added as he blasted a few holes into an orc and a few imps as he flew over head. "What's the human term? It's like shooting fish in a barrel."

"It's not so difficult when you're shooting down at these ugly things from the sky." Ravage spoke to Laserbeak from the comm channel. "Dumb as they are, those big green ones are stronger than most organics. They're a real pain in the aft. I have to keep my distance with the big ones unless I want to find out if they have enough strength to tear me in two. And I don't want to go through that again."

"Then I guess me and Buzzsaw will just have to shoot down the big ones while you get the small red ones with the horns." Laserbeak said as he fired down on another orc.

"As easy as it is to kill most organics, the green ones down in the city have a bit of a tough hide." Buzzsaw informed Ravage and Soundwave. "It takes a few shots for me to take them out of the fight."

"That makes one of us." Laserbeak commented to the yellow-clad condor mini-con.

"Well, that's because out of the four of us, I have the lowest firepower." Buzzsaw retorted back as he fired upon some imps, killing them quickly. "I'm more suited to blasting holes into those red ones."

"What is the status in regards to the Insecticons?" Soundwave asked Buzzsaw and Laserbeak through the com link.

"We've been keeping a low profile with them right now." Buzzsaw answered Soundwave. "We've been to focusing our attention on the monsters down below before we attack the ones in the sky."

"Not to mention we're still outnumbered by those mechanical nightmares." Laserbeak added as he fired down on some more unsuspecting orcs. "I for one don't want to get one of those Insecticons angry without forming a proper strategy first."

"Acknowledged." Soundwave said to his two airborne mini-cons. "Continue with your current objective. Ravage and I will thoroughly advance around the city and eliminate any hidden enemies that have taken to any narrow alleyways, or have entered into any buildings."

"Understood." Laserbeak said as Buzzsaw fired down on some imps. "I'd say we're about a quarter way through with clearing out this sector of the city. We'll move further towards the center once we're done here. That seems to be where most of these green and red monsters are headed towards."

"Speaking of eliminating targets. Has anyone heard from Sixshot yet?" Buzzsaw asked. "I'd figure there would be more commotion going on at this time, with him out and abo—."

"INSECTICONS ATTACK!" Hardshell has cried out into the air.

"Huh?" Laserbeak questioned as he looked more towards the center of Rad, trying to isolate who let out the war cry.

However, in doing so, he failed to notice that a few Insecticons started to head their way, prompting Buzzsaw to widen his optics.

"Laserbeak, dive now!" Buzzsaw said to his flying comrade as he dove more towards to the ground.

Laserbeak quickly turned his head around to see what Buzzsaw meant by he words. He spotted five Insecticons heading their way, and heading their way fast. Widening his optics, he followed suit of Buzzsaw, barely avoiding the oncoming Insecticons.

"Thanks for the warning." Laserbeak said to Buzzsaw as the two mini-cons watched the Insecticons fly overhead of them.

——————————————————————
——————————————————————

"I heard the rallying cry for the Insecticons. What is the status of your current situation?" Soundwave asked his flying mini-cons through comms as he and Ravage continued to slice, tear through, and gun down a group composing of twenty orcs and ten imps.

"Narrowly avoided getting run through in the air." Laserbeak answered Soundwave. "Looks like all the Insecticons are headed more towards the city's center."

Ravage tore off the head of an imp, spitting it out as he looked towards Soundwave. "Looks like something or someone got the attention of all those Insecticons."

Soundwave nodded in agreement with Ravage before firing his concussion blaster at three oncoming orcs. "Laserbeak. Operation: Surveillance."

——————————————————————
——————————————————————

Doing as he was ordered to, Laserbeak took higher up to the skies while Buzzsaw maintained concentrated fire upon the orcs and imps.

Looking directly at the area where all of the Insecticons were flying towards, he activated his hidden camera top his head, zooming in to see that the Insecticons were heading straight for a large courtyard. He zoomed in further to see that the Insecticons started to engage in battle against Sixshot, who charged right at the flying, mechanical monstrosities.

"I've got sight of their objective. They're all heading towards Sixshot." Laserbeak informed Soundwave.

——————————————————————
——————————————————————

"Looks like he's taking the Insecticons head on." Laserbeak added to Soundwave through comms.

Ravage had just finished blasting at a fallen orc before looking towards Soundwave. "Think Sixshot can handle all those Insecticons by himself? Their armature didn't exactly look to be the easiest to pierce through."

"Agreed." Soundwave said to Ravage as he went back to the comms channel. "Laserbeak, what is Sixshot's location?"

"Looks to be some courtyard near the center of the city. Sending you exact coordinates now." Laserbeak answered over comms.

Soundwave's red visor soon blinked white before returning to its original color. Having now received Sixshot's coordinates, relayed back to Laserbeak and Buzzsaw.

"As stated, continue with your objectives. Ravage and I will now go to assist Sixshot. With any luck, eliminating the Insecticon threat will prompt these narrow-minded creatures to retreat out of fear."

"Copy that." Laserbeak answered.

"You can count on us." Buzzsaw answered as well before comms were shut off.

Ravage slowly walked over to Soundwave, an imp running at him from behind in an attempt to kill the black mini-con. However very this proved it be fruitless as Ravage, without looking behind him, whipped his tail back and shot the pronged end of it into the imp's throat, killing it.

"So, what's the plan?" Ravage asked Soundwave as he flung the dead imp corpse off from his tail. "We don't have the best numbers right now, and we can't exactly do full sweeps around the city and get to Sixshot in time to help him. That is, if he even needs our help."

"We cannot ascertain the complete capabilities of these Insecticons." Soundwave informed Ravage. "This is an alien world, and we have yet to fully grasp how it functions, both internally and externally. We cannot risk conflict induced damage without the proper resources for repair, of which we are currently lacking."

"I will not leave a comrade to chance in the midst of a battle. Wether Sixshot can properly engage the Insecticons or not, aiding him will serve us better." Soundwave fully explained to Ravage. "Besides, whatever the outcome, given Sixshot's mannerisms with fighting, he won't call for backup."

Soundwave and Ravage looked to see a few more orcs and imps stumble upon the two Decepticons, though unlike their previous brethren who charged towards them, this small group became hesitant as all they saw were the dead bodies of fallen orcs and imps, littering the area. The only two beings standing alive amidst the dead bodies being that of Soundwave and Ravage.

"So, how are we going about in getting to Sixshot?" Ravage asked Soundwave as he looked towards the orcs and imps in front of them.

Soundwave looked towards the small group of monsters as well, forming a strategy within his mind. Glancing down at Ravage, Soundwave spoke.

"We'll have to maneuver ourselves as fast as possible, throughout this city. And eliminate any and all hostile targets that come into view."

With that, Soundwave transformed into his EDC armored vehicle mode, confusing the nearby orcs and imps.

"I drive. We shoot." Soundwave to Ravage.

Nodding, Ravage hopped onto Soundwave's vehicle mode, climbing onto the roof and taking a position right above Soundwave's windshield and below the rotating cannon that was situated atop Soundwave's vehicle mode, crouching as he hung onto the top of Soundwave.

Revving up his engines, Soundwave's tires started to turn before he quickly drove directly towards the orcs and imps that stood in front of them.

The orcs and imps were shocked at this, at first. But before they could try and run, Ravage started to fire on them, killing a few of the monsters. The orcs and imps were taken aback at how quick Ravage laid waste to their brethren, that they didn't notice the sound of Soundwave getting closer to them, until it was too late.

Soundwave drove straight into the orcs and imps, knocking the orcs out of the way with great force, while running over the remaining imps, crushing their bones and internal organs. Soundwave them turned his cannon around to face behind him and Ravage, firing upon the downed orcs who were trying to get up, all of them grunting or screaming in pain as they were riddled with Energon blaster holes.

From there, Soundwave continued to drive as quickly as possible through the streets of Rad, he and Ravage gunning down any orc or imp they saw on their way to the courtyard.

From the hiding spot Maia had taken with Brea, Maria, Marigold, and Sarah, the women of the Rose Company watched as Sixshot took on the full force of the remaining twenty-three Insecticons.

Sixshot charged at the Insecticons, expertly dodging out of the way of blaster fire from the ones in their insect modes as he ran straight into the fray.

The first Insecticon he ran up to, Sixshot spun around left before bringing down one of his katanas upon the Insecticon's head, decapitating it as its headless body flew a bit more before crashing into the ground. When a second one flew towards Sixshot, the six-changer flipped over it, before firmly jabbing his two katanas into the Insecticons back. The Insecticon screamed in pain as Sixshot ran off of its body, dragging his blades through, Energon spilling as the Insecticon spiraled into the ground, its optics slowly fading.

Sixshot then charged at a third Insecticon as it charged at him. As it did so, Sixshot swerved to the left, slicing off the Insecticon's wing. The Insecticon screeched in pain before it transformed into his robot mode, charging at Sixshot with its claws sharp and ready.

Sixshot charged right back towards the Insecticon, clashing his blades with his claws, sparks flying as they did so. Sixshot quickly squatted and spun himself, sweeping his leg against the legs of the Insecticon warrior, knocking it down to the ground. Sixshot arose, ready to plunge his katana into the Insecticon, only for his blade to be blasted out of his hand.

Sixshot turned just in time to see an Insecticon fly towards him, knocking the six-changer away from his fellow Insecticon by using his horn to push up against Sixshot. The horn rammed into Sixshot's chest with a clang, pushing him back as his legs scrapped against the floor of the courtyard. Grunting, Sixshot grabbed onto the Insecticon's horn with his free hand, grasping it tightly to the point of crushing the horn. Sixshot then prompted to bash the handle of his other katana into the head of the Insecticon, halting it as it was slammed down onto the ground, from which Sixshot then proceeded to stab his katana into the Insecticon's head, killing it.

Sixshot then turned back towards the downed Insecticon, who's wing he had cut off, as it slowly got back up before screeching in rage at Sixshot.

Sixshot merely scoffed a bit, though smirking on the inside as he used his free hand to flex his fingers, beckoning the Insecticon towards him.

"Come at me, you razor tipped hunk of scrap metal." Sixshot taunted towards the Insecticon.

The Insecticon screeched once more before charging at Sixshot with great speeds, its feet stomping against the ground. It lunged at the six-changer, clashing its claws against Sixshot's katana. The Insecticon tried to claw at Sixshot's face, but all it did was send a few sparks flying off his head, his armor not being pierced by the Insecticon's claws.

Sixshot proceeded to bloke all of the Insecticon's strikes with his blade before ducking under one of its claws, and prompting bearing his katana through the Insecticon's leg. The Insecticon screeched in pain once more, but before it could fully react, Sixshot shot his fist through the Insecticon's body, Energon bursting from it's back as Sixshot now held the Insecticon's spark within his hand.

The Insecticon quietly grunted in pain as Sixshot reeled his fist back from the Insecticon's chest, bringing it's spark towards its face, wires still connecting the spark to the inner workings of the Insecticon.

"I'm willing to bet that you never thought that you'd ever see your own spark, with your optics." Sixshot said to the Insecticon before crushing the spark within his hand, Energon spilling and dripping from his palm.

The Insecticon gave a silent gasp before it's visor faded to black, tumbling over to the side, dead.

Back from within their hiding place, Maia and her girls continued to watch Sixshot take on the Insecticons without fear, and without lack of resolve.

"Damn. Just look at the guy go. Whatever he is." Marigold said with wide eyes as she saw Sixshot tear through the three Insecticons. "He's shredding those Hell bugs like they're nothing."

"I know. We couldn't even make a dent with our swords, and all the while those abominations kept killing us with those fire blasts." Sarah said with crossed arms, remembering the gruesome images of smoke bleeding through the eyes and mouths of those killed by the Insecticon's Energon blasts. "But this guy... it looks like his weapons and armor are a lot tougher than theirs."

Meanwhile, Maia was being bandaged up by Brea, who had used some cloth, that was on her person, to wrap around Maia's bleeding arm. Maia glanced at Sixshot, watching as he tore through the Insecticons. In some way, Sixshot reminded her of Volt, if only in how ferocious in battle Sixshot was. But there something else Maia saw within the six-phaser, as if the look Sixshot gave with his eyes was if he could take on the entire world by himself, without any army, and without any backup. In a way, it was awe-inspiring, yet also frightening at the same time.

"What'd he say his name was?" Sarah asked as she the others continued to watch the fight, from behind their cover.

"Sixshot." Maia said. "He said his name was Sixshot."

Back with said six-changer, Sixshot shook his hand a bit, flinging the Insecticon's Energon off as he pulled his katana from the leg of the dead Insecticon.

All in total, he had just killed five Insecticons, and from what Sixshot saw, there were twenty other Insecticons in total that still remained. Ten were currently busy in trying to deal with his wolf clones, combating them in their insect modes, some firing down from the air, while other tried to take the cybertronian wolves head on. The other ten, Hardshell included, were all in their robot modes, claws out and ready as they looked towards Sixshot, each one letting out low growls or flexing this claws.

"You are a formidable warrior, cybertronian, that much is certain." Hardshell said with a lowered growl as he pointed his finger towards Sixshot. "But it is now that you fall at the hands of my brothers and I."

Sixshot just let out a small chuckle as he walked over to pick up his other katana, bringing the blades back together to form the single katana he had at the beginning of this entire fight.

"I'll admit, I am a little impressed with the resilience you guys have." Sixshot said as he holstered his katana over his shoulder. "I came to this planet in the hopes of finding warriors, much like yourselves, to see if they could beat me in combat. Though given your numbers, right now, I doubt you'll all be enough to snuff me out."

Sixshot pointed a thumb to himself as he spoke to the Insecticons. "My armature is composed of metals drawn from the core of a black hole, not to mention the ununtrium coating I've got over them. My power core consists of a self-regenerating dark matter fission cell. All in all, that makes me an untiring, and unrelenting force of utter destruction." He boasted aloud.

"Now look at all of you. You've all got the same strength, speed, and intelligence, but only one of you has the skill to use all of those properly." Sixshot said as he pointed right at Hardshell. "Already, I've killed five of you, without getting much damage done to me at all. Even now I've got half of you on the ropes with my clones. So charge at me with the intent to kill, all you like. It won't help you any one bit. It took a Titan to nearly kill me, and even then, I still survived."

Sixshot lowered his hand before bringing his katana from off his shoulder, twirling it a bit before pointing it at all the Insecticons.

"Attack me one at a time, or come at me all at once." Sixshot said with narrowed eyes. "I'll take you all on, and still be the last one standing."

"You're a bold one, cybertronian." Hardshell growled out. "But your boasts hold no meaning here. Now we fight!"

Hardshell let out an Insecticon war screech, as his brethren followed suit.

The ten grounded Insecticons then charged at Sixshot, the six-changer doing nothing but holstering his katana at his side, crossing his arms as he awaited for the Insecticon to get close enough to him. If one could see it, Sixshot was smirking on the inside, already planning a few steps ahead of the against the Insecticon's straightforward battle strategy.

Just as the charging Insecticon's were just a few feet away from Sixshot, the six-changer proceeded to do several backflips before transforming into his armored carrier mode.

Revving up his screeching tires, Sixshot charged directly towards the oncoming Insecticons, slamming against them with his front bumper, the sounds of metal clanking against metal as he knocked the Insecticons back.

Meanwhile, Maia and her girls looked at Sixshot's vehicle mode with befuddlement. Each one having varying looks of confusion and curiosity.

"What did he just turn into?" Sarah asked with a raised brow.

"It has wheels... so it must some type of carriage."  Brea theorized with her own odd look. "I think."

"What kind of carriage goes that fast without any horses attached to it?" Maria asked Brea.

"I don't know. What kind of creature can turn into a wolf, a ninja, a flying contraption, and some form of carriage?" Brea retorted her question back towards Maria.

"Maybe he's some kind of golem?" Marigold suggested.

As they continued to question just exactly what Sixshot was, the six-changer had gotten past the charging Insecticons, all of them being scattered across the courtyard from his driving.

Sixshot then transformed back into his robot mode before quickly transforming into his laser pistol mode.

From that point, Sixshot proceeded to fire a concentrated Energon blast towards one of the Insecticons, reducing it to scrap as the Insecticon exploded from the shot, pieces of its remains flying towards like shrapnel.

The other Insecticons started to rise up to their feet as they roared and screeched at Sixshot.

Sixshot replied in kind by firing more Energon blasts at them in his laser pistol mode, nearly hitting a few of the Insecticons, blasting a few back, yet not killing them. The Insecticons overall had dodged his shots to the best of their abilities, all the while charging in the six-changer's direction.

Hardshell had transformed into his insect mode, speedily charging towards Sixshot in flight.

The Insecticon general had gotten too close, and Sixshot wasn't able to fire a powerful shot towards him in time. The six-changer transformed into his robot mode, trying to intercept Hardshell in time, but the Insecticon beat him to the punch, literally.

Hardshell had rammed his horn at Sixshot's chest, slamming him to the ground with a loud thud before transforming back into his robot mode, following down towards Sixshot before the six-changer could get back up, grabbing him by the head and repeatedly slammed Sixshot into the ground before spinning him around by the head, and tossing him back towards the direction where Maia and her girls hid.

Sixshot skidded against the ground a bit before pulling out his sword and stabbing it into the ground, tearing apart concrete and earth before he had finally halted himself, rising from a kneeling position.

With narrowed eyes, Sixshot chuckled. "Oh-ho-ho-ho! It's play time, now!"

Sixshot pulled his katana from the the ground and pulled out one of his twin blasters, aiming it at the Insecticons as they got ready for another attack formation.

However, everything and everyone was halted as the sound of screeching tires and blaster fire spread throughout the area.

Sixshot raised his optic in intrigue as he and everyone else looked to the left, looking towards an empty road that led from the courtyard to the left side of Rad, and vice-versa. Soon enough they saw and orc charging out from the street, however, this orc wasn't charging out of rage or in any form of attacking many. Rather, the orc was running for his life, looking back in fear as to see how far his pursers were behind him.

The orc's eyes widened when the vehicle mode of Soundwave came right into view, Ravage clinging atop his roof as their respective weapons, the cannon atop of Soundwave's vehicle mode in his case, fired at the orc.

The orc had barely any time to react before his body was riddled with bribing holes, tripping onto the ground from having lost balance from the pain that led to his quick death. The dead body of the orc was eventually ran over by Soundwave and towards Sixshot, before swerving to a stop with Ravage hopping off of him, Soundwave transforming back into his robot for all in the courtyard to see.

The members of the Rose Company that were hiding in the courtyard widened their eyes in surprise at the newcomers. They first took note that Soundwave was just a head shorter than Sixshot, but still large nonetheless, taking in his overall robust visage which included large spikes pauldrons, sharp blue fingers, a cylindrical device on his right shoulder, and the four-pronged dark blue crown atop his head. They also noticed Ravage, taking in that the mini-con appeared similar in shape to that of a jaguar, black and grey in color, and being made out of metal just like Sixshot and Soundwave, his tail ending with a three-pronged tip.

"There's more of them?" Sarah asked with a surprised look. "And they even have pets?"

"Who the Hell are these guys?" Marigold questioned as she looked at Soundwave and Ravage.

However, Maia's eyes lingered towards Soundwave, looking at the back of the blue Decepticon with wide eyes, far more surprised at his appearance at Rad more than any other. She recalled how the image of Soundwave from what Teletraan Alpha had told her and the rest of the Shields. And while she was only seeing the backside of his person right now, she had little doubt that this was the metallic warrior Teletraan Alpha had entailed of.

"That's really him, isn't it?" Maia whispered to herself as she watched Soundwave ears Sixshot start to interact with each other.

Sixshot still had his firearm aimed towards the Insecticons as he looked over at the dark blue clad Decepticon and his black mini-con.

"Soundwave. Ravage." Sixshot acknowledged them. "I see you decided to join the party."

Soundwave spoke back to Sixshot, though his tone said that he wasn't all too pleased. "When I said to deal with the opposition, I figured you try and take out the Insecticons one at a time through stealth. I suppose I should have anticipated that you would bring all of the Insecticons down upon yourself."

"Guilty as charged." Sixshot said with a small shrug. "How many small fry did you and your mini-cons eradicate on your way over?"

"We killed at least fifty thus far, and that's from what I could see from where Soundwave and I were fighting at." Ravage answered the six-changer before looking over to the dead orc that Soundwave had ran over. "From the dead human bodies that littered the streets, it looked like the Insecticons took out a lot of the city's defense. Those orcs and the small red organics were just here and scavenge, loot, and do whatever else they pleased."

"The original plan was to thoroughly go about the city, and eliminate any and all threats." Soundwave said to Sixshot. "But we had to expedite the process to hit and run tactics, once we learned that all the Insecticons had converged one you."

"I'm handling them fine, as is. There was no need for you two to come and save me." Sixshot said with a slight roll of his eyes.

Soundwave merely furrowed his visor in response to Sixshot's responses. "We are on a foreign planet, with little grasp as to how it functions. We cannot go half-cocked, and fight whatever enemy or threat we lay eyes upon, until we have ascertained all information in regards to them."

"Well, I apologize at the fact that I'm a little bored, and trigger happy." Sixshot replied back with a slightly lazed tone. "I was stuck on Salvvatan VIII for several years without much to do but search for fuel to keep me alive, after being crushed by Metroplex, and shot at by the Throttlebots. I haven't had a good fight in some time, and wasn't going to let up on a chance like this."

Soundwave just sighed at Sixshot before replying to him. "Just make sure to be careful next time. We cannot rush into fights without strategy."

"You say that like I didn't have a strategy to begin with." Sixshot said to Soundwave. "I've already killed five Insecticons. They're fast and strong, but only one of them is skilled. While I've been fighting them, I've also been taking my time and prodding them for any other secrets as to how they fight, in which they tend to attack in formation."

Soundwave looked at Sixshot, contemplating on what he said. While Sixshot rushed into battle, at least now they did have a basic understanding to how these Insecticons fight.

Soundwave looked back at Sixshot. "Who is their leader?"

Sixshot just looked back towards Hardshell, nodding towards him. "The one with all the scars and the missing mandible. Goes by the name of Hardshell."

Soundwave and Ravage looked towards the Insecticon that Sixshot spoke of, taking note of Hardshell's overall appearance.

As the three Decepticons looked towards the Insecticon, Hardshell and his brethren started to converse with one another.

"Another Cybertronian? And a mini-con?" One of the Insecticons asked Hardshell.

"Does their arrival mean that the chaos bringer has targeted Gaea?" Another Insecticon asked.

"Calm yourselves, my brothers." Hardshell said to the Insecticons that stood by him. "Whatever foul intent these harbingers carry, we will see to their eradication."

Just then Soundwave started to slowly walk towards the Insecticon's' direction, causing them to raise their guard up and growl at the blue Decepticon.

Soundwave raised his arm and pointed his finger in Hardshell's direction. "Are you the leader of these Insecticons?" He asked aloud.

When Maia and her girls heard Soundwave's voice, a small shiver of fear crawled all over their spines. His voice sounding as if Death incarnate had spoke to all past the ethereal plain.

"I am Hardshell." Hardshell proclaimed as he walked a bit towards Soundwave, easing a claw in this direction. "Who are you, and what business have you here upon Selenus? Speak now!"

Soundwave raised one hand to try and calm Hardshell as he spoke. "I am Soundwave. Herald of Gaea. My comrades and I are on this planet by orders of the Goddess, so that we may assist in bringing peace to this world."

"Impossible!" Hardshell yelled at Soundwave. "No cybertronian served Gaea. Not anymore. What proof do you have?!"

Soundwave knew that he had no physical proof currently with them to show that they worked with Gaea, though he also didn't understand why Hardshell spoke about cybertronians with such anger. As intriguing as such a question was, he had now time for it. However, he may have a way to prove that he and his comrades served Gaea.

Soundwave's visor flashed a pink color before returning to red, a hologram being projected from his visor. From the image of the hologram, it showed the visage of Gaea as she spoke. A recording of her from times when she met with Soundwave.

"I am Gaea, and I require your assistance on an important matter Soundwave." The recording started before flashing a bit, fast forwarding to a different time. "You will be my planet speaker... My people are in danger, and I seek warriors such as yourself to aid in our endeavors... Good luck, my Cybertronian Sanctuary Division."

And with that, the holographic recording of Gaea receded back into Soundwave's visor as he looked towards the Insecticons.

"Is that proof enough?" Soundwave asked.

The Insecticons were shocked into silence, their jaws slightly agape. Maia had a similar appearance from where she was hiding with her girls. He had only heard of Gaea by name, and only learned of her name just recently. Looking upon the visage of Gaea, the very life giver of their world, Maia couldn't help but look on in awe at the being that lied at the center of Selenus. It was if she had gazed upon a more glorious and holier version of Celestine Lucross.

"This-this is unheard of." An Insecticon warrior said. "No cybertronian has ever basked in the visage of Gaea, let alone for the Goddess to choose one as her herald."

"This Soundwave must be speaking the truth, then." Another Insecticon said. "There can be no other explanation. Gaea has sent these cybertronians here to aid the planet."

As the Insecticons continued to charter with each other, one of them walked up to Hardshell and spoke to him. "What say you, General?"

Hardshell was just as stunned as the rest of his brethren. Cybertronians, who were declared a threat to the universe, had been chosen by Gaea to be her warriors. It was unheard of. And if Soundwave truly was Gaea's herald, then a slight against him, would be a slight against their great Goddess. However, Hardshell clenched his jaw shit while tightening his clawed fists. He had still been disgraced by Sixshot, and he and his brethren still had to uphold their Queen's orders.

Hardshell looked down a bit in thought before looking back towards Soundwave, letting out a lowered growl as he spoke.

"So, then you truly are servants of Gaea." Hardshell said. "And if you, Soundwave, truly are the herald of Gaea, then you are to held in the upmost respect."

Ravage walked up to Soundwave as he commented to him. "Well, talk about a mood change."

"However." Hardshell said while flexing his claws a bit. "It is within the duty of the Insecticon hive to serve or Queen, by decree of Gaea. That does not change. We are to bring Maia, the mercenary Queen before Olga Discordia."

Hardshell pointed back towards where Maia and her girls of Rose Company hid, causing Soundwave and Ravage to turn their heads towards the area Maia was hiding at with her girls of the Rose Company. They saw the current members with her going into fighting stances as they prepared to defend Maia at the first sign of trouble, glaring a bit towards Hardshell.

"We cannot disobey our Queen. Nor can we go against a representative of Gaea." Hardshell said to Soundwave. "You can see that whatever the outcome, there will be consequences for choosing one over the other."

"And what choice do you make?" Soundwave asked as he flexed his clawed digits ever so slightly. The glowing accents upon his body frame starting to glow a vibrant ultramarine color as he prepared to fight the Insecticons.

Ravage and Sixshot were getting ready for a fight as well, the six-changer charging up his blaster while the jaguar-like mini-con got into a pouncing position, growling as he did so.

Hardshell let out a low growl before raising his arm towards the sky.

"Insecticons!" Hardshell yelled before bringing his arm down swiftly as he looked towards Soundwave, Ravage, and Sixshot. "We retreat to Garan."

It was at these words that Soundwave and his fellow Decepticons calmed themselves, deactivating any weapons they were about to use as Soundwave's glowing accents dimmed.

Hardshell swiped his hand out to the left, a signal to tell the nine Insecticons with him to transform and fly away, in which they followed without question.

At the same time as those nine Insecticons left, Soundwave looked to see that Sixshot's wolf clones were still battling it out with the other ten Insecticons.

"Sixshot." Soundwave said to the six-changer. "Call back your clones."

Sixshot replied by placing his katana on his hip, and putting away his blaster. Soon his phased out of sight in a white light once more before phasing back in. The wolf clones' eyes flashed white as they halted in their attack on the Insecticons, soon phasing out of existence and heading straight towards Sixshot, in which they became one again.

As the other ten Insecticons started to fly off as well, Hardshell spoke to Soundwave.

"Till we meet again, herald of Gaea." Hardshell said to the blue Decepticon before looking over to the six-changer. "And till we have our rematch, Sixshot."

With that Hardshell started to walk off. Though before he could transform and fly away, he was met with a group of orcs and imps, the former numbering thirty, while the latter numbered fifteen.

"Where metal bugs going?!" A more brutish orc with a club asked in anger. "We can still take city!"

Hardshell merely looked over to the orc with scrutinizing gaze before quickly snatching his throat, tightening his grip as he brought the orc closer to his face.

"As per my command, we retreat." Hardshell said with a growling voice. "And you will obey my orders, lest you want to be left behind to be slaughtered by them." The Insecticon general said as he pointed back towards Soundwave, Ravage, and Sixshot.

Soundwave had heard the conversation Hardshell had with the orc, and as to further Hardshell's point, Soundwave activated the plasma chain saw on his right hand, revving it loudly for all to hear.

The imps and a few orcs looked at Soundwave's weapon with slight apprehension before Hardshell spoke up.

"The choice is yours to make." Hardshell said to them as he tossed the brutish orc to the ground. "Just do not whine to me beyond the grave when you meet your untimely ends."

And with that, Hardshell transformed into his insect mode and flew off.

Growling a bit, the brutish orc got up and let out a roar as he slammed his club to the ground, looking towards his brethren and the imps.

"Bugs left us. No longer boss! I say we kill those metal men and take Mercenary Queen ourselves!" The brutish orc yelled. "Dark Queen will give big reward."

A few of the orcs and imps smiled deviously at the thought of what reward they could get if they brought Maia to Olga. Some thinking that they would be able to get a chance at using Maia as they're breeding sow.

However, before any of the monsters could act, they were suddenly attacked by an ear-piercing noise that rang throughout their ears, growing more and more painful for them. The orcs and imps grunted, groaned, and screamed as they were attacked with sound, Soundwave slowly walking towards them as his accents glowed brightly.

Eventually the blue Decepticon made his way to the brutish orc, who had dropped his club in favor of covering his ears with his ugly hands in attempt to block out the sound waves Soundwave was sending out towards the monsters. The brutish orc was able to get one good look at Soundwave before the Decepticon had one of his cables protrude from the side of his abdomen. The cable grabbed onto the orcs head, right above his left eye before Soundwave started to send strong electric shocks from his cable, throughout the orcs body.

"RaAaAAAaGhH!!" The orc screeched and howled in pain as his eyes was all but being singed to a crisp from the electricity going through his body.

"It would be wise to heed the advise of your commander, orc." Soundwave said in a low and threatening tone. "But then again, those such as yourself and your kin, who lack intelligence, would not realize an immediate threat unless you learned first hand of the strength said threat possesses."

Soundwave then proceeded to slam the orc into the ground several times before letting go of him, retracting his cable back into his body.

Soundwave looked at the fear that filled the faces of the nearby orcs and imps as he made his voice known to them.

"Listen to me, and listen to me well." Soundwave said aloud. "Go back to your Dark Queen. Give her this message: I will not tolerate her actions, and should she continue with this war, I will see to its end. Personally."

The brutish orc, who now looked up towards Soundwave in fear, his eye all but disfigured, quickly crawled back, tripping a bit as he rose to his feet. From then his pulled out a war horn from his side, blowing into it so that all of the other remaining orcs and imps would hear it.

"Retreat!" The orc cried in fear as he put his horn away, scurrying off from the courtyard, not even trying to pick up his club.

His fellows followed suit as they all ran, trying to be as far away from Rad as possible.

Back with Maia and her girls, they all started to walk out from their hiding spot, eyes wide at what they had just seen. Though Maia was able to sum it up in one quietly uttered word.

"Damn." She said in awe at the Decepticons before her.

Sixshot had and Ravage started to walk up towards Soundwave as the blue Decepticon had received an incoming call from Laserbeak over comms.

"Good news. Looks like all these ugly organics are in full retreat." Laserbeak said to Soundwave. "It's also good to see that those Insecticons flew off as well."

——————————————————————

"We're clearing out any stragglers." Laserbeak said to Soundwave as he and Buzzsaw still fired down on a few orcs and imps that didn't get the retreat memo just yet.

"Good. Report to our coordinates as soon as you are finished." Soundwave said to Laserbeak before getting off of comms.

The two mini-Cons continued to fly through the air, looking for any more orcs and imps to shoot at. Just then, Buzzsaw looked right to see an orc trying to run through the streets of Rad in order to flee the city. However, upon closer inspection, Buzzsaw saw that the orc had something over its shoulders, or rather someone. It seemed to be a human woman who had clothes torn apart.

"Laserbeak, down and right." Buzzsaw said as he dove towards the orc, Laserbeak looking towards his direction before following suit.

The orc continued to run with the woman over his shoulder before he heard a loud shriek from above. Looking up, behind him, the orc widened his eyes as he saw Buzzsaw diving at him, his claws scratching and slicing at the orc's eyes.

The sudden pain caused the orc to scream zags he dropped the woman, grasping his bleeding face with his face, though his pain was soon brought to a swift end when Laserbeak fired several holes through the orc's body.

Buzzsaw and Laserbeak watched as the orc's body fell to the ground, dead. They then looked over to the woman on the ground who the orc had dropped. The flew down to her, landing beside her as they saw that she was still alive, though in a bad state. Her clothes were torn, exposing her breasts and her vagina. She was bruised with a few breathes escaping her mouth from time to time. A white substance dripped out of her vagina as the woman twitched and convulsed, her tongue handing out of her mouth.

Laserbeak looked at the sight with a grimace while Buzzsaw had a look of concern towards the well-being of the woman.

Just then, Soundwave had received another comms communication, one originating from Trypticon. Soundwave opened the comm link as Cosmos spoke to him.

"Looks like the Insecticons turned tail and flew. What happened down there?" Cosmos asked Soundwave.

"The situation has been diffused. We were able to convince the Insecticons to leave. And from there, their allies followed suit." Soundwave answered to his second-in-command.

"However, the city has sustained heavy damage, their defenses crippled. The city will be left vulnerable to any other threats, unless something or someone strong and powerful enough were to stand guard while the city can be prepared." Soundwave said as Sixshot and Ravage got closer to him. "Preferably someone big."

"Message received. Bringing over Trypticon right now. Cosmos out." Cosmos said before the comm channel cut off.

Ravage walked beside Soundwave's leg as he looked up towards his leader. "Given how things used to function in the Decepticon ranks, during the war, I'd say we did a job well done for ending things as peacefully as possible. Brings me back to the good old days of when we were freedom fighters instead of warmongers." The mini-con said in a slightly disdainful tone, remembering what the Decepticons were before the war, and remembering when he had realized what the Decepticons had become during it.

"I don't know. I kind of wanted to finish that fight with the Insecticons." Sixshot said truthfully while Ravage slightly glared at the six-changer.

Soundwave looked Sixshot in the optics with an almost disappointed look. "We do not seek out war, Sixshot. That goes against what we fight for."

"I'm just saying why I'm here in the first place." Sixshot stated with a small shrug, though he did have a serious look in his optics. "But I'm not some mindless killer. Don't forget that. Just because I was the most feared Decepticon, doesn't mean I'm not empathetic. I just like a good fight."

"I know of your records Sixshot. Your fighting tends to involve forcing others to fight you. It is that type of senseless fighting that we are trying to reduce upon this planet." Soundwave chastised towards Sixshot.

"What can I say? Old habits die hard." Sixshot said, not relenting on his position.

Soundwave sighed a bit, but he knew that someone like Sixshot would need much convincing if he were to be more peaceful. Deciding to push aside those thoughts, Soundwave brought up a different subject.

"Hardshell spoke about a Mercenary Queen being his target." Soundwave said. "Have you come into contact with this Queen?"

"Sure. Her names Maia. Hardshell was gunning for her during our all out brawl." Sixshot said with crossed arms. "Her arm got damaged and I told her and her group to hide. They're not too far from the area, pretty close actually."

Meanwhile, as Soundwave spoke with Sixshot, Maia and her girls looked at the figures of Soundwave, Ravage, and Sixshot as they watched the Decepticons converse with each other.

"Wow. Just... wow." Sarah said with a slightly agape jaw. "They just caused the entire invading force to leave Rad. Just the few of them."

Maia agreed with Sarah within her mind, but she also noticed that Sixshot had pointed towards herself, Soundwave looking straight in her direction. The three Decepticons then started to walk towards Maia.

Seeing this, Maia, who was clutching her bandaged and bleeding arm, looked towards Marigold. "Marigold. Get to the middle city. Tell them to open the gates and lower the barrier."

Marigold replied with a nod as she ran off, but not before taking one last glance at the three Decepticons who approached Maia.

Soundwave, tailed by Ravage and Sixshot, made their way over to Maia, looking towards the Mercenary Queen.

"Are you the leader of this city? Maia, correct?" Soundwave asked Maia as he looked towards her.

"Yeah... I am." Maia said as she clutched her arm. "Are you... are you Soundwave?" She asked.

At this Soundwave was slightly surprised, just as much as Ravage and Sixshot.

"How do you know my name?" Soundwave asked Maia. He was about to peer into the Mercenary Queen's mind, but just as he did, Maia spoke.

"Some oracle thing called Teletraan Alpha that was below the Goddess's palace." Maia started. "Said you were destined to arrive on our world, or something like that."

"They have a Teletraan unit? On this back water world?" Ravage asked with a raised optic.

"The metal cat talks?" Brea asked with wide eyes. "Is he a familiar?"

"Huh? What's a familiar?" Ravage asked with furrowed optics. "I'm a mini-con. My name is Ravage."

"What do you mean by that Teletraan is a unit?" Maia asked with a raised brow, pushing back her thoughts on metallic, talking jaguar.

"Where we're from, the planet Cybertron, Teletraans are a series of super computers that can predict the most likely outcomes." Sixshot answered Maia with crossed arms. "Though they're not always accurate."

"I've never heard of a Teletraan Alpha." Soundwave said as he put a hand to his face-plated chin.

"Well, I'd be glad to introduce you to him... but first I need to see to the people of Rad." Maia said as she looked towards areas where smoke arose from the city fortress.

Ravage let out a small and quiet chuckle of disbelief when Maia had spoken. "Rad? The name of this city is Rad?"

"Yeah. What's so funny about the name?" Maia asked with furrowed eyes.

"Eh, it's just very simplistic, by human standards." Ravage answered to her.

"Names aside, Maia is correct. The highest priority as of now is the well-being of the city's people." Soundwave said before any further conversation about the city's name would continue.

"Once the barrier opens and we can get some guards and healers out of the inner city, we can start helping everyone out." Maia said as they all looked towards the inner city, the magical barrier already starting to open up.

Maia looked back towards the Decepticons with a small grimace on her face. "But the damage done to the city by those Insecticon things... I don't know how much we'll be able to fix."

"You need not fret." Soundwave said while crossing his hands behind his back in a formal manner. "You have our aid." He said as he walked forward a bit, noticing a familiar shape in the distance that was heading towards Rad from the south.

"Thanks and all, but I don't know how the three of you are going to help in finding all the wounded and repair our buildings." Maia said, oblivious to the object in the sky getting closer and bigger as it headed to Rad.

"Oh, I think we'll figure things out." Ravage said as he and Sixshot walked towards Soundwave, the sound of something big heading towards the city as it broke through the wind. "After all, it's not just the three of us."

Maia raised her brow a bit before she and her girls heard the sound of something moving through the air. A large shadow being cast over the city. Looking in the direction the Decepticons were looking towards, the Mercenary Queen and her women widened their eyes as they saw the image of Trypticon in his Starship Nemesis mode hovering over Rad.

"What the fuck is that?" Maia asked in awe and slight fear at the dark grey warship, stepping forwards a bit as Soundwave looked right up at it.

"That is Trypticon. Our current means of traversing this planet at quick speeds." Soundwave answered Maia. "He is a Titan from this planet's moon."

"From the... moon? A-a Titan?" Maia said said in confusion and shock. "Just who are you guys?"

"We are the Cybertronian Sanctuary Division. Assigned by Gaea to protect this planet, and its people." Soundwave said as he turned around to face Maia, Ravage by his side and Sixshot a bit ways behind the Blue Decepticon. The image of Trypticon above and behind them giving off an almost inspiring look.

"In short, you may refer to us as the C.S.D. And we are here to save this planet." Soundwave reiterated.

IDW-01 universe_

Deep within the confines of space, lie a single spaceship that moved ever steadily along its path. It's current location being that of the Acklaw System. This ship was known as the Exitus.

Within this cybertronian vessel, the crew moseyed around the ship, doing their daily routines.

The captain of this ship, an Autobot clad in blue, cyan, white, red, and yellow, was currently making his way through the halls of his ship. This was Thunderclash.

The Autobot captain was currently on his way to the private quarters of a crew-member of his ship.

Finally reaching up to the door of said crew-member, Thunderclash slowly raised his hand before knocking on the door.

"Hey, it's me." Thunderclash said to the bot on the other side of the door. "If it's not too much of a bother, I just wanted to come and check up on you before you depart for Earth."

There was a small moment of silence before a voice, masculine in sound, spoke from within the private quarters.

"No, no. It's fine. I'm just thinking about a few things, that's all." Said the voice. "You can come in. You are the captain after all."

With that, the door of the room slide open, revealing to Thunderclash an Autobot who was currently sitting at a desk by the window of the room. A glass of alcohol to too far from the Autobot as he was looking over a withered badge that was somewhat star-shaped, the Autobot's face engraved upon the badge. The Autobot himself had the regular silver face of any Transformer, his color scheme being predominantly that of red, yellow, and orange. This was Rodimus Prime, who was currently looking over a Rodimus star that he had given to the ex-Decepticon leader Megatron, which was given back to Rodimus upon Megatron's incarceration.

Rodimus continued to look at the star before taking a sip of his beverage, a look of melancholy on his face.

"So, what can I do you for, Thunderclash?" Rodimus asked the captain of the Exitus as he set his glass down as he glanced over to Thunderclash.

"Just wanted to see you before you set off." Thunderclash said as he leaned against a nearby wall. "I know things have been a bit tough for you since word got out about Ratchet's death."

"Eh, what are you gonna do?" Rodimus asked as he tried to put on his best smile, though his eyes betrayed him, reading that of sorrow. "Given Ratchet's condition, it was gonna happen eventually."

Rodimus gave out a sigh as he lost his smile, turning directly towards Thunderclash as he had the withered Rodimus star in his hands. "I guess I just figured I would be able to see the old medic one more time before he kicked it. Man, how Drift must feel right now."

"Don't be too hard on yourself." Thunderclash said with a sympathetic look. "These things happen. Even if you won't be able to see him again, you'll at least be able to pay your respects."

Rodimus just numbly nodded as he still looked down at the Rodimus star in his hands, the smile on the star being a stark contrast to what his face showed at the moment.

Giving out a hummer sigh, Thunderclash spoke once more. "Your ship's prepped, and ready to leave when you are. Make sure you have a safe trip."

And with that, Thunderclash left the room, leaving Rodimus to mull over his thoughts in the silence of his private quarters, recalling the adventures he had with his old crew of the Lost Light. Wishing that he could go back to those times.

With a tired sigh, Rodimus draped his arms down, reaching for the glass of alcohol to take one final sip before setting it down and rising to his feet.

"Let's do this." Rodimus said with a sorrowful sigh before striding out of his room, Rodimus star still in hand.

The lights of the room turned off, as all was left in silence. Then, after a few moments, the ethereal image of Gaea appeared upon the window of the room, a sympathetic look on her face towards the predicament of Rodimus Prime. But her sympathetic look was soon combined with a small and hopeful smile that graced her lips, as she believed she had the answer to Rodimus's prayers. And just like that, Gaea soon vanished from the window, awaiting for when Rodimus would depart for Earth.
