"These are one of the tools we use to corral werewolves, pushing them in the direction we want them to run," Argent explains hand resting on the top of the object. "It gives off a high-pitched frequency that only they can hear," he suddenly presses a button on the top, the sharp ringing noise overtaking Charlie's mind and causing her to cover her ears as she winces.

"No kidding!" Isaac exclaims once Chris turns it off, the group breathing a sigh of relief at the silence. Argent then moves opens a case filled with emitters, handing two to Derek.

"These are going to drive them to the school?" The alpha asks with a tilt of his head, stabbing them into the ground for a moment.

"And then it's up to you to get them into the basement," Chris furthers with a nod, opening another case and giving each of the teens two emitters.

"Does anyone else wanna rethink the plan where we just kill them?" Isaac offers, Charlie rolling her eyes as she shoves past him roughly.

"Don't be an asshole," she bites back, causing the boy to shoot a glare in her direction.

"It's going to work," Scott nods with a look toward the bright moon. This earns an unsure look from Derek, the boy's expression hardening. "It'll work," he repeats, letting out a tense breath. Argent then pulls out a map, laying it on the hood of the car, causing the group to walk toward him.

"Okay, so Scott I need you to place each of your emitters on the left of the Preserve, Isaac yours will be parallel," he points toward the locations on the paper, the two boys nodding. "Then Charlie, you will put one on the edge of the woods right before the high school, on the left Isaac's and another on the right of Scott's final emitter, it will act like a funnel shape, directing them to us," Chris explains, the girl nodding. "Derek, yours will be into the school," the werewolf tilts his head in understanding, the man looking between the group. "Okay, I will meet you all in front of the school in fifteen minutes and will some luck, we will be able to stop a lot of unnecessary deaths."

At his statement, they all grab their two emitters and run into the woods, leaving the man behind to drive to the school. Charlie sprints through the trees easily, veering gradually right for about ten minutes as she hears Scott press his second emitter. She then locates the position for hers, quickly pressing the top and then running directly left to place the other one in time. She makes it in record time, heart pumping fast as she runs up toward the school.

The girl lets out a huff of air, looking around at the night and spotting Scott standing on the higher ground above the buses. The werewolf makes his way down quickly, nodding at her once. Charlie then tilts her head at the sound of footsteps behind her, turning to see Isaac run up to them. "We should check the school," Scott states, causing them both to agree, following him as he finds the open door that they were using to corral the rabid werewolves.

They all look down the darkened hallway that the door leads into, the silence adding to the tense feeling. "Well this just got very creepy," the girl adds, all of them turning back as they hear Argent's car pull up. The man gets out just as they arrive in front of the building, nodding once.

"Were the-," Chris is suddenly interrupted by a distant howling, the group suddenly looking toward the noise worriedly. Charlie's eyes narrow as she hears the werewolves sprint across the football pitch, growls echoing across the field.

They all realize at the same time the direction that the wolves were coming from, the group then running around to the other side of the school as fast as they can. They sprint there just in time, Cora and Boyd skidding to a stop and growling wildly at the sight of them.

Charlie snarls, eyes flashing a bright blue in warning toward the two. Her gaze flicks over them, wincing a little at aura that surrounds them; the dark grey twisting wildly. At the sound of Scott's louder growl, the two wolves suddenly turn and sprint toward the door that had been left open. They all watch them with bated breaths, the girl letting out a breath as they suddenly halt, pausing before jumping over it and onto the roof.

Their plan didn't work.

"They're going over it," Scott lets out a growl, eyes clenching shut in frustration

"Shit," Charlie hisses out, jaw clenched as she turns to see Derek running up to them.

"Those big red doors, someone has to get them open, so we can drive them inside," Chris states, the alpha offering quickly before sprinting toward the opposite side of the school.

"But we actually need to get them inside," Scott frowns at the man who pauses, trying to figure out how.

"I can do that, just leave it to me," Isaac states with a cocky smirk before running off as well, leaving the three alone. Argent sighs a little, eyes flicking up to the sky.

"Okay, Scott, get to the other side of the main hallway, Derek should be there, and then since we are on this side, we can force them into the basement," Chris quickly explains, the boy nodding in agreement before quickly making his way there. This leaves him and Charlie alone, the girl releasing a tight breath as they walk slowly into the building. She lets her eyes glow against the darkness of the hallway, quickly picking up the sounds of fighting.

Charlie exchanges a glace with the man before picking up the pace, now running toward the main hallway. She spots Derek just as she turns around the corner, standing in front of Cora who was on the ground, and Boyd, the latter growling deeply. Scott suddenly jumps down from the staircase, skidding to a stop next to the alpha before turning to face the two werewolves. "Come and get us," Derek states, sprinting off with the younger boy in tow, down the left hallway to the boiler room.

Charlie turns slightly to Chris with a raised brow. "You going after them?" she questions, causing the man to shake his head firmly.

"You can, I just need to check something first," he replies, pocketing his gun quickly as he looks down the opposite hallway. The girl nods in reply, turning to head toward the boiler room while Argent walks away. Charlie quickly makes her way down the steep stairs to the bottom of the basement, spotting Derek and Scott standing in front of the heavy metal door. The sound of banging from the werewolves stops just as she reaches it, the alpha frowning a little as he braces a hand on the lock.

"Did that actually just work?" The boy asks in disbelief, eyes wide at the man. He turns his head a little, spotting the girl next to him.

"I think it did," Derek replies with the same tone, letting out a breath in relief. He then steps back from the door, running a hand through his hair. Both him and Charlie watch as Scott pauses, frowning a little as he moves forward carefully. The werewolf then closes his eyes, hand pressed against the metal.

"What do you hear?" Charlie asks with a frown, hearing the boy's heart rate spike suddenly. This causes Derek to look toward him as well, head tilted.

"Heartbeats," Scott states after a beat of hesitation, eyes suddenly widening.

"Both of them?"

"Three," Scott suddenly states, turning to Derek who pushes forward quickly, trying to hear the same thing.

"Who would be in a high school basement in the middle of the night?" Charlie questions, frowning wildly as she focuses her hearing. The alpha then moves his hand to the lock, taking in a breath. "What are you doing?"

"I need you both to close the door behind me and keep it shut," Derek states firmly, eyes beginning to glow red.

"If you go in alone, you're either going to kill them or they'll kill you," Scott tries to reason with him after exchanging a wide-eyed look with the girl who shakes her head.

The man remains silent for a few seconds, looking toward the ground. His gaze then flicks up to the two, jaw clenching. "That's why I'm going in alone," Derek replies before quickly pulling open the door and slipping inside despite both of the teen's protests.

Scott then steps forward, shutting and locking the door behind him while exchanging another worried glance with Charlie who frowns, trying to listen inside. They wait outside for a few minutes, picking up on the loud noises and growls coming from the basement. A loud roar suddenly breaks through, the girl shifting on her feet.

After a few moments, the growling suddenly stops, causing both Scott and Charlie to sprint inside the boiler room just as Isaac reaches the beginning of the stairs. They all stop at the sight of Derek breathing heavily on his knees, the unconscious bodies of Cora and Boyd by either side of him. He looks up to spot the three of them, letting out a breath.

"There's a teacher, I'll take care of her," Derek states between gasps, eyes half closed. "Get them out of here," Derek says, causing the trio to share a look before moving forward. Charlie moves to Boyd, helping Scott lift the large werewolf while Isaac grabs Cora. **

They use Chris' car to drive both of the werewolves back to Derek's loft, leaving the Camaro so the man in question could get back. The sun just begins to rise as they enter the living room, Isaac taking Cora to her brother's room while Charlie and Scott put the other werewolf on the couch.

The sound of the boy's phone breaks the silence, causing him to reach into his pocket, frowning. "I have to get going," he states just as Derek's beta walks into the living room, causing them both to nod. Scott pauses eyes flicking to Charlie. "It was nice to meet you," he offers, causing the girl to tilt her head.

"Likewise," she states, giving a slight smile back in return. The werewolf then turns to Isaac, throwing a wave before heading out the door. Charlie pauses for a second before shoving her hands in her pockets, listening for Cora's heartbeat which was still slow and steady. She then flicks her gaze toward the blonde beta who was watching her with unreadable eyes. "I can watch them," the girl offers before moving to sit on the couch, leaning back on it.

"No, it's fine I'll stay as well," he regards her with a suspicious gaze, causing Charlie to roll her eyes with a huff.

"I'm not gonna kill them if that's what you're worried about," she steels her expression, watching as the boy shifts on his feet.

"And the color of your eyes?" He challenges, causing the girl to still suddenly. Her expression suddenly turns dark, Charlie standing up and walking toward Isaac slowly.

"The color of my eyes is none of your business," her voice is grating, venom pouring into it. She takes another dangerous step toward the boy, watching in satisfaction as he moves backward a little. "So back off," the girl then flashes them blue quickly, raising a brow.

They are interrupted by Derek walking through the door, still covered in blood. The teens turn toward him, the man sighing a little. "How are they going?"

"Still unconscious," Isaac replies, gaze darting to Boyd on the couch for a second. The alpha nods in reply, before moving further into the loft.

"You both should go to school, I'll wait until they wake up," at his offer, the beta nods, walking towards his room. Charlie hesitates for a second, causing Derek to turn to her.

"You sure?" She asks, tilting her head a little. "I can wait until Cora wakes up."

"No, it's fine, get to school," at his reply, the girl pauses for a minute before nodding reluctantly.

"Okay, text me if she wakes up," Charlie states before quickly flicking her eyes to Derek's room, hearing her friend's heartbeat. She then quickly walks out of the loft, calling Deaton to see if he could pick her up.
