She doesn't know her name. Or should I say, they erased those memories of her. They called her zero. Project zero. The first experiment.

I stole her and made her my imoto. Made my mother take her in as her children to replace my recent dead baby brother. I gave her a new name, Arina and erased her memories of the experiments.

Whoever put this program on her must be very skilled in using seals. It could control almost every part of her body. Like she's a puppet.

They wanted to discover how to make sure all babies born of a Fuiin descent have the abilities to use seals. Not by random chance.

They failed. Genetics were too hard a thing for fuiins I guess.

But someone found another way. To turn anyone they wanted into someone who could use seal ability.. They tested that theory and hence the existence of project zero.

The idea, came from the chief of the clan. She herself was part of the project.

There was more than her they created after her. They intended to make their own personal army through this way. Hence, they bought more children for the purpose of the experiments.

They did all sorts of things I didn't understand to her. Put needles in her, take her blood out and other stuff .

Project zero always was cheery and always laughed easily to the things I said. Or to whatever jokes was said. Even if those scientists poke and prodded in her body, she didn't seem to have any bad intent towards them. She still smiled and laughed with them.

I don't understand. Did they program her this way?

That's why I opened the tank and released her. I grabbed her hand and stole her from the lab.

I opened up her program on her back and erased her memories of her days at the lab.

I lied, and told her she had a high fever causing her to forget everything. We are her family. She's my imoto. Her name is Arina.

Not long after, I realised about the extent of her abilities. I also realised why father was willing to let her stay in the house. He wanted to drink her blood. Well, it's not much if he doesn't do anything else.

I put her into black ops so that father can't keep bothering her as I kept sending her for missions. Her blood became addicting for father to drink. He wanted more and more. I guess she's stronger than mother.

My imoto. I want her to laugh for me everyday.

Ugh... But I don't want to be chief.

Arina is good with poisons . Maybe I should marry someone to help her learn. A scientist? A doctor ? This way father can't say no to having a doctor scientist in the house.

2nd last entry:

They got what they wanted. The project they originally wanted to do. Guarantee all babies to have seal abilities. They contracted out to the shioris. I guess there's always someone out there who is able to do things you can't.

Last entry :

She ran from the house and became a Shiori. I wonder if she's happy now. I did leave her.

Kurama closes the book and took a deep breath to process all of what he just read. It was quite twisted.

Mamoru was right.

He didn't know what to feel. Hate ? But then she wouldn't who she is now. He would have never met her then.

He looks up to the clock " Arina is coming back home soon... I better keep this somewhere she can't find. "

Kurama: Arina. Okaeri.

Arina : gomen they had an emergency and it was a really hard surgery. Everyone else who could help was helping out something else.

Kurama: it's ok

She smells the air " smells good. Did you buy some new flowers again ?"

Kurama : silly Arina. Do I even have to buy ?

Arina : heh heh... What flowers are these ? Smells so good... So... Relaxing...

He wraps his hand around her neck by the back " maa... You had a long day. Neh~ Arina. Do you think you're lucky or unlucky to have met me ? "

Arina rubs her eyes starting to feel sleepy " mmm... Lucky... Cos Kurama loves... Me..."

Kurama: I see.

" Um.... " And she starts to fall as she fell asleep. He catches her with his arms holding onto her body " it's ok. Just sleep for a while." He changes the way he held onto her, he carries her up and into the bedroom.

He places her on the bed and laid her down. He turned her to her side and released her ribbon. She was after all still having a baby, he couldn't just put her on her front. He takes off the upper part of her dress to reveal her back. He then takes out a vial of blood and draw a circle on her back.

A huge seal circle appears and it starts to spread script writing to her nape of her neck where there was another small circle. There was also two at her wrists, two leading to her legs it seemed. There was even one that could be traced to the front. He gently pushes her to his side to take a look and sees one circle at her heart.

Kurama: it really exists. The program...

He touches to the circle on the nape of her neck. The large circle on her back acted like some kind of interface. Words started to appear.

What would you like me to do ?

Kurama : its asking me for commands ?

He wrote with more blood :

Show me the memories she had before she entered the lab.

The words he wrote gets absorbed into the skin.

No. The birthing protocols did not include this as a necessary step to perform. Only best genes were sought out to create the best baby.

Hai. Project 0 will suffer from intense pain all over her body as the program is intricately wired into her. It will be like attempting to restructuring her entire body. Just like when I was first inserted inside her.

So it's possible to have you self destruct ?

Hai. Warning. She might die due to instant intense restructuring. Just like the first time she was restructured into a fuiin.

Kurama: She didn't die then... Maybe she'll survive it.

Based on her statistics now, after birth, would she survive it ?

Kurama sighs and kisses her in the hair. He hugs her in , having her scooped into his embrace. He squeezes her with worry " damn it... How do I save you ? Arina. "

Arina woke up and was face to face with Kurama. She touched to his eyebrows that were locked together. Like he was thinking something really hard and really worried.

He woke up by her touch " Arina ?" He puts on his usual gentle smile.

Arina: don't act in front of me... I'm your wife... Why are you worried ? What happened ?

Kurama: what do you mean ?

She touched his eyebrows again " kurama's eyebrows were locked together when he was sleeping. You're worried... " He takes her hand down and kisses her lips " nothing to worry. I promise. "

Arina : don't lie to me !!!

" Really. " He hugs her in, cupping her head in " just hospital stuff. Maybe I should quit as director. Hahaha. "

Arina : ok... If it makes you so worried everytime. You should quit. You don't have to stay in the hospital because of me. We can go back to the mundane world. We still have a home there.

Kurama: ssshh... Just let me handle all these things ok ? It's my job. Arina's thinking brain.

Arina: hey !! I can think on my own !!

Kurama ; but I don't want your little brain to be tortured . I want you to always to be happy.

Arina ; I also want Kurama to be happy.
