Your P.O.V

It was your anniversary! It was a snowing day. You smile. And got dressed first. You sigh in relief. You saw Chánjuān and you hugged her.

She smiled and hugged you.

Chánjuān:" Happy Birthday!"

You giggle, and you see Crane getting up from his chair and smile at you. And he bows to you.

Crane:" Happy birthday your Highness."

You smile also at him and bow him.

You:" Thank you so much. I hoped Po would spend time with me."

Chánjuān and Crane looked at each other in worry and turned to you.

Chánjuān:" Po went out withTigress. They went to a Mission."

Your eyes wide and turn aside.

You:" Well I will be by myself then. Sorry to bother the couple."

Chánjuān hugged me and looked at me. And look at Crane.

Chánjuān:" Crane. I will spend her birthday with her. You won't mind?"

He smiled and shook his head.

Cane:" Nah, you ladies take care. I will spend time with the guys anyway. They have bothered me since I got engaged."

He chuckles and Chánjuān giggles a bit. And hold your arm and go out to celebrate your Birthday. You walk the street and with a snow umbrella. Chánjuān was spending time with you. Buy your gifts and walk around the village. 

You missed her, it was true. You were happy she was by your side. After a long day with you. You guys were having dinner at Dragon Warrior Noodles & Tofu. 

You two giggled at the stories that Chánjuān was telling about the training with Crane.

You heard a voice. You turn around and see Mr.Ping deliver your food.

Mr.Ping:" Hello! There you have your food, ladies. How is your day going?"

You smile at the Man. Yes, he was a very caring and sweet man. He has been a father to you. It was him to teach you cooking. He got the patient to teach you.

While you were making some mistakes, he always taught you the right method to make food. 

Even sometimes you came to help him with the Shop while Po was away. You create a bond with Mr.Ping.

You:" I am fine Mr.Ping. I see your store is full as always. You need help?"

Mr.Ping:" No, No. Your Highness! I am used to it. Don't worry about me. Enjoy your meal. Ah? Why are you so sad?"

He noticed you were sad. You cover your face and turn around, Chánjuān notices too and turns to Mr.Ping.

Chánjuān:" Today is her birthday. And she wanted to spend time with the Dragon Warrior. Since they are friends. *mumble very low* Even if she is in love with your son. *cough* He has left with Tigress for a Mission until now they didn't return."

Mr.Ping shakes his head and makes angry sounds.

Mr.Ping:;"Aiya!(it's a comum Chinese sigh) *angry sigh* That boy. He always thinks about Kung Fu first! Oh, it's your birthday! I didn't have a gift for you?!"

You shake your hands as a negative.

You:" You don't need to do that Mr.Ping! You gave something I couldn't do before is cooking. I thank you for that."

He shakes his head as a no too.

Mr.Ping:" No, No! I will be right back! The stores are still open! I will be back! You girls keep an eye on the Store!"

You and Chánjuān look at each other and grin. You both entered. 

While Chánjuān cooks you were serving. 

Everyone came and most were men. They were happy that Mr.Ping contracted beautiful women. You and Chánjuān look at each other and she screams.

Chánjuān:" You better sit down! I have a Fiance! Or you will deal with this hot spoon!"

They all gulp and eat their food. 

While you went to the server the food and take the bows from the clients who already ate. 

They paid and left. But more were coming. You two were having fun. 

Then Mr.Ping returned.

Mr.Ping:" My heavens! What happened! Why do we have men Clients!"

One client turns to Mr.Ping.

Client1:" Hey Mr.Ping! Nice choice of Employers! They look extremely beautiful! Especially the server and the cooker."

He felt something being thrown at him. He saw it was a spoon. He looked at where the person threw and saw Chánjuān with fire burning eyes. 

They all gulp. Especially you.

Chánjuān: "By Heavens did you say? How many times I have to tell you all! I have my Fiance! Crane! Yeah, Master Crane! You better behave when we are here! Especially with the Princess!"

She points to you. Every man gulps with fear. They bow and pay their meal and run away. Mr.Ping sighs with disappointment and laughs next.

Mr.Ping:" Next time if my son isn't here. I will call you to deal with these types of clients. You seem don't give two bowls of noodles to anyone."

Chánjuān smirks and cleans the kitchen, while you finish cleaning the tables and close the store. Mr.Ping was counting money.

 Today he has more money, too much for one day! Thank you and Chánjuān for helping him. After you two finish. Mr.Ping gave you his gift.

You:" Mr.Ping! You shouldn't! I am happy that you teach me."

Mr.Ping:" Oh please open. I hope you like it!"

You open and you gasp. You grab it. It was for two bracelets. It was white and the other almost cream with gold.

You look at him with tears and hug him.

Mr.Ping:" There, there. Don't cry, you should be happy. It's your birthday after all."

He clears your tears. He put the white jade bracelet on your waits while putting Chánjuān the other bracelet.

Mr.Ping:" There is a thank you for both of you. Since you guys helped me. My business went wonderful!"

You: "Anytime Mr.Ping. And Thank you for these bracelets."

Chánjuān:" Thank you Mr.Ping. You are the best. If you need me anytime. Just call me."

Mr.Ping:" Oh I will!"

You and Chánjuān look at the sky. It was night already. You had fun on your birthday. You went to Palace Jade. You didn't want to sleep. 

You said see ya to Chánjuān. You walk around and sigh. 

You walk further and further to a place you see a cave and a small lake. You look at it. You saw your reflection.

You look at yourself. You were wearing Peasant clothes. But your reflex was showing your royal Hanfu with jewellery. You look away and hug yourself. Your tears were rolling down.

You: "Look at me

You may think you see

Who I really am

But you'll never know me

It's as if I play a part

You began to walk and see the lake again and see two reflections. Of yourself dressed as a Peasant, the other as a Royal.

You: "Who is that girl I see

You look aside again and confuse yourself.

You: "I am now

You thought about your mother's words about marriage to someone you didn't even know. You began to cry with anger and frustration. All your life was preparing to be a bride to marry someone. 

Your life was like the other princess. Your destiny was married to provide peace. It was frustrating because you were in love with someone!

You:"Who is that girl I see?

You scream with your lungs. You remember your grandma's life and her fate was. You cried when fate was coming. You look at yourself.

 It wasn't you. It's something you try to be. A person Po would love. It was killing you inside.

You let go of your heart out and cried. You were so confused. You look at the landscape. And more tears roll down. You were fighting with yourself. Your two identities. 

One was a Peasant and the Other was a Royal Princess.

You scream once more the words are coming out. It was like letting go of your frustration. Why everyone needs you to conceal your heart, your thoughts, your needs, your own happiness.

Because of course, You are! And still Princess. Your heart wanted to be a normal girl, with happiness and have the freedom to choose your path. 

Not having anyone to tell you who one to Mary. To fall in love with someone you truly love. 

You take off the jewellery and let go of your hair for free. You sigh and laugh for being free. Feeling your intel though being available free! 

You wanted to be yourself. Not only being a Princess but also being a Peasant.

You want yourself being shown. You come back and look at yourself in the lake. You smile and see the woman you became. 

You became mature and of course wiser. You let out your worries, your doubts, your fears in a song.

You:"When will my reflection show

You smiled and grabbed the fallen jewellery and went to the jade palace. 

You save them inside the box you use to put jewellery. You saw your face. Your make up was a mess. You went to the bathroom and washed your face. 

After washing your face. You cleaned it and you were returning. You heard voices. You went to see who it was. You saw it was Po coming with Tigress. 

They were discussing the mission they went on. You look aside. And you didn't want to sleep. You went outside. You sit in the same place. 

You saw a flute and grabbed it and played a bit. You play your favourite song. It was calming and relaxing. It makes your heart flow with the wind.

You play with your heart. Your eyes were close to the moon and sky. Everything was in harmony. You were at peace with yourself, you finally embraced yourself. 

You kept playing and dancing a little. The snow was falling.

You felt the wind embrace you. You finish playing and hear someone and you turn and see who it was, it was Po.

You turn your face aside. Grab your coat, and you were about to leave. But he stops you.

Po: "Is everything alright? I see you more. I don't know, alone."

You look at him. He notices you didn't wear any makeup or wear any jewellery. The wind blows once more to lift your hair, you bow to him. He looks confused.

You: "Everything is alright, Dragon Warrior. Please, I must retreat. Have a good night of sleep."

You close your eyes and walk to the room. You open the door and close it. You sigh. You heard her.

Chánjuān:" So didn't you confess to him?"

You shake your head. She got up and looked at you. 

Chánjuān notices you were different.

Chánjuān:" (Y/n)! Your hair, it's free! You wear no makeup! You look beautiful this way."

You smiled. You took your clothes and wore a nightgown. You lay down.

You:" He probably likes Tigress more than me. I can't win this game with her. She knows Kung Fu! While what do I know? Princess stuff."

Chánjuān sits next to you and rubs your hair. It was calming.

Chánjuān:" You know more than you think. (Y/n), you are special in your way. Yeah, Tigress knows Kung Fu. But you know singing, painting, playing, reading, playing instruments, Hand embroidering the silk handkerchief and clothes and cooking and cleaning. Girl you are any man's dream. Even for a Prince. That's why Lord Shen is after you!"

You look at her.

You:" At least he gave some credit and some attention."

Chánjuān gasps and throws a pillow at you at playing.

Chánjuān:" You want to marry that old man?"

You giggle and hug her. You shake your head as no. But you sigh.~

 Chánjuān had an idea. She is going to help you, make him love you. 

You smile and hug her more. 

Chánjuān smiled too and you both went to sleep.

Po P.O.V

I see her leaving. I was really confused. I saw her with her hair free and no makeup. She was different. Something had happened to her. 

But it was already late so I went to sleep.

The next day I went to my father Shop. He was serving and saw me.

Father:" Finally! You arrive! I was waiting for you yesterday!"

Po:" Sorry Dad. A mission came up. It was too late to tell you. I had to leave."

Father:" It wasn't for (Y/n) or her Friend. I was filled! "

I look at him quickly. The princess (Y/n) came here and helped my dad?! I greet everyone and enter the kitchen.

Po:" So. Why did she come here?"

My father groans and keeps choosing the ingredients and cutting them fast. And throw the knife to the wood tray.

Father:" The poor girl was celebrating her birthday! She came here to enjoy herself. And she wanted to spend time with you. But you were busy, as always. "

My jaw opens. Yesterday was her birthday! Why didn't she tell me?! But my father interrupts my intel, though.

Father:" Poor girl. She is here all by herself. Her family is far away. Her friend is engaged. It's normal that a girl feels lonely here! Aiya! Thankfully I put a smile on that face. Poor girl, she cried after I gave her a gift."

I stayed quiet. It's true. She was lonely here. Her family was away. She felt abandoned. That's why I saw her that way. Lonely and distant.

 I sit down and think about what I have done. I was always alone. Yeah, I like her. I mean l love her. The time we spend together makes me have feelings with her. 

It was hard to express myself to her.

My father sighs and keeps cooking. I saw something that caught my eye. A drawing and I wanted to touch it. But my father stops me.

Father:" Don't ever think about it! It was (Y/n) gift!"

I look at it again. It was a golden dragon. Probably because of me. I look down and gulp.

Po:" How did she get that?"

Father:" its embroidery. Chánjuān told me. (Y/n) did that all by herself. I don't doubt it. Inside the Palace, every girl must know everything. (Y/n) Probably got taught by a professional. (Y/n) Didn't say to me. But Chánjuān told me (Y/n) spent all night doing that. Without resting. Even Chánjuān got worried about (Y/n) Healthy. Sometimes she fainted by the exhaust. But she kept working on that piece. She wanted to thank me by teaching her things she didn't know to correct."

Po: "What has been?"

Father:" Cooking! Of course and do some house chores. That girl had servants to do that for her. She wanted to be independent. So I teach her."

Po:" That's really great. That's why her cooking improves so much. And she made my favourite food."

Father:" Because I told her what you like. She got happy and delighted after you ate her food. She came to me and hugged me. Young girls love. Ah, my old days. I always notice when a young girl is in love with a boy. By cooking the boy's favourite food."

My face blush. I got up and ran. My father screams.

Father:" Po! Where are you going?"

Po:" I have to do something right!"

I ran to the stairs. I wanted to tell her I loved her. I run more and more. I got to the gates of Palace Jade. I saw Chánjuān and Crane training. I ran to them panting.

Po:" Have you seen (Y/n)?!"

Chánjuān got my shirt and put me down with an angry voice.

Chánjuān:" Didn't you do enough? I thought you were her friend!"

Po:" LOOK! I LOVE HER OK! I ADMIT! I WAS TOO SCARED TO ADMIT THAT I LOVE HER!"

Chánjuān and Crane mouth open. She let me go. And she smirks then.

Chánjuān:" Finally you admit huh? She isn't here, unfortunately."

Po:" You know where she is?"

Chánjuān:" She is teaching little girls how to embroidery, so girls will be entertained."

I got up and ran downstairs. I pant more and look frantically. I passed my dad shop and he was screaming at me again.

Father:" Po! She is that store! *Point* Aiya! I was going to tell you that!"

I pant and saw the store. I enter and see her helping the owner and teaching girls. 

They were doing awesome! (Y/n) was teaching like a pro!

(Y/n) was showing them how they must do it.

 After teaching them and helping the owner. (Y/n) saw me. She got eyes wide and her lips seemed nervous. 

But I went to her and face to face.

Po:" (Y/n)look I am sorry if I have been distant. But I know how you feel. You are far away with your family, you have few friends here. I am here to tell you! You aren't alone! You have your friends! You have my father and me!"

(Y/n) looks at me with worry.

(Y/n):" Po? What is wrong? Look it was because yesterday it's okay. I was tired, and I had a long day."

Po:" No! It was your birthday! My father told me today! No one told me about it. Not even you! I thought we were friends!"

(Y/n):'' Ops. I thought I told you! I failed. But it's okay. I spend time with Chánjuān and your father. Master Shifu was away, and the others were busy playing games. It's okay"

Po: "But I am not feeling okay with this. Let me make this right. Would you like to go on the date with me? Please."

She blushed madly and nodded. I smiled and left.

I prepare myself and then wait for her and see Chánjuān with (Y/n).

Chánjuān:" Are you sure? You will be alright."

(Y/n):" Yeah I will be alright. Don't worry."

Chánjuān:" Okay. PO! Listen here! I want her here before midnight! I will spank your fat ass! If something happens to her! You are dead! Mark my words. Have fun girl!"

She smiles sweetly to (Y/n) and waves us goodbye. Sometimes Chánjuān is scary. How in heaven she the daughter of Master Thundering Rhino

We went out and had dinner at my father's place. We talk and laugh a little. I smile at her. 

(Y/n) was happy. She ate her noodles and drank tea. 

(Y/n) looks at me and smiles. I blush madly. After eating dinner. We walk around the forest and see the beauty of Nature.

 I hold her hand, so she won't be lost. I look at her. She was beautiful as always. I let her sit down on the rock. I show my Kung Fu. I fall sometimes and she would giggle.

 I love her giggles. Her gentleness, her kindness, her courage, her intelligence, her compassion, everything about her, I love her. I feel down because she would be married to a prince. She notices.

(Y/n):" Po? Is everything alright?"

Po:" No, not everything is alright. I know one day you will marry a prince. But this feeling I am feeling. I can't stop them!"

(Y/n): "Which feelings, Po?"

I got frustrated and got up and walked around, and I took a deep breath and looked at her.

Po:" I like you! I mean I love you."

She blushed madly and looked aside. I stay quiet and feel my sweat roll down. I was about to leave. She holds my hand and smiles.

(Y/n):" I love you too. I always loved you since we met for the first time."

Po:" Me too. It was destiny. I swear I will protect you and love you for you are. You are special on your way."

(Y/n) hugs me. I hugged her tight and smiled. We look at each other and kiss. We return to the Palace Jade. Chánjuān was waiting for her. 

 After we said goodbye, she smiled at me and we left our room.

I lay down and smile to myself. I sigh and look aside thinking about her and her lips against mine.
