I was envious of Ginji today. He got to eat Aoi's cooking of the beef I sent in to try to help with her food choice for the Umi-bouzu.

Ginji told me that, apparently, I was her first love. He encouraged her to tell me, but she brushed him off, saying I am who I am. She didn't look impressed by me...then went on to wonder why I would want to marry her and if I could even feel feelings for her when she was the price of a debt. I chuckled at that.

I worried about Aoi as there was a lot of thunder and lightning around today. I know from her childhood that those things scared her.

Ginji notified me that Aoi had collapsed at the food tasting.

He put her to bed in the infirmary with the aid of Tokihiko and chibi. He discovered that Raiju gave her candy and took away her voice and taste.
As expected, Aoi would not stay put. She even agreed to go into the threshold painting to keep up Ranmaru and Ginji's strength.
