Next morning with a new determination, Sameer left for college with Munna Pandit.. Girls also reach college and already there in class before them

Sameer said irritatingly, "yaar tum log thoda jaldi nahin aa sakte the... maine kaha tha na aaj mujhe college jaldi jaana hai" he wants to reach before Naina and to wait for her at gate like earlier days

Pandit, "yaar iss par abhi bhi jaldi jaakar parking mein tere saath time spent karne ka bhoot nahin utara... dekha hamara yaar abhi bhi hum se kitna pyaar karta hai"

Munna said, "haan yaar, lekin ab toh hum ek hi class mein hai aur saara din tu mere saath hi toh baithta hai... phir kis baat ki jaldi thi mujhse milne ki" he was still confused on his behavior seeing him so eager to spend time with him

Sameer, "tum nahin samjhoge... achchha ab chalo.. pehle hi der kara di.."

They reach in class and straight went towards the girls ... Naina was sitting on the same bench where Swati and Preeti were standing beside her and chatting ..

Munna : Good morning Swati... kaisi hai tu... aaj bhi jaldi aa gayi tu mujhse pehle

Swati making irritated face "vaisi hi hoon jaisi kal thi.. kyun kuchh badal jaata hai kya ek hi din mein"

Munna : Kya ho gaya... itna bhadak kyun rahi hai... subah subah karela kha kar aayi hai kya.. dekh rahi hai Naina apni saheli ke tevar... kuchh sikha isse" he said to Naina in a complaining tone

Swati (in angry tone): Naina kya sikhayegi.. tumne kabhi apane aap ko dekha hai... kahan the tum kal raat ko... phone karne wale the na mujhe... pata hai aadhi raat tak tumhare phone ka wait karti rahi par nahin janaab ko to hosh hi nahin tha...

Munna hit his forehead, "arey baap re.. mar gaya... sorry sorry yaar voh kal ghar mein kuchh guest aa gaye the dinner par is liye bhool gaya.. sorry na maaf karde iss baar... aage se aisi galti kabhi nahin hogi" seeing him feeling sorry Swati turned soft

Pandit (to get some fun), "par Munna tu toh kah raha tha ki kal ghar par akele bore ho raha tha.. uncle aunty kahin baahar gaye huye hai aur tu toh shayad kal shaam ko akele ghar mein movie dekh raha tha na"

Munna hit on his arm, "abey pagal hai kya, jhuth mat bol... marwayega kya.. dekh kaise bhookhi sherni ki tarah mujhe dekh rahi hai... jaise kachcha hi kha jaayegi"

Swati shouts, "bhookhi sherni... hmmm, aaj tum nahin bachoge... aaj toh maar hi dalungi..." they all started chasing each other and Munna tried to hide himself ... Preeti tried to stop Swati and they all had fun...

While having fun, Munna ran outside the class after Pandit : aaj tu nahin bachega mujhse pandit... jab dekho aag lagata rehta hai..."

Swati runs after Munna : Aaj tumhein nahin chhodungi... ruko tum... ab dikhati hun bhukhi sherni kya hoti hai... jhuthe kahin ke"

Preeti runs to stop Swati, "arey ruk jaa swati, dekh Pandit bakwaas kar raha hai... aaj toh gaya Munna kaam se"

Sameer and Naina were left alone in class and seeing the chance Sameer move towards her...

Sameer smilingly greets her, "Good morning Naina"

Naina hesitantly looked at him for a second and replied nervously "Hi.. Good morning"

Sameer (with full confidence) : ek baat puchhni thi tumse... jawaab dogi..."

Naina (Surprisingly look at him) : Kya.. kya puchhna hai tumhein...

Sameer with mischievous glint in his eyes leaned slightly towards her desk "yaar ek saal mein kya mein itna badal gaya hun ki tum mujhe pehchan bhi nahin pa rahi ho... ya shayad meri shakal aur naam hi bhool gayi ho"

Naina nervously stammered and looks down, "nahin .. nahin toh... aisi koi baat nahin... voh bas aise hi time hi nahin mila..."

Before Sameer further said anything all gang came back in class laughing...

Munna : arey yaar subah subah itna bhaga diya .. ab to bhookh lag rahi hai

Preeti : kitne bhukkad ho tum log... abhi JBR ki class hai... usake baad chalenge...

JBR enters in class and unwillingly they all settled on their seats... Sameer was smiling on his first victory... Munna look towards him and ask irritatingly pressing his arm, "yaar tere dost ko itna maara, itna bhagaya aur tu khush ho raha hai... bachaane nahin aa sakta tha... dhokhebaaz"

Sameer (smiling) "Thanks, Munna... aaj teri wajah se mujhe jo mila hai voh mein tujhe bata bhi nahin sakta..."

Munna making weird face, "bada ajeeb hai yaar tu...... mein aur pandit itani buri tarah se pit gaye aur tujhe majaa aa raha hai... dekh lenge beta tujhe... teri girlfriend aane de.. phir dekhna kaise maje lenge hum log bhi..."

JBR throw chalk piece on them: Keep quiet otherwise I will throw you all out...

They get quiet but Sameer was happy that at least he didn't miss this chance to talk to her. He rests his cheeks on his palms and staring her madly as if no one is there around him. he keep smiling alone like a fool thinking, "yaar baat karne se toh bilkul bhi naraaj nahin lagi.. mein aise hi darr gaya tha... chalo shuruaat to hui... aage bhi sab theek hi hoga... well done Sameer beta... keep it up .. 😊"

Naina was totally lost now and not able to concentrate on what happening in class, "yeh kya ho raha hai... ab kyun usse mujhse baat karni thi... ab kya karun.. kaise dur rahungi usase.. aur paas bhi nahin ja sakti... ek baar apne dil ko sambhal chuki hun par agli baar shaayad khud ko na sanbhal paaun.. toot jaaungi mein is baar... bhagwan meri kismat mein hi yeh sab likhna tha... na usase dur rah pa rahi hun aur na hi usake paas jaa sakti hun.. hamari najdikiyaan hum donon ko sirf dukh hi dengi.. aur voh mein nahin dekh sakti... she smiled thinking, "vaise aaj pehli baar usane mera naam liya tha... pehli baar apne naam se pyar ho gaya mujhko"

Class ends and JBR left... all headed outside the class as next two periods were free due to some Teachers meeting...

Munna : Yaar vaise hi pet mein chuhe daud rahe the aur bacha kucha dimaag yeh JBR kha gaya... ab chalo mujhe bahut bhookh lagi hai.....

Preeti (to Naina in low voice) : Tu bhi chal na please... dekh mein hun na tere saath..." Preeti was unaware of Samaina morning interaction...

Naina : Nahin Preeti.. please tu ja... mein theek hun aur mujhe bhookh bhi nahin hai.....

Sameer gets an idea & said loudly, "yaar chalo na sab... bahut bhookh lagi hai... aur thodi der mein next class bhi shuru ho jayegi"

All left Naina alone in class... she was totally distressed in all happening around.. she decided to leave before all come back as she has left with no energy to face him again, at least today, after his successful attempt of talking to her...

Once all got settled in canteen.....

Sameer (in his mind) : mujhe pata hai madam phir ghar bhaagne ki taiyari mein hogi.. par aaj tum nahin bach sakti mujhse Naina Madam.. I am coming... ab jab baat shuru hui hai to aage tak toh jayegi... aakhir ek din isi tarah apna pyaar bhi toh dikhana hai tumhein" he smirks and get excused from all for using washroom...

After he left, Preeti said, "yaar Naina ke bina khaane ka dil nahin kar raha akele..."

Pandit replied, "ek idea hai, mein jaldi se order deta hun phir class mein chal kar uske saath hi kha lenge... mujhe bhi achchha nahin lagta roj usey yun akele class mein chhod kara ana" all agreed instantly and Munna pandit left to give order on counter...

Sameer run towards class as doesn't want to miss this chance to meet her in alone... he was more encouraged after his first attempt got successful in morning

Here Naina also wraps up her bag and starts to leave before they came back... she stood going out from the class oblivious of other person who was all excitedly running towards the calls to not to miss the chance...

Theyboth are in so much hurry that didn't see anywhere, even not to each other andbang on each other... just to protect each other from falling down, heunknowingly held her from shoulder after bombarding ... they twirl around witheyes on eyes... but finally, they both lost their balance and fell together...

Sameer (In his mind): Yaar, aaj kuchh aur bhi maangta toh mil jaata... aaj siddha voh meri baahon mein, mere itane kareeb.. khud ko kaise rokun.. uska chehre mere kitna kareeb tha...

His trance broke when suddenly he lifted his eyes towards her and shocked to see her misty eyes with a lone tear drop on her cheeks... he reprimands himself, "oh shit! lagta hai usse lag gayi hai... mein bhi kuchh jyaada hi excited ho gaya tha"

Sameer stood up and try to go towards her whensome metallic thing stuck on his foot... he looked down and there was a crutchlying on the ground...

Here Naina was looking down and not even trying to get up ... Sameer was about to say but words stuck up in his throat.

Color drained out of Sameer's face, and he began to step back slightly, shaking his head in disbelief, "no... no... this cannot be possible"

Sameer stood there for a few minutes, trying to regain his lost strength and old sense of life. The latter didn't seem possible though.

Naina lifts her eyes up and look towards him but stunned seeing his reaction. She tried to get up but again collapsed as she needed support to get up and remain standing on her feet. She felt something steer in his eyes. For just a moment, something like pain or disappointment, she can't figure it out clearly.

Sameer got freeze and standing there only... when suddenly Preeti shouts from his back....

Preeti, "Nainaaaa... kya hua tujhe... tu yahaan aise... gir kaise gayi..."

All rushed towards her and helped her to get up... Pandit came forward and pick up her crutch which was lying near Sameer's foot and give it back to Naina.

Sameer was numb and standing like a statue... he has lost all his senses and ability to think...

Munna looks towards Sameer and jerk him, "Sameer kya hua yahaan... tu kuchh bol kyun nahin raha..."

He came back to his senses and look towards her. Her face was fully covered with tears and Preeti & Swati was trying to console her.

Suddenly he turned and rush out from the class ... Munna surprised to see his behavior and run after him, "Sameer ruk.... ruk na kya hua yaar..." he rushed after him seeing his strange behavior

Preeti asked, "Naina kyaa hua kuchh batayegi... pehle rona bandh kar.. aur tujhe lagi toh nahin kahin"

Naina crying hard shook her head, "Please Preeti, mujhe ghar jaana hai... please ghar chal... mein aur yahaan nahin rah sakti..."

Pandit asked concernedly "Naina tu theek hai na.. tujhe kahin lagi to nahin.. Preeti, tu isse ghar leja aur iska dhyan rakhna... chalo mein auto karwa deta hun..." he was feeling distressed seeing all this mess and unable to support her friend when she needed the most

Deciding to go back home early, they all left the class and went towards gate. They took auto and left for home. Naina was quiet and Swapree didn't ask much as don't want to disturb her anymore.

Sameer reached to ground and sit on the ground with thud..... panting heavily... he was sweating too much but not bothered for all this... his mind was totally numb for what he saw few minutes back...

Munna reached to him and asked, "tujhe kya hua...... tu aise bhaag kyun aaya vahaan se..."

Sameer blankly looked him and didn't respond. Munna further asked holding his arm, "aur yeh kya tha... kya harkat thi yeh.... tu Naina ki itani si help bhi nahin kar paya... haath pakad kar utha nahin sakta tha, aise butt ban kar kyun khada khada ghoor raha tha usse, aur phir bhaag kar yahaan aa gaya..."

Sameer got stunned listening this and without saying anything he left from there ...

Pandit came back after sending girls, "arey ab yeh kahan chala gaya..."

Munna : Pata nahin yaar kuchh samajh nahin aa raha... vahaan Naina gir gayi.. idhar isko pata nahin kaun sa daura pad gaya hai.. kuchh bol hi nahin raha... vaise Naina kahaan hai.. theek to hai na"

Pandit : Haan.. voh Preeti, Swati usse lekar ghar chali gayi hai...

Munna : Chal jara hum bhi isse dekhe ab isse kya hua hai..

Saying this they took an auto and left for Sameer's house...
