Engagement day---

The people in the house are all busy in the preparations of the sagaai.. all girls decided to get ready at one place itself and called a beautician to get ready for the big day. Boys decided to move to farm house a day in advance to check for the preparations... elders too joined them in early morning and after fully satisfied with the preparations, they all went to their rooms to get ready... girls family also reach there one by one and lastly Varun & Arjun bring all four girls with Pooja & Poorva, they gets down and went to the room decided for the girls to stay and rest before function starts...

Farmhouse was fully decorated with colorful flowers and all decoration was done in pink, red and white combination colors. The huge entry was made up of red & white satin cloth with fresh roses all around.. Air coolers were placed at few distance to keep the lawn airy and cool to avoid scorching heat during day...

Taiji Tauji got shocked seeing the decoration and arrangements. They tried to be as sweet as possible to show their love and concern whereas Phulla bua knowing their nature didn't leave them alone, "arey o Beena, idhar aa aur mere paas baith... pata laga akele chhoda toh khaane par hi na toot pade... hum ladki wale hai par tujhe toh koi sharam lihaaj hai nahin bilkul"...

Taiji murmured, "O bai, ab ghar par toh itna kaam karwaya, do din se sabka khaana peena mujhse banwa rahi hai aur dekho yahaan bhi kuchh khaane nahin de rahi.. ab koi Pooja mein thode hi na aaye hai jo vrat rakhenge"

Buaji teased her, "kya boli tu... vrat... tera vrat rakhne ka man tha toh pehle kyun nahin bataaya tu ne... chal theek hai aaj tu nirjala vrat rakh hi le bachchon ki khushiyon ki prarthna ke liye... tu chinta mat kar mein poora dhyan rakhungi ki tujhe koi khaane ka puchh kar pareshaan na kare... aur haan tu ek kaam kar, jab tak function khatam nahin ho jaata tu yahin mere paas baith kar 1001 baar Gayatri mantra ka jaap kar... shubh hota hai... bachchon ko bhagwan ka aashirwaad milega.. vaise bhi mujhe pata hai ki tu jyaada padi likhi toh hai nahin toh tere liye ginti mein khud kar dungi... chal shuru ho ja... shabaash pehli baar koi punya ka kaam kar rahi hai"🤣😘   

Buaji make her sit next to her and laugh silently to see her murmuring and doing jaap unwillingly... she thinks, "isse busy rakhungi tabhi saara kaam shanti se sampann hoga varna kahin koi vighan na daal de yeh moti... kisi ka achchha sochna iske bas ki baat nahin... vaise bhi Sameer ne kaha tha Anand se ki voh nahin chahta iska saaya bhi Naina ke aas paas ho, na hi voh iske haathon se teeka karwana chahta hai... aakhir isne itne dukh jo diye hai us masoom ko, ab iski baari hai saja paane ki..." 

All boys dressed up in ethnic wear on Nanu's instance.... Munna making grumpy face, "Yaar yeh galat hai ki function se pehle hum mil bhi nahin sakte.. ek baar dekh lenge toh in badon ka kya jayega"... Rohan also make faces, "yaar vaise bhi Preeti ko kabhi aise taiyar huye nahin dekha, pehli baar dekhunga, mujhse toh intzaar hi nahin ho raha... dekhu toh sahi meri lady bheem kaisi lag rahi hogi..." Pandit lost in his dreamland, "pata nahin mera samosa kaisa lag raha hoga... pata nahin us ne subah se kuchh khaaya bhi hai ki nahin.... mujhe toh soch soch kar hi bhukh lag rahi hai..."

Nanu came and smiled seeing all of them, "kya baat hai, aaj toh mere Rajkumar samay se pehle taiyar bhi ho gaye... voh bhi bina shor machaye.." he hugged them all and blessed... he asked them all to go out as pandit ji is calling them... when all were leaving, he hold Sameer back with him... he cupped his face in his palms, kissed on his forehead, "aaj tune jo Khushi mujhe di hai, usake liye tujhe jitna bhi aashirwad dun kam hai... jab se accident hua tha ek chubhan si thi dil mein, raaton ko so nahin pata tha sukoon se yeh soch kar ki kya hoga Naina ka bhavishya.. par tu ne toh aaj mujhe mere har dard se mukti de di.. jeeta reh, bhagwan tujhe mere hisse ki bhi har Khushi de, gam ki parchhayi bhi na chhu paaye tum donon ko.. bas tu kabhi meri beti ka saath mat chhodna.." he hugged him tightly... they both came out and join the family...

All boys greet the families and after taking their blessings, sit on big stage made for all of them, two seater's big decorated swings placed for each couple close to each other... Pooja came and said something, audible to Sameer only, he left with her making some excuse from others even when Vishakha tried to stops him, "Sameer ab kahaan ja rahe ho, dekho rasam shuru karne ka waqt ho raha hai... yahin ruko..." he turned and replied, "bas abhi aaya mummy.. do minute" he rushed inside leaving her in anger, "pakka Naina ke pichhe hi gaya hoga... jab dekho usake aage pichhe hi ghumta rehta hai.. auron ki toh parwah hi nahin hai isse..."

He came to girl's room where Naina was alone and all were waiting outside.. Preeti said worriedly, "Sameer ab tum hi sambhalo isse, bohot nervous ho rahi hai .. room ke baahar bhi nahin aa rahi" he assures her and went inside the room alone...

Naina was standing alone facing towards mirror, her back at the door.. he came slowly and encircle his hand around his waist and hug her from back, looking into mirror he whispers, "aaj mera sapna sach hokar meri baahon mein aa gaya hai... aaj ka shubh din mubaraq ho meri jaan"... he kissed on her shoulder.... she closed her eyes feeling shy looking down, he slowly turned her towards him and lift her chin with her fingers to see her beautiful face... he took a step back and stunned to see her in his Nani's Saree which Nanu gifted her on Diwali... she was looking gorgeously beautiful in heavy orange and green traditional banarasi silk saree with broad golden and green border, a gold chain with heavy pendant and matching jhumki's, a small maang tika on her forehead, both hands filled with matching bangles, a small bindi on her forehead, hair open but slightly curled at the end, bright red lipstick on her luscious lips making it more alluring...... he got mesmerized seeing her in this look which was beyond his imagination even... he leaned to her and kissed on her forehead, "aaj tumhein kahin meri hi nazar na lag jaaye Naina... kyun mere masoom se dil se khel rahi ho, kuchh toh taras khaaya hota..... tumhein aise dekh kar toh mera bhi baahar jaane ka man nahin ho raha.. mein nahin chahta koi aur tumhein iss roop mein dekhe, iss par toh sirf mera haq hai na...."she feels his intense gaze on her and hugged him tightly... they lost in each other till they heard a knock on the door... they parted when Pooja came inside and said, "Sameer Pandit ji bula rahe hai... chalo"... he hold her hand to go but felt her shivering nervously, while taking first step she trembled but instantly he hold her to support, he turned to Pooja, "didi aap sab chalo, mein aur Naina aa rahe hai ek saath... bas do minute"... Pooja nodded and left... he turned to her and make her sit on chair, he sits in front of her, "Kya huya Naina, itna kyun darr rahi ho.. mein hun na tumhare saath.. aur sach aaj tum itni sundar lag rahi ho ki jo dekhega dekhta hi rah jayega"... she lowered her eyes and said, "Sameer meri himmat nahin ho rahi baahar aane ki... bohot ghabrahat ho rahi hai... yahaan tak aa gayi par ab baahar jaane se darr lag raha hai" he hold her hand and said looking into her eyes, "mujh par vishwas hai na, toh phir kya ghabrana... bus mera haath thaame rehna phir dekhna kuchh mushkil nahin lagega... apne man ko kamjor mat padne do, chalo mere saath, aaj hamari zindagi ki ek nayi shuruaat hai... agar tumhein kamjor padne diya toh yeh toh mere pyaar ki haar hogi na, aur mujhe pata hai tum mujhe kabhi haarne nahin dogi... bolo dogi na mera saath..." she looked at him lovingly and stood holding his hand firmly, feels bit relaxed, smiled... they moved out towards the garden where all were waiting for them to start the rituals....

All couples were already sitting on the stage and waiting for Samaina... they entered in garden area and all turned to look at them... Nanu got surprised seeing her in Nani's saree, came forward and blessed her with watery eyes, "aaj tujhe aise dekh kar teri Nani ki yaad aa gayi... bilkul uska hi roop lag rahi hai"... they took his blessing and went to stage, joining others...

Pandit ji came and starts reading mantras.. firstly, Anand does the ritual and did Teeka of Sameer and Rohan one by one and offered them gifts, followed by Swati and Priya's fathers... later Vishakha unwillingly does the teeka of Naina and Preeti and give them Sarees and jewellery, same followed by Mundit's mothers... all took their blessings...

Now it was time for the exchange of rings... Pralay & Deepika came with rings placed beautifully in decorated thaali... one by one all couples exchange the rings and ceremony completes... Deepika happily came with a thaali filled with sweets and offered them, they all picked up the sweets and feed each other but Samaina eats from one piece only saying, "jhutha khaane se pyaar badta hai"... all gets happy and congratulate each other and took blessings from all elders... they clicked so many pictures to make the day more memorable with group, with parents and some alone couple pictures...

All starts enjoying party while dancing with their partners. Sameer refused to dance as not willing to leave her alone even for a minute... Naina tried to convince him, "jaao na Sameer please, dekho sab kya sochenge"... he replied, "kya sochenge.. yehi na ki dekho kitna pyaar karta hai apni hone wali biwi se, ek minute bhi alag nahin rah sakta... achchha hai na sab busy hai dance mein toh mujhe tumhare saath waqt milega akele, varna kabhi Deepika, kabhi Poonam Bhabhi, koi na koi aakar tumse chipak jaata hai..... bas mere siwa sab ko mauka mil raha hai"... he makes a grumpy face to make her laugh... "tum na poore dramebaaj ban gaye ho bilkul Preeti ki tarah...."... she hit slightly on his arm and laugh...

Rohan Preeti came and pull them both on dance floor... they stands in between and all dance circling them... even elders also joined them... Sameer was tightly holding her from shoulder to ensure her safe whereas she was feeling so shy and enjoying whole heartedly to have such a wonderful family and loving friends..... later Sameer took her back from the stage leaving them enjoying and dancing....

Gang join them back and insist both to sing a song, on which Sameer agreed on a condition that if Naina can sing with him only... they sing a duet looking into each other eyes... completely lost oblivious to their surrounding...

A thunder round of applause take them back in the world.... Sameer leaned to her and said, "Naina I promise ki aaj ke baad mein kabhi bhi gaaunga toh sirf tumahre saath varna nahin..." she looked him all smiling, "aur mein bhi... vaada.."

Vishakha was getting more annoyed seeing them together, "dekho iss ladki ki wajah se mera Sameer bhi akele baitha tha, varna sab ke saath dance kar raha hota na.." Prabha adding more fuel, "didi aapne dekha kaise Kakiji ki itni mehengi saree iss ladki ne aaj pehni hui hai... sabka dil jeetna toh koi isase seekhe.. kaise sabko bewkoof bana rakha hai isane apni meethi meethi baaton mein..." Taiji who was crossing from there taking excuse of using washroom from Phulla bua listened their talks, smirked evilly, "vohi toh sochun ki kaise itane paise wale logon ko voh karamjali pasand aa gayi... yeh sab toh sirf apne bete ki zid poori kar rahe hai, varna khush toh koi nahin hai iss ladki se rishta jod kar... mauka milane do, aise parr katrungi ki sab udna bhool jayegi..."

Whereas love birds were totally lost in their own world... Sameer whispers, "Naina, tumhein pata hai aaj tumne mujhe meri zindagi ka best gift diya hai, sachchi aaj mein bohot khush hun" she feels shy and looked at him, "Sameer agar aaj mein tumse kuchh maangu toh doge, inkaar toh nahin karoge na"... he looked at her surprisingly, "Naina, aisa kya hai jo tumhein lagta hai ki mein mana karunga... tum toh meri zindagi ho, meri har cheej par tumhara haq hai, jo chahe maang lo"... she smiled and hold his hand, "Sameer kya tum mere kehne par ek baar Mr Somani aur apne rishte ko ek mauka de sakte ho.. maine dekha hai unki aankhon mein, kitna pachhtava hai unhein, voh tumhein gale lagana chahte hai par ruk jaate hai ki shayad tumhein achchha na lage.. please ek baar koshish toh karo..." he looked at her amazingly, "tumhein pata hai na mein tumhein kisi baat ke liye mana nahin karta... Naina mein vaada nahin karta par koshish karunga"... then only Varun Pooja came to call them for lunch... they joined all others and enjoy lunch while feeding to each other...

They all enjoyed lavish lunch all filled with love, fun and laughter leaving few one's who were not happy at all... Buaji make sure that Taiji should not eat anything and complete her vrat strictly...

After lunch all planned to go back when Sameer requested Nanu to allow all couples to stay back for few hours more, "Nanu please na, aap kuchh kijiye.. hum log bas ek-do ghante mein hi vaapas aa jayenge.. please thodi der ke liye...." Nanu smiled and tells all, "chaliye hum log chalte hai... bachche thodi der masti karke aa jayenge, ab sagaai huyi hai toh celebration toh banta hai na... ismein hum badon ka kya kaam.. hum chalte hai"... he turned to boys, "meri bahuon ka khyal rakhna aur jaldi se sabko unke ghar chhod aana samjhe"...

All couple take blessings from all elders before they left from farm house... Naina looked at Sameer with pleading eyes mouthed, "please"... he sigh heavily, hold her hand and move to Vivek... they both bent together to take his blessings but Vivek stopped them in between and hugged them tightly.... making Vishakha and Nanu surprised... Sameer feels bit awkward but later hugged him back, making him smile.... Vivek whispers to them, "jeete raho aur hamesha ek saath khush raho"... his eyes brimmed with tears with a smile on his face...Naina replied cutely, "thanks uncle" he smiled and said, "uncle nahin Papa... tum toh meri beti ho aur hamesha rahogi bilkul Deepika ki tarah..." he kissed on her forehead... Nanu's eyes turned misty looking at the bond, he turned to Vishakha, "dekha Vishakha, laakhon mein ek hai Naina... sabko apna banana achchhe se janati hai, rishton ki kadr hai usse... abhi bhi waqt hai usse dil se apna lo, dekhna tumhein kitni Khushi milegi"... Vishakha left with Prabha still not getting convinced... all left leaving couple alone...

The function finally came to an end with a blessed feeling of togetherness for all couples...
