The monsoon was making its presence and light showers to heavy downpours were becoming a regular affair... it was a windy day and since morning it was drizzling promising a heavy rainfall anytime. Most of the students were either on leave or spending some lonely time with their love ones.....

Nanu catches slight fever with more of cough and cold which makes Rohan and Sameer to stay back at home to take care of him. Preeti & Priya were also not feeling much well so prefers to stay at home only.. Anand drop Naina and Swati in college and they saw Munna Pandit standing at parking waited for them...

Naina asked, "Munna Sameer kahaan hai.. Rohan bhi nahin aaya"... Munna informed that Nanaji is not well so they are staying back at home only, "voh Sameer tujhe phone kar raha tha par shayad tumhara number nahin mila, isiliye usane mujhse kaha ki tujhe bata dun, varna tu chinta karegi".. Naina, "haan voh kal se baarish ki wajah se hamara phone dead ho gaya hai... shayad shaam tak theek ho jaaye"..

They all move to class, but she was restless and seems lost with two reasons.. firstly, Nanu was not well and secondly she was missing him. After one lecture JBR announced that there will be no more classes today as being a teacher's meeting today...

Swati "yaar meri tabiyat bhi theek nahin lag rahi, mein toh ghar jaa rahi hun, ab koi class bhi nahin hai... Naina tu bhi chalegi na.. viase bhi lagta hai baarish phir se shuru hone wali hai..."

Naina, "Pandit agar tu free hai toh mere saath chalega Nanu ko dekhne" Swati teased her, "Nanu ya Sameer.. kya baat hai ek din bhi nahin raha jaata usase mile bina" they all teased her and they all left from college... Munna offered Swati to drop her back home...

Naina & Pandit took an auto and reached Maheshwari house.. she was about to press the doorbell when Sameer opened the door all smiling, "welcome .. welcome... mujhe pata tha tum aane hi wali ho... dekha mere bina dil nahin laga na ek din bhi college mein"... she smiled and to tease him, "tumse nahin Nanu se milne aayi hun... unki tabiyat kharaab hai na"... he winked to her, "bahana achchaa hai.. par koi nahin finally faayda toh mera hi hua na.... mujhe bhi tumhari yaad aa rahi thi... itna romantic Mausam aur hum dur dur... yeh toh anyaay hai na iss dil ke saath..." they laughed then only Pandit came, "bhai andar bhi chal le... saari aahsiqui yahin darwaje par hi karega kya.. kahin bhi shuru ho jaate ho yaar tum donon"... Sameer hit on his head, "chup kar... khud ko toh sharam nahin aati, kahin bhi aa jaata hai kabaab mein haddi ban kar.."

They came to Nanu's room who was sitting on his bed resting his head on headrest, she went and stand beside him, "Nanu ab aap kaise ho" she touched his head which was not too warm, "arey beta kuchh nahin bas thodi si sardi hui hai... in donon ne toh mujhe kamre mein hi bandh kar diya hai.. kahin jaane nahin de rahe"... Sameer, "haan tabhi toh tabiyat itni theek hui hai varna toh poori raat so bhi nahin paa rahe the khansi ki wajah se"... Rohan came excitedly, "arey Naina tum aa gayi... chalo achchha hai ab vahi tasty vali khichdi toh milegi"... all looked at him and laughed on his antics, Nanu chuckled, "achchha ji toh voh us din bhi khaana Naina ke haathon ka hi tha jab tum donon bimaar the... toh beta chal aaj mujhe bhi khila de... iss Ramdhari ke haath ka kha kha kar toh munh ka swad vaise hi bigad gaya hai".. she smiled and nodded in yes, "abhi laayi par usse pehle aapko mere haath ka kada peena padega... jhat se khaansi jukaam gaayab ho jayega".. she went to kitchen followed by Sameer and prepare kaada for Nanu...

Nanu gets emotional, "aaj tumhari Nani ki yaad aa gayi, voh bhi bilkul aise hi kaada banati thi" Naina smiled, "yeh mujhe Chachiji ne sikhaya hai.. ab dekhna kitni jaldi aap theek ho jayenge" Nanu drinks kaada and laid down to rest thinking, "bhagwaan jald se jald isse hamare ghar ki Lakshmi bana dijiye... yehi hai jo mere ghar ko khushiyon se bhar degi aur mere Sameer ko zindagi bhar sambhal sakti hai ... mere baad mera bachcha akela nahin rahega"... he slept after getting relieved...

Sameer, "kya baat hai... jaadu hai tumhare haathon mein.. kal poori raat nanu theek se nahin so paaye aur dekho ab aaraam se so rahe hai".. they smiled and left the room to not disturb his sleep.. she prepared khichdi for Nanu and normal food for others insisted by Rohan, teased to Ramdhari, "kuchh seekh Bhabhi se.. dekh kitna achchha banati hai aur ek tu hai... achchha khaasa insaan bimaar ho jaaye tere haath ke khaane se toh.." he replied back, "theek hai bhaiya... kal bataunga jab mere haath ki nayi dish khaani padegi na... maine kal hi seekhi hai.." they all hit their forehead with their palms and shout, "ek aur nayi dish... marwayega ek din.."

Naina turned to him, "Sameer maine Nanu ke liye khichdi bana di hai, jab uthenge khila dena, ab mein chalti hoon".. Sameer, "Naina nahin aise akele kaise jaogi, dekho Mausam kaise badal raha hai, baarish hone wali hai, chalo mein chhod aata hun, tab tak Rohan aur Pandit Nanu ka khyaal rakh lenge"... saying this he picked up the car keys and they came out.. he ignited the engine, but it didn't start...

Sameer, "shit yaar lagta hai car kharaab ho gayi hai, aur Nanu ki car servicing par gayi hai, ab kya karen"

Naina tried to convince him as knowing well that he catches cold fast, "Sameer tum pareshaan mat ho, mein auto dekh leti hoon... thodi der mein mil hi jayega... dekho baarish bhi ruki hui hai abhi.. vaise bhi aar tum bheeg gaye toh bimaar ho jaaoge.."

Sameer, "Naina kaisi baatein kar rahi ho, mein tumhein aise mausam mein akele nahin jaane de sakta... aur agar Nanu ko pata chala toh meri khair nahin... chalo mein jaldi se tumhein bike par chod aata hun, abhi baarish bhi nahin ho rahi" saying this he rushes inside and get the bike keys and they both left immediately...

They just crossed two lanes when suddenly winds started blowing loudly, difficult to drive anymore due to rain which started pouring heavily down on them. Sameer parked his bike in roadside. They get down and move to a shelter to avoid drenching themselves. He was securely holding her from shoulder but till they reach under a shed, they were fully drenched. The cool breeze swishing around them make them slightly shiver and for craving to be in each other embrace heating up their skin.

Sameer nervously, "tum theek ho.. sorry voh bike par aane ki wajah se tum poori bheeg gayi..." she smiled back, "it's okay... abhi baarish ruk jayegi tab tak wait kar lete hai yahin par"... it was heavy thunder storm and she was shivering a lot with cold and thundering loudly in sky making her shivered more as somewhere she is scare of thundering and lightning... seeing her scared he immediately pulled her towards him and took her in his embrace tightly rubbing her back to calm her.. feeling warmth of his body, she relaxed... standing so close to each other they can hear their racing hearts and both their hearts beating in one rhythm.. she shivered more at his burning gaze on her wet body as her dress has cling to her body. They both kept looking at each other standing under a shed not visible to passersby easily... he said in husky tone,

Pehli baarish ka nasha hi kuchh alag hota hai,

Palkon ko chute hi seedha Dil pe asar hota hai...

Mehka mehka saawan aaj is dil ko behla raha hai,

Gumsum si najron ko aaj yeh pyaar karna sikha raha hai...

They parted a bit feeling bit shy but stands closely enjoying the weather as the rain streaming down heavily, both feeling the warmth of their tightly joined hands and the smell of hot tea selling at a nearby stall..

Sameer, "Naina thand lag rahi hai na... Chai piogi.. voh dekho vahaan ek stall hai... tum ruko mein abhi laaya"... saying this he run towards the stall before she stops him and get one hot streaming glass of tea covered with his hands.. "kya karte ho.. tum aur bheeg gaye na.. bimaar padna hai kya..." she showed her concern but melt seeing his killing smile, "itni hot ladki saath hai, thand kaise lagegi... Chai pee lo varna thandi ho jayegi.." he forwards the glass to her, "tum nahin piyoge.. dekho tumhein bhi thand lag rahi hai" she holds his hand, "tumhare saath hi share kar lunga.. kehte hai na jhutha khaane se pyaar badta hai.. chalo thoda aur badaate hai" he winked to her making blush..

They took sip from same glass only, one by one looking into each other's eyes, after finishing he went to return the glass. He was coming back to her when he saw few boys passing nearby staring at her retreating figure, which gets unnoticed by her as she was looking to him only with a wide smile on her face. Sameer felt a sharp pang of jealousy, he couldn't take it anymore, so he rushed towards her and stands closely trying to cover her from prying eyes of passersby. His reaction makes her conscious as unknowingly he was standing dangerously close to her holding her from her waist, her dress was stuck to her body and turned bit transparent... oblivious to his surroundings, he couldn't stop staring at her without blinking his eyes, seeing her beautiful and innocent face, her long lashes, her hazel eyes, and some of her hair strands stuck on her face... his fingers itched to touch her red turned cheeks but he immediately closed his eyes to control the storm brewing inside him.

Sameer's heart skipped a bit, feeling her so close to him. She was looking so adorably cute that it was hard for him to control his emotions which were urging him to kiss her. Naina unaware of his not so masoom thoughts looked at him lovingly, and said huskily, "I love you Sameer" he opened his eyes and pulled her closer in his embrace and kissed the top of her head, "I love you too" he slightly leaned to her face, his lips so close to her cheeks when Naina got shivered due to his close proximity, his breathe on her face, she closed her eyes tightly... he saw her quivering lips, her shivering hands, her shut eyes, he looked around in amazement, luckily no one was seeing them, he composed himself and take a step back, she open her eyes when no longer she feel his erratic breathing on her face, looking down feels shy and blushing.... he still couldn't stop himself staring at her red cheeks, trembling lips stretching to smile at him. She looks so beautiful even without any make-up.. Naina too admiring his handsome smiling face. They both lost in admiring each other...

They stood there for few more minutes when rain stopped, and they start back their journey silently. Holding him from shoulder on bike was somehow not easy for her this time. Sameer felt her hand missing on his shoulder, he said softly, "Naina please theek se pakdo varna gir jaogi, baarish ki wajah se kaafi paani hai sadak par... gaddho ka pata nahin chal raha.." She hesitantly put her hand on his shoulder, hold him tightly. But she turned her face away slightly from the mirror, hiding herself behind his shoulders.

Sameer reprimand himself, "kya karta hai idiot .. thoda sa toh control karna chahiye tha... paas gaya tha ki duniya ki najaron se bachayega aur khud ka kya... khud se kaise bachayega... seedha gale lagaya aur kiss kar di... aur to aur aage bhi bad kar seedha uske gaal par bhi karne wala tha... dekha kaise kaanp gayi thi ek dam se, lagta hai ghabra gayi... ab kaise najaren milaunga.. sorry bolun kya... pata nahin kaise react karegi... itni bhi kya jaldi padi thi duffer tujhko..... ab bhugto... kitni chup baithi hai.. kuchh nahin bol rahi.. ab kaise pata karun kahin naraaz toh nahin hai..." they reached near her home quietly, didn't utter a single word..... she gets down and move ahead two steps but turned back, came close to his bike, "Sameer... I trust you" she said straight looking into his eyes with her usual cute innocent smile.. she left and he was seeing her going with a contented smile on his lips, he mouthed, "Thank you"

Ruffling his hair hairs through hands, he smiled widely and starts his bike to left for home.... feeling blessed to have such a loving life partner who never judge him wrong in any circumstances..... "kaise aaj bhi bina kahe mere dil ki pareshaani samajh gayi, shayad isse hi dil se dil ka connection kehte hai.... thank you bhagwan ji isse meri zindagi mein bhejne ke liye.. yeh rishta mere liye sabse anmol hai, jiski hifazat mein zindagi bhar karunga... apni jaan se bhi jyaada.."
