"Her phantom-like smile
her eyes of fatal blue,
the moonlight of her misty hair."
-Renée vivien
(Listen to "don't let me be misunderstood" - kill bill)
He drove insane; like the maniac he was. The wind flowed through my short brown hair as we were the only ones on that deserted road-pastures of green grass on both sides.
"Taehyung could you please slow down!" I screamed as he looked at me with a smirk.
"You want music !? Very well then!" He shouted knowing darn well that's not what I said.
His finger pressed the button on the vintage stereo as the music began to rage. The rhythmic guitar strumming creating classic rock vibrations.
Though I did enjoy his taste in music, the scorching sun was blinding my eyes in his classic convertible. The wind causing them to water and withdrawing my breath.
"Taeh—"
"Baby, don't you know I'm human
And I've got thoughts like any other man," he sang to the song. Through the green tinted shades on the bridge of his nose, he glanced at me. "But I'm just a soul who's intentions are good Oh Lord, please don't let me be misunderstood."
I squinted my eyes as I roughly slapped his shoulder. "Slow the hell down!" I screamed causing him to pull over quickly screeching the tires and bring the car to a halt.
Holy fuck what have I done?
He stopped at the side of the desolate road. Taking off his glasses he looked at me with furrowed eyebrows, he took my face in his hand gripping it tightly.
"Do not hit me again."
My jaw clenched in his grasp and I mustered up the courage to speak "Let me go Taehyung!"
"Excuse me?" He questioned, forcefully pushing my body back into the leather seats. My head hitting the seat in full force causing a slight pain.
With wide eyes, I looked at him, curious as to what he would do next.
"Even though I prefer sir... I love to hear my name come out of your mouth." He brushed his finger against my chapped lips gazing at them deeply. "But you need to put more respect on it than you do."
"Tae-"I started as I felt his hand grasp my neck. My pulse beating within his palm.
"Shh you're so pretty doll." he flashed a box smile before lightly smacking the maroon mark on my neck, making me flinch. He immediately started the vehicle again and took off at a much more steady pace.
Sociopathic bitch.
We drove sometime now, the green planes only in view, constant desolation causing my eyes to tire in boredom.
"I'm hungry." I spoke, he now was more calm,
relaxing in the leather seats he lazily drove the vehicle. He turned into a small filling station off the side of the road. Pedestrians were walking through the convenience stores.
"What the fuck!" he growled pulling into the parking lot."There are so many damn people."
"You never had to go get gas before?" I sneered rolling my eyes.
"Look...I'm going to fill up the gas and you get food. Don't fucking say a word It'll be a bad fate for you and those involved." He snapped taking out a one hundred dollar bill from his wallet.
"Taehyung.. this is a gas station."
"So? can't they break it?" He furrowed his brows.
I took the bill willingly before trying to exit once I felt him grab my arm. "Wait! ... put these on."
He placed a pair of pale pink sunglasses in my hand. They had silver studs encrusted along the sides and the iconic Gucci symbol.
Where the hell were these when I was riding?
I stepped out the car walking steadily into the store. I needed to know where I was, it could at least help me escape. The store was packed with people walking up and down aisles and standing in multiple lines.
I wandered through the aisles picking up snacks that I've been craving since being abducted.
"Gosh." I sighed, grabbing three honeybuns, salted peanuts and a banana for him.
Roaming to the beverages I pulled on the door retrieving a sprite and a water bottle. I walked to one of the cashier lines waiting behind an anxious woman.
"Mam', could you please look at this photo? please, it's my daughter she's gone missing about a month or two ago please!" A short woman yelled at the clerk. Her blonde hair cut to her shoulders as she was frantic, she pushed the flyers to the cashiers' view.
"The best I can do is hang up a few flyers I'm sorry I haven't seen her." The clerk responded.
I felt goosebumps fill my body as I caught a glimpse of the photo. The strand of golden locs I so clearly knew.
"C-can I please see?" I asked timidly, she turned to me her face wet with tears.
"Her name is Athena, Athena Thompson she has blonde hair to her lower back and bright blue eyes .. we live about 3 towns over. It's been a two-month search I don't know what else to do."
I felt my heart drop as the flyer was placed in my hands. Despair controlled my being, she could lead me to safety, but how could I possibly tell her that her daughter is dead?
"I'm s-" I began as I suddenly felt a hand grasp my lower back.
"Baby, You didn't buy the food yet?" he whispered, his voice causing me to feel indisposed. I despised nothing more than the sound of his voice.
"I apologize for my girlfriend we are on a very tight schedule—I hope you find your daughter soon." He smiled.
"Thank you.. thank you, sir." Nodding, she walked out of the store, continuing to beg for someone to view the flyers within her hand.
"Your total will be 8.56." the clerk spoke.
He entangled his hand in mine retrieving the bill and placing it in hers. She looked at the bill in surprise barely opening her mouth to speak.
"Keep it." he smiled, grabbing the bags and my arm roughly. He dragged me out the store my arm in his grasp.
"Doll I don't know why you decided to take so fucking long when I told you to do one simple thing...were you trying to get away from me?"
Whispering in my ear he pulled me closer, hauling me to the car as he forcefully pushed me in.
"Ahhhhh!" I screamed in frustration my voice became caught in my throat. Tears flooded my vision as I sobbed quietly. He opened up the driver's door, accelerating the vehicle, and taking off.
"You're so lucky we're already fucking late doll." He smiled, he gripped the wheel tightly, his hands turning white from the force. I felt the anger in his presence, he wanted nothing more than to place fear within me.
"Once we get to where we're going I'm going to teach you to never disobey me!" He spoke.
I couldn't speak to him, I didn't have the strength to. The thought of Athena's mom not knowing that her daughter had died in his possession filled my soul with enmity. Would that be my fate? Are my parents searching for me as well?
I didn't speak for the next thirty minutes, I watched out the window as the peachy blue skies became a dark midnight hue. The previous green pastures disappearing from my view.
He pulled the car into a busy parking lot, filled with an array of expensive vehicles like his own. Men cluttered the entrance of the building in suit and ties. The bright lights flashing from the door.
"Doll, we're here." he whispered.
I lifted my head to read the large neon sign. In pink it was scripted les dames nues.
