Chapter 47

Annabeth's POV

They were taking me out of the dungeons for some reason, I doubted it could be for a good one.

"Our sources say he has joined the campers and is aware we have the girl," I heard someone saying ahead of me.

We entered into a huge room decorated hideously, everything was made of precious metals or gems, it was painful to look at. I saw the source of the conversation at the front of it, a cyclops was standing in front of a throne. On the throne sat a hideous Giant, though unfortunately he was not the most hideous of his brothers. Porphyrion.

"Ah, the Athena girl," He smiled as he saw me. "As I'm sure you know by now, we are able to rise, courtesy of your boyfriend."

"You're lying," I said. I would never believe it. Tricking Ares into destroying Percy's life I could believe, but Percy fighting against the Gods, that isn't possible.

"Well, soon enough you'll see," He smiled again. "Take her over there, behind the curtain."

"What? Why?" I demanded.

"To watch, I'm sure he'll be here soon," He said, then to my escort, "Keep a sword ready,"

I don't know how long we waited, maybe an hour or two, but I eventually heard someone approaching.

"Ahh Órkos, I wondered how long it would take you," Porphyrion said to the newcomer.

"Where is she?" The new voice demanded. It sounded like the man in gold's voice, the Percy imposter.

Porphyrion laughed, "You are just as predictable as mother said. Well Órkos, perhaps a similar deal could be reached. I believe my mother made you some promises that the Titans did not fulfil. Well, as a display of good faith, bring out the girl."

Suddenly I was pushed out from behind the curtain and fell on the floor in front the man in gold. Looking up I couldn't believe my eyes, "Percy?"
