Jessie's POV

A dark-haired boy was running up a hill, then the same boy, a little older now, was standing back to back with a blond girl. Then they were both sharing an underwater kiss. The scene then changed to the blond girl sitting by the beach with tears on her face. Then the boy was back and the two were holding each other as they fell into blackness. The next scene showed the boy hunched over the girl's lifeless body. I felt his rage, his hatred towards the man who had done this, and towards the gods who had never helped him no matter how many times he saved them.

I woke up sweating, and it took me a minute to remember my dream. The boy in my dream had been the boy hiding at the beach! The boy that had sounded like Glitter!

I tried to get out of my bed, but Will came in and stopped me.

"You are not going anywhere for a few hours. You hit your head hard when you fell, you need to rest," He ordered.

"But I can't! I know what Glitter looks like!" I couldn't contain my excitement. If I could find the blond girl then she could tell me who he is! She could help me prove him innocent!

My shoulders dropped as I remembered the last scene, the girl's dead body and the boy's anger. Was it possible Glitter had no desire to free the Gods? Had this been his plan since the beginning?

"You know what Glitter looks like?" Will asked me slowly.

"Where am I?" I asked changing the subject. I didn't want to admit that I might have been wrong about Glitter.

"The infirmary, Grover brought you here after you fell."

"That's what he said happened?" I asked curious. Was he covering for Glitter? Was that why he didn't want me to look behind that bush?

"Yeah, did something else happen that he isn't telling us?" Will asked, his eyes narrowing.

"No," I said a little too quickly," I just didn't know what happened, I can't remember."

"Okay, rest for a little bit longer, then you may leave," Will said changing the subject.

"Thank you," I said as he left the room.

I laid back down and closed my eyes. I needed to talk to Grover. He was the only one who could help me figure this out.
